Making New Teams
As Lincoln's group, the Eds, Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Cartman, Butters, and Trent make their way back to the Pokemon Center they were at before, they were trying to figure out their next move.
"So what now?" asked Stan. Lincoln looks at his family and friends.
"Well, I promised my family, Clyde, Bobby, Ronnie Anne, and Sam that I would help catch some Pokemon for them." said Lincoln.
"How come?" asked Kyle.
"Well mainly for protection from wild Pokemon if we get seperated from each other." said Lincoln. "And they want to do some Tera Raid battles to get some stuff to sell for money so I won't have to support them. You can imagine what paying for food and hotel rooms for sixteen people, along with supplies for myself would affect my budget."
"That sounds expensive." said Kyle.
"And it will take a while for that wall blocking the road north of Levincia to be taken down. If it's like the last one, it'll be gone tomorrow morning, so I have some time on my hands in the meantime." said Lincoln.
"Perhaps we can assist you in helping catch Pokemon for your friends and sisters." said Edd. "We can't get to that Titan Pokemon until that wall goes down."
"I don't see why not." said Lincoln. "It could make things go a lot quicker."
"So who's gonna help whom?" asked Kyle. Lana walks over to Ed.
"Can I go with this guy?" asked Lana.
"How come?" replied Lincoln. Lana sniffs at Ed.
"I like the way he smells." said Lana. Out of curiosity, Lola walks over to Ed and sniffs him, only to get a repulsed look on her face.
"Holy shamoley! That's the most hideous odor I've ever smelled in my life, and Lana's my roommate!" exclaimed Lola. "When was the last time you took a bath?!" Ed scratches his head in thought, releasing a foul smell from his armpit which drifts over to Lola, making her look like she was going to throw up.
"I forget." said Ed.
"Lower your arm!" said Lola. They hear something heavy being moved behind them and see members of Team Star's Fire Gang pushing the Starmobile that was wrecked after Palafin Hero Form smashed through it during the Star Barrage. Lana walks over to it and examines it.
"What are you doing, Lana?" asked Lori.
"I'm thinking that I can work on this later." said Lana.
"What for, dudette?" asked Luna.
"It's a big vehicle." said Lana. "Maybe we can ride it instead of walking."
"That's a great idea." said Luan. Lana goes over to the Team Star members who were pushing it.
"Is there a garage around here that I can work on this in?" asked Lana.
"There's a big tent over there with some tools in it." said one of the Team Star members as he points to the tent where the Starmobile came out of during the Star Barrage.
"Thanks." said Lana. She looks back at the group. "Can I get some help moving this thing?" Eddy looks over at Ed.
"Lumpy. Do your stuff." said Eddy.
"Okay, Eddy." said Ed as he walks over to the Starmobile. To everyone's surprise, except Edd and Eddy's, Ed lifts it over his head by himself.
"Whoa." said Lynn with awe in her voice.
"Man, he's strong!" said Stan.
"That's nothing." said Eddy. "When Ed was still in diapers, he lifted an entire house over his head."
"No way! You gotta be lying!" said Kyle.
"I assure you that it is true." said Edd. Lynn couldn't help but look at Ed with admiration as he carries the Starmobile over to the tent the Team Star member pointed out. After Ed sets the Starmobile down in the garage, he returns to the group.
"So now what?" asked Lori.
"I can work on the Starmobile later." said Lana. "I want to catch a Pokemon for myself."
"I'll buy all of you some pokeballs first." said Lincoln.
"Which we'll pay you back for." said Lori. Lincoln goes over to the Pokemon Center and buys everyone three pokeballs each. He also got three, free Premier Balls for his purchases as well. After he gives them to his friends and family, they decide on who goes with whom.
"I'm with Ronnie Anne and Clyde." said Lincoln.
"I'll go with your grandfather, Lincoln." said Stan.
"I'll go with Sam and Luna." said Kyle.
"Me and Lana will go with Ed." said Lynn.
"I'll accompany Double-D along with Lola." said Lisa.
"Yeah. At least he seems sophisticated, compared to his friend." said Lola.
"I'll go with these ladies." said Eddy as he points at Leni and Luan.
"I'll go with these two." Cartman says as he points at Lori and Bobby.
"And I guess I'll go with that one." said Kenny as he points to Lucy.
"I'll keep an eye on your baby sister, Lincoln." said Butters.
"Thanks, Butters." said Lincoln.
"And I'll go look around for some Pokemon for my team." said Trent.
"So we're all ready?" asked Lori. Everyone nods in response.
"We'll meet just outside Levincia at around four p.m." said Lincoln.
"I'll bet you're hoping to see Iono there." said Lola with a smirk, making Lincoln blush.
"Just hope she doesn't find out about that Team Star girl kissing you." said Lori, making Lincoln blush even more, and Ronnie Anne frown.
"Anyway, let's get started." said Lincoln. Everyone goes off to find Pokemon. At a part of East Province Area Two, Ed and Lynn were looking around the area while Lana was clinging onto Ed's back, breathing in his stench.
"I could smell this all day." said Lana. They look around until they see a purple, crab-like Pokemon with blue pincers near a tree, munching on berries that it was holding with each pincer.
"Hey, it's a Crabrawler!" said Lynn. Ed takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Crabrawler.
"Crabrawler, the Boxing Pokemon. If it loses its pincers, they'll quickly regrow. The pincers are popular ingredients in paella since their shells produce a tasty soup stock." said the Rotom Phone.
"Hey, big guy. Help me catch that Pokemon." said Lynn.
"Okay." said Ed. Lana jumps off his back while Ed pulls a pokeball out of his pocket. "Go, Goomy!" He throws Goomy's pokeball and releases him. Crabrawler turns towards Goomy and raises its pincers. "Goomy, Dragon Breath!" Goomy fires a light blue beam of energy out of his mouth and it hits Crabrawler, knocking it back. Crabrawler lunges at Goomy while raising its pincer. "Use Protect!" A green force field surrounds Goomy and blocks Crabrawler's attack. "Tackle!" The force field vanishes and Goomy rams into Crabrawler, knocking it back. Crabrawler unleashes mulitple bubbles from its pincers and they hit Goomy, but not doing much damage to him. "Now use Water Gun!" Goomy sprays water at Crabrawler and hits it, knocking it to the ground. "I think you can catch it now." Lynn takes an empty pokeball out of her pocket and throws it at Crabrawler, hitting it and sucking it in. After it wiggled around a few times, it clicks, indicating Crabrawler's capture. Lynn runs to the pokeball and picks it up.
"Woohoo! Crabrawler is mine!" said Lynn. Ed takes out his Rotom Phone and uses it to learn more about Lynn's new Crabrawler.
"This says your Crabrawler's a girl, she knows Vise Grip, Rock Smash, Leer, Bubble Beam, and Protect. She has the Iron Fist ability." said Ed.
"I know what that ability does." said Lynn. "Lincoln told me it makes punching moves stronger."
"Hey, what's that Pokemon?" asked Lana. Ed and Lynn look to see a purple, slimy Pokemon moving around. Ed points his pokedex at the Pokemon.
"Grimer, the Sludge Pokemon. When two of these Pokémon's bodies are combined together, new poisons are created." said the Rotom Phone. Lana takes a deep breath and lets out a relaxed sigh.
"Man, that Pokemon smells so good." said Lana. She turned towards Ed. "Help me catch this Pokemon."
"Okay." said Ed. He returns Goomy to his pokeball and pulls out another one. "Numel, come out!" He throws Numel's pokeball and releases him. "Use Focus Energy!" A red aura surrounds Numel.
"What does that move do?" asked Lynn.
"Makes Numel's next attack stronger." replied Ed.
"Nice." said Lynn. Grimer fires dark brown globs of sludge from its mouth and they hit Numel, but not doing much damage to him.
"Earth Power!" said Ed. Numel becomes surrounded by a gold aura and cracks with gold light coming out of them form on the ground near him and they head towards Grimer, hitting it and dealing super critical damage to it, knocking it to the ground. Lana saw it struggle to get up, so she takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at Grimer, hitting it. It gets sucked into the pokeball and it wiggled around a few times until it clicks, indicating Grimer's capture. Lana picks up the pokeball.
"Yeah! Grimer is mine!" cheered Lana. Ed uses his Rotom Phone to learn more about Lana's Grimer.
"Your Grimer's a girl, she knows Pound, Poison Gas, Harden, Mud-Slap, Disable, and Sludge." said Ed. "She has the Stench ability, which sometimes makes her opponent flinch when she hurts them."
"Cool." said Lana. Ed returns Numel to his pokeball and they explore the area until they came across a Tera Den.
"Let's see what's in there." said Lynn. They entered the Tera Den and encountered a crystallized, metallic Pokemon that looked like an engine that had a crystallized axe on its head. Ed points his Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Varoom, the Single-Cyl Pokemon and the pre-evolved form of Revaroom. The steel section is Varoom's actual body. This Pokémon clings to rocks and converts the minerals within into energy to fuel its activities." said the Rotom Phone.
"Help me catch this one!" said Lana, grabbing Ed's arm.
"Sure." said Ed, pulling a pokeball out of his pocket. "Numel, come out!" He throws Numel's pokeball and releases him. "Numel, Incinerate!" Numel launches a fireball out of his mouth and it hits Varoom, dealing super effective damage. Varoom rolls towards Numel and rams him, knocking him back. "Numel, use Bulldoze!" Numel jumps up and down, releasing shockwaves and they hit Varoom, shattering its crystal skin and axe and reverting it to its regular form. Lana pulls an empty pokeball out of her pocket and she throws it at Varoom. It hits Varoom and sucks it in. After it wiggled a couple times, it clicks, indicating a successful capture.
"Yeah! Varoom is mine!" cheered Lana. The den filled with light and Ed, Lynn, and Lana found themselves back in East Province. Ed sees a few Pearls and berries and picks them up. He then uses his Rotom Phone to learn more about Lana's Varoom.
"This says your Varoom's a boy, he knows Lick, Poison Gas, Smog, Taunt, Assurance, Sludge, and Gyro Ball." said Ed. "He has the Overcoat ability. That protects Varoom from bad weather and powder moves." Ed helped Lynn and Lana train their Pokemon. Soon, Lynn's Crabrawler learned Brick Break while Lana's Grimer learned Mud Shot and her Varoom learned Headbutt. Ed took the time to train his Pokemon also, and soon, his Floragato learned Worry Seed, his Shroodle learned U-Turn, his Klawf learned Rock Blast and X-Scissor, his Flaaffy learned Electro Ball and Confuse Ray, his Goomy learned Water Pulse, and his Numel learned Curse. As they trained, Ed's Shroodle began to glow. "My Shroodle's evolving!" Lynn, Lana, and the other Pokemon gathered and saw Shroodle change. When the glowing stopped, Shroodle resembled a lemur that's mostly black, but dark-bluish gray on the lower half of its body, and big, yellowish green eyes. "I remember seeing this Pokemon on the day I came to Paldea." He takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at his newly evolved Shroodle.
"Grafaiai, the Toxic Monkey Pokemon, and the evolved form of Shroodle. Each Grafaiai paints its own individual pattern, and it will paint that same pattern over and over again throughout its life." said the Rotom Phone.
"This is so cool! And this says my Grafaiai now knows Doodle." said Ed.
"What does that do?" asked Lana.
"This says it makes Grafaiai's ability the same as his opponent's." said Ed.
"So if Grafaiai faces my Crabrawler and used Doodle, his ability becomes Iron Fist?" asked Lynn.
"Yep." said Ed.
"Wow!" said Lana. They then continued to train. Meanwhile with Edd, Lisa, and Lola; they were exploring a part of East Province Area Three.
"So what kind of Pokemon are you hoping to catch for youselves, ladies?" asked Edd.
"I want a cute one!" said Lola.
"I'm interested in any Pokemon as long as I can examine it." said Lisa.
"Very well." said Edd. They soon come across a Pokemon with a steel, orb-like body with one eye, a magnet attached to the left and right sides of its head, and a screw on the top of its head, along with two sticking out from under its eye.
"This Pokemon looks intriguing." said Lisa. Edd takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Magnemite, the Magnet Pokemon. It moves while constantly hovering. It discharges electromagnetic waves and so on from the units at its sides." said the Rotom Phone.
"May you assist me in capturing this Magnemite?" asked Lisa.
"Yes, I shall provide you with my assistance." said Edd as he takes out his Nacli's pokeball and releases him from it.
"What is this Pokemon like?" asked Lisa. Edd points his Rotom Phone at Nacli.
"Nacli, the Rock Salt Pokemon. The ground scrapes its body as it travels, causing it to leave salt behind. Salt is constantly being created and replenished inside Nacli's body." said the Rotom Phone. Edd lets out a chuckle.
"What do you find so amusing?" asked Lisa.
"Nacli is known as the Rock Salt Pokemon, and the first letters in his name are N-A-C-L." replied Edd. Lisa thinks for a second before letting out a small laugh.
"What?" responds Lola.
"NaCl is the chemical equation for salt." said Lisa. Lola looks at Edd and Lisa as they continue to chuckle.
"You two are weird." said Lola.
"Well, I believe I'm about to begin help you capture this Pokemon, Lisa." said Edd.
"Yes." said Lisa. "Please proceed." Edd turns and looks at the Magnemite.
"Nacli, please use Mud Shot!" said Edd. Nacli creates a large ball of mud over his head and launches it at the Magnemite, hitting it, doing super effective damage, and lowering its speed. The Magnemite responds by spinning around and launching itself at Nacli, doing super effective damage to it. "Nacli, use Headbutt!" Nacli leaps at the Magnemite and slams into it, knocking it back. Unfortunately, it doesn't cause it to flinch. Magnemite releases a surge of static electricity from its magnets which passes through Nacli, but doesn't seem to do anything to him.
"What was that move?" asked Lisa.
"I believe it was the move Thunder Wave." said Edd. "It's an electric type move that causes paralysis in just about any Pokemon it's used on, except ground types."
"Is Nacli a ground type?" asked Lisa.
"No, he's a rock type." said Edd.
"Then why didn't Thunder Wave affect him?" asked Lisa.
"My Nacli's ability is Purifying Salt." said Edd. "It makes him immune to status conditions, as well as making him resistant to ghost type moves."
"Fascinating." said Lisa.
"Nacli, use Mud Shot once more." said Edd. Nacli hits Magnemite with another Mud Shot, doing more super effective damage, and knocking it to the ground. Edd quickly turns to Lisa. "Now is the time to capture that Magnemite." Lisa nods and takes an empty pokeball out of her backpack. She throws it at the Magnemite, hitting it, and sucking it in. The pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking, indicating a successful capture. Lisa runs over to the pokeball and picks it up.
"Success. I have capture a Magnemite." said Lisa. Edd looks up Magnemite's information on his Rotom Phone.
"My Rotom Phone says that Magnemite has no gender, it knows Tackle, Thunder Shock, Supersonic, Thunder Wave, Electro Ball, and Gyro Ball. This says it has the Sturdy ability which makes it impossible to knock it out with an attack that would've done so in one shot." All of a sudden, Nacli freezes up.
"What is wrong with Nacli?" asked Lisa. Nacli then starts to glow.
"Nacli's evolving!" said Edd. They all watch as Nacli started to change before their eyes. When he was done, he was larger, his body looked like it was made of multiple cube-shaped brown, light brown, and white-colored rocks; and his eyes were orange. Edd points his Rotom Phone at his newly evolved Nacli.
"Naclstack, the Rock Salt Pokemon, and the evolved form of Nacli. It compresses rock salt inside its body and shoots out hardened salt pellets with enough force to perforate an iron sheet." said the Rotom Phone.
"So that was Pokemon Evolution?" asked Lisa with interest.
"Yes it was." said Edd. "And it appears that my Naclstack has learned Salt Cure which does damage to its target, and it's even more effective against steel and water types."
"Intriguing." said Lisa. They hear Lola gasp and turn around to see her staring at a pink, deerlike Pokemon with a yellow flower on its head.
"It's so cute!" said Lola. Edd points his Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Deerling, the Season Pokemon. Despite Deerling's adorable appearance, farmers consider it a nuisance since it loves plant shoots and will eat them all up." said the Rotom Phone.
"A Pokemon that looks adorable, and can be a nuisance at times?" said Lisa. "That sounds like Lola's kind of Pokemon."
"Hey!" shouted Lola. The Deerling turns and looks towards them. "Double-D! Help me catch this Pokemon!"
"Very well." said Edd. He returns Naclstack to his pokeball, puts it in his backpack, pulls out another pokeball, and throws it, releasing his Spidops.
"Ewww! A bug!" said Lola.
"We should be grateful that Leni isn't here right now." said Lisa. "Leni is terrified of arachnids."
"Spidops! Use Bug Bite!" said Edd. Spidops leaps at the Deerling and bites it, doing super effective damage. The Deerling rushes at Spidops and kicks it two times, but not doing a lot of damage. "Spidops, use Tackle!" Spidops leaps at the Deerling, ramming it, and knocking it down. Seeing it struggle to get up, Edd turns to Lola. "Lola, the time has come to catch that Pokemon."
"You got it!" said Lola. She takes out an empty pokeball from her backpack, and throws it at the Deerling, hitting it, and sucking it in. The pokeball wiggles a few time before clicking, indicating a successful capture. Lola runs over to the pokeball and picks it up. "Yay! I caught a Deerling!" Edd looks at Deerling's information.
"This says your Deerling is a girl, she knows Tackle, Growl, Sand Attack, Double Kick, Leech Seed, and Bullet Seed. She has the Chlorophyll ability which doubles her speed if it's really sunny outside." said Edd.
"Okay." said Lola. They continue to explore the East Province, with Lisa and Lola training their Pokemon as they do. Lisa's Magnemite learned Spark, and Lola's Deerling learned Take Down. They soon come across a Tera Den and enter it. Upon entering, they look around and Lola's eyes widen with delight when she sees a crystallized Teddiursa with a jewel that looked like a heart with wings on it. Edd points his Rotom Phone at the Teddiursa.
"Teddiursa, the Little Bear Pokemon. Its paws are soaked in oodles of honey. When nervous, Teddiursa will lick its paws and soon have a smile back on its face." said the Rotom Phone.
"I WANT IT!" shouted Lola. Edd examines the jewel on the Teddiursa's head.
"Judging by that jewel on its head, its Tera Form is a fairy type one." said Edd. He takes out his Bronzor's pokeball and releases it. "Bronzor, please use Gyro Ball!" Bronzor spins around, then flies towards Teddiursa, slamming into it, and doing super effective damage. Teddiursa responds by releases dark streams of energy from its body, hitting Bronzor, causing super effective damage to it. "Bronzor! Use Hypnosis!" Sleep-inducing waves come out of Bronzor's eyes and enter Teddiursa's, making it drowsy, and soon makes it fall asleep. "Bronzor! Use Gyro Ball once again!" Bronzor hits the Teddiursa with another Gyro Ball attack, doing more super effective damage, and shatters its Tera Form. Lola, remembering Lincoln's Tera Raid battle with Zangoose, recognizes this moment as the opportunity to capture Teddiursa. She pulls an empty pokeball out of her backpack and throws it at the Teddiursa, hitting it, and sucking it in. The pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking, indicating a successful capture.
"Yay! I caught a Teddiursa!" said Lola. The Tera Den illuminates and they soon find themselves back in the East Province. Edd sees a couple of pearls and some berries on the ground where the Tera Den was and picks them up. He then looks at his Rotom Phone at Teddiursa's information.
"This says your Teddiursa's a female, she knows Scratch, Lick, Covet, Fling, Baby-Doll Eyes, Fury Swipes, Payback, Sweet Scent, and Metal Claw. She has the Quick Feet ability which makes her faster if she has a status condition." said Edd. Lola releases Teddiursa from her pokeball and starts hugging her.
"She's so adorable!" said Lola. They soon went back to exploring the area. At another part of the area, Eddy was looking around with Leni and Luan.
"So you're from America also?" asked Leni.
"Yep." said Eddy.
"Why did your parents send you here?" asked Luan.
"Me and my friends set off a massive stink bomb in our neighborhood." replied Eddy. "Anyway, my folks are hoping sending me here will set me straight. It's better than kicking ME out into the streets like your sisters and parents did to Lincoln."
"Look, we're sorry about that." said Luan.
"O-M-gosh! Is that a flamingo?" asked Leni. Eddy and Luan look to see Leni pointing at a flamingo-like Pokemon. Eddy takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Flamigo, the Synchronize Pokemon. Thanks to a behavior of theirs known as "synchronizing," an entire flock of these Pokémon can attack simultaneously in perfect harmony." said the Rotom Phone.
"You have to help me catch that Pokemon!" said Leni.
"Okay, okay, keep your shirt on!" exclaimed Eddy.
"But I'm not wearing one." said Leni. Eddy rolls his eyes and he pulls out a pokeball.
"Okay, Murkrow, let's go!" said Eddy, throwing his pokeball and releasing his Murkrow. "Murkrow, Wing Attack!" Murkrow flies at Flamigo and hits it with one of his wings, dealing super effective damage to it. Flamigo leaps at Murkorw and kicks it two times, knocking him back. "Hit it with one more Wing Attack!" Murkrow flies at Flamigo and hits it with his wing, dealing super effective damage and knocking it to the ground. Eddy sees it struggling to get up. He turns towards Leni. "If you want to catch this Pokemon, do it now!" Leni pulls an empty pokeball out of her backpack and throws it at Flamigo, hitting it. It gets sucked into the pokeball, and after it wiggled around a few time, it stops and clicks, indicating a successful capture. Leni walks to the pokeball and picks it up.
"O-M-Gosh! I, like, caught a Flamigo!" said Leni. Eddy takes out his Rotom Phone to look up Flamigo's information.
"Let's see here. Your Flamigo's a girl, she knows Peck, Copycat, Double Kick, Detect, Wing Attack, Focus Energy, Low Kick, and Feint. She has the Scrappy ability."
"What does that do?" asked Leni.
"Well, normally, fighting type and normal type attacks don't work on ghost type Pokemon, but Pokemon with that ability will be able to hit ghost types with fighting type and normal type attacks." said Eddy. As they look around some more, they see a Tera Den. Seeing a chance to find some stuff to sell for money, Eddy leads Leni and Luan into it. Inside they find a small, dark pink, impish-looking, crystallize Pokemon with skinny arms and legs, along with a purple, masklike marking around its eyes. Also on its head were crystal flowers. Eddy takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Impidimp, the Wily Pokemon. They live in groups, pestering and playing pranks on each other to polish their troublemaking skills." said the Rotom Phone.
"A prankster Pokemon?" said Luan. "Sounds like the perfect Pokemon for me."
"Okay then." said Eddy. "Watch the Man with the Plan in action!" Leni looks around.
"But I don't see Linky around." said Leni, making Eddy facepalm. He takes out a pokeball and throws it, releasing his Crocalor.
"Since that Impidimp has flowers on its head, I'll bet its Tera Form is grass type." said Eddy. "Okay, Crocalor! Incinerate!" Crocalor releases a fireball from his mouth which hits the Impidimp, causing super effective damage. The Impidimp responds by making faces at Crocalor, making him and Eddy mad. "Oh yeah?! Crocalor, use Ember!" Crocalor sprays bits of fire out of his mouth, hitting the Impidimp, doing super effective damage, and shattering its Tera Form. "Luan! Catch it!"
"You got it!" said Luan. She takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at the Impidimp, hitting it, and sucking it in. The pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking, indicating a successful capture. She runs over and picks up the pokeball. "Wow. I really had a BALL. Ha, ha, ha. Get it?" Leni and Eddy groan in response before the Tera Den lights up and they find themselves back in the East Province. Eddy uses his Rotom Phone to look up Impidimp's information.
"This says your Impidimp is a boy, he knows Fake Out, Confide, Bite, Flatter, Fake Tears, Assurance, Swagger, and Taunt. He has the Prankster ability which makes moves that don't cause damage go first." said Eddy.
"I like the name of that ability." said Luan. The Tera Den vanishes and Eddy, Leni, and Luan found themselves back in the East Province area. Eddy sees several pearls and berries and picks them up. As they look around some more, Leni spots a dark pink Pokemon that looked like a berry.
"Hey, like, what's that?" asked Leni. Eddy points his Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Bounsweet, the Fruit Pokemon. A Greedent drawn in by the sweet scent of these Pokémon will tuck the Bounsweet in among the berries in its tail and carry them all away." said the Rotom Phone.
"It's, like, totes adorbs!" said Leni. "I want it!"
"All right, already!" said Eddy, pulling a pokeball out of his pocket. "Let's go, Crocalor!" He throws Crocalor's pokeball and releases him. "Okay, Crocalor, use Incinerate!" Crocalor launches a fireball out of his mouth and it hits Bounsweet, dealing super effective damage and knocking it to the ground. Seeing it struggle to get up, Eddy turns to Leni. "Okay, now you can catch it!" Leni throws an empty pokeball at Bounsweet and it hits it. It gets sucked into the pokeball and after it wiggled around a few times, it clicks and stops, indicating a successful capture. Leni picks up Bounsweet's pokeball.
"Yes! Bounsweet is mine!" cheered Leni. Eddy looks up Bounsweet's information on his Rotom Phone.
"Says here your Bounsweet's a girl, she knows Splash, Play Nice, Rapid Spin, Razor Leaf, and Sweet Scent." said Eddy. "She has the Oblivious ability, which makes her unable to be afflicted with the Attract condition, the Intimidation ability, or Taunt."
"Let's keep looking around." said Luan. They do so and soon come across another Tera Den. They head inside and soon see a crystallized yellow Pokemon that looked like a seed with a sprout on its head, along with a crystal geyser. Eddy takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Sunkern, the Seed Pokemon. It is very weak. Its only means of defense is to shake its leaves desperately at its attacker." said the Rotom Phone.
"Well I like its color." said Luan. "Maybe I'll give it a chance." Eddy takes out his Luxio's pokeball and releases her from it. After being released, Luxio glares harshly at the Sunkern, making it nervous, and lowering its attack strengths.
"I'm guessing that the water spout on its head means its Tera Form is water, so Luxio would be perfect for this." said Eddy. "Luxio, use Charge!" Luxio begins surging with energy which increases her special defense. Sunkern hits Luxio with a medium-sized stream of green energy which hits Luxio and drains her of stamina. "Luxio, use Spark!" Luxio becomes coated in electricity and she rams the Sunkern, doing super effective damage to it, and thanks to the power increase it got from Charge's other effect, Spark was strong enough to shatter Sunkern's Tera Form. Luan takes an empty pokeball from her backpack and throws it at the Sunkern, hitting it, and sucking it in. The pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking, indicating a successful capture.
"I caught a Sunkern!" said Luan. The Tera Den shines brightly and everyone soon finds themselves back in the East Province. Eddy pulls out his Rotom Phone to look up Sunkern's information.
"This says that Sunkern's a girl, she knows Tackle, Growth, Light Screen, Absorb, and Mega Drain. She has the Chlorophyll ability which makes her faster if it's very sunny outside." said Eddy. Luan focuses on training her Sunkern for a while with Eddy's help. Her Sunkern learns Razor Leaf, and Worry Seed. Eddy looks at his Rotom Phone's clock and sees it was almost time to meet up with everyone. They all begin to make their way to Levincia.
