Making New Teams
As Lincoln's group, the Eds, Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Cartman, Butters, and Trent make their way back to the Pokemon Center they were at before, they were trying to figure out their next move.
"So, what now?" asked Stan. Lincoln looks at his family and friends.
"Well I promised my family, Clyde, Bobby, Ronnie Anne, and Sam that I would help catch some Pokemon for them." said Lincoln.
"How come?" asked Kyle.
"Well, mainly for protection from wild Pokemon if we get seperated from each other." said Lincoln. "And they want to do some Tera Raid battles to get some stuff to sell for money so I won't have to support them. You can imagine what paying for food and hotel rooms for sixteen people, along with supplies for myself, would affect my budget."
"That sounds expensive." said Kyle.
"And it will take a while for that wall blocking the road north of Levincia to be taken down. If it's like the last one, it'll be gone tomorrow morning, so I have some time on my hands in the meantime." said Lincoln.
"Perhaps we can assist you in helping catch Pokemon for your friends, sisters, and grandfather." said Edd. "We can't get to that Titan Pokemon until that wall goes down."
"I don't see why not." said Lincoln. "It could make things go a lot quicker."
"So, who's gonna help whom?" asked Kyle. Lana walks over to Ed.
"Can I go with this guy?" asked Lana.
"How come?" replied Lincoln. Lana sniffs at Ed.
"I like the way he smells." said Lana. Out of curiosity, Lola walks over to Ed and sniffs him, only to get a repulsed look on her face.
"Holy shamoley! That's the most hideous odor I've ever smelled in my life, and Lana's my roommate!" exclaimed Lola. "When was the last time you took a bath?!" Ed scratches his head in thought, releasing a foul smell from his armpit which drifts over to Lola, making her look like she was going to throw up.
"I forget." said Ed.
"Lower your arm!" said Lola. They hear something heavy being moved behind them and see members of Team Star's Fire Gang pushing the Starmobile that was wrecked after Palafin Hero Form smashed through it during the Star Barrage. Lana walks over to it and examines it.
"What are you doing, Lana?" asked Lori.
"I'm thinking that I can work on this later." said Lana.
"What for, dudette?" asked Luna.
"It's a big vehicle." said Lana. "Maybe we can ride it instead of walking."
"That's a great idea." said Luan. Lana goes over to the Team Star members who were pushing it.
"Is there a garage around here that I can work on this in?" asked Lana.
"There's a big tent over there with some tools in it." said one of the Team Star members as he points to the tent that the Starmobile came out of during the Star Barrage.
"Thanks." said Lana. She looks back at the group. "Can I get some help moving this thing?" Eddy looks over at Ed.
"Lumpy, do your stuff." said Eddy.
"Okay, Eddy." said Ed as he walks over to the Starmobile. To everyone's surprise, except Edd and Eddy's, Ed lifts it over his head by himself.
"Whoa." said Lynn with awe in her voice.
"Man, he's strong!" said Stan.
"That's nothing." said Eddy. "When Ed was still in diapers, he lifted an entire house over his head."
"No way! You gotta be lying!" said Kyle.
"I assure you that it is true." said Edd. Lynn couldn't help but look at Ed with admiration as he carries the Starmobile over to the tent the Team Star member pointed out. After Ed sets the Starmobile down in the garage, he returns to the group.
"So now what?" asked Lori.
"I can work on the Starmobile later." said Lana. "I want to catch a Pokemon for myself."
"I'll buy all of you some pokeballs first." said Lincoln.
"Which we'll pay you back for." said Lori. Lincoln goes over to the Pokemon Center and buys everyone three pokeballs each. He also got three, free Premier Balls for his purchases as well. After he gives them to his friends and family, they decide on who goes with whom.
"I'm with Ronnie Anne and Clyde." said Lincoln.
"I'll go with your grandfather, Lincoln." said Stan.
"I'll go with Sam and Luna." said Kyle.
"Me and Lana will go with Ed." said Lynn.
"I'll accompany Double-D along with Lola." said Lisa.
"Yeah. At least he seems sophisticated, compared to his friend." said Lola.
"I'll go with these ladies." said Eddy as he points at Leni and Luan, while trying to smooth his hair back.
"I'll go with these two." Cartman says as he points at Lori and Bobby.
"And I guess I'll go with that one." said Kenny as he points to Lucy.
"I'll keep an eye on your baby sister, Lincoln." said Butters.
"Thanks, Butters." said Lincoln.
"And I'll go look around for some Pokemon for my team." said Trent.
"So we're all ready?" asked Lori. Everyone nods in response.
"We'll meet just outside Levincia at around four p.m." said Lincoln.
"I'll bet you're hoping to see Iono there." said Lola with a smirk, making Lincoln blush.
"Just hope she doesn't find out about that Team Star girl kissing you." said Lori, making Lincoln blush even more, and Ronnie Anne frown.
"Anyway, let's get started." said Lincoln. Everyone goes off to find Pokemon. With Lincoln, Ronnie Anne, and Clyde; they were checking out East Province Area Two.
"Hey, Lincoln?" said Ronnie Anne.
"Yeah, Ronnie Anne?" replied Lincoln.
"Just out of curiosity; what kind of Pokemon would be effective against electric type Pokemon?" asked Ronnie Anne.
"Only type of Pokemon that would be most effective would be ground types, unless the electric type can fly, or has the Levitate ability." said Lincoln.
"Okay." said Ronnie Anne.
"Why were you wondering?" asked Lincoln.
"Not important for you to know." said Ronnie Anne with a frown. Lincoln looked at Ronnie Anne with a raised eyebrow, but decides to drop the matter and keep looking around. They soon come across a Tera Den and decide to check it out. When they enter, they see a crystallized, light brown, crocodile-like Pokemon with black stripes. On its head was a jewel that looked like a surge of energy with a mischievous grin on it. Lincoln takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Sandile, the Desert Croc Pokemon. It submerges itself in sand and moves as if swimming. This wise behavior keeps its enemies from finding it and maintains its temperature." said the Rotom Phone.
"According to my Rotom Phone, Sandile is part ground and part dark type." said Lincoln.
"Can I catch this one?" asked Ronnie Anne.
"I don't see why not." said Lincoln. He looks at the jewel on Sandile's head and figures it's Tera Form is dark type. He then takes out Floette's pokeball and releases her from it. "Okay, Floette! Use Disarming Voice!" Floette releases a soft melody from her mouth which takes the form of a shockwave which moves towards the Sandile, hitting it, and doing super effective damage.
"Nice one, Lincoln." said Ronnie Anne. The Sandile responds by shaking the ground beneath its feet, sending shockwaves at Floette, hitting her, and reducing her speed.
"Floette, use Draining Kiss!" said Lincoln. Floette floats towards the Sandile and kisses its head, draining it of stamina, and healing Floette of the damage she took from the attack she just took. The Sandile's skin and jewel shatter, showing that its Tera Form was dispelled. Seizing the opportunity, Ronnie Anne takes out one of the pokeballs Lincoln got for her and throws it at the Sandile, hitting it, and sucking it in. The pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking, indicating a successful capture.
"Yes! I caught a Pokemon!" said Ronnie Anne. The Tera Den they were in shines brightly and they soon find themselves back in East Province Area Two. Lincoln sees three Pearls, and some berries on the ground and picks them up. Lincoln looks at his Rotom Phone at Sandile's information.
"This says your Sandile is a girl, she knows Leer, Power Trip, Sand Attack, Hone Claws, Sand Tomb, Scary Face, Bite, Torment, and Bulldoze. She has the Moxie ability which increases her power everytime she defeats a Pokemon during a battle, which could help in a battle against a trainer with multiple Pokemon." said Lincoln.
"Moxie, huh?" said Ronnie Anne. "Sounds like my kind of ability." Lincoln pockets the items he got from the Tera Den and they continue to search the area. They soon came across another Tera Den. They entered it and came across a crystallized white, humanoid Pokemon with a green, bowl-cut hairstyle covering the top half of its head with a large, red, flat horn sticking out the front of its head and a smaller one sticking out the back of it. It also had a crystal eye on top of its head. Lincoln points his Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Ralts, the Feeling Pokemon. The horns on its head provide a strong power that enables it to sense people's emotions." said the Rotom Phone.
"Can I catch this one, buddy?" asked Clyde.
"Sure, Clyde." said Lincoln as he pulls out a pokeball. "Judging by the crystal eye on it, I would assume its Tera Form is a psychic type, so this Pokemon will be able to take it on. Skeledirge, I choose you!" He throws Skeledirge's pokeball and releases him. "All right, Skeledirge, use Snarl!" Skeledirge opens his mouth and releases black and purple rings of energy from it and it hits Ralts, dealing super effective damage.
"Awesome." said Ronnie Anne. Ralts tips up its head, revealing its eyes under its hair and they glow purple. Skeledirge gets knocked back, but he remained standing.
"Hit it with Flamethrower!" said Lincoln. Skeledirge releases a stream of fire from his mouth and it hits Ralts. Its crystal skin and eye shatter, meaning it's reverted to its regular form.
"Catch it, Clyde." said Lincoln. Clyde takes out a pokeball and throws it at Ralts, hitting it, and sucking it in. After it wiggled around a few times, it clicks, indicating a successful capture. Clyde walks over to it and picks it up.
"All right! I caught a Ralts!" said Clyde, raising the pokeball up. The group then found themselves back in East Province Area Two. Lincoln sees two Pearls and picked them up. He puts them in his backpack and uses his Rotom Phone to look up Ralts' information.
"Okay, your Ralts is part psychic, part fairy, it's a boy, he knows Growl, Disarming Voice, Double Team, Confusion, Hypnosis, and Draining Kiss. He has the Trace ability which makes his ability the same as his opponents." said Lincoln.
"So if Ralts faces Sandile in battle, his ability becomes Moxie also?" asked Clyde.
"Exactly." said Lincoln. Ronnie Anne looks at Lincoln with a stunned look on her face.
'Wow, Lincoln is so fierce in Pokemon battles.' Ronnie Anne thinks to herself, before a smirk and blush appears on her face. 'I like it.' They all continue to explore the area until they reach a small beach. As they look around, Lincoln has a look of recognition on his face.
"Hey! I remember this spot!" said Lincoln. "This is where I caught Palafin back when he was a Finizen!"
"What did he look like when he was a Finizen?" asked Clyde.
"Well, aside from the heart-shaped mark on his belly, he didn't look any different from when he was Finizen." said Lincoln. Ronnie Anne thinks back to Team Star's Fire Crew and Mela.
"Hey, Lincoln?" said Ronnie Anne.
"Yeah?" replied Lincoln.
"What Pokemon would be good against fire types?" asked Ronnie Anne.
"Well, a ground type like your Sandile would have an edge, offensively." said Lincoln. "But if you want an advantage in both offense and defense; rock, and water types would be your best bet." As they look around the beach, they see a blue, sluglike Pokemon with white-tipped growths on its head, along with flap-like protrusions on its back.
"What's that Pokemon?" asked Clyde. Lincoln points his Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Shellos, the Sea Slug Pokemon. A recently published research paper states that this form of Shellos is gradually decreasing in number." said the Rotom Phone.
"What type of Pokemon is it?" asked Ronnie Anne.
"Shellos is a water type." said Lincoln. Ronnie Anne looked at it with interest. "And an interesting fact; when it evolves, it becomes part water, and part ground type."
"Can my Sandile take this Pokemon on?" asked Ronnie Anne.
"I wouldn't recommend it." said Lincoln. "If it knows water attacks, it could do a lot of damage to Sandile, due to water attacks being very effective against ground types. But I can battle it for you if you want."
"Yes, please." said Ronnie Anne. Lincoln takes out his Pawmot's pokeball and releases him from it.
"Pawmot, use Charge!" said Lincoln. Pawmot started to surge with energy, raising his special defense power. Shellos responds by launching a glob of mud at Pawmot's face, doing super effective damage, but not as much thanks to his increased special defense. His accuracy was also lowered. "Pawmot, use Spark!" Pawmot's body becomes coated in electricity and he charges at the Shellos and hits it, doing super effective damage and more, thanks to the power ups he got from Charge and his Magnet. The Shellos struggles to get up. Ronnie Anne, seeing that it was weakened, takes out another pokeball and throws it at the Shellos, hitting it, and sucking it in. The pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking, indicating a successful capture. Ronnie Anne runs over to the pokeball and picks it up.
"Yes! I caught a Shellos!" said Ronnie Anne as she raises Shellos' pokeball over her head. Lincoln looks at Shellos' information on his Rotom Phone.
"This says your Shellos is a girl, she knows Water Gun, Mud-Slap, Harden, Recover, and Water Pulse. She has the Storm Drain ability which not only draws all water type attacks to her, she's immune to damage from them, and they'll just raise her special attack power." said Lincoln.
"That sounds so cool!" said Ronnie Anne.
"Hey, Lincoln, what's that Pokemon?" asked Clyde, pointing at something. Lincoln and Ronnie Anne look to see a light blue, turtle-like Pokemon with a horn on top of its head, walking by. Lincoln points his Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Chewtle, the Snapping Pokemon. Its large front tooth is still growing in. When the tooth itches, this Pokémon will bite another Chewtle's horn, and the two Pokémon will tussle." said the Rotom Phone.
"You want this one, Clyde?" asked Lincoln.
"Sure." said Clyde. Lincoln looks at Pawmot.
"According to my Rotom Phone, Chewtle's a water type, so electric type attacks will work on it" He turns towards Pawmot. "You up for another battle, pal?"
"Paw!" replied Pawmot, doing a fist pump. He and Lincoln turn towards Chewtle, who glares at them.
"Pawmot, Thunder Shock!" said Lincoln. Pawmot releases electricity from his body and it hits Chewtle, dealing super effective damage to it. Chewtle shudders and becomes covered in electricity. "Looks like Chewtle's paralyzed. I think you can catch it now, Clyde." Clyde takes an empty pokeball out of his pocket and throws it at Chewtle. It hits Chewtle and sucks it in. After wiggling around a few times, it clicks, indicating Chewtle's capture. Clyde runs to Chewtle's pokeball and picks it up.
"Yes! Chewtle is mine!" cheered Clyde. "Thanks, Lincoln."
"No problem, Clyde." replied Lincoln. He uses his Rotom Phone to look up Chewtle's information. "Okay, your Chewtle's a boy, he knows Tackle, Water Gun, and Bite. He has the Shell Armor ability, which prevents him from recieving critical damage."
As they continue to explore, Lincoln takes the time to help Clyde and Ronnie Anne train their Pokemon, as well as train his own. During the training, Ronnie Anne's Sandile learned Dig, and her Shellos learned Ancient Power. Clyde's Ralts learned Teleport and Psybeam; and his Chewtle learned Protect and Headbutt. Lincoln's Skeledirge learned Shadow Ball, his Pawmot learned Slam, his Lycanroc learned Rock Slide, his Floette learned Synthesis, his Palafin learned Aqua Tail, and his Dragonair, though didn't quite learn anything new yet, got a bit stronger. Also, during Clyde's Ralt's training, he suddenly froze up.
"Lincoln? What's up with Ralts?" asked Clyde. He got his answer when Ralts started to glow.
"Ralts is evolving, Clyde." said Lincoln.
"You mean he's becoming a new Pokemon?" asked Clyde.
"Correct." said Lincoln. When the glowing stopped, Ralts was taller, his eyes were visible, his horns were on the sides of his head, his arms were slender and white, his arms were slender and green, he has green side ponytails going down each side of his head, and he has a sort of tutu around his waist. Lincoln takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the newly evolved Ralts.
"Kirlia, the Emotion Pokemon and the evolved form of Ralts. It has a psychic power that enables it to distort the space around it and see into the future." said the Rotom Phone.
"Awesome!" said Clyde.
"Congratulations, Clyde!" said Lincoln. He then looked at his Rotom Phone's clock and saw it was pretty close to four o' clock. They all headed towards Levincia to meet up with the others.
