Kankuro was agitated. They had been running three days straight with few and short breaks. He was sweaty and gross, Temari was being a witch, and Gaara had closed himself off so much that Kankuro was worried that all the good the last nine months had done for Gaara had gone up in flames.
So maybe he was looking for a way to blow off some steam when they finally arrived and maybe he was looking to forget the fear churning inside of him for just a little bit, and perhaps this came in the form of bullying little kids.
