"Kagome!" yelped a familiar voice as the pair walked into Temari's hotel room.
"You've been here the entire time!" groused Temari displeased as she stomped over towards where her brother lounged at a low table with Baki, and kicked him as she walked behind him, before she kneeled on his opposite side. Kankuro reluctantly straightened to massage his lower back, Temari didn't hold back on her little brother.
"Kagome," nodded Baki as the raven haired teen found her way to his side and kneeling down beside him, "I had thought you would find your way here, eventually."
"You knew she was coming Baki-sensei! Then you know that she's working for the Kazekage now, tricked by the sounds of it," Temari stated in a sour tone, as though working for her Father was the same as working for the Devil. Kagome didn't disagree with Temari's assessment.
Kagome reluctantly glanced towards Baki, his one exposed eye showed surprise, and Kagome was sure that he must be disappointed in her. Baki had always been silently against her taking the job.
"I'd known that she would be here," explained Baki before muttering to himself, "I just thought the Kage understood to leave her alone."
