AN: Real quick. I've finally decided to focus on one story at a time. For now and until the story is complete. I'm gonna put all my focus and writing into Samcro's New Queen and put my other Jax and Tara stories to the side. But don't worry though, once this story is done and completed I will focus on the others more.
It was in the middle of the night when Tara suddenly heard her cell ringing. Reaching for her cell as she answered the phone and placed it against her ear." Hello." Tara said as was still half asleep.
" Tara, it's Claire.I need you to drive me to the hospital. I don't know if it's contractions or if it's something else, but all I can feel is sharp pain." Claire is now eight months pregnant about to be nine months within a week and even though her and Happy's baby girl isn't due for another four weeks or so. Claire has been feeling really weird all day and she believes she might be having contractions already.
Tara quickly sat up as she looked over at the time and noticed it was already after two in the morning" Yeah, I can take you. Where's Happy though?" She asked as she can't help but wonder why Happy isn't home to take his pregnant old lady to the hospital.
Claire closed her eyes as she calms her breathing once the sharp pain stopped." He's still up in Tacoma and he won't be back until tomorrow." Claire hated that Happy to go up to Tacoma for some kind of protection run, but she wasn't gonna argue with him about it, since she already knew it wasn't gonna solve anything. So she just let go.
Tara nods her head as she got up and started to get dress." I will be there to pick you in about five minutes. " After Tara ended the call and set her cell down on the top of the dresser. She continued getting dress.
Jax lifted his head up as he heard Tara walking around in the room. Jax quickly ran his hand down his face as he looked over at the time." Babe? Why are you getting dress at two in the morning? " He asked as he raised his brow for a moment.
" I gotta take Claire to the hospital. Can you cal! Happy and let him know what's going on?" Tara asked as she slipped her shoes on and grabbed her purse and car keys.
" Yeah, but why are you taking Claire to the hospital? I mean is everything alright with the baby?"
" I'm taking her to the hospital because Happy is still up in Tacoma and he won't be back until tomorrow. Claire thinks she's having contractions which I'm sure it's nothing." Tara walked over to Jax as she gave him a quick kiss.
" I"ll call you once I know more." She said as she walked out of room and headed out of the front door.
Jax sighs for a moment as he grabbed his prepay and called Happy to let him know what's going on with Claire.
It's been over an hour since Tara drove Claire to St. Thomas and now they are both sitting in the waiting room as they wait patiently for the nurse to call for Claire.
"How you feeling?" Tara asked as she glanced over at Claire.
" I'm fine, I think the contractors have stopped." Claire answered with slow steady breath.
" Still in pain?" Tara asked in her doctor voice.
Claire shook her head no as she placed her hands on the top of her baby bump." Why is this happening now? I'm not even nine months yet and she's isn't due for at least another four weeks or less."
" I think you're just have bracktson contraction hicks. Your doctor is probably gonna have you on bed rest during the rest of your pregnancy." Tara explained as she remembered she was going through the same thing when she was pregnant with Thomas.
" I wish Happy was here." Claire said with a sigh. As much as she appreciates for Tara being here in the hospital with her tonight, it's not the same without Happy being there." He should be here. I need for him to be here with me Tara."
Tara nods her head in understanding." I know Claire. Jax just texted me a few seconds ago letting me know that he reached out to Happy and Hap should be on his way back down to Charming soon." Tara said as she gave Claire's hand a friendly squeeze." Everything will be fine, don't worry so much."
Claire nods her head a little as she gave Tara a small smile." Thanks for being here Tara."
" Anytime. " Tara answered with a friendly smile. When Tara heard the nurse call for Claire's name, she nods her head as she stood up with Claire." Alright, looks like your doctor is waiting for you." Tara said as she gave Claire a quick hug and lets her go.
" Wait, you're not coming in with me?" Claire asked as she was hoping that Tara would as she was kinda scared of dealing with this alone.
Tara shook her head with a small smile." No, I think its best if I stay here just in case Happy show up." Tara said as she sat back down. " Go, don't worry he'll be here." Tara said with a nod.
Claire nods her head." Okay." She said as she took a deep breath and walked through the double doors down the hospital halls as she follow the nurse.
Tara breathes deeply and chuckled lightly as she sorta remembered she was going through the same thing when she was pregnant with Thomas. Just like Claire Tara was also feeling sharp pain and she also believed she was having contractions even though she was only seven months pregnant. She also remembered that Gemma was sorta freaking out though. But luckily for Tara and Thomas, it was false labor. But she was put on bed rest for the remaining of her pregnancy.
" Where is she?" Happy asked as soon as he walked up to Tara. Happy got a call from Jax about an hour ago saying that his old lady was in the hospital and Jax mentioned something about Claire might be having contractions already. He sped all the way back down from Tacoma.
" She's with her doctor right now."
Happy ran his hands down his face as he exhaled deeply and nods his head." I'm gonna go catch up with her. Thanks for bringing her here tonight Tara." He said with another nod as he headed towards the double doors when he heard Tara say something.
" Hey Hap, I'm sure everything is gonna be fine. Don't worry too much." She said as she gave a small smile as she watched Happy walk through the doors. Once the doors were closed and Happy was gone. Tara grabbed her purse and her car keys and headed out of St. Thomas' parking lot and towards her car.
Once Tara got behind the wheel and closed her door. She pulled out her cell and quickly texted Jax letting him know that Happy just showed up and he's with Claire right now and that she was on her way home now.As soon as the text was sent, Tara buckled her seatbelt and started the engine.
To make sure there was no cars coming Tara pulled the stick back and drove out of the parking lot and headed for home. She so desperately wants to get back into bed and fall back to sleep with Jax.
