Chapter 3: The Professor Missing?

The scene opens with the whole main cast looking over a cliff that shows the sea as they soon looked up.

The next scene show everyone having a good time with Sonic eating some chili dogs, Erza enjoying a strawberry cake, Lucy dining into a sundae, Wendy drinking her juice while Happy and Chip were fighting over an ice cream while Carla looked at them with a blank look on her face. Natsu and Gray were squabbling with each other as usual as Erza steps in and bonks them on the head to stop them as most of the group had a light chuckle while Carla just sighed as Natsu and Gray's stupidity.

The next scene shows Tails working on his plane with a smile on his face, Amy waving towards the group with a big smile on her face, the people of Spagonia doing the same as Amy with Professor Pickle only nodding with a small smile on his face.

The next scene shows three dark figures: one in the shape of a giant bird, another in the shape of a serpent, and finally a form of what looks like a goblin with a really big hammer. Standing behind them is a giant creatures face covered in darkness as the only thing that can be identified is the glowing eyes. The scene shifts to Dr. Eggman cackling as he gave off a pose with his arms raised with his EggBots standing behind.

The next scene shows the main cast at night being surrounded by Dark Gaia's minions when they get ready with their own magic while Sonic enters his Werehog Form as he gave of a growl.

Dark Gaia's Minions charges forward to attack the group as the Were-Sonic, Natsu and the others charged right back!
Screaming out for my pride!
The next scene shows the whole group handing Dark Gaia's minions with Natsu using his Fire Dragon Slayer magic, Grey with his Ice-Make magic, Erza with her Re-Quip magic, Lucy with her Celestial Zodiac Summoning magic, and Wendy with her Sky Dragon Slayer Magic.

The next scene show Sonic taking down multiple enemies in his Werehog with unique combos and attack, then when the sun rises he shift back to his normal form as he returns to the group.

The scene shifts to the whole cast standing before Eggman in his Egg Dragoon and the giant shadowed figure from before. Sonic and Natsu smirked as they both charged at the foes with the others following behind them. A flash of bright light occurred when the two enemies stuck!

The final scene was the same cliff area from the first scene but the only thing there was Chips bracelet.
Earth Land...
Back in Team Natsu home land, the effects of what brought Team Natsu into Sonic world, is not the only thing that is happening. During the night time, some of the creatures that our main heroes have faced, have begin to leak and come into our world when it becomes night time. This happens when a strange purple crack appears only at night time and leaks out a purple mist from it that slowly falls the ground. And begins to form some Nightmare creatures. Just before they could go cause chaos, something or someone is about to take care of these monsters.
"White Dragon Iron Fist!" Said a male voice as being jumps out of bushes near by and has his right hand glowing white and punches the creatures in the stomach, taking them all out in one punch as the monster creatures roared out in pain before disappearing.
The remaining Nightmares were taken back by this sudden ambush and tries to take a few steps back. But suddenly, something jumps out of their own shadows. They slowly look behind them to turn around to see a man in the air about to make his attack. "No escape you fiends! Shadow Dragon... ROAR!" Said the man as he released a stream of shadows from his mouth and the attack flies towards the remaining monsters. The Nightmares couldn't stand a chance as they were caught up in the attack and were destroyed in seconds.
After a few seconds later, there not any sighting of those monsters left. And the two beings that defeated relaxed a bit and ends their attacks. The moon lightly slowly begins to reveal the two beings that was responsible that took care of this monsters.
"Man... since a couple nights ago, ever since that purple crack in the sky keeps appearing, these monsters keep showing up as well. " Said a male voice. This man is a slim, yet muscular, toned young man of average height with spiky blond hair, which is kept in strands jutting outwards in every direction, and a smaller, frontal cowlick (or tuft) of hair partially hanging over his forehead. He has slanted, slit pupiled, dark blue eyes; above the right one is a thin, diagonal scar. Sting's left ear is adorned with an earring which, in itself, is attached to by a prominent metal pendant that is crystalline in shape. He has a white Sabertooth mark is located on his left shoulder. He wears a light-colored jacket with dark-colored clothing protruding from the inside, with the collar pointed upwards; his new jacket still retains the feather boa. He also his arms are covered by dark blue gloves reaching up to his mid-bicep, with their upper edges being adorned by light gray bands hanging down several centimeters. Sting Eucliffe, Guild Master of the Guild known as Sabertooth.
"You have a point Sting. When I came out of those creatures shadows, I somehow felt what drives them. Nothing but pure instinct and pure evil." Said the other man with Sting. The other male begin with Sting is is a slim young man of average height with rather messy black hair, which almost reaches down to his shoulders, along with some strands pointing upwards on top of his head and a prominent tuft obscuring most of his forehead, with some of his hair bangs being brushed to the right side of his face. And his eyes color is red. And has a scar on his nose. He wears a blue coat with straps around his arms. And his blue coat has light grey lines on it with white buttons on front area. He wears brown leather boots and also wears white pants. This is Rogue Cheney.
"What do you think the chances are that Natsu is possibly facing what ever is causing this?" Asked Sting.
"Knowing how reckless Natsu and Fairy Tail can be, I say that possibility of that happening is very high. Heck, I wouldn't put it pass Natsu if he was facing a demon god that the cause of all this." Said Rogue as he smile while saying that.
Sting giggles while smirking. "Hehe. That sure does sound like Natsu." Said Sting.
"Sting!" Said a male voice approaching.
"Rogue!" Said another male voice.
Sting turns around to see two familiar face approaching. "Hehe. Lector. Frosch. What you guys going here?" Asked Sting.
"We came to see if you two are alright since you two just zoomed out of the guild when it turned night time." Said the male voice. He appearance is that of a small, mildly anthropomorphous cat standing on his rear legs, with his two front legs acting as hands of sort. His fur seems to be dark brown in color, with most of his body being red, but his face, belly, paws and the end of his long tail being pink. He has large, pointed ears, and prominent tufts of dark fur jutting outwards in correspondence to his cheekbones, where his whiskers are. He wears a white karate gi outfit with black paw marks on each side on gi outfit on the frontside. And wears a blue ribbon belt around his waist. This is Lector.
Sting rubs the back of his head while nervously giggling. "Hehe. Sorry about that Lector." Said Sting.
Rogue gently picks up the other guy and has a happy smile on his lips. "Hehe. Sorry for worrying you buddy. As you can see, I am perfectly fine. So there is nothing to worry about." Said Rogue.
"I thinks so too." Said the male voice. He is a small, long-tailed, green anthropomorphic cat that can stand on its hind legs. He has large, round eyes, each complete with a pair of prominent eyelashes, and rosy cheeks. The entirety of his body, aside from his face, is covered by a pink frog-like suit, of which the vast majority is covered by black spots. The suit sports a plain belly, webbed hands, and a hood which forms the frog's head, complete with two beady eyes resting on the hood. This is Frosh.
"So what is the rest of the guild doing?" asked Sting.
"They are doing their own patrols around the city and outside of the area too. They managed to defeat some monsters that look slightly bigger and meaner than the last bunch." Said Lector.
"Its true." Said Frosch.
"I see. Well, our patrol around here is done for now. Come on, lets go check on the others and see if they need some back up." Said Sting as he begins to walk back to city where their guild is.
"Right behind you Sting." Said Rogue as he walks beside his friend, along with Lector and Frosch, as they begin to walk back to check on their friends. Even if they talk about if Natsu and the others are facing the cause of this, they have no idea how right they really are or what the dangers is really going on in Sonic World.
Sonic World, In the Skies...
Our main hero's continues to fly in the air all the way to Spagonia. Along the way, the sun light begins to rise above the horizon. And when the sun light hits Sonic, it turns him back into his normal appearance. He is just glad to be back to normal during the day.
"You doing okay Sonic?" asked Lucy.
"Yeah, I am doing okay Lucy. I am just glad that I am able to turn back to normal during the day time. And plus the transformation during this adventure are starting to become less stressful and painful at the same time." Said Sonic as he wiggles his gloved fingers while smirking.
"I am glad to hear that." Said Lucy.
"Agreed." Said Erza.
"How long until we get there?" asked Wendy as she had Carla, back in her cat form, flies closer to the plane to ask Sonic that question.
"Not long I hope. Right Tails?" Asked Sonic.
"Right. And according to my calculations, we should see the city up ahead." Said Tails as he points ahead.
Up ahead, they can see a large clearing in the clouds. When they fly over that clearing, they can see a large city below them. A very architecture city that looks beautiful. Both the buildings and the streets too. They fly over a few large clock towers that was also included in the city. They can see people down there. Humans and Mobians alike. They can make out that some of the clothes the population are wearing are very architecture and moderns too.
"Amazing... " Said Erza as she amazed on what she is seeing with her own two eyes.
"Whooooa..." Said Chip.
"That is a very big city below." Said Gray.
"Hehe. I think they are starting to like this place Tails. Find a place for everyone to land okay?" Asked Sonic.
"Roger that Sonic." Said Tails as he holds on the controls and begins to steer the Tornado 1 around to find a good spot for him and the others to land and then be able to walk around the city.
Spagonia...
BGM: Sonic Unleashed Ost- "Spagonia Hub Day"
After landing a good spot for Tails and the others to land, they begin to walk on the street of Spagonia. Each member of Team Natsu begins to look at awe the design and structure of each building. And including the shops they walk by. It was totally something that they are going to remember for the rest of their life's.
"Wow! I never seen like this before." Said Natsu.
"Aye sir!" Said Happy.
"Wow, the city's so big and pretty~!" Wendy and Lucy squealed in sync with sparkles in their eyes, admiring the beauty of the city everywhere they look.
"I'll say!" Sonic grinned, tucking his hands behind his head. "This place is taking beauty to the next level."
"Now we just gotta see the Professor," Tails said. "Let's see, the school he teaches should be around her somewhere."
"Excuse me, you all are looking for the University?" asked a female voice. They turned to their left to see a sheep Mobian with a nice yellow dress and heels on.
"Yes we are. Do you know where it is?" Asked Lucy.
"Of course I do. Follow this street and you shall see a building that is behind a water fountain." Said the sheep Mobian.
"Thank you." Said Wendy as she bows in a respectful way to the nice lady who helped them out.
They took the nice sheep Mobian advice and follow the street they are on. They slowly turned around a couple of corners to finally reach where they needed to go. A small flight of stairs going up, which goes around a water fountain. And up the steps is a large stone building with some stone pillars near the main entrance. They looked at each other and nod their head as they begin to head up the steps and go into the University.
BGM End
Spagonia University...
The moment they enter the University and begins to ask around for where Professor Pickle is, it was not good news. "WHAT?! Professor Pickle's been kidnapped!?" Tails questioned. They were in a room that looks like a study with some books on shelves. And the entire area looks like it was trashed and like something came in and damaged the place.
"You got to be kidding me!" Said Carla.
"When did this happened?" Asked Wendy.
The one that told Tails about this info is a man that is wearing a light asparagus jacket with dark olive green edges, maize sweater vest with metallic gold collar and a white shirt. He currently wears a dark olive green tie around his neck. He wears a nice pair of dark olive green pants and has some light asparagus socks and brown shoes on his feet. This is the Professor Pickle's Assistant
"It happened before the tremors happened." Said Professor Pickle's Assistant as he answered Wendy question.
"Can you remember what this being that took the Professor?" asked Erza.
"Yeah I can remember. There was this old man showed up with a..." He paused to motion with his hands on how big and slightly bloated the old man stomach was. "And a..." He motions his hands near his face to indicate that this man has some kind of mustache. "And a whole pack of robots! They carried poor Professor Pickle off, lab data and all!" He finished explaining to them.
"Oh no..." Happy gasped, covering his mouth in shock.
"It can't be..." Tails muttered sadly.
"That sure sounds like Eggman," Sonic frowned, the others nodding in agreement.
"Not doubt about it! I never seen Eggman before but if he did this, then I am seriously going to give him a piece of my mind!" Natsu snarled, popping his knuckles.
"What a horrible thing to do!" Chip cried. "We've gotta hurry and help that Professor guy out, and FAST! If he got kidnapped that long ago, he's gotta be REAL hungry by now! And-and if I was that hungry, I-I don't know how long I would last! I'D RATHER BE DEAD!" Chip then collapses on the ground, losing consciousness with his soul flying out of his body. Chip soul tries to say something but can't speak and notice that he is not in his body at the moment and tries to fly back inot his body again.
"I-I'm sure Eggman's feeding him," Tails reassured. "Even he's not that cruel."
"Nice to know that even Eggman has some standards." Said Lucy.
Chip soul returns into his body and just in time when Sonic has come up with a plan of action of what to do now.. "Okay, let's go and find the Professor!" Sonic said.
"Yeah!" Said Team Natsu and Tails.
Spagonia...
After they left the University, Tails turns to face the others. "C'mon, guys! Lets go and ask around the Professor!" Tails told them. "It's a big town, I'm sure that somebody knows something."
"And where do you think we should start?" Asked Sonic.
"I think we should spilt up. Cover more ground that way." Said Tails.
"Good plan Tails. I highly doubt that when Eggman took Professor Pickle, he wasn't discreet and sneaky. Someone must have spotted him." Said Erza as she crosses her arms.
"Okay then. Lets split up." Said Sonic as he and the others begins to split up to ask around town.
When Natsu tries to ask a cat Mobian and a dog Mobian, they told Natsu that they didn't see the Professor. When Erza tries to ask a nice old lady, the kind old human lady kindly tells Erza she didn't see anything. Gray didn't have much either as he tries to ask a random couple and got nothing. Same thing for Happy and Carla and Wendy when they tried to ask a Mobian that looks like a bird. Lucy was about to give up on her search when she was approached by a small human girl.
"Excuse me miss? You look troubled." Said the kind female kid.
Lucy slightly gets on her knees to talk to her better. "You can say that. Have you seen Professor Pickle or where he could have been taken?" Asked Lucy.
"Professor? Oh I saw a Professor. He was flying to Mazuri. And there were a ton of machine monsters too." Said the nice girl kid.
'Machine monsters. Must be Eggman robots.' Thought Lucy. "Thank you. You helped me so much. Now you go stay safe okay?" Asked Lucy as she gently rubs the girls hair whole giggles from that and nods her head before leaving the area.
Everyone regroups back at Tails plane. They saw Lucy running over to them. "Guys, I think I know where Eggman took the Professor. A place called Mazuri." Said Lucy.
"Mazuri?" Asked Natsu.
"Yeah. A nice girl told me about that." Said Lucy.
"Perfect. Then our next place to look is at Mazuri. I already finished tuning up the Tornado. Lets head there right away." Said Tails with a thumps up which everyone nods to Tails suggestion.
Mazuri, Night...
A few hours later, they managed to arrive to their destination by flight. But the problem is that is the night time, and thus, Sonic was back in his Werehog form once more. And like last time, the transformation into his Werehog form is not as painful as before. "Ugh... I am still not going to get use to this ever." Said Sonic before hoping off the Tornado 1.
"Whoa..." Said Natsu as he sees a tribal like village. With some of the houses they see are like made out of clay or dried mud. And that there what looks to be a shop inside of a tree up ahead. "This place looks cool."
"Excuse me." Said a young boy voice. They turned turned to see a young kid that is named Kwod. "You all are not around here are you? Is this your first time visiting Mazuri?" asked Kwod.
"Yes. Yes we are. We are here on important business. Have you seen a professor around here?" asked Erza.
"P...Professor? Sorry never heard of that before. Maybe you should ask around the village. I am pretty sure someone here must have seen the person you are looking for." Said Kwod.
"Thanks kid." Said Gray as he is very generous of this.
Giving this small chance they have, they begin to ask around the village, both human and Mobian alike. " What do you want?! Do you know what time it is?!" Asked a old man village chief that is named Gwek.
"We are looking for the Professor." Said Lucy.
"Hm? You're looking for a 'professor'? What's that? I am sure it's quite delicious, whatever it is." Said Gwek.
Lucy has some anger tick marks appearing on her forehead. "NO! The Professor is a person! Not a food!" Said Lucy as she is getting angry at this old man.
"Anyhow, there is no 'professor' here. GO look someplace else!" Said Gwek.
Lucy was about to shout at this man, if wasn't for Sonic grabbing her by the waist with his stretchy arms and pulls her away from the old man. "Easier there Lucy. Lets not loose our temper." Said Sonic.
"Pssst... Psst." Said a male voice. They turned to see a human being waving over to them. They walked a little bit closer to him. "You guys must have come here from somewhere far away. My name is Yawa" Said the boy named Yawa.
"Okay... Yawa. Have you seen anything out of the ordinary? Like say a person begin kidnapped by a evil man named Eggman or something that wasn't there before?" asked Sonic.
"Well.. there is this one thing that I saw. A strange structure that appeared out of the blue. It was not there before. And I saw it clearly." Said Yawa.
"Can you remember where you last saw this place?" Asked Wendy.
"Yeah. It just passed the Savannah Citadel." Said Yawa as he points ahead outside of the village. The group turns around slightly to see some kind of structure out in the distance.
"The strange building Yawa saw must be Eggman related building. We have to check it out. That could be where the Professor is." Said Tails as he is hoping that might be the case.
"We will have to check it out. Thanks dude." Said Sonic as he thanks Yawa before running in that direction, with his friends follow behind Sonic.
Savannah Citadel...
BGM: Sonic Unleashed Ost- "Savannah Citadel Night"
The group goes the way the nice from the village pointed. They saw something that give them a little bit of a shiver up their spines. There were bodies of dead robots littered along the path way, indicating that Sonic and Team Natsu are getting close.
"We must be getting close." Said Sonic as he taps one of the broken robots that Eggman created, which are called Egg Fighter.
"How can you tell?" asked Lucy as she just picks up the head of one the many trashed and destroyed robots in the area.
"Where there is robots, there is Eggbots. And where their is Eggbots, that means that Eggman base must be close by." Said Sonic as they slowly come to a sand and dried mud entrance, with a small fence blocking the entrance. Sonic grabs the fence and pulls it out of the ground and toss it to the side, so it won't be in the way anymore.
"Take it from Sonic long life of battles against Eggman. Sonic knows how Eggman likes to prepare himself, even though he can't beat Sonic." Said Tails as he tells an amazing fact about Sonic.
Slowly going through the open entrance, our heroes finally arrived at the Savannah Citadel, which looks mostly a gigantic citadel-like building that is made out of sand and mud. And at the main entrance is closed off. And around the main area to the entrance, was a scattered graveyard of broken and destroyed robots.
"Whoa... something destroyed these robots before we even got a chance." said Gray.
"But what did the damage to these robots is the question." Said Erza.
Suddenly earth beneath them slightly shakes. It seems like they will get their answer soon as a bunch of new dark creatures appeared out of the ground. These creatures mostly resemble a dandelion with a single flower. They have cyan and true blue leaves and flower stalks with carnation pink spots, and carnation pink florets. These are called Evil Flowers. And they begin to hiss at the heroes before releasing a bunch of a pink ball of dark energy at them.
"You just had to ask." Said Sonic
"Sorry." Said Erza before they had dodged the incoming attacks.
"Stupid plants! I will show you what happens when you mess with Fairy Tail! Fire Dragon Roar!" Said Natsu as he takes a deep breath and releases a fire stream of flames from his mouth. Which burns the Evil Flowers in seconds. Leaving the plants become nothing but ashes.
"Whoa... you burned them all down!" Said Chip as he is amazed on seeing that.
"I think you kinda went a little bit overboard." Said Sonic.
"That's Natsu for ya." Said Happy.
Tails walks up to the closed door and tries to push on it or tries to lift it up. But after a second, Tails gives up on trying that and breaths hard while placing his hands on his knees. "It won't move. Its stuck." Said Tails only to duck his head as Natsu punches the door and creates a large hole on it.
"Not stuck anymore." Said Natsu before he climbs through the hole in the door.
"Does he always smash first and ask question later?" asked Tails as he follows Natsu through the hole.
Sonic hops through the hole, while Chip, Carla and Happy flies through it easily. The others just walks through it, while being careful. "Yep. That is just how Natsu always is. He can go overboard a little bit sometimes." Said Lucy.
As they walked a little bit into the Citadel, they notice that it was big on the inside. And it was slightly bigger and taller than they originally thought. "It will take us forever to find our way out to here. Let alone spot Eggman base." Said Gray.
Sonic looks left and right to find a way out of this place. HE then looks straight up and see some rooftops on the Citadel. He rubs his chin before coming up a idea. "Why don't we just climb up to the top?" asked Sonic.
"Huh?" Asked the entire team.
A second later, everyone, including the people that can fly, begins to climb certain areas on the parts of the Citadel where you can latch onto. As they continue to climb upward, they will soon reach up a rooftop up ahead. The reason they do this, is to avoid a long and confusing trip through this place. And possible to avoid any ambushes from either Eggman robots or those dark creatures. After a few more minutes of climbing, they begin to get closer to the rooftop they are about to reach.
BGM End.
After climbing on a slightly big rooftop on this Citadel, the group had suddenly run into a new kind of monster. This is one is not a flower monster like the last one. This one is a new one as it slowly crawls out of the shadows like a hunter. This is a very large creature, about four meters tall, with oxford blue and cyan skin with magenta glowing markings. They have a goofy look, and a large belly with a large mouth stretching across it. They have rather large feet, with the upper parts of their legs covered by their stomachs, and long sleek arms. They have no visible neck, curved spike-shaped appendages on their shoulders and upper backs, and horns on their forehead. One of Dark Gaia minions, Big Mother.
BGM: Sonic Unleashed Ost-"Night Battle Music Mini-Boss"
When Big Mother sees the group, it roars out loud from its big stomach mouth. And then it produces and spits out a herd of Little Rexes, which roar in return upon seeing the group.
"Well... this just got a lot more freaky." Said Sonic.
"You could say that again Sonic!" Said Tails.
"And its gross to see that thing just spawn more of those little guys." Said Lucy as she is slightly freaked out on seeing that with her own eyes.
"I got a plan on how to handle that blob thing. Natsu, Happy, Carla, and Wendy. I am going to need your help on this. Lucy, Tails, Erza, and Gray you take care of the little ones." Said Sonic.
"What are you going to do?" asked Lucy as she pulls out her weapon, a magical whip called the Fleuve d'étoiles. Then a a stream of eerily blue celestial matter comes forth from the handle and is surrounded by orange-white light that twists around its entire length comes out of the handle.
"Same. I am curious Sonic." Said Gray as he creates a ice sword to hold in his right hand.
"We are going to take care of the big guy. And make sure that it doesn't create more of those little guys." Said Sonic as he punches his own fists together.
"Hehe. Now you are speaking my language! I am all fired up now!" Said Natsu.
"Aye sir!" Said Happy as he grabs onto Natsu back for when they need to do air damage on the Big Mother creature. Lucy, Gray and Erza then charges at the Little Rexes. Lucy begins to use her Fleuve d'étoiles to strike at the little creatures, while Gray uses his ice sword to slash at the ones that Lucy knocks away. And at the same time, Erza changes back her Heavens Wheel Armor to zoom by any Little Rexes remaining to slashes them with the swords she summoned in the air and strikes them all at once. And Tails uses his twin tails to slap at any Little Rexes that get too close to him or the others.
The Big Mother left arm stretches to Natsu, who had Happy to fly away from the attack. And the Big Mother jumps forward a bit and then slams its fists on the ground hard. Letting a small shockwave on the ground towards Wendy. Carla managed to get Wendy out of the blast zone while Sonic just jumps over it.
Sonic runs up to the creature and tries slashing and punching at the Big Mother. But the Big Mother was hardly affected by the attack and just grabs Sonic and then tosses Sonic away on the ground. Sonic bounces on the ground from that toss attack. Hurting him a bit. He gets back up on his feet slowly. "Okay... this thing is tough." Said Sonic.
"Lets see how tough it really is! Fire Dragon..." Said Natsu as he takes in a very deep breath.
"I wanna give this thing a beating too! Sky Dragon..." Said Wendy as she takes in a deep breath.
"ROAR!" Said Wendy and Natsu at the same time. They released their signature roar attack as it combines in a fire and wind combo. The combined attack hits the Big Mother straight on who just stares at the attack before it hit Big Mother. When Natsu and Wendy ends their combined attack, they can see that Big Mother doesn't have a single scratch or injury on its body.
"What!?" Asked Natsu.
"Even with a combined attack, it didn't hurt it?" Asked a nervous Wendy.
"Do you think this thing skin might be tough?" asked Happy.
"Maybe you are correct Happy. Maybe that is the reason why it didn't move out of the way from your attacks. Because it knows it can take it head on." Said Carla.
"Great... a monster that has tough skin. Just perfect. Where could its weakness be!?" Asked Sonic.
The Big Mother creature suddenly reals both of its arms back before launching them at Natsu, Happy, Wendy and Carla and grabs at them tightly. Making the trying to wiggle out of its grip as the creature brings its arms closers to its face with its caught prey. To intimated its caught victims, the Big Mother mouth stomach slowly opens up and roars loudly at them.
"HEY! No one is going to eat my friends!" Said Sonic as he charges at the creature and pounces on its face. The sudden action, plus feeling Sonic on its face, makes it hard to see and tries to shake off Sonic while letting go of Sonic freinds from its grasp. As it continues to try to shake off Sonic, it continues to walk close to the edge of the rooftop. IT takes one step off, and it begins to slowly fall to the ground with Sonic dealing some scratches and punches on its face. Not afraid falling to the ground with this creature.
"Sonic!" Screams Wendy and Natsu as they went after them, with Happy and Carla carrying them to go after Sonic. Hearing the two scream out Sonic name, and seeing Sonic falling to the ground while beating the Big Mother in the process makes them follow their lead. Tails grabs Lucy hands and begins to spin his tails fast as he could and begins to lift Lucy in the air and begins to follow them. Gray used his Ice magic to create a spiral ice slide going to the ground level. While making the slide a bit of fun for Gray and Erza.
Sonic continues to try to defeat this creature before the crashed into the ground. But not one single one of Sonic attacks begins to damage the creature body. But when Sonci sees its mouth stomach, Sonic gets a idea. Sonic grabs both ends of the stomach mouth and forces it open. And then dives into it without a single thought of hesitation. Inside of the creature body, Sonic begins to deal heavy damaged within. It begins to shake and bounce Big Mother a lot. As it can it feel the damage and flinch from it. Sonic deals one more big blow, forcing it to open its mouth and Sonic jumps out just in time to grab onto a tree branch, and swings a bit before landing on the ground safely and lets out a victory roar as the Big Mother creature crashes behind him and slowly disappears in a puff of smoke, signaling its defeat.

"Well, that was gross." Said Sonic as he brushed his fur just in case he got a bit of that things slime on him.
"Sonic!" Said everyone as Sonic sees them approaching him after landing on the ground.
"Are you okay?" asked Wendy as she runs up to him quickly to check to see if he has any injuries.
"I am okay. I just managed to find that creature weak spot and defeat it as fast as I could." Said Sonic as he smirks.
"Don't do that again. Don't make us worry." Said Lucy.
"You know I can't promise something like that." Said Sonic.
"So... are we getting close to that Eggman base?" asked Erza.
"Yeah, because of our 'shortcut', we should be there soon." Said Sonic.
BGM: Fairy Tail - Natsu's Theme Ost
"Is that the place?" Asked Natsu. He points ahead to see a strange metal building that looks very advance with small sphere like structures connected on top of each other with a metal pillar. And then at the last second, a massive squad of Egg Fighters with metal shields and some having swords appeared from the sky and landed in the main way in.
"Wow... that is a ton of robots." Said Happy.
"Yep. A massive wave of robots. So Eggman style." Said Sonic.
"A last stand against us?" asked Erza.
"Yep. Eggman possibly had this ready just in case someone came along to save the Professor." Said Tails.
"This Eggman fellow... really has a ego problem." Said Carla as she sweatdrops a bit on her forehead.
"I see... then lets take these metal machines of Eggman down to the ground! Requip!" Said Erza as her body begins to reequip into one of the many armors she has.
After the glow dies down, Erza was in a armor that was new to Sonic and Tails and Chip. The armor Erza now has on now is predominantly dark red in color, but also has orange and black parts, with the orange parts being shaped like flames and the other parts being reminiscent of Dragon's limbs. It consists of the following parts: the breastplate, the gauntlets and the greaves. The breastplate lacks pauldrons, revealing Erza's shoulders, and extends down to cover her groin, revealing her legs and, in a way, being reminiscent of a one piece swimming suit, with an orange part covering her breasts and another one circling her waist like a belt. The black parts are mostly decorative, with the exception of the one covering her groin. The breastplate also possesses a pair of Dragon-like wings attached to it. The gauntlets sport prominent orange decorations, along with small claw-like protrusions on the hands. The greaves are shaped like Dragon's claws which possess orange-colored knee guards and black parts which extend up from the knees to the upper part of the thighs. In addition to all of this, while donning this outfit, Erza's hair is tied into a pair of high, long pigtails by clips, resembling Dragon's horns in some way. "Flame Empress Armor!" Said Erza as she summons a large sword which is mostly dark red in color, with the exception of a small sliver of black in the middle, and bears orange decorations on its hand guard in her right hand.
Lucy pulls out the Celestial key that summons Taurus. "I agree. We can't waste time here. Star Dress!" Said Lucy as she placed the key that is in her hand that begins to glow golden into her chest. Her body begins to glow a golden colored for a second before it calms down. When the light calms down, it revealed Lucy in a new outfit. Her is an outfit consisting of a bra and sleeves with a cow pattern and pants that leave her right leg entirely revealed. She also dons a pair of gloves and boots as well as a belt where Taurus Zodiac sign is located and a bag around her waist. While sporting this dress she uses her hair in two buns, one at each side of her head abut also leaving some hair hanging. Lucy also carries her whip with her in this form. "Taurus Form!" Said Lucy as she holds the whip in her hands tightly.
"I agree. Lets hurry this up before more show up. Or more of those weird dark creatures." Said Gray as he slam his hand into his palm and ice begins to form from his hands.
"Hehehe. Lets just see how strong these stupid robots are against members of Fairy Tail!" Said Natsu as sparks of embers comes out of the corner of his mouth.
"Stay back Chip. Don't want you to get hurt." Said Sonic as he warns his friend.
"Right!" Said Chip as he backs up a bit from the incoming fight and slightly hides behind a tree.
"Let go!" Said Wendy as everyone begins to charge at the large horde of robots.
"Ice Make: Knuckle!" Said Gray as he creates a large bunch of ice human hand knuckles underneath a bunch of unexpected robots, and sends them flying in the air high. "And now... Ice Make: Arrows!" Said Gray as he creates a large ice bow and fires a bunch of ice arrows at high speeds that sent flying to each robot in the air and the arrow pierced right through them and exploded into million of pieces.
Erza charges at the robots with swords. She lets a battle yell as she has her sword coated with flames. When she got close to them, she lets out another battle roar as she swings her flaming sword at them. In a single moment, the flames she controls, she sends a massive of flames towards the robots. The robots eye circuits widen in shock and tries to run away but they were quickly burned to a puddle of molten metal in a matter of seconds.
"Sky Dragon... Crushing Fang!" Said Wendy as she had Carla fly her in the air and dive bombs towards a bunch of robots. She has whirlwinds gathered around her right hand. When she got close to them, she strikes them with the tip of her fingers nails, leaving a large trail of wind on their bodies before the robots short circuited and then exploded.
Lucy narrows her eyes at seeing a bunch of Eggman robots with shields and sword surrounded her in a large circle. "You think numbers are going to save you? Think again! Crush Wave!" Said Lucy as she strikes the ground with her whip. The moment it did, the ground beneath each robot begins to rupture and cause the robots to be launched in the air before crashing into the ground hard and exploded. With only one managed to survive the attack. Lucy reals her fist back and then a incoming left punch towards the robot. The Egg Fighter panics and tries to pick up one its comrades shields to defend itself. But Lucy fist punches right through the shield and tries into the robot head and crushes the robot head into a small metal ball.
Happy holds onto his best buddy back and flies him into the air. Natsu looks down to see a bunch of robots staring right at him. Both of Natsu fists becomes coated with flames. "With a flame on the right hand... and a flame on the left hand..." Said Natsu as he slowly brings his two flaming hands together above his head. "When you combine the flames together..." He paused as he created a large sphere of flames above his head. "Fire Dragon's Brilliant Flame!" He hurls the large flaming ball towards the robots bellow. When it comes into contact, the giant flame ball exploded and it either destroyed them or knocked them away into tries that will fall on top of the robots and destroy them.
Tails grunts a bit and narrows his eyes at some of the Egg Fighters. He curls up into a ball and begins to spins really fast into like a yellow-orange spinning ball with his twin tails somehow poking out. Tails then Spin Dash at the robots like they are bowling pins and Tails was the Bowling ball. He crashes into them, knocking them down onto the ground. When the robots crashed into the ground, they shut down, due to landing on their faces first. Tails stops his attack to admire the damage he did to Egg Fighters with a big prideful smile on his lips.
Sonic charges at all fours towards the last remaining robots. He jumps in the air and gest on top of one of the Egg Fighters. He stretches out both of arms to grab two Egg Fighters. He then stomp hard on the head of the Egg Fighter he was on and jumps off before it explodes. Sonic then begins to spin in a cycle, while using the two Egg Fighters in his hands to hit the remaining Egg Fighters robots. Like using robots to destroy robots move. And then Sonic slams his hands together to crushes the Egg Fighters he had and them crushes them in a giant metal ball and then kicks it away from his sight. Sonic lets out a small sigh as he pats his hands together.
"Alright that is all of them." Said Sonic as he takes a look around to see all the trashed and burned robots they have taken care off. "You can come out Chip."
"Really? I can't believe you guys got rid of all the robots." Said Chip as he comes out of his hiding spot and flies over to his friends.
"You sure? I was hoping there was going to be more." Said Natsu.
"Trust me. When it comes to Eggman, he always have more. But lets go get the Professor and get out of here." Said Sonic.
"He has a point." Said Gray to Natsu, who just grumbles in a angry tone.
"Fine..." Said Natsu.
After he said that, everyone turns their attention to the now undefended Eggman Secret base. With no more robots to defend or guard it, this leads a opportunity for Sonic and his friends to head to the base and find Professor Pickle.

Eggman Secret Mazuri Base...
They reached to a advance slide metal door. Natsu punch's it hard into it bends out of shape and flies off its hinges and flies into the room wall.
After Natsu clearing a pathway for them, they ran inside a large room with a cell that holds a old man inside of it. He is a middle-aged man with fair skin. He has gray hair and very large eyebrows that cover his eyes. He wears a coat with brown buttons, pants and brown shoes. Below is a white shirt with a red bow. This is Professor Pickle.
"Professor Pickle! Are you alright? We've got here as fast as we could!" Tails called out to him as he, Happy, Carla and Chip takes to the air a bit to hover close to his prison cell. When they get close to his prison cell, they see him staring at a sandwich of some sort.
"Professor Pickle?" Carla called out to him, but no response.
"Uh...hello?" Happy added.
"My word, how dare they call this culinary concoction food? Do you see this sorry excuse for a sandwich?" Professor Pickle questioned. "The bread should be no less than a 3/4 of an inch thick. Upon it, one tablespoon of mayonnaise and a pinch of black pepper. The contents: fresh cucumber, sliced thinly. If you please! Am I quite right Tails?"
Tails, including Sonic and Team Natsu gave him blank stares. The professor seemed surprisingly relaxed despite knowing that he's being held prisoner.
"Uh...what?" Natsu said, dumbfounded.
"I didn't understand one bit of what he just said." Said Gray.
"Me either." Said Lucy.
"I know I've learned something here today!" Chip said happily.
"P-Professor, it's good to see you haven't changed..." Tails sighed.
"But tell me, what brings you here?" The professor asked, standing up. "The menu's hardly worth the trip if you ask me."
Everyone just face palmed in exasperation from hearing that. Does the Professor not realize that they came here to save him?
"No-no Professor! We came here to rescue you!" Tails said as he pressed a giant green button to open the Professor's cell, setting him free.
"Oh? Oh! I see, how rude of me." Said The Professor
"Took him long enough if you ask me." Lucy muttered under her breath.
When the cell that the Professor was on the ground and formed some steps for him walk down, The Professor Pickle gently out of his cell. "Right, first things first! It's about time someone taught the chief here how to make a proper sandwich!" Said the Professor as he was about to march and walk to the kitchen before he was stopped by Wendy, who places her arms out in a stop motion to stop Professor Pickle.
"You can file a complaint later Professor!" Wendy said, blocking his path.
"Let's get outta here before Eggman's welcoming committee shows up." Sonic spoke up. Professor Pickle turns to him, nodding in agreement.
"Oh, yes, quite. But let us be sure to collect the contents of that vault before departing." As he points to a metal vault near by that was in the same room they are in.
Sonic nods his head. Understanding what he needs to do, Sonic reels his arm back, shoots his fist forward towards the vault and then, Sonic fist completely smashes the vault open into pieces. Tails then flew inside the vault and grabs the stolen data that Eggman stolen before flying out of the vault and shows them to the Professor.
"Ah, thank you. Those documents are our only hope of surviving this crisis." Professor Pickles said as he walked forward. "Let's go. There's no time to lose. I'm half-starved after being fed nothing but those terrible sandwiches."
Chip flew up in front of the Professor and held out a chocolate bar. "Want some chocolate Professor?"
"My, my! Don't mind if I do." Professor Pickle said, happily accepting the chocolate.
"Where does he even keep them?" Gray whispered in Sonic's ear.
"Beats me." Sonic shrugged before they exit the cell.
Professor Pickle Study...
By time they've reached Spagonia, it was night time as Sonic and the others were in the library listening to Professor Pickle while Chip was sitting on Erza lap drinking tea and Natsu was scarfing down some cooked fish that Happy had in his backpack and cooked it slightly with his fire to just a right level. While leaving some raw fish for Happy to eat.
"These ancient documents are known as the Gaia Manuscripts. They tell the legend of a disaster that befell our planet some tens of thousands of years ago." Said Professor Pickle.
"A disaster?" Tails parroted.
"Thousands of years ago?" Asked Lucy as she also repeats what she just heard from the professor lips. Everyone else, but Chip, perked up at this as well.
"Quite. And according to the Gaia Manuscripts...this isn't the first time the planet has been broken apart into pieces." Said Professor Pickle as he slightly moves the scroll to reveal a picture of the Earth shattering into pieces, and a diagram of showing the land cracking and splitting apart with the wild life and human drawings on it showing them that they are in fear of what is happening.
Everybody again, except Chip, gasped in horror upon hearing this and looked at each other while gasping in horror.. The Professor took a big sip of his tea before putting his tea cup down gently as he continued.
"The cause lies at the very core of the planet. All of the phenomena we've witnessed are the direct result of one creature: the hyper-energy organism spawned at the planet's core, Dark Gaia." Said the Professior as he reveals another diagram picture on the scroll that reveals the inside of the planet, revealing a dark swirl of energy, swirling around the planet core.
Carla felt an uncomfortable shiver run down her spine as she heard that name. She starts thinking back to the monster that she saw in her vision before she and the others got transported to Sonic world.
'Dark Gaia...so that's what it's called...' Thought Carla.
Professor Pickle takes another sip of his tea. "What Eggman done to awaken Dark Gaia is possible the reason you Natsu and your friends were brought here. I theorize that the device Eggman must likely have used must have tear a fracture in time and space. Which..." Said The Professor.
"Must have created that portal that brought us to Sonic world. It all make sense now." Said Wendy.
"So how do we stop this 'Dark Gaia' and put Sonic world back together?" Gray asked.
"Luckily, Dark Gaia has yet to be fully reborn. We most likely have Dr. Eggman's pre-mature wake-up call to thank for that. If we act now, we may be able to restore the planet by returning the power to the Chaos Emeralds," as the Professor said this, Sonic pulled out one of the Chaos Emeralds.
"Sonic, you and the others must travel to each of the temples listed in the Gaia Manuscripts. The planet's power will restore the Chaos Emeralds, and in turn the Chaos Emeralds will restore the planet and help it heal naturally." Said the Professor as he finished explaining the mission to them.
"Roger that Professor. You can count on us." Said Sonic as he nods his head.
"You got nothing to worry about. Not with Fairy Tail on the case!" Said Natsu as he punch's his fists together with a smirk on his lips.
"Where should we start first?" Asked Gray.
"Well, according the Gaia Manuscripts, the first temple is located back in Mazuri. That is where you should start first." Said The Professor.
"Sounds a place to start looking. You ready guys?" asked Sonic as he asked his friends.
"Heck yeah!" Said Team Natsu and Tails.
"Aye sir!" Said Happy.
Ending:
The Ending scene starts with Sonic in his Werehog form looking towards the starry night with Chip floating next to him.

The next scene shows Were-Sonic walking under the moonlight with images of his friends and the ones from Fairy Tail going from left to right above Were-Sonic and Chip.

The next scene shows Sonic in his normal form and Chip as they stare out to the sea before they both turned to see Natsu, Happy and the other waving at them with smiles on their faces. Sonic and Chip looked at them for a moment before they both grinned big as the headed towards their friends.

The final scene shows a still image of Sonic running towards the Fairy Tail group with with his signature smirk and Chip following him with a big smile on his face. The scene transitions to the Title of the story; "Sonic X Fairy Tail: Unleashed".
