Levincia Gym Battles (Part One)
As the boys enter Levincia, they see Ed, Edd, and Eddy at a Pokemon Center.
"Hey, guys." Stan says to them.
"What are you doing here?" asked Kyle.
"Check this out." said Eddy as he pulls out his badge case, opens it, and shows them his Levincia Gym Badge.
"You beat Iono?" asked Kenny.
"You bet I did." said Eddy.
"Well we're challenging her next." said Cartman.
"I wish you luck, gentlemen." said Edd.
"Thanks, dude." said Stan. He and his friends look around Levincia until they find the Pokemon League building. They head inside and walk over to the front desk where a female receptionist was sitting.
"Hello." said the receptionist. "How may I help you?"
"Hi. We're here to challenge Iono to a Gym Battle." said Stan.
"Very well." said the receptionist. "I'll need your information first, please." Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Cartman, and Butters give the receptionist the information they needed. Once she puts it into her computer, she looks back at the boys. "Okay. Your Gym Test is to be in one of Iono's livestream videos."
"We know." said Stan.
"We've seen the video of our friend doing his Gym Test." said Kyle.
"Very well." said the receptionist. "Who wants to go first?" Cartman runs in front of everyone.
"Me, me, me, me, me, me, me!" said Cartman.
"Okay, then." replied the receptionist. "Just go outside to start your Gym Test."
"Sweet." said Cartman. He walks past everyone, and heads towards the front doors. "Time to become an online sensation." As soon as he steps outside, he hears Iono's voice call out.
"Ladies aaand gentlemens! It's time for the Iono Zone!" said Iono's voice. Cartman looks around and sees himself on one of the large video monitors around the city. Also on the screen was a girl with long, blue and pink hair that had some of it tied into a bow in front of her head, a large yellow and black sweater with an icon that looks like a play button with a lightning bolt going into it, she was also wearing a silver outfit under it, along with one silver legging, and more noticeably, two hair accessories that look like Magnemites with smaller magnets. "Hey, hey, hey! Your eyeballs are MINE! Caught in my Electroweb! Whosawhatsit? Iono! 'Ello, 'ello, hola! Ciao, and bonjour!"
"'Ello, 'ello, hola! Ciao, and bonjour!" said Cartman as he waves at the camera.
"Oh. So, you're a master of Iono-ese, huh?" said Iono.
"That's right!" said Cartman.
"That's so awesome." said Iono. "Anyway, for your Gym Test, I need you to help me get more viewers for my channel, so I'll need you to do a game called 'Where in Levincia is Iono?'."
"Kewl." said Cartman. He then hears the sounds of approaching footsteps from his left, and he turns to see another Iono, whose eyes widen when she sees him.
"Hey! You're one of my Linky's friends, right?" asked the Iono we'll refer to as the Naranja Iono.
"That's right." said Cartman.
"I remember you from when you, Linky, and your other friends took on that Titan Pokemon!" said Naranja Iono. "So anyway, you'll be using Levinicia's cameras to try and find me." Just then, Cartman's Rotom Phone chimed. He pulls it out and sees he now had access to the city's surveillance cameras.
"Sweet!" said Cartman.
"So all you have to do is find me three times. If you can, you'll pass your Gym Test." said Naranja Iono.
"That's easy!" said Cartman. After that, Naranja Iono runs off somewhere to start the Gym Test. Cartman uses the city's surveillance cameras to find Iono, which was pretty easy, considering her hair and outfit made her stand out. Every time he finds her, a trainer comes out to battle him. He manages to beat each trainer that does so. After finding Naranja Iono a third time, the Uva Iono appears on the screen.
"Hey, everybody!" said Uva Iono. "Me and the other Iono's subscriber numbers are on the rise!"
"Not surprised, considering that I am pretty kewl." said Cartman.
"Anyway, you passed your Gym Test! Woohoooo!" said Uva Iono. "Just hit up my lobby staff, and they'll tell you where to go for your gym battle with me!"
"Kewl!" said Cartman. He then enters the Pokemon League building's lobby where his friends were waiting for him.
"Good work, Cartman!" said Stan.
"So, you saw me pass my Gym Test?" asked Cartman. Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Butters, and Trent, all held out their Rotom Phones.
"You were being livestreamed on Iono's video channel." said Kyle.
"Sweet!" said Cartman. He then walks past the others and up to the lobby's desk.
"Congratulations on passing your Gym Test, young man." said the receptionist.
"Thank you." said Cartman. Just then, his Rotom Phone chimed, making him look at it to see a map of Levinicia with a dot on a round platform.
"That spot on your map is the location of where you'll be having your gym battle." said the receptionist.
"Awesome." said Cartman. He walks past the others and out of the building. He then heads over to the location he was given and soon comes to a stage that was over a river where Uva Iono was waiting for him.
"Hi!" said Uva Iono.
"Hey, Iono!" said Cartman. Just then, Uva Iono's Rotom Phone flies out of one of her sleeves and floats in front of her.
"Ladies aaand gentlemens! It's time for the Iono Zone!" said Uva Iono. "Hey, hey, hey! Your eyeballs are MINE! Caught in my Electroweb! Whosawhatsit? Iono! 'Ello, 'ello, hola! Ciao, and bonjour!" Her Rotom Phone moves to a position so that she and Cartman were both in the picture. Cartman looks around at the screens surrounding the stage and sees himself and Iono on them all.
"Sweet! I'm in one of Iono's videos!" said Cartman as he poses for the cameras.
"My next challenger is soaring high like a Wattrel! Iiiitttt's Cartman! Yaaay!" said Uva Iono. She then walks up to Cartman and stands next to him. "So how are you doing today?"
"I'm doing awesome!" said Cartman. "I'm actually in one of your videos!"
"Looks like we got an energetic one, here!" said Uva Iono. "You'd make a gnarly influencer!"
"I know! I'm just so awesome!" said Cartman.
"Well let's see how good you are in a gym battle!" said Uva Iono.
"Bring it on! I'm ready!" said Cartman.
"We'll see!" said Uva Iono. She then walks over to one side of the stage and turns to face Cartman. A digital face appears on one of the screens.
"This is an official gym battle between Iono, the gym leader, and Cartman, the challenger." said the digital face. "Each side will use four Pokemon. The battle will end when one trainer's pokemon are unable to battle. Let the battle begin." Cartman and Uva Iono each pull out a pokeball.
"Wattrel, you're on!" said Uva Iono, throwing her pokeball and releasing a black, light gray, and yellow birdlike Pokemon. Cartman takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Wattrel, the Storm Petrel Pokemon. When its wings catch the wind, the bones within produce electricity. This Pokémon dives into the ocean, catching prey by electrocuting them." said the Rotom Phone.
"Pikachu! Come on out!" said Cartman as he throws his Pikachu's pokeball, releasing her from it.
"Awww! Your Pikachu is so cute!" said Uva Iono. "Too bad that won't protect her from my Wattrel!"
"Bring it on!" said Cartman. "Pikachu, use Quick Attack!"
"You too, Wattrel!" said Uva Iono. Pikachu and Wattrel leap at each other at fast speeds and collide in mid-air, knocking each other back. Suddenly, Wattrel started to twitch uncontrollably.
"Ha, Ha!" said Cartman. "My Pikachu has the Static ability. That means your Wattrel's paralyzed because it hit Pikachu with a physical attack!"
"Uh oh." said Uva Iono with a worried expression on her face.
"Pikachu, use Spark!" said Cartman. Pikachu runs at Wattrel while coated in electricity and slams into it, knocking it back. "Good thing Wattrel's part flying type; otherwise it would've been resistant to that.
"Hurry, Wattrel! Use Roost!" said Uva Iono. Wattrel tried doing so, but paralysis kicks in, preventing it from using the move.
"Okay, Pikachu! Use Electro Ball!" said Cartman. A ball of electricity forms over Pikachu's tail and she launches it at the Wattrel, hitting it with enough force to knock it out.
"Wattrel's unable to battle. Pikachu is the winner." said the digital face.
"Sweet!" said Cartman. Uva Iono returns her Wattrel to its pokeball.
"You were awesome, Wattrel." said Uva Iono. She then puts Wattrel's pokeball away and pulls out another one. She then throws it, releasing a green, froglike Pokemon. Cartman points his Rotom Phone at it.
"Bellibolt, the EleFrog Pokemon. When this Pokémon expands and contracts its wobbly body, the belly-button dynamo in its stomach produces a huge amount of electricity." said the Rotom Phone.
"Okay, Bellibolt! Use Mud Slap!" said Uva Iono. Bellibolt launches a glob of mud which hits Pikachu in her face, doing super effective damage, and lowers her accuracy.
"Oh, yeah?!" replied Cartman. "Pikachu, use Quick Attack!" Pikachu charges at Bellibolt at fast speed, but runs past it.
"Okay, Bellibolt! Use Water Gun!" said Cartman. Bellibolt turns around and sprays a large stream of water at Pikachu, hitting her.
"Pikachu, use Spark!" said Cartman. Pikachu uses Spark and manages to hit Bellibolt with it, but doesn't do a lot of damage, thanks to Bellibolt being an electric type. Suddenly, Bellibolt starts to surge with energy.
"Looks like you activated Bellibolt's Electromorphosis ability!" said Uva Iono.
"Uh oh." said Cartman. "That means that since Bellibolt just took some damage, its next attack is stronger if it's an electric type one."
"I see you know your stuff!" said Uva Iono.
"Yeah. I saw Lincoln's gym battle with the other Iono." said Cartman.
"Oh." replied Uva Iono. "Okay, Bellibolt! Use Spark!" Bellibolt's body becomes coated in electricity and it slams into Pikachu, not doing a lot of damage; but thanks to Electromorphosis, it was strong enough to knock Pikachu out.
"Pikachu is unable to battle. Bellibolt is the winner." said the digital face.
"Yaay! Good work, Bellibolt!" said Uva Iono. Bellibolt bounces with joy. Cartman returns Pikachu to her pokeball.
"You were pretty cool out there, Pikachu." said Cartman. He then puts Pikachu's pokeball away and pulls out another one.
"So what will you do now?" asked Uva Iono.
'I was hoping I wouldn't have to use this Pokemon so soon in the battle, but I really should save Larvitar for Iono's stronger Pokemon.' Cartman thinks to himself. He throws his pokeball, releasing his Gyarados.
"You do realize that I use electric types, right?" asked Uva Iono. "So why use a Pokemon that's extremely weak against electric type moves?" Gyarados' eyes suddenly glowed red and he harshly stares at Bellibolt, making it nervous.
"My Gyarados has the Intimidate ability; so that should weaken Bellibolt's electric type moves a little bit." said Cartman.
"Do you think that'll make much of a difference?" asked Uva Iono.
"We'll just have to see for ourselves." said Cartman. "Gyarados, use Ice Fang!" Gyarados' teeth become coated in ice as he lunges at Bellibolt and bites down on it. Once again, Bellibolt's Electromorphosis ability activates, powering it up.
"Bellibolt, use Spark!" said Uva Iono. Bellibolt hits Gyarados with a Spark attack, doing a lot of super effective damage. Thankfully, its attack power was weakened enough by Gyarados' Intimidate ability, so it wasn't enough to knock him out.
'At least Gyarados is still able to battle.' Cartman thinks to himself. 'Now's a good time to use this attack.'
"So what now?" asked Uva Iono.
"Just this." said Cartman. "Gyarados, use Flail!" Gyarados starts flailing around, his body hits Bellibolt, sending it flying across the stage, and lands in front of Uva Iono, unconscious.
"Bellibolt is unable to battle. Gyarados is the winner." said the digital face.
"Kewl!" said Cartman. Uva Iono returns her Bellibolt to its pokeball.
"You did awesome, Bellibolt!" said Uva Iono. She puts her Bellibolt's pokeball away and pulls another one out of one of her sweater sleeves. She throws it, releasing a blue, four-legged Pokemon with the back half of its body covered and most of its head covered in black fur, two yellow stripes on both of its front ankles, and a four-pointed star at the end of its tail. Cartman pulls out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Luxio, the Spark Pokemon, and the evolved form of Shinx. Strong electricity courses through the tips of its sharp claws. A light scratch causes fainting in foes." said the Rotom Phone. The Luxio's eyes suddenly glowed red, and it stares harshly at Gyarados, making him nervous.
"Uh oh. Luxio has the Intimidate ability." said Cartman.
"That's right." said Uva Iono. "Luxio, use Spark!" Luxio runs at Gyarados and hits him with a Spark attack, doing enough damage to knock him out.
"Gyarados is unable to battle. Luxio is the winner." said the digital face.
"Yay! Good job, Luxio!" said Uva Iono. Cartman returns Gyarados to his pokeball.
"Sorry, Gyarados." said Cartman. He puts Gyarados' pokeball away and pulls out another one. He throws it, releasing his Larvitar. "Larvitar, use Stomping Tantrum!" Larvitar starts stomping around, sending shockwaves through the ground at Luxio, hitting it, and doing super effective damage.
"Luxio, use Bite!" said Uva Iono. Luxio jumps at Larvitar and bites him.
"Larvitar, use Rock Slide!" said Cartman. Larvitar summons large rocks and drops them onto Luxio, doing enough damage to knock it out.
"Luxio is unable to battle. Larvitar is the winner." said the digital face.
"That was so cool, Larvitar!" said Cartman. Larvitar turns towards him and smiles. Uva Iono returns her Luxio to its pokeball.
"You were awesome, Luxio!" said Uva Iono. She puts her Luxio's pokeball away and pulls out her last one. "Hope you're ready for this one!"
"Bring it on!" said Cartman. Uva Iono smirks as she throws her pokeball, releasing a purple ghost-like Pokemon that looked like it was wearing a cloak, and witch's hat. It also had three jewels on its chest. Cartman points his Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Mismagius, the Magical Pokemon, and the evolved form of Mismagius. Its cry sounds like an incantation. It is said the cry may rarely be imbued with happiness-giving power." said the Rotom Phone. Uva Iono then reaches into her collar and pulls out a Tera Orb.
"I know what this means." said Cartman. Uva Iono throws her Tera Orb over her Mismagius' head, making crystals appear around it. The crystals shatter, showing that Mismagius' body was crystallized and that it has a crystal light bulb on its head.
"Mismagius, use Magical Leaf!" said Uva Iono. Mismagius releases a barrage of glowing green leaves at Larvitar, hitting him, and doing super effective damage.
"Ahhh!" Cartman replied. "Larvitar, use Stomping Tantrum!" Larvitar once more stomps around, sending shockwaves through the ground, towards Mismagius; but to Cartman's shock, they go right under Mismagius, leaving it completely unharmed.
"My Mismagius has the Levitate ability." said Uva Iono. "That mean ground type attacks won't work on it."
"Damn it!" said Cartman, shocking Uva Iono.
"Hey! Watch the language! Some of my viewers are little kids!" said Uva Iono.
"Whatever." said Cartman.
"Well maybe this will teach you some manners!" said Uva Iono. "Mismagius, use Phantom Force!" Mismagius sinks into a portal that appears beneath it.
"Where is it?!" asked Cartman. Suddenly, Mismagius appears behind Larvitar and strikes him from behind, knocking him to the ground. Larvitar struggles to get up.
"Looks like your Larvitar is almost done." said Uva Iono.
"Oh yeah?!" said Cartman. "Larvitar, use Smack Down!" Larvitar quickly jumps up and slams a rock down onto Mismagius' head, sending her plummeting to the ground. "Yes! Smack Down makes flying type Pokemon, and ones with the Levitate ability, vulnerable to ground type moves."
"Clever! But I doubt your Larvitar will be able to get the chance to use one after this." said Uva Iono. "Mismagius, one more Magical Leaf!" Mismagius hits Larvitar with another Magical Leaf attack, this time it knocks Larvitar out.
"Larvitar is unable to battle. Mismagius is the winner." said the digital face.
"Yaay! Way to go, Mismagius!" said Uva Iono. Mismagius does a curtsy in response. Cartman returns Larvitar to his pokeball.
"You did good, Larvitar." said Cartman. He puts Larvitar's pokeball away and pulls out his last one. He then throws it, releasing his Crocalor.
"You're down to your last Pokemon, Cartman!" said Uva Iono.
"And he'll be enough to win this!" said Cartman as he pulls out his Tera Orb, surprising Uva Iono.
"You have a Tera Orb?!" asked Uva Iono.
"You bet your ass I do." said Cartman.
"I said watch the language!" said Uva Iono.
"Whatever." said Cartman as he throws his Tera Orb at Crocalor, making crystals appear around him. They shatter, showing Crocalor with crystallized skin, along with a crystal candelabra on his head. "Crocalor, use Snarl!" Crocalor snarls, releasing a soundwave which hits Mismagius, damaging her, and lowering her special attack power.
"Mismagius, use Power Gem!" said Uva Iono. Mismagius releases a beam of sparkling light from her center chest jewel which hits Crocalor, doing super effective damage. Fortunately, Crocalor was able to handle it, due to Mismagius' special attack power being weakened by Snarl.
"Crocalor, use Bite!" said Cartman. Crocalor jumps at Mismagius and bites down on it, hurting it, as well as making it flinch. "Now use Incinerate!" Crocalor's candelabra flares up as he releases a fireball from his mouth, powering it up. The attack hits Mismagius, doing more damage than it normally would have.
"We're not giving up!" said Uva Iono. "Mismagius, use another Power Gem!" Mismagius hits Crocalor with another Power Gem attack, doing more super effective damage, and knocking him down. As Crocalor struggles to get to his feet, a red aura covers his body.
"Yes! Crocalor's Blaze ability activated!" said Cartman.
"Uh oh!" said Uva Iono.
"You better believe it!" said Cartman. "Crocalor, use Incinerate one more time!" Crocalor releases another Incinerate attack, hitting Mismagius, and thanks to it being powered up by his Tera Form and Blaze ability, it was too much for Mismagius to handle and its Tera Form shatters as it falls to the ground unconscious.
"Mismagius is unable to battle. Crocalor is the winner. That means the winner of the gym battle is the challenger, Cartman." said the digital face.
"Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet!" said Cartman. He runs over to Crocalor and hugs him. "You kicked ass, Crocalor!" Crocalor smiles in response. Uva Iono returns Mismagius to its pokeball.
"You were awesome, Mismagius." said Uva Iono. Her Rotom Phone flies out of her pocket as she walks over next to Cartman. "Well, everyone; I hate to say it, but I lost! And I apologize for my challenger's language during the battle. I do not, in any way, condone it."
"Whatever." said Cartman.
"And what does my challenger get for defeating me? The lean, mean, streamin' queen?" asked Uva Iono as she pulls a gym badge with a lightning bolt on it out of her sleeve. "A Levincia Gym Badge! Yaaay!" She then hands the gym badge, along with some pokedollars, to Cartman.
"Kewl!" said Cartman as he accepts them.
"How about a picture together to save this moment?" asked Uva Iono. Cartman responds by doing a pose, making Uva Iono do a pose as well. They take a picture and Cartman heads back to the Pokemon League building to meet up with his friends.
"Well guys, I got my Levincia gym badge!" said Cartman.
"Cool." said Kyle.
"Way to go, Eric!" said Butters. Trent steps forward and holds out his open hand. Remembering his punishment, Cartman groans as he gives Trent half the pokedollars he just got from Uva Iono.
"So who's next?" asked the receptionist. Kyle steps forward.
"I'm up next." said Kyle.
"Very well." said the receptionist. "Just step outside."
"You got it." said Kyle.
"Do your best, Kyle." said Stan.
"You got it, dude." said Kyle. He then turns and walks toward the front doors. Can Kyle, Stan, Kenny, and Butters keep the momentum going and earn their Levincia gym badges? You'll just have to wait and find out.
