"So what are you hoping to find at the training grounds?" asked Gai curiously as a comfortable silence encompassed the two.
"Temari probably," admitted Kagome with a smile, despite their earlier mishap, Kagome found herself quite enjoying the ninja's company, "since Kankuro is doubtlessly in the forests looking for new poisons and Gaara shouldn't be too far from his siblings."
Gai started as he looked over at the girl. He knew that she was from Suna because of her black desert robes and that she must know the Suna Genin team that was participating in the Chuunin Exam, but he had not thought that she knew them well enough to speak so fondly of them. Perhaps she didn't know how extreme the team was as she was obviously not a ninja. Gai could not imagine that this kind girl would ever abide by the mutilation of a fellow Genin in a peaceful fight, surely she was more honorable than that?
"Ah the Suna team! They have been diligently training utilizing HARD WORK! It is most honorable," exclaimed Gai, because although he didn't abide the excessive nature of the team he could respect their diligence, besides Gai was foremost a diplomat.
