Making New Teams
As Lincoln's group, the Eds, Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Cartman, Butters, and Trent make their way back to the Pokemon Center they were at before, they were trying to figure out their next move.
"So what now?" asked Stan. Lincoln looks at his family and friends.
"Well, I promised my family, Clyde, Bobby, Ronnie Anne, and Sam that I would help catch some Pokemon for them." said Lincoln.
"How come?" asked Kyle.
"Well mainly for protection from wild Pokemon if we get seperated from each other." said Lincoln. "And they want to do some Tera Raid battles to get some stuff to sell for money, so I won't have to support them. You can imagine what paying for food and hotel rooms for sixteen people, along with supplies for myself would affect my budget."
"That sounds expensive." said Kyle.
"And it will take a while for that wall blocking the road north of Levincia to be taken down. If it's like the last one, it'll be gone tomorrow morning, so I have some time on my hands in the meantime." said Lincoln.
"Perhaps we can assist you in helping catch Pokemon for your friends and sisters." said Edd. "We can't get to that Titan Pokemon until that wall goes down."
"I don't see why not." said Lincoln. "It could make things go a lot quicker."
"So, who's gonna help whom?" asked Kyle. Lana walks over to Ed.
"Can I go with this guy?" asked Lana.
"How come?" replied Lincoln. Lana sniffs at Ed.
"I like the way he smells." said Lana. Out of curiosity, Lola walks over to Ed and sniffs him, only to get a repulsed look on her face.
"Holy shamoley! That's the most hideous odor I've ever smelled in my life, and Lana's my roommate!" exclaimed Lola. "When was the last time you took a bath?!" Ed scratches his head in thought, releasing a foul smell from his armpit which drifts over to Lola, making her look like she was going to throw up.
"I forget." said Ed.
"Lower your arm!" said Lola. They hear something heavy being moved behind them and see members of Team Star's Fire Gang pushing the Starmobile that was wrecked after Palafin Hero Form smashed through it during the Star Barrage. Lana walks over to it and examines it.
"What are you doing, Lana?" asked Lori.
"I'm thinking that I can work on this later." said Lana.
"What for, dudette?" asked Luna.
"It's a big vehicle." said Lana. "Maybe we can ride it instead of walking."
"That's a great idea." said Luan. Lana goes over to the Team Star members who were pushing it.
"Is there a garage around here that I can work on this in?" asked Lana.
"There's a big tent over there with some tools in it." said one of the Team Star members as he points to the tent where the Starmobile came out of during the Star Barrage.
"Thanks." said Lana. She looks back at the group. "Can I get some help moving this thing?" Eddy looks over at Ed.
"Lumpy. Do your stuff." said Eddy.
"Okay, Eddy." said Ed as he walks over to the Starmobile. To everyone's surprise, except Edd and Eddy's, Ed lifts it over his head by himself.
"Whoa." said Lynn with awe in her voice.
"Man, he's strong!" said Stan.
"That's nothing." said Eddy. "When Ed was still in diapers, he lifted an entire house over his head."
"No way! You gotta be lying!" said Kyle.
"I assure you that it is true." said Edd. Lynn couldn't help but look at Ed with admiration as he carries the Starmobile over to the tent the Team Star member pointed out. After Ed sets the Starmobile down in the garage, he returns to the group.
"So now what?" asked Lori.
"I can work on the Starmobile later." said Lana. "I want to catch a Pokemon for myself."
"I'll buy all of you some pokeballs first." said Lincoln.
"Which we'll pay you back for." said Lori. Lincoln goes over to the Pokemon Center and buys everyone three pokeballs each. He also got three, free Premier Balls for his purchases as well. After he gives them to his friends and family, they decide on who goes with whom.
"I'm with Ronnie Anne and Clyde." said Lincoln.
"I'll go with your grandfather, Lincoln." said Stan.
"I'll go with Sam and Luna." said Kyle.
"Me and Lana will go with Ed." said Lynn.
"I'll accompany Double-D along with Lola." said Lisa.
"Yeah. At least he seems sophisticated, compared to his friend." said Lola.
"I'll go with these ladies." said Eddy as he points at Leni and Luan.
"I'll go with these two." Cartman says as he points at Lori and Bobby.
"And I guess I'll go with that one." said Kenny as he points to Lucy.
"I'll keep an eye on your baby sister, Lincoln." said Butters.
"Thanks, Butters." said Lincoln.
"And I'll go look around for some Pokemon for my team." said Trent.
"So we're all ready?" asked Lori. Everyone nods in response.
"We'll meet just outside Levincia at around four p.m." said Lincoln.
"I'll bet you're hoping to see Iono there." said Lola with a smirk, making Lincoln blush.
"Just hope she doesn't find out about that Team Star girl kissing you." said Lori, making Lincoln blush even more, and Ronnie Anne frown.
"Anyway, let's get started." said Lincoln. Everyone goes off to find Pokemon. With Stan and Leonard, they were on Stan's Koraidon on the East Paldean Sea.
"This beast is unlike anything I've seen before." said Leonard.
"That's what me and my friends thought about all Pokemon when we first learned about them." said Stan.
"So how do you and my little minnow, Lincoln, get along?" asked Leonard.
"We get along pretty well." said Stan. "He gets along with pretty much all the students and staff at Naranja Academy."
"I still can't believe my granddaughters, daughter-in-law, and son would just throw Lincoln out onto the streets over something silly as a superstition." said Leonard.
"Yeah." said Stan. "On the plus side, it led to him being here, having this great adventure."
"I suppose." said Leonard. "Only wish it didn't have to require him being kicked out of the house." They soon come across a spiky, sphere-shaped, fishlike Pokemon whose top half is dark teal, and half yellowish green. Stan pulls out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Qwilfish, the Balloon Pokemon. Be cautious if this Pokémon starts sucking in water—it will soon attack by scattering the toxic spikes that grow all over its body." said the Rotom Phone.
"Dang it; and I forgot to bring my fishing rod." said Leonard.
"To catch a Pokemon, you need to battle it." said Stan as he pulls out his Bramblin's pokeball and releases her from it. "Bramblin, use Bullet Seed!" Bramblin sprays out a barrage of seeds from its body and hits Qwilfish, multiple times. Qwilfish responds by releasing a barrage of needles from its mouth, hitting Bramblin. "Hurry and use Absorb, Bramblin!" Bramblin releases a stream of energy from its body which hits Qwilfish, draining it of stamina, and healing herself. Qwilfish suddenly starts to shrink its body.
"What's going on?" asked Leonard.
"I'm guessing it's using Minimize." said Stan. "It's trying to make itself harder to hit."
"So what will you do now?" asked Leonard.
"It may be harder to hit, but not impossible." said Stan. "Bramblin, use Rollout!" Bramblin rolls out onto the water, skipping over it like a skipping stone, and manages to hit Qwilfish. Stan sees it struggling to stay upright in the water and turns to look at Leonard. "He's weakened enough, sir! Throw a pokeball at it!" Leonard takes a pokeball out of his vest and throws it at the Qwilfish, hitting it, and sucking it in. The ball wiggles on the water a few times before clicking, indicating a successful capture.
"Looks like I caught myself a Pokemon." said Leonard. Stan had his Koraidon swim alongside Qwilfish's pokeball, and Leonard reaches down and grabs it. Stan looks at his Rotom Phone at Qwilfish's information.
"This says that your Qwilfish is a boy, he knows Tackle, Poison Sting, Harden, Water Gun, Fell Stinger, and Minimize. He has the Poison Point ability which has a chance of poisoning any Pokemon that hits it with a move involving hitting him with a part of its body." said Stan.
"Sounds like you don't want to get up close and personal with this little guy." said Leonard.
"Let's keep looking around." said Stan. They look around the East Paldean Sea for more Pokemon, with Stan helping Leonard train his Qwilfish. It learned Spikes during the training. While Stan and Leonard continued their search of the ocean; Kyle was with Luna and Sam in East Province Area Two.
"So, you and your friends get along with my little bro, little dude?" Luna asked Kyle.
"Yeah, we're cool with each other." replied Kyle. "It wasn't cool with what you and your sisters and parents did to him." Luna looks down with a look of guilt on her face while Sam puts a hand on her shoulder. "I mean, you're his big sister, you're supposed to look out for your younger siblings. I know about that responsibility because I have a little brother myself, and if some guy messed with him, I'd kick his ass." Shocked looks appeared on Luna and Sam's faces.
"Whoa! I think you're too young to use those kinds of words!" said Sam.
"Didn't exactly live in a decent town back in America." said Kyle. He suddenly sees a Tera Den. "There's a Tera Den. Let's get one of you a Pokemon." They enter the Tera Den and soon see a crystallized purple Pokemon that looked like it was wearing a diaper. It also had crystallized skull and crossbones on top of it. Kyle takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Toxel, the Baby Pokemon. It has no problem drinking dirty water. An organ inside Toxel's body filters such water into a poisonous liquid that is harmless to Toxel." said the Rotom Phone.
"You can have this one, Luna." said Sam.
"Thanks, Sam." said Luna. Kyle studied the Toxel.
"Judging by the skull and crossbones on top of it, its Tera Form is a poison type." said Kyle. He pulls a pokeball out of his pocket. "Go, Flittle!" He throws Flittle's pokeball and releases him. "Flittle, Psybeam!" Flittle unleashes a multicolored beam of energy from its eyes, and it hits Toxel, dealing super effective damage. Toxel begins stumbling around.
"What's wrong with it?" asked Luna.
"Psybeam will sometimes cause the Pokemon to be confused." said Kyle. Toxel rubs its cheeks, creating electricity on them, but it slams its head onto the ground, hurting itself. "Flittle, Quick Attack!" Flittle flies at Toxel with incredible speed and rams it, shattering its crystal skin and skull and crossbones, reverting to its regular form. "Catch it, Luna!"
"You got it, little dude." said Luna. She throws an empty pokeball at Toxel, hitting it and sucking it in. After it wiggled around a few times, it clicks, indicating a successful capture. Luna runs over to Toxel's pokeball and picks it up.
"Rockin! I caught a Toxel!" said Luna.
"Congratulations, Luna." said Sam. Kyle and the girls soon found themselved back in East Province Area Two. Kyle uses his Rotom Phone to look up Luna's Toxel.
"Okay. Your Toxel is a dude, he knows Growl, Acid, Flail, Belch, Nuzzle, and Tearful Look." said Kyle. "He has the Rattled ability, which increases his speed when he's hit with a bug, dark, or ghost type attack."
"Radical." said Luna. Kyle sees three Pearls on the ground and picks them up. They continued looking around the area until they came across another Tera Den. They entered the den and to their surprise, they see another crystallized Toxel, only it had a crystal lightbulb on its head.
"Whoa. Another Toxel." said Sam.
"And by that lightbulb on it, this Toxel's Tera Form is an electric type." said Kyle, pulling a pokeball out of his pocket. "Go, Phanpy!" He throws Phanpy's pokeball and releases him. "Okay, Phanpy, use Bulldoze!" Phanpy jumps up and down onto the ground, releasing shockwaves and they hit Toxel, dealing super effective damage to it. Toxel rubs its cheeks, creating electricity on them and leaps at Phanpy. It rubbed its cheeks on Phanpy, but it didn't seem to do anything.
"That attack didn't look like it did anything." said Sam.
"That move was probably Nuzzle, an electric type move." said Kyle. "Take note that electric type moves have no effect on ground type Pokemon."
"Like how that Crabrawler's fighting type move didn't work on Linc's Skeledirge because he was part ghost?" asked Luna.
"Correct. Now, Phanpy, Rollout!" said Kyle. Phanpy begins rolling towards Toxel and rams it hard, shattering its Tera Form and reverting it to its regular form. "Catch it, Sam!" Sam takes out an empty pokeball from her jacket pocket and throws it at Toxel, hitting it, and sucking it in. After it wiggled around a few times, it clicks, indicating a successful capture.
"Rock on!" said Sam. She runs to Toxel's pokeball and picks it up. "Toxel is mine!"
"Congratulations, Sam." said Luna, running up to Sam and hugs her. They look at each other's eyes and smile at each other. They were soon back in the East Province area. Kyle uses his Rotom Phone to look up Sam's Toxel's information.
"Okay, Sam, your Toxel's a girl, she knows the same moves Luna's Toxel knows, but she has the Static ability, which has the chance of paralyzing a Pokemon that hits her physically." said Kyle.
"Thank, little dude." said Sam. Kyle picks up several Pearls and berries and puts them in his backpack. He spent most of the day helping Luna and Sam train their Toxel, making them stronger. He also trained his Pokemon. His Floragato learned Worry Seed and Slash, his Fletchinder learned Agility, his Flittle learned Pluck and Agility, and his Arrokuda learned Dive. His Phanpy also found a Super Potion with his Pickup ability. During the training, Phanpy and Arrokuda both began to glow.
"Dudes, Phanpy and Arrokuda are evolving!" said Kyle. Luna and Sam gather around Kyle and watched as Phanpy and Arrokuda began to change. When the glowing stopped, Phanpy was now bigger, had gray skin, large tusks, and a thick black band going down his back and trunk.
"Hey, that looks like the Pokemon that Lincoln's Palafin rumbled with in that desert yesterday." said Luna. Arrokuda was longer and had four tail fins that are rotating like a propeller. Kyle points his Rotom Phone at his newly evolved Phanpy.
"Donphan, the Armor Pokemon and the evolved form of Phanpy. Donphan is covered in tough hide, so even being hit by a car won't faze this Pokémon. However, it is extremely susceptible to rain." said the Rotom Phone. Kyle then points his Rotom Phone at his newly evolved Arrokuda. "Barraskewda, the Skewer Pokemon and the evolved form of Arrokuda. It spins its tail fins to leap from the water, then viciously bites down on Wingull flying close to the water's surface."
"Cool. And this says Donphan learned Fury Attack from evolving and he has the Sturdy ability now instead of Pickup." said Kyle.
"Congratulations, little dude." said Sam.
Meanwhile, with Kenny and Lucy, they were exploring some ruins in the area.
"Do you get along well with my brother, Kenny?" asked Lucy.
"He's a good friend to me and my other friends." said Kenny. "We always hang out together at the academy, studying together, and just having fun together as well."
"Yes. He is a good brother to me, also." said Lucy. "We both have interest in the paranormal, and he's the only one who I ever ask for help with when I need a rhyme for one of my poems."
"If he's so reliable to you, why did you go along with kicking him out of your house?" asked Kenny. Lucy looks down with shame.
"In our family, it's majority rules, and pretty much everyone voted to throw Lincoln out." said Lucy. "And I'm certain my other siblings would've made me go along with their decision if I chose not to kick Lincoln out of the house."
"You should be true to yourself, no matter what others try to make you feel." said Kenny.
"You're right." said Lucy. Suddenly, they see something float through one of the ruins' many walls. A small, black, orb with eyes and a mouth, coated in a purple mist. Realizing it was a Pokemon, Kenny points his Rotom Phone at it.
"Gastly, the Gas Pokemon. It wraps its opponent in its gas-like body, slowly weakening its prey by poisoning it through the skin." said the Rotom Phone.
"This says it's part ghost type, and part poison type." said Kenny. Lucy perks up upon hearing the ghost part.
"If it's a ghost, then I want to capture it." said Lucy. Kenny nods and pulls out a pokeball from his pocket. He throws it, releasing his Lokix.
"Okay, Lokix! Use Screech!" said Kenny. Lokix releases a high-pitched soundwave from his mouth, making Gastly cringe, and lowering its defense. Gastly responds by releasing black streams of energy from its body, hitting Lokix, but not doing much damage to him. "Lokix, use Assurance!" Lokix thrusts his front upper legs into Gastly's face, doing super effective damage due to dark type moves being super effective against ghost types. The Gastly starts to drift towards the ground. Kenny, seeing that Gastly was weakened, quickly turns towards Lucy. "Lucy! Catch it!" Lucy quickly pulls a pokeball from her backpack and throws it at the Gastly, hitting it, and sucking it in. The ball wiggles a few times before clicking, indicating a successful capture.
"Wicked. I caught a Gastly." said Lucy as she walks over to the pokeball and picks it up. Kenny returns Lokix to his pokeball, then uses his Rotom Phone to look up Gastly's information.
"This says your Gastly is a boy, he knows Confuse Ray, Lick, Hypnosis, Mean Look, Payback, and Spite. He has the Levitate ability which makes him immune to ground type attacks." said Kenny. Lucy puts Gastly's pokeball in her backpack and they continue to explore. It wasn't long before they came across a Tera Den. They go inside to see what Pokemon was lurking inside of it. They look around and see a shaggy dog-like Pokemon that had a candle on its head that's lit up with a purple flame. Also on its head was a jewel that looked like a surge of energy with a sinister smile.
"What's that Pokemon?" asked Lucy. Kenny points his Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Greavard, the Ghost Dog Pokemon. It is said that a dog Pokémon that died in the wild without ever interacting with a human was reborn as this Pokémon." said the Rotom Phone.
"A ghost dog?" replied Lucy with interest in her voice.
"Yeah." said Kenny. "Me, Lincoln, and our friends are part of Naranja Academy's Ghost Pokemon Club."
"Sounds like my kind of club." said Lucy.
"It's a fun club to be in." said Kenny. "We go out at night and explore some old ruins outside of Mesagoza to find ghost type Pokemon."
"Wicked." said Lucy.
"Anyway; what they say about this Pokemon is that if you play with it a lot, it will unintentionally drain you of your lifeforce." said Kenny.
"Now I really want this Pokemon." said Lucy. With a creeped-out look on his face, Kenny brings his Lokix back out.
"Judging by the jewel on its head, it's Tera Form is dark type, so a bug type like my Lokix should have an advantage in this battle."
"It can become a dark type also?" asked Lucy. "Now I REALLY want this Pokemon."
"You got it." said Kenny. "Lokix, use Lunge!" Lokix leaps towards the Greavard and slams into it, doing super effective damage. Greavard responds by biting down on Lokix's torso, not doing a lot of damage. "Lokix, use Bug Bite!" Lokix jumps towards Greavard and bites down on it, doing super effective damage, and shattering its Tera Form. Lucy takes an empty pokeball from her backpack, and throws it at the Greavard, hitting it, and sucking it in. The pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking, indicating a successful capture.
"I caught a Greavard." said Lucy in a monotone voice. They find themselves back in East Province Area Two where they first entered the Tera Den in time to see it shatter, leaving behind berries, and a few Pearls. Kenny picks them up, puts them in his backpack, and uses his Rotom Phone to look up Greavard's information.
"This says your Greavard is a boy, he knows Tackle, Growl, Lick, Tail Whip, Bite, Roar, and Headbutt. He has the Pickup ability which gives him a chance of finding an item after a battle." said Kenny.
"Okay." said Lucy. As they walk, Kenny notices that Lucy was staring at him.
"What's up?" asked Kenny.
"I sense a strange power coming from you." said Lucy.
"Oh, that." said Kenny. "I have the ability to come back to life if I get killed." Lucy looks at Kenny with disbelief.
"You're kidding, right?" asked Lucy.
"Does it look like I'm lying?" replied Kenny. Lucy closes her eyes in meditation. She opens them back up and looks at Kenny with stunned shock.
"The spirits tell me you're telling the truth." said Lucy with shock in her voice.
"Yeah. I've died and came back dozens of times." said Kenny.
"What's it like?" asked Lucy.
"Sometimes it hurts, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes I go to Heaven, other times I go to Hell. After a while it gets frustrating." said Kenny.
"So, it's a blessing and a curse?" asked Lucy.
"You could say that." said Kenny. After a minute of silence, they continue to explore the area, with Kenny helping Lucy train her current Pokemon. Her Gastly learned Curse, and her Greavard learned Dig. Also, Greavard found a couple of Potions with his Pickup ability.
At a part of East Province Area One, Butters was watching Lily play with her Tandemaus while he had Charcadet out. As Lily was playing with Tandemaus, she sees what appeared to be a green pokeball with yellow stripes on it (Nest Ball). Lily crawls over to the pokeball and picks it up.
"Whoa. What kind of pokeball is that?" asked Butters. He and Butters suddenly hear something approaching them. They look to see a blue, round, mouse-like Pokemon that had a long, thin black tail with a blue ball on the end of it. "What Pokemon is that?" He takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the new Pokemon.
"Azurill, the Polka Dot Pokemon. Its tail bounces like a rubber ball. It flings that tail around to fight opponents bigger than itself." said the Rotom Phone. Butters watches as Lily and Azurill were looking at each other. Lily then tosses the Nest Ball she found at Azurill, hitting it, and sucking it in. After it wiggled around a couple times, it clicks, indicating a successfull capture.
"Whoa. You just caught a new Pokemon, Lily." said Butters. He picks up Azurill's pokeball and gives it to Lily. "Looks like you have a new Pokemon friend, Lily." Lily looks at the Nest Ball and tosses it, releasing Azurill. Tandemaus runs over to Azurill and after they look at each other for a few seconds, they hug each other. Lily laughs and claps while Butters takes out his Rotom Phone to learn about Lily's new Azurill. "Okay, Lily, this says your Azurill's a girl, she knows Tail Whip, Water Gun, Splash, and Helping Hand. She has the Huge Power ability which doubles her attack strength." Lily crawls to her Pokemon and hugs them, who nuzzles her cheeks, making her laugh.
At the beach, Lori and Bobby were looking at the sea, holding hands.
"Isn't this romantic, babe?" asked Bobby.
"Yeah, it literally is." replied Lori. Cartman was frowning at them with his arms crossed.
"Do you want to catch Pokemon or are you just going to stand there all day?!" asked Cartman.
"Relax, twerp." replied Lori. "We're just enjoy the view, so hold your horses."
"Bitch." muttered Cartman.
"Look, babe." said Bobby, pointing down at the ocean. They look to see two heart-shaped, fish-like Pokemon floating over to them.
"Luvdiscs." said Lori. She turned towards Cartman. "Hey, kid. Help us catch those Pokemon." Cartman steps forward, pulling out a pokeball from his pocket.
"It's about time! This waiting around was pissing me off!" said Cartman. "Pikachu, come out!" He throws Pikachu's pokeball and releases her.
"That Pokemon is literally cute." said Lori.
"Whatever. Pikachu, Thunder Shock!" said Cartman. Pikachu releases electricity from her body and it hits both Luvdiscs, dealing super effective damage. One of the Luvdiscs sprays water at Pikachu, hitting her while the other one releases a blue ball of water and it hits her. "Oh yeah?! Pikachu, Electro Ball!" Pikachu forms a ball of electricity on her tail, and it hits one of the Luvdiscs. "Okay, catch that Luvdisc!" Lori pulls an empty pokeball out of her backpack and throws it at the Luvdisc, hitting it and sucking it in. After it wiggled around, it clicks, indicating a successful capture. Lori picks up the pokeball.
"I literally caught a Luvdisc." said Lori.
"Yeah, yeah." said Cartman. The other Luvdisc leaps at Pikachu and rams her, knocking her back. Luvdisc suddenly shudders and becomes surrounded by electricity. "Ha! My Pikachu's Static ability paralyzed you. Pikachu, Quick Attack!" Pikachu runs at Luvdisc with incredible speed and rams it, knocking it into the sea. "Catch it!" Bobby pulls an empty pokeball out of his pocket and throws it at Luvdisc, hitting it and sucking it in. After a few seconds, the pokeball clicks, indicating Luvdisc's capture. Bobby picks the pokeball up.
"All right. Luvdisc is mine." said Bobby. He and Lori held hands and nuzzles each other's cheeks.
"These Pokemon will literally be a symbol of our love." said Lori.
"You said it, babe." said Bobby. Cartman rolls his eyes and pulls out his Rotom Phone to look up their Luvdiscs.
"Lori, your Luvdisc is a girl. Bobby, yours is a boy. They both know Tackle, Charm, Water Gun, Agility, Wish, and Water Pulse." said Cartman. "They both have the Swift Swim ability.
"What does that do?" asked Bobby.
"It increases their speed when it's raining." replied Cartman.
"Awesome." said Bobby. He hears flapping and looks up to see a green, parrot-like Pokemon. "Hey, a Squawkabilly. Help me catch this one, kid."
"Fine. All right, Pikachu, Spark!" said Cartman. Pikachu becomes surrounded by electricity and rams Squawkabilly, dealing super effective damage to it. Squawkabilly flies at Pikachu and pecks her, but not doing much damage. "Use Nuzzle!" Pikachu rubs his cheek against Squawkabilly, dealing super effective damage to it and paralyzing it. "Catch it!" Bobby pulls an empty pokeball out of his pocket and throws it at Squawkabilly, hitting it and sucking it in. After it wiggled around a few times, it clicks, indicating Squawkabilly's capture.
"Yes! I caught a Squawkabilly!" cheered Bobby.
"Congratulations, Boo Boo Bear!" replied Lori. Cartman rolls his eyes and looks up Squawkabilly's information on his Rotom Phone.
"This says your Squawkabilly's a boy, he knows Growl, Peck, Mimic, Quick Attack, Torment, and Aerial Ace." said Cartman. "He has the Hustle ability, which increases his physical strength, but lowers his accuracy."
"Nice." said Bobby. They left the beach and explored the East Province area until they came across a Tera Den. They entered the den and encountered a crystallized Hoppip that had crystal flowers on top of it.
"What is that?" asked Lori, smiling with glee.
"That's a Hoppip." replied Cartman. "My friend, Kenny has one in his collection."
"You mind battling it for me so I can literally catch it?" asked Lori.
"Fine." said Cartman, pulling a pokeball out of his pocket. "Crocalor, come out!" He throws Crocalor's pokeball and releases him. "I'm guessing Hoppip's Tera Form is a grass type. Crocalor, Incinerate!" Crocalor opens his mouth and launches a fireball out of it and it hits Hoppip, dealing super effective damage. Hoppip leaps at Crocalor and rams him, making him takes a step back. "Crocalor, Ember!" Crocalor unleashes bits of fire from his mouth, and they hit Hoppip, dealing super effective damage to it. Its crystal skin and flowers shatter, indicating Hoppip is back to its original form. "Catch it!" Lori takes an empty pokeball out of her backpack and throws it at Hoppip, hitting it and sucking it in. After wiggling around a few times, it clicks, indicating a successful capture.
"Hoppip is literally mine!" said Lori.
"I swear if she says 'literally' one more time, I'm going to be super pissed off." said Cartman. He takes out his Rotom Phone to look up Hoppip's information. "All right, this says Hoppip is a girl, she knows Splash, Tackle, Tail Whip, Absorb, Fairy Wind, Poison Powder, Stun Spore, Sleep Powder, and Bullet Seed. She has the Leaf Guard ability which prevents her from being afflicted with status conditions when it's really sunny out." He picks up a couple Tiny Mushrooms and a few berries and exited the Tera Den.
"That was literally amazing." said Lori. Cartman lets out a loud yell. Cartman helps Lori and Bobby train their Pokemon. Both of their Luvdiscs learned Attract, Lori's Hoppip learned Synthesis, and Bobby's Squawkabilly learned Fury Attack. During the training, Hoppip began to glow. "Hey, what's wrong with Hoppip?"
"Relax, she's just evolving." said Cartman.
"You mean she's becoming a new Pokemon?" asked Bobby.
"Yeah." said Cartman. They watch as Hoppip began to change. When the glowing stopped, Hoppip was now green with large flat ears and a yellow bloom where her long green leaves used to be.
"What's Hoppip now?" asked Lori. Cartman takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the new Pokemon.
"Skiploom, the Cottonweed Pokemon and the evolved form of Hoppip. Skiploom enthusiasts can apparently tell where a Skiploom was born by the scent drifting from the flower on the Pokémon's head." said the Rotom Phone.
"Congratulations, babe." said Bobby. After a while, they see it was getting close to four o' clock, so they head to the Pokemon Center on the south end of Levincia.
