Steam rose from her bowl of miso ramen, it collected in strands of hypnotic white that swirled and clashed in the air.

"It's gonna get cold with you just looking at it! Ichiraku Ramen is the best right from the kitchen!" scolded Naruto as though he hadn't just turned Kagome's life upside down. If Home was where you wanted to return to, where did Kagome want to return to?

The Feudal Era? She had her friends there that needed her to… Well they needed her to help bind them up and to make them laugh and remind them that life isn't all severe and angst ridden (they tended to forget that a lot). Their quest was almost done and Kagome wasn't exactly necessary to their survival. All of her friends were capable of protecting themselves… but that didn't mean they wouldn't have missed her these past few months. Did she see herself staying there though, after it was all done?

The Shrine, was that Home? Her family was there, her snot nosed brother, her angelic mother and her senile grandfather. It was a place she had made so many memories, and she loved everyone there. Could she live there forever?
