Baki looked down towards his students. The preliminaries had ended but his Genin did not look satisfied with their victories. Baki narrowed his eyes as he appraised each Genin separately.
Temari was biting on the inside of her cheek, her eyes wandering over the room's occupants with a wary eye. She was wound up so tense that Baki was sure any sudden movements would send her into violent action.
Kankuro was filled with such frantic energy that Baki might just stab the boy if he didn't stop his needlessly tapping foot. His hand would make sudden jumps towards his weapons pouch whenever he made eye contact with anyone in the room.
The most worrisome, however, was the completely blank eyes that Gaara cast over the other victors, an almost predatory gleam in his teal eyes. His body was completely loose, his hands relaxed at his sides, his shoulders slouched, but his gaze never wavered from the injured Genin around the balcony.
Baki would have his work cut out for him this month. He apparently needed to teach his kids how to better handle a psychologically trying experience, something Baki had hoped to avoid until his students were at least Chuunin.
