"That seal you have," answered Kagome lowly, her eyes locking onto the piece of delicate rice paper. This was her fault, and she wasn't willing to let her friends take the brunt of her mistakes. She knew that she would have to tread lightly here. But there was no outcome that Kagome got off scot free. Either Temari would know that she was fortifying the enemies defenses or Konoha would know that a Suna representative was messing with the integrity of their Village.

"You know something of it?" prompted Whitey. Kagome smiled humorously, he seemed eager to hear what she had to say, he must already suspect something.

"It's a seal that is meant to strengthen what it's attached to. The seal channels the spiritual energy in the area and within the materials themselves. The seal brings the local Kami's blessing to the object and when the seal is affixed correctly, the Kami will be nearby to protect it," recited Kagome, her eyes glazed as she remembered Kaede and her Grampa's lessons.

"This seal is not meant to harm?" questioned Silver.

"If it was meant to do that you would feel it, the evil of the seal would permeate everything."
