"Oh, hello there," greeted Kagome nervously, as she gulped to moisten her suddenly dry throat, "don't mind me, I was just over at the hot springs when I noticed that there was an observer to many, and I just wanted to give them a piece of my mind."

In Kagome's limited time around Ninja's she had found that telling the truth was the absolute worst thing to do. At least at first. Ninja's never believed the first thing that came out of anyone's mouth, at least not without significant evidence. In Kagome's experience Ninjas didn't like to be given anything for nothing, which is why it was best to lie first, let them do a bit of work before telling them the truth. It made them feel like they deserved their information. Of course, as Kagome was looking in the blank dark eye of the silvered haired ninja, she forgot. She was a truthful person to her core.

"So you decided that eavesdropping on a pair of Ninjas would help you find the culprit?" deadpanned the silver haired man, his eye turning upward in a smile that didn't reach his one black eye; although it did soften his features some.
