"Temari! You were listening too?" asked Kagome conversationally. Temari was leaning casually against a tree, her damp hair hurriedly tied back and her clothes looked disheveled, she must have followed after Kagome as soon as she was sure Kagome wouldn't spot her.

"I heard enough," acknowledged Temari, "I was looking into the seals myself when I ran into you."

"Suna doesn't know about them either than? Despite it being one of your citizens that created them," Whitey was saying casually, as though he was talking about the weather. Kagome was not fooled for a second, Miroku had used that trick on her enough times for her to have a slight immunity.

"Konoha is blaming Suna? What evidence do you have?" questioned Temari, her face darkening and twisting at the accusation. Kagome tensed, her eyes not leaving her friend's face. Kagome was reminded of the desperate Villagers of the Feudal Era, working themselves into a frenzy when they believed they had been wronged a time too many.

"Konoha is not placing the blame anywhere," placated Silver. Kagome watched the two sects interact. Temari's hackles were raised and ready for a fight, while the Konoha pair watched on, bodies tensing to respond.
