New Pokemon
The boys enter Artazon and start looking around for the gym. While they explore, they try and figure out what Pokemon to use in their gym battle. As Stan goes over the Pokemon he has with him, he looks at the Psyduck, Ralts, and Happiny he had with him. He looks back and realizes he hasn't really trained them that much, mainly because he didn't feel a special connection with them. He then decides to send them to storage.
"Man I need to catch more types of Pokemon for my team." said Stan.
"What's up, dude?" asked Kyle.
"I'm thinking I should try getting more types of Pokemon for my team." said Stan.
"Oh." said Kyle.
"You should try looking around for Pokemon outside the east side of the city."
"What about the gym?" asked Stan. Kyle looks at his Rotom Phone's clock and sees it was around 5 PM.
"I'm not sure that we'll have enough time to do all of our gym battles." said Kyle.
"And the gym isn't going anywhere." said Kenny.
"Aww, man. I don't wanna have to wait." said Cartman.
"If we do Tera Raid battles, maybe you can find something to sell for some money." said Kenny.
"Good point. We can use some more cash after our spending spree at the Delibird Presents back in Mesagoza." said Cartman.
"Thanks, guys." said Stan. As they head for the east part of Mesagoza, they look around at all the sculptures and other sights with interest.
"Whoa. This stuff is neato." said Butters.
"Whoa. They must really like art here." said Kenny.
"I wonder if Lincoln saw this stuff when he was here?" said Kyle.
"He probably did. He's into art and that kind of stuff." said Cartman.
"Yeah." said Stan. They soon exit Artazon and start looking around for Pokemon that Stan could use on his team. They explore the area, hoping to find some Pokemon that could not just help Stan for his gym battle, but the others as well. They soon see a Tera Raid Den and enter it. When they enter the main cavern, they see a brown and purple Pokemon with red, black-rimmed eyes, and blue fins. Stan takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Skrelp, the Mock Kelp Pokemon. Skrelp evades its enemies by hiding among drifting seaweed. It eats rotten seaweed to create its poison." said the Rotom Phone. Stan looks at the Skrelp and sees a crystal skull and crossbones on its head.
"I'm guessing its Tear Form is poison type." said Stan.
"Dude. Lincoln mentioned the Artazon gym leader uses grass type Pokemon, so a poison type would be useful." said Kyle.
"Good call, Kyle. I'm totally catching this one." said Stan as he releases Quaxwell from his pokeball. Kyle releases his Flittle, Kenny releases his Clodsire, Cartman releases his Larvitar, and Butters releases his Tinkatink.
"I'm using Tinkatink because she's part steel which I remember makes her immune to poison type moves." said Butters.
"Smart choice, Butters." said Kyle.
"Okay, Quaxwell. Use Aqua Cutter!" said Stan. Quaxwell swings his wing and releases a blade of water which hits Skrelp, doing more damage than it would've normally done thanks to his Mystic Water.
"Flittle, use Psybeam!" said Kyle. Flittle releases a multicolored beam of psychic energy which hits Skrelp, doing super effective damage.
"Clodsire, use Mud Shot!" said Kenny. Clodsire spits a big glob of mud out of his mouth which hits Skrelp, doing super effective damage, and lowering its speed.
"All right, Larvitar. Use Stomping Tantrum!" said Cartman. Larvitar throws a tantrum and stomps on the ground, releasing a shockwave which hits Skrelp, doing super effective.
"Whoa. Larvitar throws a bigger tantrum than Cartman does sometimes." said Kenny.
"Yeah...HEY!" said Cartman.
"Okay, Tinkatink. Use Metal Claw!" said Butters. Tinkatink jumps at Skrelp and hits it with her hammer. Skrelp sprays a stream of water out of its mouth which hits Larvitar, doing a lot of super effective damage due to him being both rock and ground types which are weak against water.
"Hey! You can't do that to Larvitar!" said Cartman.
"I got this, dude." said Stan. "Quaxwell, hit it with Water Pulse!" Quaxwell releases a blast of pulsating water out of his beak which hits Skrelp, doing enough damage to shatter its Tera Form. Stan quickly takes out a pokeball and throws it at Skrelp which crystallizes as it flies through the air. The pokeball hits Skrelp and sucks it in, then wiggles a few times before clicking, indicating a successful capture.
"You did it, dude!" said Kyle. Stan runs over and picks up the pokeball.
"Yes! I caught a Skrelp!" said Stan. The cavern lights up and the boys soon find themselves back outside. Stan picks up the berries and two bags of Stardust that were left behind. He then takes out his Rotom Phone and looks up his new Skrelp's information. "This says that my new Skrelp is a boy, he knows Tackle, Smokescreen, Acid, Water Gun, Tail Whip, and Double Team; and he has the Poison Point ability which poisons any Pokemon that hits him with a physical move."
"That's cool." said Kenny.
"Yeah." said Butters. Butter tooks the time to train his new Oricorio by having her battle Deerlings and Venonats, and she soon learned Feather Dance. As he trained his Oricorio, he hears something running. He and Oricorio both turn to see a black, bull-like Pokemon with red lines on its mane charging towards him. "Oricorio, quick, use Air Cutter!" Oricorio flaps her wings and unleashes a pair of blue energy blades that form an X and they hit the Pokemon, knocking it back. "What is this Pokemon?" Butters takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Tauros, Blaze Breed, the Wild Bull Pokemon. When heated by fire energy, its horns can get hotter than 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit. Those gored by them will suffer both wounds and burns." said the Rotom Phone. Butters looks to see the Tauros digging the ground with its right hoof while glaring at him.
"Let's catch this Pokemon, girl" Butters says to Oricorio. The Tauros becomes surrounded by fire and charges at Oricorio, ramming her and knocking her back. "You okay?" Oricorio nods. "Okay, use Feather Dance!" Oricorio flaps her wings and unleashes glowing white feathers, and they fall onto Tauros, weakening its attack strength. Oricorio's Feather Dance ability activates, which has Oricorio do Feather Dance again and weakening Tauros attack even further. Tauros charges at Oricorio and rams her, but not doing a lot of damage due to the two Feather Dances weakening its attack strength greatly. "Okay,Oricorio, use Air Cutter!" Oricorio unleahses another Air Cutter and it hits Tauros, causing super effective damage. Tauros becomes surrounded by a light red aura and its muscles bulk. "I don't like the looks of that, Oricorio. Use Peck!" Oricorio flies towards Tauros and pecks it in the head. Tauros drops to the ground. Butters quickly takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at Tauros, hitting it. It gets sucked in, and after it wiggled around a few times, it clicks, indicating Tauros' capture. "Oh boy. I caught a Tauros!" Tauros' pokeball vanishes. Butters takes out his Rotom Phone to learn about his new Tauros. "Okay, this says my Tauros is a boy, he knows Tackle, Tail Whip, Double Kick, and Flame Charge; and he has the Anger Point ability, which powers up his attack strength when he receives critical damage. Boy, that sounds neato." Kyle was riding his Koraidon, looking for more Pokemon when he sees a small beach.
"Dude. This would be a good time to try out your new swimming ability, Koraidon." said Kyle. Koraidon nods and Kyle rides him to the beach and into the sea. As Kyle looks around the sea, a brown and tan fish-like Pokemon surfaces out of the water. "Dude, what's that?" He takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Arrokuda, the Rush Pokemon. Arrokuda can swim quickly only in a straight line. The ones that become sluggish from overeating are the first to be targeted by flocks of Wattrel." said the Rotom Phone.
"Dude. I'm catching this Pokemon." said Kyle. He pulls Floragato's pokeball out of his pocket. "Let's go, Floragato!" He tosses Floragato's pokeball up into the air and releases Floragato onto Koraidon. "Floragato, use Seed Bomb!" Floragato spreads his arms and releases glowing green seeds and they hit Arrokuda, doing a lot of damage to it due to Miracle Seed powering up Floragato's grass type attacks. Arrokuda surfaces and glares at Floragato. It leaps out of the water and jabs Floragato with its snout, causing super effective damage. "I think that was Peck." Arrokuda becomes surrounded by water and flys at Floragato and rams him, but not doing much damage to him. "I think that was Aqua Jet. Good thing water types moves don't work well against grass type Pokemon. Floragato, Magical Leaf!" Floragato leaps up and spreads his arms, releasing glowing green leaves and they hit Arrokuda, dealing super effective damage to it. It floats on the water, trying to swim away. Kyle takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at Arrokuda, hitting it and sucking it in. It falls onto the water and begins wiggling around a few times before it clicks and stops, indicating Arrokuda's capture. "Cool. I caught an Arrokuda." Arrokuda's pokeball vanishes due to Kyle having six Pokemon with him. Kyle uses his Rotom Phone and uses it to transfer Sunkern to storage and putting Arrokuda in her place because he felt he needed a water type Pokemon on his team. He then uses his Rotom Phone to learn more about his new Arrokuda. "Okay. My Arrokuda's a girl, she knows Peck, Aqua Jet, Fury Attack, Bite, and Agility; and she has the Swift Swim ability, which increases her speed when it's raining." After that, they meet up outside Artazon and have dinner. As they ate, they discuss their plans for tomorrow.
"So tomorrow, we go to the airport to look for Trent." said Stan.
"Yeah. We might as well get it over with." said Kyle.
"Agreed." said Kenny.
"I guess." said Cartman. After they ate, they set up their tent and went to sleep.
