To the Paldea Region or Bust
Things haven't gotten any better for the Loud family. While Lincoln was just getting started on his Treasure Hunt assignment, the Louds back in Royal Woods were still miserable. People still wouldn't talk to them because of what they did to Lincoln. The Louds pretty much spent all their time at home doing their usual things without as much enthusiasm as they used to. Lori was an emotional wreck ever since Bobby broke up with her, Leni was miserable because her friends still won't talk to her, Luna was sad because her former band, including Sam, don't want her to be with them, Luan didn't feel like doing any comedy because her heart just wasn't in it right now, Lynn was the most miserable because of the fact that she was the one who started the whole chain of events that led to her family becoming social outcasts, Lucy was constantly in a depressed state which really isn't anything out of the ordinary, the twins were so depressed they didn't even have the energy to fight with each other, Lisa was unable to focus on her experiments because of her depression and she feared it would cause her to make a mistake that could do a lot of harm, Lily was still miserable without Lincoln around, and Lynn Sr and Rita Loud were scared for their futures. They spent a while trying to find a lawyer within their budget and one who would be willing to defend them, but they couldn't find a lawyer who would take their case, especially a hopeless one like theirs. They also tried finding out what to do with their children in the event that they get sent to prison. The only thing they could think of is to send them to live with their Aunt Ruth, which they're pretty sure the girls would be against. Things for the Louds definitely looked bleak and hopeless. For a while, Lisa's been joining online science lectures with foreign countries to be involved in the scientific community because no scientist in Royal Woods was willing to take her seriously. Right now she was in her room going over a list of lecture subjects to join in on.
"Hmmm. Let's see here. Cold fusion? No. Nuclear Science? Did that last time. Quantum Physics? Already know everything about that." said Lisa. "There's got to be something I haven't heard of yet." She continues going through the list until something got her attention. "Hello, what is this? Pokemon? Well that's something I haven't heard anything about." She clicks on the word. She sees a list of researchers on the subject and clicks on one at random. It was a researcher named Professor Sada working somewhere she's never even heard of; a place called the Paldea Region; sometimes at a place that teaches about Pokemon called Naranja Academy, sometimes at a lab in an area north of there called Area Zero. Lisa spent two hours talking about Pokemon with Professor Sada and Lisa was very intrigued by what she's learned. "I must say, Professor Sada, these Pokemon are quite fascinating." said Lisa.
"Yes they are. And the students at Naranja Academy work real hard to become Pokemon trainers." said Professor Sada.
"Do trainers actually have Pokemon fight each other?" asked Lisa.
"Yes, but no need to be concerned. It's a Pokemon's nature to battle." said Professor Sada. "I guess you can say its a trainer's duty of bring out a Pokemon's true potential."
"Interesting. I am very pleased to have this conversation with you, Professor Sada." said Lisa.
"As I am with you, Miss...oh, forgive me, but I never got your name." said Professor Sada.
"Oh, my apologies. My name is Lisa Marie Loud." said Lisa. Professor Sada begins tapping her chin.
"Loud... Loud... Excuse me, but are you by any chance related to a Lincoln Loud?" asked Professor Sada.
"Yes, he is my brother." replied Lisa with a sad expression. "Wait, how do you know about him?"
"He's a student at Naranja Academy." said Professor Sada. Lisa's eyes widen in surprise.
"Wait! He's there?!" asked Lisa.
"Yes. I think I have a class picture from a month ago with him in it on my computer." said Professor Sada. She begins clicking on a mouse a few times. "Ah, here it is." A class picture appeared on Lisa's screen. When Lisa got a closer look at it, she saw Lincoln.
"Ummm. Would you mind telling me where the Paldea Region is? And also where the Naranja Academy is as well?" asked Lisa.
"Certainly. Give me a minute." said Professor Sada. A few seconds later, a map of the world appears on Lisa's screen showing a dot on an island somewhere near Spain and Portugal, along with exact coordinates. Lisa quickly prints out a copy of the map.
"Pardon me, Professor Sada. But something very important just came up so I'll need to end our conversation." said Lisa.
"Very well. It was nice talking to you, Ms. Loud." said Professor Sada.
"Likewise. I learned some very interesting and useful information." said Lisa as she ended the call. After she did, she quickly runs to the living room with her laptop and the copy of the map that Professor Sada sent her. "FAMILY MEETING! I CALL AN EMERGENCY FAMILY MEETING IN THE LIVING ROOM!" she yells. A minute later, everyone gathered in the living room.
"What's the matter, Lisa?" asked Rita Loud. Lisa sets her laptop onto the coffee table for everyone to see.
"Okay. I was just having a talk with a researcher in a place called the Paldea Region. The name of the researcher is Professor Sada. She does research on Pokemon." said Lisa.
"What are Pokemon?" asked Lana.
"Pokemon are mysterious creatures that only exist in very few regions. They don't exist everywhere in the world though. Here's a video clip she showed me of some of these Pokemon that exist in the Paldea Region." said Lisa as she brings up a video file and plays it. Everyone watches the video, fascinated by all the different kinds of Pokemon they saw. They saw Deerlings, a yellow, platypus-like Pokemon (Psyduck), a brown, bear cub-like Pokemon (Teddiursa), and a white, squirrel-like Pokemon (Pachirisu).
"They're so cute!" said Lola as she looked up close at the screen. But then a close-up of a Gyarados roaring makes her leap back into Rita's arms, and Lynn Sr jump and hide behind the couch.
"What is that?!" Lynn Sr and Lola both asked.
"I think that Pokemon is known as a Gyarados. Anyway, the main reason I called for this meeting is because of this." said Lisa as she brought up the class picture that Professor Sada sent her and zoomed in on Lincoln. Everyone was surprised.
"Lincoln?!" everyone said.
"Wincoln! Wincoln!" said Lily as she reaches for the image on the screen.
"Apparently, Lincoln is a student at an academy that teaches students about Pokemon called the Naranja Academy which is located in the Paldea Region." said Lisa.
"So that's the place Lincoln won that scholarship to?" asked Lori.
"It would appear so." said Lisa.
"So Lincoln's been there the whole time?" asked Lana.
"Yes he has." said Lisa.
"I like Lincoln's new outfit. It totes goes with his hair." said Leni.
"I believe that's the academy's uniform since everyone else in this picture seems to be wearing the same thing." said Lisa.
"At least now we know where Lincoln is." said Lucy.
"But where is the Paldea Region?" asked Luan. Lisa pulls out the copy of the map she got from Professor Sada.
"It's located near Spain and Portugal. The Naranja Academy is located at the center of the Paldea Region in a city called Mesagoza." said Lisa.
"So now we know where Lincoln is, someone's got to go to this Paldea Region place, go to that Naranja Academy, find Lincoln, bring him home; then we're all going to apologize to him, especially you, LJ; and hopefully that can help us get started on getting our lives back to the way they were." said Rita.
"We'll all go there. If we apologize to Lincoln together, he might be more likely to believe that our apology is real." said Lori.
"But how do we get there? We can't take Vanzilla because I'm pretty sure it can't travel over the ocean." said Luan.
"And your mother and I can't go for...obvious reasons." said Lynn Sr, lifting a leg up, revealing a house arrest ankle braclet around his ankle. Rita had one around her ankle as well.
"Yeah, dudes. We need like a plane or a boat to get there." said Luna.
"Boat? I think I know someone who can help." said Lynn Sr. He takes out his smartphone. "But it won't be easy explaining the situation to him." As he begins dialing, what he and the rest of the Louds didn't know is that Ronnie Anne was on the porch, kneeling underneath a window. She came there with the intention of pranking one of the Louds by putting marbles underneath the welcome mat so one of the Louds will slip and fall for what they did to Lincoln. Ever since she heard about what the Loud family did to Lincoln she's been doing pranks on them constantly; from putting disgusting things in their mailbox, planting stink bombs in Vanzilla (the Louds really need to get the broken door lock fixed), putting stuff on their front door handle such as grease or super glue, calling their house on a payphone and blaring an airhorn into the mouthpiece when one of the Louds answered, or sending them prank packages (like the ones she sent to Lincoln in that "Crashed Course" episode). She was in the middle of setting up her newest prank when she overheard Lisa saying she found out where Lincoln is.
"Paldea Region. Naranja Academy. Now I know where Lincoln is." said Ronnie Anne. "I got to tell Clyde. Hopefully this will cheer him up. He's been miserable since Lincoln left." Clyde really was miserable ever since Lincoln left. He hasn't really been too enthusiastic about doing things like he used to. His other friends and his dads have been trying to bring him out of his depression, but they haven't made a lot of progress. Ronnie Anne quickly puts the welcome mat over the marbles she put in front of the door, climbs over the railing of the porch and sneaks away from the house. Once she reached the sidewalk, she runs off. A few minutes later, she arrives at the McBride residence and she rings the doorbell. A few seconds later, Harold McBride answered the door.
"Oh, hello Ronnie Anne." said Harold.
"Hello, Mr. McBride. Is Clyde home?" asked Ronnie Anne.
"He's in his room on his bed, still depressed about Lincoln." said Harold. Harold's husband, Howard, walks next to him.
"If only we'd been home that day when the Louds threw Lincoln out." said Howard with regret in his voice. "We have no doubt that after that disgraceful family of his threw him out, he came here."
"We could have taken him in and he'd still be here." said Harold, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Well I have some news that should cheer Clyde up." said Ronnie Anne. "I found out where Lincoln is." Harold and Howard gasped.
"You did?!" Harold and Howard said in unison. Howard turns around.
"Clyde. Ronnie Anne's here." said Howard. Clyde didn't answer. "She knows where Lincoln is." A few seconds later, Clyde runs down the hall from his bedroom at incredible speed and stops at the front door.
"Where is he!? Where's Lincoln!?" asked Clyde, frantically.
"Here's what I found out." said Ronnie Anne, walking into the McBride house. While Ronnie Anne was telling Clyde what she just learned; back at the Loud House, an uncomfortable-looking Luan is walking out the front door, carrying Lily.
"We better wait outside. I don't think you should be hearing some of the words Gramps is using." said Luan. When she stepped on the welcome mat, she slips and falls on her back. Fortunately, Lily lands safely on Luan's stomach, forcing the wind out of her. Lily claps and laughs. The other sisters gather at the front doorway after hearing her fall. Lori sees Lily laughing.
"That's literally the first time I've seen Lily laugh since Lincoln left." said Lori.
"I guess now that we know where our bro is, she's no longer depressed." said Luna. After Luan regained her senses, she and the rest of her sisters look around to see marbles scattered around the porch.
"Who did this?" asked Lola.
"Must be someone who...'lost their marbles'. Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha. Get it?" said Luan, laughing at her pun. "But seriously; OW!" The sisters suddenly hear a flatulent sound, followed by a foul odor.
"Poo-poo." said Lily, causing Luan to shudder. A few minutes later after Luan's fall and after Leonard Loud (aka Gramps) calmed down after hearing about what his son, his daughter-in-law, and granddaughters (except for Lily) did to his grandson, Lincoln; Lynn Sr continued to talk to his father.
"So anyway, Lincoln is somewhere called the Paldea Region and we were hoping you can bring our daughters there to find Lincoln so they can apologize to him and bring him back home." said Lynn Sr.
"As disappointed as I am with what you and your family did to my grandson, especially for a ridiculous reason like superstition, I can tell you're all very sorry and want to make amends. So I'll meet your daughters at Lake Huron in a couple of hours to bring them to this Paldea Region place to find Lincoln." said Gramps.
"Thanks, Dad." said Lynn Sr. He ended the call and turned to the rest of his family. "Okay. Dad said he'd take you girls to the Paldea Region."
"That's great." said Lori.
"Let's get packed quickly." said Luna as she ran upstairs with the rest of the Loud sisters following behind her to pack while Rita changes Lily's diaper and Lynn Sr begins packing stuff for her. As Lori was packing some of her clothes, she decided to make a post of what she and the rest of her sisters were up to; not that she believed that anyone would look at any of her posts after what she and the rest of her family did to Lincoln, but she felt that she should. What she didn't know that some people did read the post with great interest. An hour later, everyone started loading their things into Vanzilla. They also brought other supplies for their journey: diapers and baby food for Lily, gallons of fresh water, food for the rest of the sisters, stuff to fry up fish with if they need to, stuff to keep themselves occupied, etc. Once they were all loaded up, everyone climbed inside Vanzilla, with Lisa's robot, TODD, behind the wheel.
"Now you kids be careful while you're on Leonard's boat. Listen to anything he tells you and stay out of trouble." Rita shouts from the window. She would've told them that from next to Vanzilla, but her home arrest ankle bracelet made that impossible.
"Don't worry, Mom. We'll find Lincoln and be back with him before you know it." said Lori. With that, TODD starts driving the Loud sisters to Lake Huron where they were going to meet Gramps. An hour later, they arrive at Lake Huron. The Loud sisters unloaded their things and brought them out onto the dock. Ten minutes later, they see Gramps' boat approaching them with Gramps on top of it, doing the steering.
"Ahoy, my little minnows!" shouts Gramps.
"Hi, Gramps!" responded the Loud sisters. Once Gramps' boat reached the shore, he hops off and ties his boat to the dock with a mooring line. The Loud sisters run up to Leonard and give him a group hug, who gives them a bone-crushing hug in return.
"How have you been, my minnows?" asked Leonard.
"A little better since we now know where Linky is." said Leni.
"I still can't believe what you girls and your parents did to my grandson." said Leonard, shaking his head while pinching the bridge of his nose.
"We're sorry." said Lola.
"I just hope we can find him soon and hopefully start getting our lives back to normal." said Lori.
"Right after we apologize to him for throwing him out of the house." said Luna.
"And you better especially apologize to him, Lynn!" said Lori.
"I will! I will! So would you get off my back about that?" said Lynn Jr. Everyone walks over to where their things are piled up to start loading it onto Leonard's boat. But just then, a few familiar vehicles start pulling up. Coming out of an SUV was Clyde McBride, wearing a hiking backpack and carrying a yellow tote bag full of food, along with his dads who also had stuff with them. Coming out of a purple car was Ronnie Anne Santiago, also wearing a hiking backpack and carrying a skateboard under her arm. With her is her older brother, Bobby Santiago, who was carrying a duffel bag, and their mother, Maria Santiago. Coming out of a brown van that had a design of a cobra looming over a mountain range was Luna's former roadie, Chunk and her former band, the Moon Goats, including Sam who was wearing a backpack. The Loud sisters were surprised to see them all there and they rush over to meet them.
"What are you all doing here?" asked Lori.
"I know about where Lincoln is and we all saw your post about your plan to go over to that Paldea Region place to look for him." said Ronnie Anne, gesturing to everyone who just showed up.
"How did you know about where Lincoln is?" asked Lana.
"I overheard you girls and your parents talking about finding where Lincoln is back at your house." replied Ronnie Anne.
"You were there?" asked Luan.
"Let me answer you this way. Did one of you slip on your welcome mat earlier?" asked Ronnie Anne.
"Yeah. I almost broke my back." said Luan. "Someone put marbles underneath the welcome mat." She then puts two and two together. "Wait. You did that?"
"Some payback for what you did to Linc." replied Ronnie Anne.
"And are you the one who's been doing all those other pranks on us like putting super glue on our front door handle?" asked Luna.
"Yep." replied Ronnie Anne.
"And sending us those prank packages in the mail?!" asked Lola.
"Like the one that was filled with dog poop?" asked Leni.
"That was me." replied Ronnie Anne with a smirk on her face.
"And blaring an airhorn over the phone?" asked Lynn, digging into her ear with her finger. Ronnie Anne nods. "Some of us are still jumpy whenever the phone rings."
"I don't know whether to be angry or impressed." said Luan.
"I don't care either way." says Ronnie Anne.
"So why are you here?" asked Lynn.
"Me and Clyde want to go with you." replied Ronnie Anne.
"So do I." said Bobby.
"Me, too." said Sam.
"Why?" asked Lori.
"Because I really miss Lame-O." said Ronnie Anne.
"I want to see my best friend again!" exclaimed Clyde, teary-eyed. "And if he made a new best friend at this Naranja Academy, I'm holding you girls responsible!" He stops and tickles Lily under her chin, making her giggle. "Except you, Lily."
"I don't know if that's a good idea." said Lisa.
"I don't care what you or your sisters think, We're all coming with you and the matter is not open to discussion." said Ronnie Anne.
"That's right!" said Clyde. Seeing that Ronnie Anne and Clyde weren't going to change their minds about coming with to Paldea, the Loud sisters sigh in defeat.
"Fine. You can both come with us. But you better not slow us down." said Lynn Jr.
"I got my skateboard with. I should be worried about you slowing me down." said Ronnie Anne.
"Please. It's going to take more than a piece of plywood on wheels to help you keep up with me." said Lynn Jr. Ronnie Anne and Lynn Jr glare at each other.
"I have enough room onboard for a few extra people. I have a few extra hammocks I set up." said Leonard. With Lori and Bobby, they were talking about recent events.
"So we're all going to look for Lincoln?" asked Bobby.
"Yeah." said Lori.
"I still can't believe you and the rest of your family just threw him out onto the streets like that. You're his oldest sister, Lori. You're suppose to look out for him, not put him in danger by throwing him out into the cold, dark world with just a pair of PJs." said Bobby.
"I know, Bobby. And I still literally can't believe that we just did that to Lincoln. I feel terrible about that." Lori said with disbelief in her voice. Bobby could tell by looking at Lori's face that she truly was regretful of her actions.
"I can tell you're really sorry about what you did to Lincoln." said Bobby. Lori looks at Bobby with tears in her eyes. "And maybe...we can restart our relationship if you want to. I really missed being with you." Lori jumps at Bobby and wraps her arms around his shoulders.
"Yes! I really want to be back with you!" said Lori. Bobby smiles and hugs Lori back. With Luna, Chunk, and the Moon Goats. Luna was standing in front of Sam.
"I still can't believe you would do something so-not-cool to your little bro like that, Luna." said Sam.
"I know. What we did to Linc was totally bogus and I'm ashamed of myself for being a part of it." said Luna.
"At least you and your family are trying to make it up to the little guy." said Chunk.
"Yeah. It's the absolute least we can do, Chunk." said Luna. Sam thinks something over, takes a deep breath, and continues to talk to Luna.
"Luna. The band hasn't really been the same without you. And since you're serious about making it up to your bro, maybe you can rejoin the Moon Goats." said Sam. Luna's eyes widen with joy.
"Really?!" said Luna.
"And maybe while we're looking for your bro, we can catch up. I really missed hanging out with you." said Sam with a blush on her face. A blush spreads across Luna's face as well.
"That would be so rockin, Sam." said Luna as she hugged Sam. Sam smiles and hugs her back. As Leni looks at Luna and Sam reconciling, her phone rings. She takes it out of her purse and looks at the caller ID and to her surprise, sees that it was her former friend, Jackie, calling. She pushes 'ACCEPT' and answers it.
"Hello, Jackie?" said Leni.
"Hey, Leni. Me and Mandee saw your sister Lori's post saying that you all found out where your little brother is and your going to this Paldea Region place to get him. Is that true?" said Jackie.
"Totes true." replied Leni.
"So you don't believe he's bad luck anymore?" asked Jackie.
"Definitely. I wish I never went along with kicking him out of the house." said Leni. "When we find Linky, we're going to apologize to him and bring him back home." After a few seconds of silence, Jackie speaks.
"You know, Leni, since it seems you do regret what you did, maybe you can be friends with me and Mandee again." said Jackie.
"Really?! That'd be like totes great." replied Leni. Mandee takes the phone from Jackie.
"And after you get back, maybe we can hang out at the mall." said Mandee. " There's a pop-up sale coming soon, maybe you should get something for your brother, I mean, after what he went through, maybe you guys should do more than just apologize to him."
"You are like, so right. I should suggest that to the rest of my siblings." said Leni.
"Great. See you when you get back." said Mandee.
"Totes. Bye Mandee. Say bye to Jackie for me too." said Leni.
"Sure." said Mandee. Leni ends the call and squeals in delight. Everyone then loaded all their things into Leonard's boat. Leonard unties the boat from the dock and pulls the ramp on board.
"Okay. Is everyone ready?" asked Leonard.
"Yes, Gramps. We're literally ready." said Lori.
"Clyde. We want you to be careful during your trip and make sure to do whatever Leonard says." says Howard.
"And that goes double for you, Ronnie Anne." said Maria.
"We will." said Clyde and Ronnie Anne.
"And Bobby, I expect you to keep an eye on your sister." said Maria.
"Okay, Mom." said Bobby. They then run over to the Loud sisters and join them. Lori looks at her sisters, Ronnie Anne, Clyde, Bobby, and Sam.
"Okay everyone, time to put Operation: Travel to the Paledea Region so we can find Lincoln, have me and my sisters apologize to him, and bring him back home to Royal Woods and think of a shorter name for this operation, into action." Lori says to them. The others cheer in response.
"Wincoln!" cheered Lily.
"And don't you kids worry. I have all the creature comforts here in my boat." said Leonard. Minutes later, the Loud sisters were below deck. Luna and Sam were on a hammock together, Lori and Bobby were on another one, Leni and Lola were on an inner tube, Lucy and Lola were in another hammock, Luan was sitting on a flat crate, Lana and Lisa were on a sack, and Lily was in a cupboard. Lynn Jr was in another hammock while a dried puffer fish was swinging on a string hanging from the ceiling and hitting her on the side of her head repeatedly.
"Ow. Ow. Ow." said Lynn each time the puffer fish hit her.
"You okay, Lynn?" asked Lori.
"Yeah. I've been hit worse during football." said Lynn.
"Horror of horrors. It appears there are no bathrooms on board." said Lucy.
"Oh, you silly sand dab, of course there are." said Leonard, holding out a moldy pail. Almost everyone look at it in horror and disgust. Lana however, jumps up, grabs it and nuzzles and rubs it.
"I'll name him Sloshie Jr." said Lana.
"It's name is actually Frank, but that has a nice ring to it." said Leonard. "Anyway, I'll let you all get settled in." Luan looks at Lori.
"I see that you and Bobby are back together." said Luan.
"Yeah." said Lori as he looks at Bobby with joy on her face.
"And you're back with the Moon Goats, Luna?" asked Leni.
"Oh, yeah. Me and Sam already plan on catching up while we look for our bro." said Luna with a smile on her face.
"And me, Jackie, and Mandee are like, friends again." said Leni.
"I'm taking all that as signs that our lives are literally starting to get back to normal." said Lori.
"And when we bring Lincoln back, maybe all our lives can get back to normal." said Lola.
"We can only hope. We all just need to focus on getting to Paldea and finding Lincoln first." said Lori.
"And Mandee suggested we do more than just apologize to him." said Leni. "After what we did to him, we should do more for him than that."
"Sounds like a good idea to me." said Lori.
"Watch out, Paldea! Here we come!" said Lynn Jr...right before the puffer fish hits her square in the face. "Dang it!" Lynn Jr then pulls the puffer fish out of the ceiling and throws it into a corner. On deck, Ronnie Anne and Clyde were standing on the side of the boat, watching as Clyde's dads, Maria, TODD, Chunk, and the Moon Goats wave goodbye to them. At the steering wheel, Leonard is holding the wheel, looking ahead.
"I really hope we find Lincoln, Ronnie Anne." said Clyde.
"Don't worry, Clyde. We will." said Ronnie Anne. The boat soon moves across Lake Huron. Destination: The Paldea Region.

Authors' Note: So now the Loud Sisters, Clyde, Ronnie Anne, Bobby, and Sam are on their way to Paldea Region to look for Lincoln. We plan on each of them having at least one Pokemon and we're open to suggestions of what Pokemon to get them, so leave some in a review. We can see Lucy getting a Greavard because of Grevard being a ghost-type and the both of them have their eyes covered by their fur/hair. We can also imagine Ronnie Anne getting a Hawlucha because of her love for Lucha Libre.
