"That hurt," growled Kankuro as he bent down to pick up the brat that had crashed into him with a look of disdain. Kankuro could feel the disapproval Temari was sending him, but Kankuro was agitated and afraid and this kid would be a great distraction.
"Kankuro," warned Temari, but Kankuro ignored her.
"Hey Fatso! Let him go!" screamed a voice from somewhere in front of him. Kankuro looked down from the dangling brat in his hands towards the blonde charging towards him. The boy's headband caught a ray of sun and Kankuro slightly lowered the brat in his hands.
