18. Tokyo Yes, Shibuya NO
"G...G...Go" Ijichi was stuttering too much.
His face was contorted as he pointed at the boy in front of him
"A M...Mi...Ni...Go...!" Ijichi was shocked by what he was seeing
That face and stutter was the same as when Yujii Itadori had come back to life
But now he was shocked to see a mini Gojo in front of him
Yoshio sighed and made a slight face.
"Another who makes a perverted face"— He sigh— "Hey four eyes reacts!"— Yoshio snapped his fingers —"Pervert with glasses!"—
"NOOOOO A MINI GOJO!" the assistant yelled.
That little boy just snorted putting his hands into his sweatshirt
Loud laughter rang out behind them.
"Hahahaha Ijichi! He is my son, Yoshio!" Gojo said, putting him hands on the shoulders of his little one "Yoshio, this is Ijichi, my assistant."
"I only see a four eyes that trembles like a chihuahua "—commented that boy
"Isn't that so adorable?" commented Gojo very proud of his son's comment
Ijichi adjusted his glasses "God has abandoned us..."
"You two stop bothering poor Ijichi!" Utahime finally caught up with them in the parking lot of those apartments
"Iori San, it's nice to see you again!" Ijichi bowed to her
"The same i say, Ijichi" — She smiled slightly —"I'm surprised you're still working for this asshole"— She pointed his thumb at Gojo
"Well, I'm not here of my own free will but because..." Ijichi was interrupted
"Well, let's not waste any more time!" IJichi we take to the center" ordered Gojo
"But Gojo san, there's something important I have to tell you!" the assistant commented.
"Get in," Gojo said with a big smile, opening the door to the back seats.
He let his son up first, who took him by the hand to get into that black car.
This little guy sat in the middle seats
He then tried to be gentlemanly with Utahime, shaking him hand to get her up but she completely ignored him.
Gojo closed the door and headed up the other side.
Ijichi just followed him, he seemed desperate
"Gojo san, we received a response from the Ashiya clan! They want..."— He was interrupted by Gojo
"Whatever it is, you'll tell me later, OK?" Now we go to eat!" - said Gojo with a big smile
"But!" Ijichi wanted to protest.
"Oh he hit you!"
Ijichi screeched at that answer and just ran up to the pilot's seat.
On the way, Yoshio watched the behavior of his parents
He looked to his right, his mother was very serious with her hand resting on the backrest and looking out the window
Then he looked to his left and instead, his father was having fun harassing Ijichi from the back seat
Yoshio didn't know how the hell those two opposites could be his parents, but he was sure of one thing, and that is that he felt that "there was something more" between them.
He "supposed" it because he had seen them very "together" when he entered the kitchen
Or that they looked like two "boyfriends" fighting over something insignificant before leaving
So he decided to intervene
He cleared his throat and decided to provoke his father.
"Wow, this car isn't as big as the car that Kenji chan has, isn't it Mami?" He comment with a little smile.
Yoshio knew that was his father's weak point
"Yes, something," Utahime replied looking at her son.
Gojo grimaced slightly at that comment.
He look at his little boy and he smiles back at him.
"Well, I guess it's 'the only thing" big that guy has" Gojo dropped that hint looking at Utahime.
Utahime rolled her eyes and a slight grimace was marked on her lips—"Idiot..."
Gojo laughed a little at that answer
Yoshio analyzed that, his blue eyes went from one side to another
Again, Utahime was silent looking out the window to ignore Gojo
But this as always wanted to get her attention and this would be one of his next goals...
The albino slowly stretched his right arm over the back of the seats, first caressing his son's hair before resting his hand near Utahime.
And as if it were a game, Gojo put his index finger to his lips as a sign that they will be silent.
His son just tried to contain the giggle, since he knew what his father would do.
Little by little, Gojo's hand went to Utahime's bare shoulder.
He carefully "touched" her with his index finger, but she smacked his hand hard.
Yoshio laughed at that while the woman turned to see them
"It wasn't me, it was Yoshio" commented Gojo pointing to his son
"It is not true! It was dad!" Yoshio said pointing to his father
Utahime sighed and shook his head no... "like father like son" she thought before ignoring them again
Again, Gojo tried to pat Utahime's shoulder... this time he almost managed to gently run his finger all over her shoulder.
But again, Utahime gave him another smack
Gojo only made a slight grimace, he wanted to get her attention at any cost.
But the one who seemed to do well and without any reproach was her son, who hugged and looked sweetly at his mother.
"Mommy, can I lie on your lap?" He ask innocently.
"Of course my life" answered Utahime with a smile
That child once put his head on his mother's lap, and stuck out his tongue at his father
Gojo smiled a little at that... he knew that more days like this awaited him
"So... Does that mean I'm going to see Saturron, I tell dad! more often?" — Yoshio questioned very excited before eating more of his hamburger
"That's right!, you will "be able" to live with him a few days a week..."— His mother answered
"Does that mean I can finally go to Tokyo?!" He got up in his seat
"That's right Brat!" You can live with me in Tokyo if you want!"— answered Gojo very excited
"Living as such NO! You're only going to be able to go with Gojo for a few days" — replied Utahime wiping his little boy's cheek — "And sit well Yoshio! Don't step on the seat!"— She call his attention
That "family" had come to a restaurant that Yoshio liked very much.
Only those three were sitting at that table
While Ijichi had been sent (on Gojo's orders) to eat a few tables away from them
This to talk quietly with family
Even so, Ijichi was still worried as he had a strange feeling as he looked at that family.
At the same time that he ate, he tried to search for more information from his laptop about the Ashiya clan
Both parents were still trying to agree on the visits, it was a bit complicated because Utahime did not want Yoshio to leave Kyoto for so long
"And what if from these days you stay with me in Tokyo? What do you think Yoshio?" asked Gojo with a big smile
That suggestion seemed wonderful to that child
Her little face lit up too much—"I'd love to!"
But quickly Utahime intervened
"That's not going to be possible!" she said seriously.
"Hey? And why NOT, Utahime? Yoshio can stay with me in Tokyo for as long as he wants"— Gojo commented with a big smile.
"Not because..." Utahime was going to make her conditions clear.
"Yoshio is still in school and still has to go to his training until mid-July, so you, Satoru, must be visiting him here in Kyoto while he's on vacation," she commented somewhat annoyed before cutting more of her plate
"But Kyoto is a very boring and traditional city" commented Gojo looking into her eyes
"Yoshio needs to know a real city and Tokyo has always been better than Kyoto"— he stole a fried potato
"Don't you remember the twin school festivals when we were teachers at Jujutsu Tech?" he said with a big smile and wagging his fingers playfully.
Utahime grimaced slightly.
Yoshio just looked around as he ate his burger.
"Of course I remember well... I remember that you were always an irresponsible teacher and I don't want that to happen to my son," Utahime replied, tapping Gojo's hand lightly, she saw that that idiot was going to steal more fries.
"Please Utahime! You know both cities perfectly and you know that Tokyo is more fun than Kyoto!" Gojo said trying to convince her
"Besides, there are your favorite bars, don't you remember?... when we used to go out alone at night in that city," he said in a somewhat mischievous tone as he gently caressed Utahime's hand
Gojo made soft circles on her hand and tried to interlock their fingers.
"mmmm I don't remember" — Utahime snatched his hand away —"Even so, I prefer that you come to see Yoshio here in Kyoto"
"Come on, Utahime, don't be like that!" Gojo begged.
"Yoshio can only go with you to Tokyo until he goes on vacation and he will have to be accompanied by someone I trust, besides I don't know if it's a "good" idea to stay with you there, you'd have to return him to Kyoto at nightfall" — Utahime said seriously
"You seriously don't trust me to take good care of our son, Utahime?" Gojo commented in a pained tone.
"Do I really have to ask you? Or should I remind you of all the negligence you did with Megumi in her time?" She crossed his hands.
"Please! I only lost Megumi once in Tokyo! I don't think I'll lose Yoshio"— Gojo commented smiling
"Who is Megumi?" Yoshio questioned, even more confused by what his parents were saying.
"Your older brother!" Gojo replied very happily and looking at his son "You'll meet him soon" he winked.
Yoshio's eyes widened in surprise. "Do I have an older brother?" he said stunned
Utahime looked at her son and tried to explain, "He's not your biological brother my life... this idiot adopted him... well, it's a long story that I'll tell you later" she comment stroking her son's hair
That left Yoshio more confused
"Anyway" Utahime looked back at Gojo
"Besides, I don't want Yoshio to get hurt like all the times Megumi got hurt" she said with a grimace.
"He was never seriously injured, besides all that made him a great sorcerer at the time! Even now he's still a great guy." Gojo replied with a big smile.
Yoshio just kept listening to all that
"Come on Utahime!" I promise that I will take good care of our son while in Tokyo"— Gojo replied with a big smile— "Or do you not trust me?"
"You have to earn my trust again, Gojo" she replied with her arms crossed
That seemed to be a fun challenge for Gojo
"Oh if so, not only will I gain your trust Utahime but "something else"" he replied stealing another potato chip
Utahime stared at him with pursed lips
So those two kept talking about which city was safer, which was better, about curses, etc... Tokyo was the center of their discussion and they couldn't agree
On the other hand, poor Yoshio had already had enough of hearing them
This boy made a slight face and suddenly asked, "Even if it is, can I go to Shibuya?"
His desire was to know that area of Tokyo since he had memory
Both parents froze upon hearing that name.
"NO!"
"NO!"
Both adults answered at the same time
Utahime widened her eyes when she noticed that she and Gojo had said that in unison
Yoshio was also surprised by that, it seemed that that was the only thing he agreed on
"And why not?" asked that little boy in a grimace at such a refusal
Gojo felt the memories of Vietnam very present —"Why...—
Utahime gulped.
"Shibuya is a very dangerous place, my love," him mother commented. "So when you go to Tokyo, you can't go there."
"Are you saying that because of the terrorists who attacked the station six years ago?" Yoshio asked innocently.
"For that and for the curses!" Shibuya isn't pretty nowadays, so your mother is right, you're forbidden to go to Shibuya" - Gojo replied waving his hand
On the part of the high command and the government, that incident was classified as "a terrorist attack" since ordinary people were not going to understand anything about the curses
Both adults looked into each other's eyes.
"It seems that only in that we agree, right Utahime?" Gojo questioned with a smile
"And it seems that it will be the only thing" She return the smile
Yoshio just made a big face at that
"What had happened in Shibuya?" curses? And who the hell is Megumi? —That little boy wondered
After a few more minutes of trying to "reach" an agreement, Gojo continuing to steal Utahime's fries, and treating Ijichi like his waiter
Utahime finally agreed
She sigh heavily—"Okay... this first weekend Yoshio can go with you to Tokyo, but you must return him safe and sound on Sunday afternoon, do you understand Gojo?"
Gojo only responded with a big smile of triumph. "That's how it will be!"
"Yei!" Yoshio celebrated
Father and Son celebrated that with a great dessert
Instead, Utahime only prayed to heaven that he was not making a big mistake in letting his son go to that city.
And so, this family after eating went for a walk...
To be continue...
