4. Son

"Yoshio!"

Utahime shouted among the people, looking for her son with her eyes and going into some stalls to see if her son was there

Her heart was breaking and the anguish made her tremble... her son was far from her and her tears were saltier than normal in the face of such concern

The fear that a mother suffers is terrible and that fear is always accompanied by a thousand questions

Did Gojo already know the truth and that's why he took my son? Was he doing this as revenge for his father rejecting him? Why did Yoshio go with that man? Where are they? It will be OK? Will you be crying? WHERE IS MY SON?

"Excuse me! Have you seen a black-haired, blue-eyed boy dressed in a gray hakama pass by here? He was with a very tall man with white hair— Utahime asked an anguished merchant in the area

Also her apprentices and her mother were helping him look for her son

"Yoshio!" an apprentice shouted

"Excuse me! Haven't you seen... " Said the other apprentice starting to ask a person who was going to the temple

"Where the hell can they be?"
Utahime put her hands to her face because her tears began to flow from anguish

"Seek for traces of cursed energy!— Umeko began to say to the apprentices —Gojo is a sorcerer who has a lot of energy, it will be easier if we can locate a source of too much cursed energy among people.

"Yes lady!

"Umeko-sama right away!"

Both apprentices said before continuing their search

"Utahime..." she began to address her daughter "perhaps this wouldn't have happened if you..."

"I'm not for your sermons, mother! We must find them but already! I'll kill Gojo with my bare hands if he did anything to my son!"

She said too upset to hear about her mistakes, so she just kept desperately searching for her little boy.

Umeko just sighed —Oh Kamis, help us with this please!— she asked her gods

Instead, those two had already walked too far outside the main temple.

Gojo and Yoshio visited various stalls in the area

They entered a store where they sold some traditional toys

Being in that establishment they both had fun, especially Yoshio since he played pranks on Gojo and asked him for all kinds of toys

"I want this one!" Yoshio said raising a kendama

Gojo raised an eyebrow "I don't think you know how to play that brat thing...

"Of course I know! Look..." said the little boy trying to catch the ball that was attached to the end of the rope

Gojo laughed a little at that demonstration... that made the sorcerer nostalgic because he also had one of those toys when he was a child, but he never had anyone to play with and he assumed that it was the same with that child

Yoshio just pursed his lips, if you looked closely those grimaces were the same as his mother's and that made Gojo curious

"Watch and learn little brat!" Gojo said taking that toy and showing because it was the best

Yoshio was surprised by that demonstration

"Look! That's how it's done... Not for nothing am I the best sorcerer in the world" Gojo flattered himself by taking off his sunglasses.

"Of course you know how to play it— Yoshio put his hands on his hips—That game was invented thousands of years ago, the same thousands of years you have, old man!" I stick out my tongue

"You.. Little Brat" Gojo smiled

"Oh I want this too!" Yoshio now ran to get a ball Temari

And that was repeated with that traditional toy

In the end Gojo ended up agreeing to buy him those two toys and some more like a kite, a taketonbo, a pata-pata and a hanafuda card game so that he would tell him how to convince his grandfather

Gojo sighed. "Are you sure if I buy all this you'll tell me what I want to know?" Gojo asked, standing at the counter.

"Of course! My mom has taught me that we should keep all our promises." He made a slight face at the adult's doubt

"Okay, charge me for all of these please," Gojo said to the cashier as he pulled out his wallet.

Yoshio smiled as he stood on tiptoe to look at that counter

"It seems that your son likes to play a lot, huh?" Said that cashier smiling

"My son?"
Gojo raised an eyebrow before giving his credit card.

"Yes, your son looks a lot like you, he even inherited your eye color" said that woman, starting to collect.

That confused Gojo more, he only looked at Yoshio for a moment, he was very distracted admiring his new toys

"My son?"
That man questioned himself mentally

But it was not in the only establishment where they told him that

After they entered a small store where they sold souvenirs, where even Yoshio told him what souvenirs he could take

Gojo was also told there that Yoshio looked too much like him inside that store

That began to make the sorcerer more doubtful since he knew that if he had slept with Utahime years ago... but he wasn't sure if that child was "His"

"Take littler boy! And don't forget to thank your dad for the ice cream." Said an old man handing him a glass with strawberry ice cream and many chocolates on top

"Thank you!" Yoshio said excitedly as he eat

Gojo again felt strange being told that he was the father of that child

"Take gentleman," said the old man, handing Gojo a cone with strawberry ice cream and lots of chocolates, "I hope you and your son enjoy it."

"Son? Does he really look like me?" Gojo asked curiously.

The voice of older adults always has weight in one way or another in people with doubts

"Of course they look alike!" There is no doubt that this child is yours, not only did Inherited you get the color out of your eyes but also your taste for this flavor of icecream— he look at that Little boy

"He even looks like you in some features, maybe when he's big he'll be the same as you... you should be proud of that." Said the old man with a big smile

Gojo just opened his eyes very wide... that in a certain way began to frighten and intrigue him...

They both went to sit on a bench under some trees.

Summer was just beginning, so the cool weather made eating an ice cream under good shade a place of peace and tranquility

Yoshio ate that dessert very happily, however, Gojo was lost in thought

After everything those people had told him about Yoshio looking a lot like him, Gojo began to question what Mamoru said about his grandson.

"Yoshio is a Blessing sent by the Kamis we serve"

—Well it was true, Utahime had been an only child and having a male grandson was convenient and more to maintain that sanctuary

"But... I'm not able to see the truth?" Which truth? Which Utahime had a child of mine? Ha... Is that possible?...

-It is? Well, if so, why didn't you tell me? Is that why she walked away from the Jujutsu academy? Is that why he walked away from me? ...

"Is Yoshio my son?"

Gojo had furrowed his brows as he was thinking and yoshio noticed all that

"Hey! Saturnon!" Said that little boy pulling Gojo's sleeve

That adult just shook his head "huh?"

He looked at that child under those light rays of sunlight that filtered through the leaves... really that child was a copy of him when he was little... something inside him told him that he was his son

"Are you okay? Do you want me to tell you how to convince to my Grandpa?" Yoshio asked before continuing to quickly eat ice cream.

"It is cold! frozen brain! Yuck!" Said Yoshi wrinkling his nose

That caused Gojo tenderness

"Well... a deal is a deal, so yes... tell me, how can I convince your annoying grandparent?" he ask eating some of their icecream

"First, you must make my Mami or my granny convince him... he always listens to them after someone makes him angry." Yoshio said smiling

"mmm That won't work ... Haha your mother doesn't like me sometimes hahaha." Gojo laughed a bit and then sighed.

"Although... you could also give him a lot of alcohol, that also convinces him, especially when this drunk is a very kind person. — Yoshio ate more ice cream

"Oh you could help in the temple, that's what the clan of my mom's former student did, they gave a lot of money to restore the temple and that's why they agreed to be their allies." Yoshio said smiling

"mmm It's also a good option to give him a lot of alcohol or money" Gojo said with a slight smile that quickly faded.

"Aren't you supposed to be happy, old man?" I just told you the secret to making grandpa happy." That little boy said with a grimace

"I am! I'm just thinking about what I'm going to do first..." Gojo said with a breathe deeply

"By the way... brat..." Gojo began to question.

Now he cared to know more about the truth about that child" How old are you?" Ask Satoru

"I'm almost six... and in case you want to give me something, my birthday is August 17." That boy said with a big smile

"Nearly Six, huh?" Gojo said, putting a hand to his chin and began to analyze and remember

He and Utahime had slept together a few times, but he also began to remember that after Gojo's birthday and almost into the new year, Utahime began to cut off communication with him because he began to avoid him from everywhere.

And above all, it was when she decided to leave the academy without giving so many explanations.

"So, Utahime must have been pregnant between November or December and now that I remember, we had both slept together several times before that winter... —was the first conclusion Gojo drew

If that child was almost six years old, his age coincided with the time when Utahime disappeared almost completely from Gojo's life... until he found her

That would explain why she fainted when she saw him after so long... was the second conclusion Gojo came to

"But how else can I prove that he is my son?"

Gojo thought at that moment when Yoshio's voice brought him out of his thoughts

—Shoo! Length! fuck you horrible creature!

That little boy said, moving his little hand towards a curse that had appeared in front of them

"Can you see them too, huh?" Gojo asked as he watched Yoshio do that.

"Yes, and it's annoying!" Just as sometimes it's annoying what happens to my eyes..." Said that little boy rubbing his eyes with his fist

"What do you have in your eyes?" Gojo asked curious.

"Sometimes my eyes get very tired... and more so when I can see these horrible things or when I see people who are cursed... I see, as well as some lights that surround them and at the same time it feels as if I could seeing everything at once... it's like a Boom! In my eyes" Yoshio said still rubbing his eyes

"Although my grandfather says that it is a blessing that the kamis gave me that I can see all this... although sometimes they scare me a lot and even if I start praying... they don't go away... they're still there..." Said that boy in a sigh

Gojo was surprised by that and wanted to check something...

His heart was beating too fast for that idea that crossed his mind and its possible result that would change everything.

So the sorcerer put his dark glasses on that boy

Yoshio was surprised by that

"Yoshi..." Gojo gulped.

"Tell me... what do you see with these glasses?" He ask with a bit of uncertainty.

"I still see the lights that I told you about and I still see everything… I even keep seeing that disgusting thing that is there" Yoshio point to that curse that kept getting closer to the people who were on the other bench

There Gojo knew everything... that boy was his son

Gojo smiled with happiness, it was as if he had found a needle in the haystack... a hidden treasure

"Yoshi" Gojo said smiling at him

"What's wrong old man?" Asked that little boy still with his sunglasses on

"By the way, do I look handsome?" Asked that somewhat curious little boy as he watched as Gojo crouched down to his height

"I'd say you look as handsome as me...mmm. How about I teach you how to eliminate those ugly things?" He said with a big smile.

-Really? I want you to teach me, old man! - Said that boy, very excited.

Gojo felt a great joy inside him... maybe that way he could convince Mamoru and by the way talk to Utahime about HIS SON

Meanwhile, Utahime continued to search for her son.

Notes

Did you know: Virtually any normal person or wizard COULD NOT SEE through Gojo Satoru's sunglasses

Why? Because these are made especially for him

This is an interesting fact since, like uniforms, some weapons or special items are sent exclusively to certain wizards.

So in theory... only another wearer of all six eyes could see with those glasses.
