Last night when Tara finally told Jax the reason why Wendy kept calling her, was because Wendy was at the store last week, Jax was livid. He was pissed off that Tara would keep something like that from him, since she knows better than that. But he was even more pissed off that Wendy would violate the restraining order like that. Part of him would rather just kill her and bury her somewhere deep, and unmarked. But Jax ain't heartless and he ain't Clay either. After the warm water ran cold, Jax took a deep breath as he turned off of the shower and pulled the shower curtain back. He then stepped out of the shower as he grabbed a towel and dried off.
Walking towards the living room Jax found Tara sitting on the couch watching cartoons with the boys. He gave her a small smile as he walked into the kitchen to get himself a cup of coffee.
Tara got up from the couch and slowly walked into the kitchen." Are you still mad at me?" Tara asked quietly as she walked up to him. Last night when Tara told him that Wendy was at the store last week and that's why she kept calling, Jax yelled at her, he didn't snap at her or anything. But he yelled at her for not telling him and he also yelled. at her for even letting Wendy come into the store in the first place because of the restraining order, which Tara had no idea Jax had Lowen finalise during the holidays.
Jax sighs deeply as he set his cup down on the counter and grabs Tara's wrist and pulls her closer to him." I was, but not anymore." Jax said softly as he lifted her face up by her chin with his index finger." You can't keep things like this from me, babe especially where Wendy is concern."
" I already apologized for that, and you should've told me about the restraining order " Tara informed him as she placed both hands against his chest as she looks up at him more.
Jax nods his head." You're right, I should have and for that I'm sorry." Jax said softly as he leans down and kisses her forehead softly." I guess we are both even." He says with a small chuckle.
" Yeah... maybe. What are we gonna do about Wendy?" Tara asked as she pulled away from him and started to load the dishes from breakfast this morning into the dishwasher.
" We are not going to do anything about Wendy." Jax answers as he finished his coffee and hands the cup over to Tara after he rinsed it out.
" What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Tara asked as she placed both hands against her hips and looks at Jax suspiciously.
" It mean I'm going go talk to her myself." Jax responded as he gave her a quick kiss and walked out of the kitchen to grab his cut from the hook.
" Wait, you're seriously going to go talk to her by yourself?" Tara asked as she followed him out of the kitchen." Are you sure, you really wanna do that?" Tara asked again as she crossed her arms over her chest.
" Of course, I don't want to go talk to her. I don't want anything to do with her honestly. But I gotta do something to stop her." Jax said as he sighs softly and grabs Tara by the waist and pulls her closer to him once more." Wendy doesn't have a say in anything we do with our son. Her coming to the store and violating an restraining order is crossing the line. I gotta take care of this."
Tara nods her head." Just be careful, we both know Wendy would do or say anything to get to Abel." Tara says quietly.
" That's not gonna happen. Not after today." Jax responded as he leans down and kisses her forehead." I will call you later babe." He said as he opened the front door and walked out.
Few hours later Tara gathered the boys and headed over Lyla's, so the kids could play and her and Lyla can have some girl talk. There was something was weighing on Tara's mind and she needs some one to talk to. Pulling up in front of Opie and Lyla's place, Tara turned the engine off and got out of the car.
" So, how you been lately?" Lyla asked as she poured coffee into coffee cups and hands one over to Tara before sitting at the kitchen table and took a drink of her coffee.
" Things are fine, the store is doing great. I've been working a lot at the hospital lately and Claire has been doing an amazing job at the office. Everything is going great." Tara said as she took a drink of her coffee and joined Lyla at the kitchen table.
Lyla nods her head as she set her cup down." It's sad and kinda crazy about Gemma." Lyla had just recently found out about Gemma when she called her a few days ago. For as long as Lyla has known Gemma, she never thought Gemma would have cancer and she sure never thought Gemma would be dying either.
" Yeah, it is." Tara said as she took a drink and set her cup down." But I didn't come over to talk about Gemma, Gemma is the last thing I want to talk about. I kinda need you're advice on something."
" Me? You want advice from me?" Lyla asked as she was shocked and never in a million years would've thought Tara would actually ask her for advice about anything." I mean you usually go to Venus for advice."
" True I would, but Venus is out of town though visiting her son. So do you think you can help me with this?" Tara asked.
" I could try. What's on your mind?"
" Do you think I'm crazy for letting Jax and I stay in Charming for as long as we have?" Tara asked. Lately Tara has been wondering if actually staying in Charming was the right thing for their family. When Tara asked Chibs the same question and he reminded her that she sacrificed Oregon for the club. Tara couldn't help but wonder if making that sacrificed was really worth it.
Lyla just shrugged her shoulders as she wasn't sure how to answer that question." I honestly don't know. But where is this all coming from all of sudden?"
Tara sighs softly as she started to tell Lyla the whole story about how she got the job at Providence Hospital in Oregon and they were all set to leave Charming as soon as possible. But the moment Tara finally showed Jax the letters and once Jax found out the truth about JT, and of course Jax had to kill Clay because of it. Tara also told Lyla once Jax took the president patch, Tara knew she had to stay. But now she can't help but wonder what would have happened if she actually took the job and moved to Oregon.
" Wow, have you tried talking to Jax about this?"
Tara just shook her head." No. Jax got a lot on his plate right now. Dealing with things at Disoa and with Gemma dying, I haven't had the chance to talk to Jax about it and I'm not sure if I should." Tara wants to be able to talk to Jax about this, but she's afraid that Jax would resent Tara for it, especially since she knows how much Jax loves the club and Charming.
" I think you should talk to Jax about this, and if I know Jax he will understand how your feeling."
" Are you sure?"
Lyla nods her head as she reached across the table and gave Tara's hand a friendly squeeze." I am hundred percent positive. Jax loves you Tara and he would do anything for you, just talk to him."
" Thanks Lyla." Tara said as she gave her a small smile. Lyla is absolutely right, Tara needs to talk to Jax about this. Because honestly if she doesn't, Tara is just gonna keep it inside and she's gonna end up keeping her distance from him and that's the very last thing they both want.
After Jax got Wendy's home address from Juice, He walked upstairs to her apartment. Once Jax reached her door, he raised his fist up and knocked on the door a few times before stepping back.
Wendy wasn't really expecting anyone, so when she heard a knock coming from her door. Wendy suddenly got suspicious. When she walked up to the door and looked through the peephole and saw it was Jax, Wendy sighs deeply as she quickly opened the door.
" She finally talked to you?"
" Yeah, can I come in so we can talk?"
Wendy nods her head as she moved to the side and let's Jax in. She then closed the door behind them." Want coffee or anything?" Wendy tried to offer him, but Jax just turned it down.
" This isn't really a social visit Wendy, I'm here to remind you. That you need to stay away from my family. Going to Tara's store and asking her about wanting to see Abel was really dumb even for you. Do I need to remind you that the restraining order against you is still in effect?" Jax asked angrily.
" No, but Jax I'm trying here, I mean my God, Don't you think I actually regret for what I did to our son when he was born? Because I do every day Jax and I will for the rest of his life and mine. I just want to get to know him and for him to get to know me. Why are you so against it?" Wendy asked as she crossed her arms over her chest.
" Telling Abel who you really are is going to confuse him. The only mother Abel knows is Tara, Wendy. Tara has always been there for my son from day one. You walked away from him and Tara had to pick up the pieces and she raised him. Tara is Abel's mother and the only woman who's gonna call him son is Tara." Jax responded bluntly.
" Yeah, but Jax-". But before Wendy could even finish that sentence Jax completely cut her off.
" There's no buts Wendy, stay away from Tara and our son. Don't make me come back here and make me do something I'm going to regret." Jax said as he turned around and walked out of Wendy's apartment and closed the door.
The moment Wendy heard Jax ride away she sighs heavily as she dropped down on her couch. She sighs deeply once more as she fell her head against the back of the couch and closed her eyes for a moment. She then got up from her couch as she quickly grabbed her purse and car keys and quickly got out of her apartment.
Once Wendy turned the keys over and once the engine was on, Wendy pulled away from the apartment parking lot and headed towards Lodi. She needs something to get her mind off of her son for now, something that would numb her pain.
