Enrolling in Narenja Academy
The boys' moms were sitting in the dining room table at the Marshs' new residence, having coffee, while Shelly was on the couch, texting; and Ike and Karen were watching cartoons when Stan and his friends came bursting in through the front door.
"Boys, what's gotten into you?" asked Sharon. Cartman runs up to Liane.
"Mom...Pokemon...so cool...seriously." said Cartman as he struggled to catch his breath.
"Sweetie; settle down, I can't understand what you're saying." said Liane. Stan walks up to the moms.
"Mom. There's this academy here in Mesagoza where we can learn about these awesome creatures that exist here called Pokemon." said Stan.
"You mean the Naranja Academy?" asked Sharon. The boys stared at her in shock.
"How do you know about it?" asked Kyle.
"I work there as a receptionist." said Sharon.
"Do you often see Pokemon around there?" asked Kenny.
"Yes, I see them all the time at the academy. Me and the other moms here often see them around the city." said Sharon.
"Hold on. You all knew about Pokemon and you didn't tell us?" replied Kyle.
"We didn't think you boys would be interested." said Sheila.
"Mom. We're talking about creatures that you can capture and train for battle against other trainers' Pokemon for easy money. Of course we would've been interested." said Kyle.
"Well you boys would've found out about them sooner if you actually left the houses and went into the city once in a while." said Carol.
"Fair point." said Kenny.
"So can we enroll at the Naranja Academy to become super-cool Pokemon trainers, please?" asked Cartman with his hands pressed against each other in a pleading manner.
"You really want to go to the academy, Eric?" asked Liane.
"Yeah, Mom. Seriously." replied Cartman. The moms looked at one another.
"What do you all think?" asked Sharon.
"Well it would be a good opportunity for the boys to make new friends; human or Pokemon." replied Sheila.
"And it would help get the boys out of the house for a while, now and then." said Carol.
"Yeah. The turd will be out of my hair so I can text in peace." said Shelly. Stan just stared back at her.
"I don't see why not." said Sharon.
"Hooray!" the boys cheered.
"After lunch, we'll go to the Naranja Academy and see about getting you four boys enrolled. What do you say?" said Sharon.
"Sweet!" said Cartman. Two hours later after the families had lunch and the dishes were cleaned; the boys and their moms walked through the city. They kept walking until they reached the front gates of the Naranja Academy. The boys couldn't help but be amazed at how large it was. The academy looked more like a palace than any school they've ever seen before. But what really interested the boys were the many types of Pokemon that they saw there. They saw one that looked like a giant sunflower (Sunflora), a yellow, mouse-like Pokemon that had a lightning bolt-shaped tail (Pikachu), one that looked like a big purple moth (Venomoth) one that looked like a sumo wrestler with big orange hands (Hariyama), and one that looked like a ball-shaped cactus with arms (Cacnea).
"Wow. Look at all these different kinds of Pokemon." said Stan.
"Check that one out." said Kyle, pointing at the Hariyama. "It looks fatter than Cartman."
"Yeah...HEY!" exclaimed Cartman.
"And I'll bet there's way more other kinds of Pokemon around here, too." Kenny says excitedly.
"All right, boys. Settle down. Let's keep looking around." said Sheila. They walked around the academy main building for a bit, taking in the sights. They saw several small arenas like the one they saw at the park, and a small, outdoor stage.
"I can't believe how nice and big this place is." said Kenny.
"It makes our old school seem like crap." said Cartman.
"Dude, a porta-potty would make our old school seem like crap." said Kyle.
"Yeah." said Stan.
"Okay, boys. Let's go inside and talk to Mr. Clavell about getting you four enrolled here." said Sharon.
"Who's Mr. Clavell?" asked Stan.
"He's the director of the Naranja Academy." said Sharon. The families went inside and all of them, except for Sharon who works there, were amazed at how nice it was. Sharon led them to a nearby office and she knocks on the door.
"Come in." a male voice calls out from the other side of the door. The families walk into the office and see a elderly gentleman with white, medium length hair and beard, wearing an orange blazer over a black dress shirt, white pants and shoes, and white, round-framed glasses sitting behind a desk. He stands up when he sees Sharon walking in with some other women and children he hasn't met before.
"Hello Mr. Clavell." said Sharon.
"Hello, Sharon. What can I do for you?" replied Mr. Clavell.
"Well, my friends and I were looking to enroll our boys here at Naranja Academy." said Sharon, gesturing to Stan and his friends.
"Hello, boys. So, you're interested in joining our academy?" asked Mr. Clavell.
"Yeah. We really want to learn about Pokemon." replied Stan.
"Yeah, we want to become trainers." said Cartman. Mr. Clavell smiles at the boys in response.
"It makes me happy to see children eager to learn about Pokemon." said Mr. Clavell.
"How much is the tuition fee here?" asked Carol.
"Not to worry; despite how expensive this place appears to be, it doesn't cost a lot to enroll here. We make it easy for children to do so, just so it can be easier for them to learn about Pokemon. We even have a young boy from America who won a scholarship here in a raffle most recently." said Mr. Clavell.
"Cool." said Kyle. Mr. Clavell reaches into a desk drawer and pulls out four applications for them to fill out and hands them to the moms.
"While your moms fill out your application forms, how about I show you around the academy. Is that okay with you, Sharon?" asked Mr. Clavell.
"That would be wonderful. It will help the boys see the layout of the building so they know where everything is." said Sharon.
"Excellent. We'll be back in about an hour." said Mr. Clavell. He leads the boys out of the office while the moms started working on the applications. Mr. Clavell shows the boys around the main building. They soon reach a library and go inside. "This is our library. All sorts of books about Pokemon are found here for your convenience." The boys look around in awe of the shelves on books until they looked over at the librarian's desk where they saw a Pokemon that looked like a white and yellow puppy with ears that resemble pastries or bread buns.
"What is that Pokemon?" asked Kenny.
"That young man is a Fidough. It's a fairy-type Pokemon." said Mr. Clavell. The boys walk over to Fidough to get a better look. "If you want to pet him, go ahead." The boys do so and were astounded by how soft and elastic-like Fidough's fur was; like bread dough.
"This feels nice." said Kyle. Mr. Clavell smiles at the boys. The boys look over some books about the different kinds of Pokemon there are for a few minutes until Mr. Clavell beckons them out of the library. They soon reach a classroom where they see a man with dark and light purple hair, black hexagon-framed glasses, purple-striped shirt, a lab coat, purple sweatpants, and white sandals with purple straps on them. The man turns to look at them.
"Hello, Mr. Clavell." said the man.
"Hello, Mr Jacq." said to the man now known as Jacq.
"Is there something I can do for you?" asked Jacq.
"No, I'm just showing four potential new students around." said Mr. Clavell, gesturing to the boys.
"Hello, boys. Who might you be?" asked Jacq.
"I'm Stan Marsh. These are my friends, Kyle Broflovski, Kenny McCormick, and Eric Cartman." said Stan.
"It's nice to meet you boys." said Jacq.
"Jacq here is our academy's biology teacher. He teaches about the biology of Pokemon. He also developed the pokedex app for Rotom Phones." said Mr. Clavell .
"What's a pokedex?" asked Stan.
"What's a Rotom Phone?" asked Kyle.
"All in due time, boys." said Mr. Clavell.
"I also serve as a homeroom teacher. If you'd like, they can join my class; I have room for a few more students." said Jacq.
"That's a wonderful idea. Now if you'll excuse us, we'll let you get back to teaching." said Mr. Clavell. They exit the room and continue to tour the building. They stopped by the cafeteria for a quick snack and to show the boys around. The boys were amazed by how it looked more like a restaurant than a kitchen. Mr. Clavell pointed out there's no menu, instead students can just ask the cooks what you want, and they'll make it for you, much to Cartman's delight. They continue on until they reach what looks like a research lab. They go in and see a woman with a slender body and dirty blonde hair, wearing a two piece crop top and shorts, orange furry stockings, brown sandals, a white lab coat with pink trimming, two hair pieces, a necklace, orange diamond-shaped earrings, and a belly chain around her shorts. Kenny couldn't help but stare at how attractive she looked.
"And this is Professor Sada. She's our leading research scientist." said Mr. Clavell.
"Hello, Mr. Clavell. How may I help you?" asked Professor Sada.
"Just showing these four boys around." said Mr. Clavell. Professor Sada looks at the four boys and smiles at them. Kenny blushes a little bit.
"It's nice to meet you, boys." said Professor Sada.
"Nice to meet you, too." said Stan.
"Wow. You're pretty for a scientist." said Cartman.
"How sweet of you to say that." replies Professor Sada.
"Now if you'll excuse us, we still have a lot to see." said Mr. Clavell. They soon exit the room, except Kenny who continues to stare at Professor Sada, until Kyle comes back in and pulls him out of the room, much to Kenny's disdain.
"Don't worry, dude. Once you become a student, you can see her more often." said Kyle. This cheers Kenny right up.
"Another reason to want to attend this academy." said Kenny. After a few more rooms, they return to Mr. Clavell's office where the boys' moms just finished filling in the boys' applications and paying the tuition fees. Mr. Clavell then looks the forms over.
"Everything appears to be in order. Allow me to be the first to welcome your boys to Naranja Academy." said Mr. Clavell.
"Sweet." said Cartman.
"When do we start?" asked Stan.
"Next Monday. Tomorrow's the weekend." said Mr. Clavell.
"Cool. We get weekends off." said Kyle.
"This gives us time to get you boys school supplies." said Sheila. Mr. Clavell goes into a storage room and brings out four large bags.
"What are those?" asked Stan.
"These are your school uniforms." said Mr. Clavell.
"Oh, okay." replies Stan. After they got their uniforms, the families leave the academy and return to their homes. That night, Stan and his friends were in their beds, staring up at their ceilings, having a hard time sleeping due to the excitement of attending Naranja Academy on Monday. "This is going to be so cool. Soon, my friends and I will become Pokemon trainers. I wonder what kind of Pokemon I'll get. I guess I'll have to wait and see." Stan and his friends stayed awake a few more minutes before drifting off to sleep. Two days later, Stan and his friends were standing in front of their moms in their academy uniforms, which consisted of white dress shirts, orange neckties, orange pants with yellow pinstripes, and black shoes. They also wore black backpacks.
"Don't you boys look precious." said Sheila.
"Do your best boys and study hard." said Sharon.
"We will, Mom." said Stan. Sharon, who was heading to the Naranja Academy to do her job, starts leading the boys there. The other moms watch them leave with tears in their eyes.
"There they go; off to begin their first day at the academy." said Sheila.
"I hope our boys will do okay." said Liane.
"Don't worry. I'm sure they'll be fine. They always get into some crazy mischief and come out just fine." said Carol.
"You're right." said Liane. "All we can do is have faith in them and see where they go from here." They watch as the boys leave to take their first steps towards their new futures as Pokemon trainers.
