The Treasure Hunt Continues
Once they got the notification from the Mr. Clavells that the Treasure Hunts were continuing, everyone started planning what they were going to do next.
"So what are you guys going to do next for your Treasure Hunts?" asked Stan. Lincoln takes out his Rotom Phone and brings up the map of gym locations.
"Well there's a gym in Cascarrafa that I haven't challenged yet. I'll head there next to try and earn my next gym badge." said Lincoln. Naranja Nemona smiles at Lincoln's idea.
"Good thinking. I really want you to earn all your gym badges so we can battle at the Pokemon League." said Naranja Nemona. She and the Uva Nemona then turn to walk away.
"Where are you two going?" asked Stan.
"We made plans to have a practice battle together to prepare for the Paldea League competition." said Uva Nemona.
"That sounds like a good idea. Have fun you two." said Edd. The Nemonas then walk off, leaving the Eds, Lincoln, Stan, Kyle, Cartman, Kenny, and Butters to themselves.
"So what are you guys going to do now?" Lincoln asked.
"Well." Stan began to say. "Before me, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny deal with our 'little problem' tomorrow, we're gonna head for Artazon City and take on the gym there."
"Yeah." said Kyle. Cartman and Kenny nod in response.
"Don't worry, fellas." said Butters. "Trent Boyett did all that stuff to me before but I'm okay now. It wasn't all that bad."
"Thanks, Butters." said Cartman.
"Anytime, Eric." said Butters. Edd thinks for a while before making a decision.
"If it's okay with you, fellows. I want to try taking on one of the Team Star gangs that Cassiopeia told me about." said Edd.
"Why?" asked Eddy.
"Well I still don't approve of Team Star interfering with the educations of our fellow students and I want to put a stop to it." said Edd. "And I haven't even started on that yet."
"So your universe's Cassiopeia wants to take down Team Star also?" asked Lincoln.
"Indeed." said Edd. "I take it the one from your universe wants to take down Team Star also."
"Yeah. Whoever this Cassiopeia person is wants me and my friends' help in taking down Team Star." said Stan.
"Totally." said Kyle.
"So can I take on a Team Star gang, Eddy?" asked Edd.
"Fine. But after that, I want to take on that gym in Artazon also." said Eddy.
"And I want to take on another Titan Pokemon." said Ed.
"Very well. After I take on the Team Star gang, we'll head for Artazon." said Edd. Lincoln turns to Eddy.
"Just so you know, the gym leader in Artazon uses grass type Pokemon, so Crocalor will definitely be a big help." said Lincoln. "And if you have any ice, bug, or flying types with you, they could help also."
"Thanks for the advice." said Eddy.
"And while we're heading for where the first Team Star gang is, we can keep an eye out for some more Gimmighoul Coins." said Edd.
"Gimmighoul Coins?" replied Lincoln. Edd takes out his Rotom Phone and brings up a picture of a Gimmighoul Roaming Form.
"These Pokemon carry coins with them that Eddy is looking for to help his Gimmighoul Chest Form evolve." said Edd. "We're not certain how many coins we need, but we're keeping an eye out for them."
"Okay." said Lincoln.
"So we all have our plans for the day?" asked Eddy.
"Yeah." said Stan.
"Well have a pleasant journey, gentlemen." said Edd.
"Thanks, dude." said Kyle.
"You, too." said Lincoln. With that, everyone leaves to prepare to continue their Treasure Hunts. Ed lets Miraidon out of his pokeball and he, Edd, and Eddy climb onto him. They ride to the east gate of Mesagoza and exit through it and enter South Province Area Two. As they travelled, they took the time to train their Pokemon to prepare them for Ed's battle with the Titan Pokmeon, Edd's battle with Team Star, and Eddy's gym battles. During their training, Ed's Floragato learned U-turn, his Shroodle learned Slash, his Klawf learned Protect, his Flaaffy learned Take Down, much to Ed's displeasure due to Take Down doing harm to the Pokemon that uses it, and his Goomy learned Flail. Edd's Quaxwell learned Water Pulse, Low Sweep, and Aqua Cutter, his Spidops learned Counter, his Bronzor learned Hypnosis, his Swablu learned Safeguard, and his Smoliv learned Mega Drain and Grassy Terrain. Eddy's Crocalor learned Snarl, his Luxio learned Spark, his Murkrow learned Night Shade, and Gible learned Bite. Eddy also kept on lookout for Gimmighoul Roaming Forms for their coins for his Gimmighoul. They soon reached Cortondo where they went to the Pokemon Center where they had their Pokemon treated while they had lunch.
"So you think you're ready to take on Team Star, Double-D?" asked Eddy.
"I'm not sure. But I will do what I can to put a stop to them." said Edd. "They can't go around getting in the way of the education of the students at the academy."
"I'm sure you'll do fine." said Eddy. After they finished eating, they picked up their Pokemon from the Pokemon Center and left Cortondo. They soon arrived at an area known as West Province Area One. As they travelled, Ed spots a yellow, camel-like Pokemon with a hump that was green on top of it. Ed stops Miraidon, hops off him and takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Numel, the Numb Pokemon. The flaming magma it stores in the hump on its back is the source of its tremendous power." said the Rotom Phone.
"Cool." said Ed. He takes out a pokeball. "Goomy, come on out!" He throws Goomy's pokeball and releases him. Numel turned towards Ed and Goomy and faces them. "Use Water Gun!" Goomy opens his mouth and releases a spiral of water out of it and it hits Numel, causing super effective damage. The Numel opens its mouth and unleashes a fireball out of it towards Goomy. "Goomy, Protect!" A green force field appears around Goomy and shields him from the fireball. "Now use Dragon Breath!" Goomy unleashes a light blue beam of energy, and it hits Numel. Numel begins stomping onto the ground with all its legs and shakes the ground, hurting Goomy in the process. Numel then runs at Goomy and rams him. "Goomy, use Water Gun!" Goomy unleashes another Water Gun and it hits Numel, knocking it to the ground. Ed takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at the Numel, hitting it and sucking it in. After it wiggled around a few times, it stops and clicks, indicating its capture. "I caught a Numel!"
"Good work, lumpy." said Eddy. Numel's pokeball vanishes since Ed already had six Pokemon with him. He then uses his Rotom Phone to transfer Shroomish to storage and put Numel in her place. Ed then uses his Rotom Phone to learn more about his new Numel. "Okay. It says my Numel is a boy, he knows Tackle, Growl, Ember, Focus Energy, Bulldoze, Incinerate, and Amnesia. Hey, Double-D, what's the Oblivious ability?"
"It makes it that Numel will never be under the Attract condition, be intimidated or taunted." replied Edd.
"Okay." replied Ed. He lets Numel out of his pokeball. He then pulls a potion out of his backpack and sprays Numel with it, healing his wounds. He then returns Numel to his pokeball as well as returning Goomy to his. Edd looks around the area and sees a Tera Den nearby.
"Oh. A Tera Den. Perhaps there's a Pokemon none of us have." said Edd.
"Let's check it out." said Eddy. The Eds walk to the Tera Den and walk inside and are blinded by a bright light. When the light clears, they look to see a Pokemon that looked like a metal orb with an eye in the middle, a screw on top and a magnet on each side of it. Edd takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the new Pokemon.
"Magnemite, the Magnet Pokemon. It moves while constantly hovering. It discharges electromagnetic waves and so on from the units at its sides." said the Rotom Phone.
"Those magents. This looks like my kind of Pokemon." said Edd.
"You going to catch it?" asked Eddy.
"I believe I will." said Edd as he pulls out a pokeball. He observed Magnemite and saw it had a lightbulb on its head. "I believe this Pokemon's Tera Form is an electirc type, gentlemen." Ed pulls out a pokeball.
"Floragato, come on out." said Ed. He throws Floragato's pokeball and releases him.
"Smoliv, please assist." said Edd, throwing Smoliv's pokeball and releasing him.
"Gible, let's go." said Eddy, throwing Gible's pokeball and releasing him.
"Floragato, use Seed Bomb!" said Ed. Floragato leaps up and releases large, glowing seeds onto Magnemite, damaging it.
"Gible, Sand Tomb!" said Eddy. Gible's eyes glow blue and a sand tornado appears around Magnemite, dealing super effective damage to it.
"Smoliv, Razor Leaf!" said Edd. Smoliv releases leaves from her body and they hit Magnemite. Its crystal skin and lightbulb shatter and it floats around, dizzily. Edd takes out an empty pokeball, enlarges it and throws it at Magnemite. As the pokeball got close to Magnemite, it became crystalized. It hits Magnemite and hits it, sucking it in and falls to the ground. It wiggles around until it stops and clicks, indicating Magnemite's capture. "Splendid. I have captured a Magnemite." Magnemite's pokeball vanishes and is transferred to storage. Edd takes out his Rotom Phone to learn more about his new Magnemite. "Okay. Magnemite doesn't have a gender, it knows Tackle, Thunder Shock, Supersonic, Thunder Wave, Electro Ball, Gyro Ball, and Spark. It has the Sturdy ability which prevents it from being defeated in one hit."
"Cool." said Ed. Edd picks up a few berries and a pearl that were near where the Tera Den was and puts them in his bag. After that, the Eds climb back onto Miraidon and continue travelling up to where one of Team Star's bases is said to be located where Edd hopes to take it down and be one step closer to bringing down Team Star.
