n. a turnabout, especially a reversal of opinion or policy.

Disclaimer: I do not own that which belongs to another.

Shikamaru decided that leaning against the wall was a much more comfortable place to be than crouching on the ground. He could tell that Naruto was already entrenched in the drama unfolding in front of him, there was no way for them to escape now, not when Naruto had become attached to the situation.

"Troublesome," he muttered lowly, his hands lacing behind his head. Shikamaru nearly toppled as the raven haired girl turned towards him, a smile spilling across her pink lips, almost as though she had heard him. Shikamaru wondered if she had super hearing, but he did not recall Suna having a clan that specialized in enhanced audible ranges.

"My father?" Gaara asked. His tone was completely different than how it had been earlier, when he had told Shikamaru about his life story. Gaara sounded as though he was coming out of a deep sleep and his thoughts were disjointed and scattered. Maybe this girl did not just have tremendous hearing but some ability to control people; that was the only way that Shikamaru could describe the boy's turnabout in attitude.

"Enough about that, I wasn't lying before when I said something was wrong, Gaara," declared the girl.
