Onward to Levincia
The Eds were currently travelling through South Province Area Two with Eddy looking at his Artazon gym badge.
"That's two gym badges down, six more to go." said Eddy.
"Indeed, Eddy." said Edd. Ed's stomach started to growl.
"Guys, I'm hungry." said Ed. Edd pulls out his Rotom Phone and looks at the clock on it.
"It is about lunchtime. Perhaps now would be a good time to eat." said Edd.
"Well, I don't want to win my next gym badge on an empty stomach." said Eddy. The Eds set up their picnic stuff and made sandwiches for them and their Pokemon.
"What Pokemon do you think Iono will use in your gym battle, Eddy?" asked Edd.
"I saw that video of Lincoln's gym battle with her. She mainly uses electric type Pokemon." said Eddy.
"That means your mostly likely chance of success is to use ground type Pokemon against her. Your Gible should fit the requirements easily." said Edd. "And have your Luxio ready as well, due to electric type Pokemon being resistant to electric type moves, along with her Intimidate ability."
"Good thinking, sockhead." said Eddy.
"Maybe we should take the time to train our Pokemon more to increase our chances of success in our separate endeavors." said Edd.
"Okay." said Ed. Once they finished eating, they packed up their stuff and started to train their Pokemon. Because of the training, Ed's Floragato learned Worry Seed, his Shroodle learned U-turn, his Klawf learned Rock Blast, his Flaaffy learned Electro Ball, his Goomy learned Water Pulse, and his Numel learned Lava Plume and Earth Power. Edd's Quaxwell, Spidops, and Swablu got stronger, his Bronzor learned Safeguard, his Nacli who already knew Tackle, Harden, Rock Throw, Mud Shot, and Smack Down; learned Rock Polish, Headbutt, and Iron Defense; and even though his Smoliv didn't learn anything, something just as good happened. During Smoliv's training, she suddenly froze up and started to glow.
"My word. Smoliv's evolving." said Edd. The Eds gather as Smoliv started to change. When she was done, she was more humanoid with a green dress her head was light green with green leaves on top with two olives sticking out from the sides of them, she had green arms, and slim, light green legs. Edd takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the newly evolved Smoliv.
"Dolliv, the Olive Pokemon, and the evolved form of Smoliv. It basks in the sun to its heart's content until the fruits on its head ripen. After that, Dolliv departs from human settlements and goes on a journey." said the Rotom Phone.
"Remarkable." said Edd.
"Good work, Double-D." said Ed. Eddy trained his Pokemon as well in preparation for his upcoming gym battle. His Crocalor, and Gimmighoul got a bit stronger, his Luxio learned Roar, his Murkrow learned Assurance, his Spoink, who already knew Splash, Confusion, and Growl; learned Psybeam, Psych Up, and Confuse Ray. Although Eddy's Gible didn't learn anything, something just as good happened; she started to evolve.
"Hey! Gible's evolving!" said Eddy. Everyone watches as Gible started to change. When it was done, Gible was taller, her body was longer, she was a dark shade of purple, she arms were longer with fins on her forearms, with blades on her thighs and end of her arms, and a long tail. Eddy takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at his newly evolved Gible.
"Gabite, the Cave Pokemon, and the evolved form of Gible. It loves sparkly things. It seeks treasures in caves and hoards the loot in its nest." said the Rotom Phone.
"She loves gathering loot?" asked Eddy.
"Sounds like your kind of Pokemon, Eddy." said Edd.
"Yeah." said Eddy. They continued exploring the area, while Eddy also kept looking for Gimmighouls and taking their coins from them. As Eddy was searching around trees and rocks for more of them, he hears something running towards him. He turns around and sees a black, bull-like Pokemon with blue waterdrop-shaped markings on the tuft of fur around its neck, three tails, and curved horns pointing up. Eddy takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Tauros Aqua Breed, the Wild Bull Pokemon. It swims by jetting water from its horns. The most notable characteristic of the Aqua Breed is its high body fat, which allows it to float easily." said the Rotom Phone.
"This Pokemon looks strong." said Eddy. "I'm definitely gonna try and catch this one." Tauros digs his front right hoof into the dirt before charging at Eddy, who screams and jumps out of the way. "Hey! You wanna play rough?!" Eddy takes out Luxio's pokeball and throws it, releasing her. Tauros glares harshly at Luxio, making her nervous and tremble. "This Tauros must have the Intimidate ability." All of a sudden, Tauros becomes coated in water, and it flies towards Luxio, crashing into her, and knocking her back. "That must've been Aqua Jet! Okay, Luxio; use Spark!" Luxio's body becomes coated in electricity, and it rams Tauros, doing super effective damage due to it being part water type. Tauros began twitching as electricity was surging around its body. "Sweet! It's paralyzed now! Hurry, Luxio. Use Charge!" Luxio began gathering energy into herself. The Tauros tried running towards Luxio, but paralysis kicks in, preventing it from doing anything. "Luxio, use Thunder Shock!" Luxio releases a large jolt of electrcity from her body and hits Tauros, doing super effective damage and more, thanks to Charge powering up her attack. Tauros collapses to the ground due to exhaustion. Seeing an opportunity to catch it, Eddy pulls out an empty pokeball and throws it at Tauros, hitting it and sucking it in. After a few seconds of wiggling, the pokeball clicks, indicating a successful capture. Ed and Edd run over to Eddy after seeing him capture the Tauros.
"You did it, Eddy!" said Ed as he hugs Eddy.
"Congratulations." said Edd. Eddy watches as Tauros' pokeball is transported to storage. He then takes out his Rotom Phone and exchanges his Spoink for his new Tauros. He also uses his Rotom Phone to look up his new Tauros' information.
"Okay. This says my Tauros is a guy, he's part fighting type and part water type, he knows Tackle, Tail Whip, Work Up, Double Kick, Aqua Jet, and Headbutt; and I know he has the Intimidate ability." said Eddy.
"Sounds like Tauros would make a fine addition to your team, Eddy." said Edd.
"Yeah." said Ed. As they continue to train, Ed was watching something on his Rotom Phone.
"Whatcha lookin' at, Lumpy?" asked Eddy. Edd looks over Ed's shoulder and sees a video of Lincoln battling the Cascarrafa gym leader.
"It seems that Lincoln had his battle against the Cascarrafa gym leader." said Edd. They watch the video and were amazed that Lincoln was able to win with only one Pokemon.
"Whoa." said Eddy. "He only needed that little Pokemon to win against all three of that gym leader's Pokemon."
"Remarkable." said Edd.
"Why is Lincoln holding a baby in his arm?" asked Ed.
"I haven't the slightest idea, Ed." said Edd.
"So now Lincoln has four gym badges?" asked Eddy.
"It would appear so, Eddy." said Edd.
"I really need to get more gym badges." said Eddy. Edd looks up at the sky and sees that it was getting dark out.
"I think we should wait until tomorrow to have your gym battle. It's getting dark out." said Edd.
"Is it dinnertime?" asked Ed.
"I believe some nourishment wouldn't be a bad idea. We've all worked very hard today and earned a meal." said Edd. They all ate dinner and started setting up their tent. Once they were done, they went to sleep. The next morning, they woke up and had breakfast. After that, they packed up their stuff and walked for about ten minutes with Eddy finding more Gimmighoul coins along the way until they reached the city limits of Levincia.
"Finally! We're here!" said Eddy. "Time to become an internet star and get my next gym badge." He runs into the city with Ed and Edd following after him.
