Something in Gaara snapped, some strand that used to hold something important in, but Gaara was beyond caring, even as the discord echoed in his ears. That boy still had hope he could escape; Gaara was going to make the last moments of his existence excruciating.

The first thing he was going to do was destroy his hope. Gaara clenched his jaw and then his fist, his eyes greedily drinking in the way the boy cried out in pain as Gaara destroyed his chances as a ninja. If the boy was going to survive longer than the next moments, it wasn't going to be as a ninja, he was going to die as a victim.

Gaara watched as the sand began to encase the rest of the enemy, leisurely taking its time to caress the body it was going to pulverize. Gaara turned his gaze back to the boy's eyes, hoping to see the hope snuffed out, but the stupid boy had his eyes clenched tight. Gaara frowned at the sight, it displeased him.

"Stop!" a shout called distracting Gaara so he didn't see the boy being taken from his sands. When he did notice, rage beat in his chest.
