Touring the Academy
In Cascarrafa, Ronnie Anne was continuing to pull Lincoln along.
"Hey, Linc. Where do you need to go now?" asked Ronnie Anne.
"Well, I need to get to a Pokemon Center to get my Pokemon treated." said Lincoln.
"Is there one on the way to Mesagoza?" asked Ronnie Anne.
"I think there's one just south of Cascarrafa. It's a few minutes away." said Lincoln.
"Okay, let's go." said Ronnie Anne as she pulled Lincoln towards the south exit of Cascarrafa. The other Louds, Bobby, Clyde, and Sam were following after Lincoln and Ronnie Anne.
"Man. I've never seen Ronnie Anne like this." said Bobby.
"Maybe it's the fact that two other girls seem to like Lincoln and she considers them love rivals?" said Luna with a smirk.
"Yeah. She's definitely jealous." said Lynn.
"Let's just hurry and catch up with them." said Lori. A few minutes later, Lincoln and Ronnie Anne reach the Pokemon Center and gives the nurse there his Pokemon.
"I'll heal your Pokemon right away." said the nurse.
"Thank you, ma'am." said Lincoln. Soon, everyone else catches up with them.
"It's about time you two stopped." said Lola. Bobby sees that Ronnie Anne was still holding Lincoln's hand and smirks, which Ronnie Anne notices.
"What, Bobby?" asked Ronnie Anne.
"I think you can let go of Lincoln's hand now." said Bobby as he points at Lincoln and Ronnie Anne's hands. Ronnie Anne looks and sees she was still holding Lincoln's hand and quickly let's go with a blush on her face. Lincoln also blushes a little, making his sisters and Leonard chuckle.
"So, what's this place, Linky?" asked Leni.
"A Pokemon Center. It's a facility that specializes in healing Pokemon." replied Lincoln. "They also sell things that Pokemon trainers need." He then walks to the PokeMart and pulls a Pearl out of his backpack. A shocked look appeared on Lola's face.
"Is that one of those Big Pearls you told us about?" asked Lola.
"Oh no, this is just a regular Pearl." said Lincoln. He reaches into his backpack and pulls a Big Pearl out of his backpack. "THIS is a Big Pearl." Lola's eyes widened and her jaw drops. Lincoln gives the PokeMart clerk the Pearls, Big Pearls, and the Star Piece he found in the Asada Desert; the clerk gives Lincoln pokedollars in return.
"That is literally a lot of money." said Lori.
"Well, I need a lot of money when travelling the Paldea Region." replied Lincoln. After that, they waited for a while for Lincoln's Pokemon to be treated.
"Hey, Lincoln." said Luan, getting Lincoln's attention.
"Yeah?" replied Lincoln.
"Is there a quicker way to get to Mesagoza?" asked Luan. The nurse overhears Luan's question and gets everyone's attention.
"Do you know about the Flying Taxies?" asked the nurse.
"What are those?" asked Lincoln.
"Can I see your Rotom Phone?" asked the nurse. Lincoln shrugged and hands the nurse his Rotom Phone with the hand that wasn't holding Lily. The nurse looks at it for a few seconds. "I see you don't have the Flying Taxi App yet."
"What's that?" asked Lincoln.
"It's an app that lets you call for a service that will bring you to any location you've been to before a lot quicker." said the nurse.
"Really?" asked Lincoln. The nurse takes out her own Rotom Phone and a string of light comes out of it and connects to Lincoln's Rotom Phone. A few seconds later, the string disappears.
"There. I downloaded the Flying Taxi app onto your Rotom Phone." said the nurse. Lincoln looks at his Rotom Phone and sees an icon that looks like several Squawkabillies lifting something into the air. "To use it, just tap the icon and you'll be connected to the Flying Taxi service. After that, just request how many Flying Taxies you think you'll need, and they'll send some over to your location."
"Okay. Thanks a lot." said Lincoln.
"You're welcome. And here are your Pokemon back." said the nurse as she hands Lincoln his pokeballs.
"Great." said Lincoln as he accepts them. After that, Lincoln tries handing Lily over to Leonard so he can use both hands to call for Flying Taxies, but Lily refused to let go of him. "Will you guys excuse me for a few minutes?"
"Sure, Lincoln." said Clyde. Lincoln runs to Cascarrafa while carrying Lily. After waiting for several minutes, Lincoln returns, now wearing an orange baby carrier with Lily in it. Lincoln then uses his Rotom Phone to call for seven Flying Taxies.
"They should be here in a few minutes." said Lincoln.
"So, what should we do in the meantime?" asked Ronnie Anne. Lisa then decides to ask Lincoln a question.
"Lincoln. What exactly is Terastilization?" asked Lisa. Lincoln pulls his Tera Orb out of his backpack.
"Basically, it changes the type of Pokemon into a different type." replied Lincoln. "Kofu's Crabominable is originally a dual fighting and ice type; but after using a Tera Orb like this one, it changed Crabominable into his Tera Form, which is a water type."
"Fascinating." said Lisa, looking at Lincoln's Tera Orb while shifting her glasses.
"So, Lincoln, after you show us your academy, which gym are you going to next?" asked Lana. Lincoln takes out his Rotom Phone and pulls up the map.
"It looks like the nearest gym I haven't been to yet is in Medali." replied Lincoln.
"You going to challenge it, Linc?" asked Lynn.
"Of course. I do need eight gym badges." said Lincoln. Lola looks up and sees several objects flying towards them.
"I think I see those Flying Taxi things." said Lola. They all look to see several carriages, each one being carried by four Squawkabillies, flying towards them. A minute later, they set down on the ground.
"Cool." said Clyde.
"Like, what are those Pokemon?" asked Leni, pointing at the Squawkabillies.
"Those are called Squawkabillies." said Lincoln. "I have one of those."
"I think two people can fit into each one of those things." said Luan. They all started to pair up. Lori and Bobby climbed into one, Luna and Sam climbed into another, Luan and Lynn climbed into another, Lucy and Lisa climbed into another, Lola and Lana climbed into another, Leonard and Leni climbed into another, and Ronnie Anne and Clyde climbed into the last one.
"What about you, Lincoln?" asked Luna. Lincoln lets Koraidon out of its pokeball.
"Me and Lily are going to take Koraidon back to Mesagoza." said Lincoln. He climbs onto Koraidon with Lily in tow. "I'll see you at Naranja Academy."
"See you soon, my little minnow." said Leonard. Koraidon runs off with Lincoln and Lily riding on it while the Flying Taxies take off. Koraidon continues running down the path.
"Isn't this fun, Lily?" asked Lincoln. Lily laughs in response. They soon reached South Province Area Two. As they rode, Lily observed the area. She saw Combees, Hoppips, Mareeps, and Fidoughs. Lily smiles at all the cute Pokemon she saw. "So, what do you think of all the cute Pokemon here, Lily?" Lily looks at Lincoln with her eyes shining, smiling. Lincoln smiles in response. They soon reach Cortondo and cut through it, then keep travelling until they reach the west gate to Mesagoza and enter it. Lincoln hops off Koraidon and returns it to its pokeball. Lincoln walks to the central plaza of Mesagoza and heads over to an ice cream cart.
"Hello, young man. What can I get you today?" asked the ice cream vendor. Lincoln looks at the menu.
"One Mint Chocolate for me; and one Strawberry for my baby sister." said Lincoln.
"Coming right up." said the ice cream vendor. A minute later, Lincoln was walking up the stairs to Naranja/Uva Academy with Lily eating her ice cream while he was enjoying his. Just as they reach the front of the academy, the Flying Taxies set down in front of them.
"Hey, guys. How was your flight?" asked Lincoln.
"It was fun!" said Lana. Lola saw Lincoln and Lily's ice cream cones.
"Where did you get ice cream?!" asked Lola.
"Ice cream cart here in Mesagoza." replied Lincoln. He then turns towards the academy. "Well, guys. This is Naranja Academy. Well, actually, we're calling it the Naranja Uva Academy until Professor Sada and Professor Turo find a way to separate the two universes. Lori looked in awe at the academy.
"Wow. This academy looks literally amazing." said Lori. "I've seen pictures of Fairway University and it doesn't look anywhere near as fabulous as this place." Lola smiles with glee at the academy.
"This place looks like a palace." said Lola.
"I thought the same thing when I first arrived here." said Lincoln. Everyone then started walking to the main entrance.
"Hey, Lincoln! Saw your gym battle against Kofu online. Congrats, man." a male student nearby shouts over to him.
"Your Floette was incredible. Cute baby you have with you by the way." said a female student.
"Thanks." replied Lincoln. They all entered the academy. Upon entering the academy, Lisa looked in awe at all the tall bookshelves full of books she saw.
"Such a wondrous variety of books." said Lisa. "I can only imagine the knowledge of Pokemon these books contain." Lincoln starts to show his family and friends around the academy. They soon reach Lincoln's homeroom/biology class and enter. Lincoln soon sees Mr. Jacq looking over some papers. He turns to see Lincoln upon hearing him and his family and friends enter.
"Hello, Lincoln." said Mr. Jacq.
"Hi, Mr. Jacq." said Lincoln. Mr. Jacq sees the others behind Lincoln. "Since you know who I am, I 'm guessing you're the Mr. Jacq from the Naranja Universe."
"You are correct." said Naranja Mr. Jacq. "The two Mr. Clavells came up with a rotation schedule for both universes to make things easier on all of us, so we're taking turns teaching our respective universes' students. Today is Naranja Universe's turn."
"Oh. That sounds like a good idea." said Lincoln. Naranja Mr. Jacq looks at Lincoln's friends and family.
"Who are these people?" asked Naranja Mr. Jacq. Lincoln introduces his family and friends to him who then smiles and greets them. "It's nice to meet all of you."
"Thank you." said Lisa. They all look around for a few minutes before leaving the classroom. They look around a few more classrooms, meeting some of Lincoln's other teachers such as his languages teacher, Mr. Salvatore; his history teacher Ms. Raifort; and his Home Ec. teacher, Mr. Saguaro. He brings them to the Art Room and shows them his Charizard painting. They soon reach a large open area with several garden plots, benches, and a large running track surrounding a couple battle arenas.
"What's this place?" asked Lynn.
"It's the schoolyard. Students come here to relax or exercise." said Lincoln. Just then, they hear a loud voice coming from nearby.
"Hello, Lincoln!" said a female voice. They look around and soon see a tall, athletic woman with long black hair that has some of it tied up. She was wearing a black tracksuit, yellow fingerless gloves and sneakers, standing on top of one of the climbing ladders that were in the area. Lincoln lets out a sigh when he sees her.
"Hi, Ms. Dendra." said Lincoln. The woman now known as Ms. Dendra (or Naranja Ms. Dendra) leaps high up off the ladder she was on and does a few midair flips before landing on the ground. Lynn looks at her with awe.
"Whoa." said Lynn. Lincoln turns to look at everyone.
"This is Ms. Dendra. The Battle Studies teacher here at the academy." said Lincoln.
"Who are these people, Lincoln?" asked Naranja Ms. Dendra. Lincoln introduces his family and friends to her who smiles and waves at them. "Well, it's nice to meet you."
"It's nice to meet you too." Lori said. Ms. Dendra looks back at Lincoln.
"I saw your battle against Kofu in an online video, and I'm glad that you've put all the lessons I've been teaching you to good use." said Naranja Ms. Dendra.
"Thank you, Ms. Dendra." said Lincoln. Naranja Ms. Dendra pokes one of Lincoln's legs with her foot.
"But your legs seem a little noodly. Have you been doing any jogging during your Treasure Hunt?" asked Naranja Ms. Dendra. Lincoln looked a little nervous.
"Actually, I've been getting around by riding Koraidon a lot." Lincoln admitted. Naranja Ms. Dendra puts her fists on her hips and gives Lincoln a frown.
"Just because you haven't been attending my classes doesn't mean you should get lazy and out of shape!" said Naranja Ms. Dendra who then points at the track. "I want you to give me ten laps around that track!" Lincoln looks at Naranja Ms. Dendra with shock and disbelief.
"But Ms. Dendra..." Lincoln started to say.
"No buts, except the one I'm gonna whip into shape! Now move!" said Naranja Ms. Dendra as she starts running in place. "Move it, Lincoln! And you can keep the baby strapped to your chest to add more weight to your workout! One two one two one two!" Lincoln groaned and started running in place while Lily giggles. Naranja Ms. Dendra leads Lincoln onto the track and starts having him do laps around the track while everyone else watched.
"Whoa. She is literally intense." said Lori.
"I like her." said Lynn. Not wanting to be left out of exercise, Lynn runs out onto the track, and jogs after Lincoln and Naranja Ms. Dendra. Minutes later, the three of them finish the last lap with Lincoln trying to catch his breath while dripping with sweat and making sure not to get any on Lily. Naranja Ms. Dendra hands Lincoln a water bottle which he quickly accepted and starts drinking out of.
"Now, Lincoln. I want you to rely on your own legs to get around more often and not having to ride on Koraidon. If you don't, I'll have you run TWENTY LAPS NEXT TIME!" said Naranja Ms. Dendra.
"Yes..pant,pant...Ms. Dendra." said Lincoln. "I promise I'll only use Koraidon if it's an emergency." Naranja Ms. Dendra nods, then looks over at Lynn with a smile.
"Who are you, young lady?" Naranja Ms. Dendra asked Lynn. "I like your stamina."
"I'm Lynn Loud Jr. Lincoln's older sister." said Lynn.
"Are you travelling with Lincoln here right now?" asked Naranja Ms. Dendra.
"Yep." said Lynn.
"Can you do me a favor and make sure Lincoln here gets a lot of exercise during your travels?" asked Naranja Ms. Dendra. Lynn looks at Lincoln with a big grin, making him sweat even more.
"You can count on it, Ms. Dendra." said Lynn.
"Good. I'm certain you can whip his scrawny butt into shape in my absence." said Naranja Ms. Dendra.
"Help me." Lincoln pleads to the rest of his family and friends. Soon they start to exit the schoolyard. Lynn looks at Naranja Ms. Dendra who waves back at her.
"Looks like I found myself another role model." said Lynn.
"You two are so alike." said Lori.
"Totes." said Leni. They visit a few more classrooms before arriving at the door to Lincoln's dorm room. Lincoln takes out his keycard and unlocks it.
"And this is my dorm room." said Lincoln. He and the others enter Lincoln's dorm room.
"Wow. Nice place, Lincoln." said Ronnie Anne.
"Thanks." replied Lincoln.
"It's a lot bigger than your room back in Royal Woods." said Clyde. Everyone suddenly hears Leni gasp. They turn to see her looking into Lincoln's bathroom.
"O-M-GOSH! You have your own bathroom, Linky?!" asked Leni.
"Yeah." said Lincoln. Lola pushes Leni aside and runs into the bathroom.
"Move it, sister; I need to tinkle!" said Lola. "Indoor plumbing, how I missed you!" She then slams the bathroom door shut. Everyone else lines up outside it.
"When she's done in there, I got to go." said Luna. About an hour later, everyone finishes their 'business'.
"So, what now?" asked Lana. Lincoln looks at his clock.
"It's almost dinner time. Let's get something to eat." said Lincoln. He leads the others to the cafeteria. About an hour later, they were all patting their bellies with satisfied looks on their faces.
"Man, that was good." said Lana.
"Quite satisfying." said Lisa.
"That food was literally amazing." said Lori. A fart was heard shortly after she said that. A foul odor filled the area.
"Ugh! Lori!" said Leni.
"That was nasty, sis!" said Luna.
"It was my shoe!" said Lori. Just then, Lincoln's Rotom Phone rang. Lincoln looks at the Caller ID and blushes when he sees Iono's name on it.
"Who's that, Lincoln?" asked Ronnie Anne.
"It's Iono." said Lincoln. His sisters look at him with big grins on their faces as they gathered behind him. Seeing no way out, Lincoln sighs and turns on video chat. An image of Naranja Iono appears on the screen.
"Hi, cutie!" said Naranja Iono, making Lincoln's sisters giggle. Iono notices them behind Lincoln. "Who are those girls behind you?"
"These are my sisters." said Lincoln, surprising Naranja Iono.
"All of them are your sisters?!" asked Naranja Iono.
"Yep. All ten of them." said Lincoln. A look of astonishment appears on Naranja Iono's face.
"How does one family have so many kids?!" asked Naranja Iono.
"No idea." said Lincoln.
"Well, it's nice to meet all of you." Naranja Iono says to Lincoln's sisters.
"Oh, we're so happy to meet you." said Lori. Leonard, Clyde, Bobby, Ronnie Anne, and Sam all gathered around Lincoln as well.
"Who are those people?" asked Naranja Iono.
"This boy is my best friend from America; Clyde McBride." said Lincoln as he points at Clyde.
"Hey, Iono." said Clyde.
"Hi." said Naranja Iono. Lincoln then points to Leonard.
"This is my grandfather, Leonard Loud." said Lincoln.
"It's nice to meet you, young miss." said Leonard.
"It's nice to meet you too, sir." said Naranja Iono. He then points to Ronnie Anne.
"This is another friend of mine, Ronnie Anne Santiago." said Lincoln.
"Hello." said Naranja Iono. Ronnie Anne looks away with a huff and waves, confusing Lincoln and Naranja Iono. He then points at Bobby.
"This is Ronnie Anne's brother, Bobby." said Lincoln.
"Hey, Iono." said Bobby, waving.
"Hola." said Naranja Iono. He then points at Sam.
"And this is Sam, a friend of my sister, Luna." said Lincoln.
"It's so nice to meet Linky's family and friends." said Naranja Iono.
"So, what's up, Iono?" asked Lincoln.
"Saw a video of your gym battle with Kofu. Just thought I'd call and congratulate you." said Naranja Iono.
"Thanks, Iono." replied Lincoln.
"So which gym are you going to challenge next?" asked Naranja Iono.
"I'm going to try the gym in Medali." replied Lincoln. They all make small talk for a while longer.
"It was so awesome meeting all of you." said Naranja Iono.
"It was totes nice meeting you, too." said Leni. "I love those hair accessories you're wearing."
"Thanks. Perhaps if things go well between your brother and me, I can call you and the rest of your sisters my sisters-in-law someday." said Naranja Iono with a big smile on her face, making the Loud sisters squeal with delight.
"Talk to you later, Iono." said Lincoln.
"See ya, cutie." said Naranja Iono as she blows a kiss to Lincoln, making him blush, his sisters squeal some more, and Ronnie Anne growl. Iono ends the call there. After Lincoln puts his Rotom Phone away, he looks behind him and sees his sisters looking at him with big smiles on their faces.
"Uh oh." said Lincoln as his sisters pull him into a bone-crushing group hug. Five minutes later, they were all heading down the stairs in front of Naranja/Uva Academy.
"Man, Lincoln; how do you handle going up and down these stairs every day?" asked Lori.
"After a while, you develop the stamina and lower body strength to endure it easily enough." said Lincoln.
"These stairs make a great cardio workout." said Lynn. Once they reach the bottom of the stairs, Lincoln shows them around Mesagoza for a while, also taking the time to buy everyone ice cream, except for himself since he already had some earlier. Once the tour was done, Lincoln reaches into his wallet and pulls out some pokedollars.
"Here you go." said Lincoln as he hands the money to Leonard.
"What's this for?" asked Leonard.
"If you guys are going to be here for a while, I might as well spring for a few hotel rooms in the meantime." said Lincoln.
"Don't worry, Lincoln. We'll pay you back every cent." said Lori.
"I wouldn't worry. The exchange rate between US dollars and pokedollars is unbelievable." said Lincoln.
"What do you mean?" asked Luan.
"Well. The nineteen US dollars I had on me when I got here is worth 10,000 pokedollars." said Lincoln, surprising everyone.
"Whoa!" said Luna. Lily was starting to get sleepy.
"I'm guessing Lily's spending the night with me because she doesn't want to leave my side?" said Lincoln.
"Yeah, that'd probably be best." said Lucy as she hands Lincoln Lily's diaper bag.
"So we'll meet here tomorrow morning?" asked Lincoln.
"Sounds like a plan." said Bobby.
"Now you see why he calls himself the 'Man with the Plan'." said Clyde. They all go their separate ways. When Lincoln and Lily reach Lincoln's dorm room, Lincoln showers with Lily, making sure not to get soap in her eyes. After that, Lincoln puts on his pajamas and puts Lily into her onesie and they both get into bed. They soon fall asleep a few minutes later. Meanwhile, at the hotel that the Louds, Clyde, Ronnie Anne, Bobby, and Sam were staying in; Ronnie Anne was in her bed, punching her pillow with a frustrated look on her face.
"Who does that Iono girl think she is?!" Ronnie Anne asked herself. "I saw Lincoln first! I will not let her take him from me! He's mine!" Bobby, who was in the same room as her, looks over and sees Ronnie Anne's behavior.
"Nie-Nie? Are you okay?" asked Bobby. Ronnie Anne looks at Bobby with a look of embarrassment on her face.
"Sorry, Bobby." said Ronnie Anne. "It's nothing." A smirk appears on Bobby's face.
"Sure, little sis. Whatever you say." said Bobby. Ronnie Anne frowns and puts her head on her pillow and falls asleep five minutes later.
