Preparing for Levincia Gym
Early next morning in East Province Area One; the boys woke up and had breakfast. Once they were done, they cleaned their dishes, and packed up their stuff.
"So what should we do now?" asked Stan.
"Well, we could go straight to Levincia and take on the gym there." suggested Kyle. Stan thinks of the Pokemon he had with him right now. He knew that Iono, the Levincia gym leader, mainly used electric types, and some of his Pokemon were very vulnerable to electric type attacks.
"Maybe I should try catching some Pokemon that can handle electric types. We know that Iono uses them, and some of the ones I have with me are weak against electricity." said Stan.
"Good call, dude." said Kenny. "Where should we start looking?"
"How about around here for now?" suggested Stan.
"I guess it couldn't hurt." said Kyle. "Maybe I'll train up my Pokemon also."
"Me, too." said Cartman.
"Same here." said Kenny.
"So will I, fellas." said Butters.
"Maybe I'll look for some Pokemon for myself." said Trent.
"Okay. We'll meet near that tower at ten o' clock." said Stan.
"That gives us four hours to train, and for you to find some new Pokemon." said Kyle.
"Okay, let's go." said Stan. Everyone splits up to do their own things. With Stan, he wanders around in the hopes of finding Pokemon that would give him an advantage in his gym battle with Iono. He soon comes across a Tera Den, and decides to go inside it. When he does, he sees a crystallized, light brown and tan, tumbleweed-like Pokemon with two seeds for eyes inside it. On its head was a crystal light bulb. Stan takes out his Rotom Phone, and points it at the Pokemon.
"Bramblin, the Tumbleweed Pokemon. A soul unable to move on to the afterlife was blown around by the wind until it got tangled up with dried grass and became a Pokémon." said the Rotom Phone.
"Hmm. This Pokemon is part grass type, and they're resistant to electricity. And I'm guessing that light bulb on its head would mean it's Tera Type is electric, which would really help in my gym battle." said Stan. He pulls out his Maschiff's pokeball and releases her from it. After she's let out, her Intimidate ability kicks in, weakening the Bramblin's attack strengths. "Okay, Maschiff! Use Bite!" Maschiff runs at the Bramblin and bites down on it, damaging it, along with making it flinch. "Now try using Headbutt!" Maschiff rams her head into the Bramblin, knocking it back, and making it flinch again. "Now use Snarl!" Maschiff snarls and releases a shockwave, hitting the Bramblin, and dispelling its Tera Form. Seeing this, Stan quickly takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at the Bramblin. The pokeball hits the Bramblin and sucks it in. After a few seconds of wiggling, the pokeball clicks, indicating a successful capture. The cavern lights up and Stan soon finds himself back outside. He uses his Rotom Phone and looks at his new Bramblin's information.
"Okay. This says my new Bramblin's a girl, she knows Defense Curl, Rollout, Astonish, Absorb, Rapid Spin, Bullet Seed, Infestation, and Shadow Sneak. She also has the Wind Rider ability which boosts her speed if she's hit with a wind move, instead of taking damage." said Stan. After he picks up the two pearls, and berries that appeared where the Tera Den is, he continues to look around.
With Kyle, he was training up his Pokemon as well for his upcoming gym battle. He was focused mostly on Floragato and Phanpy, because Floragato was resistant to electric type moves, and Phanpy, because as a ground type, was immune to electric type attacks. Floragato soon learned U-Turn, and Phanpy learned Slam. During the training, Phanpy found a Super Potion, a Nugget and a Big Nugget with his Pickup ability. Kyle kept the regular Nugget for himself but gave the Big Nugget to Trent.
Cartman focused mostly on training his Larvitar because he was part ground, so he was immune to electric type moves. He also trained his Crocalor, and the Pichu he had with him, just in case. During the training, his Larvitar learned Screech and Smackdown, his Crocalor learned Snarl, and his Pichu, which already knew Tail Whip, Thunder Shock, Play Nice, and Sweet Kiss; learned Nuzzle, Nasty Plot, and Charm. Also, during the training, his Pichu started to evolve.
"Sweet!" said Cartman as he watched his Pichu start to change. After she was done evolving, she was bigger, her ears were longer and skinnier, and her tail was shaped like a lightning bolt with two curves at the end of it. "Yes! A Pikachu!" said Cartman as he takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at his newly evolved Pikachu.
"Pikachu, the Mouse Pokemon, and the evolved form of Pichu. When it is angered, it immediately discharges the energy stored in the pouches in its cheeks." said the Rotom Phone.
"Kewl!" said Cartman. "This says you now know Quick Attack, Thunder Wave, Double Team, Electro Ball, Feint, Spark, and Agility. And you also have the Static ability which could paralyze any Pokemon that hits you with a physical attack" He then continues to prepare for his upcoming gym battle.
Kenny trained his Pokemon also, but mostly Clodsire and Capsakid due to them having an advantage over electric Pokemon.
Butters trained his Pokemon as well. He focused mostly on Skiddo due to grass type Pokemon being resistant to electric type moves and Mudbray since he was immune to electric type moves. During the training, Butter's Skiddo learned Take Down, and his Mudbray learned Strength, and Counter.
As Stan continues to explore the area, he sees a beach nearby and decides to check it out. He soon notices a small mound of sand with a shovel stuck into it. When he got close, it turns around, revealing that it was in fact a Pokemon. Out of curiosity, Stan pulls out his Rotom Phone, and points it at the new Pokemon.
"Sandygast, the Sand Heap Pokemon. If it loses its shovel, it will stick something else— like a branch—in its head to make do until it finds another shovel." said the Rotom Phone. Stan looks at more information about it.
"This says you're part ground type, which can really help me in my gym battle in Levincia." said Stan as he pulls out a pokeball and throws it, releasing his Skrelp. "Okay, Skrelp. Use Water Gun!" Skrelp releases a strong stream of water from his mouth, and it hits the Sandygast, doing super effective damage. The Sandygast's body suddenly starts to firm up. It then releases a green stream of energy out of its mouth, hitting Skrelp, and drains a lot of stamina from it. "Uh oh. That was Mega Drain. Skrelp, hit it with another Water Gun!" Skrelp hits the Sandygast with another Water Gun, but this time, it doesn't seem to do as much damage as before. Stan then quickly pulls out a pokeball and throws it at the Sandygast, hitting it, and sucking it in. After some wiggling, the pokeball clicks, indicating a successful caputre. Stan then walks over and picks up the pokeball. "Yes! I caught a Sandygast." Stan then looks up his new Sandygast's information. "This says that my new Sandygast is a girl, in addition to being part ground type, she's also part ghost type; she knows Absorb, Harden, Astonish, Sand Tomb, Mega Drain, and Sand Attack. She has the Water Compaction ability which increases her defense if she's hit with a water attack."
Meanwhile with Trent, he was training his Pokemon. His Mankey learned Cross Chop, his Basculin learned Scary Face and Headbutt, his Axew learned Dragon Claw and Scary Face, and his Houndour got a bit stronger. They all met up at the tower they agreed to meet at some time later and told each other about their progress.
"Do you think we're ready for Iono?" asked Stan.
"I think so, dude." said Kyle.
"Let's head for Levincia and get our Pokemon treated; after that, we'll take on Iono." said Stan.
"Well let's go then!" said Cartman. "The sooner we do our gym battle, the sooner we can all be in one of Iono's livestream videos!"
"Hey, yeah!" said Stan.
"I can't wait!" said Kenny.
"Me, too." said Butters. Everyone got onto their Koraidons and rode north until they finally reached their destination: Levincia.
