"Gaara," called out Kagome melodiously, and Gaara turned slightly towards her, the only indication that he was listening. Kagome smiled at the acquisition, remembering a time she would not have gotten such a response.
"Your mission tomorrow, Temari says it'll be the longest that you three have ever left the Desert," Kagome began as her blue eyes briefly left Gaara's wandering teal to glance at the Night sky. She remembered her first time away from home by herself, she had been a mess. "Are you worried?"
Gaara blinked, he had not thought this was something to be worried about, "No."
