Chapter 6: not the only one
Much like every other day after school, many of the students head over to the local Nasty Burger. Much like any other day, all the students that were there were talking with their friends…..well…
"Ok, that will be $25.89, sir. And would you like it for here or to go?" was the question of the regular female cashier.
Danny opened his mouth to say his usual "for here" but his mood dropped as he spoke otherwise. "To go."
The cashier paused for a second as she saw Danny as a regular and one of the more polite customers she had to deal with from the ones coming from Casper High. even though he hadn't been at this establishment in a while, she still saw him as one of the usuals. After all the time that he came here, this was the first time that he had ever said: "to go". She shifted her gaze to the booth that Danny and Tucker would usually sit at to see the African American boy already there and already eating. "Are you sure, sir?"
Danny sighed as he looked over his shoulder before shifting it back to the cashier with a depressed yet resolute expression. "Yeah." Danny pulled out his wallet and paid for the meal.
She could tell that something had happened but it wasn't her place to pry. "Very well, sir." she took the money and ripped off the receipt before handing it to the boy
Danny took it and moved to the side as he looked at the number at the top of the receipt so he would know when his order was done. He leaned on the wall and just waited for his number to be called.
This didn't go unnoticed by many of the other students in the fast-food place. They had noticed that for the past two weeks, the loser duo was no longer seen together like they usually were. Rumors started to spread saying that the two had a falling out in their friendship and that they were no longer friends. Many different reasons were thrown about what could have done it. Many were ridiculous when you think about them
They found a body that had a suitcase full of money and they fought over who got the most and they split.
They both fell for the same girl and they fought over who gets to ask her out. Paulina was the one that started this one and smirked at the idea that she would string them along just so she could shoot them both down.
Others said that it was all an act and they would just randomly say "just kidding" but so far there was no sign of them doing that
Despite how the rumors kept going, Danny ignored them all as he knew the real reason. Tucker never saw them as friends. He just saw Danny as nothing. The ghost beast that Tucker had in him let Tucker's true feelings come out and the thing that hurt Danny the most was that he thought that they were thick as thieves. 'Guess not.' throughout the time he didn't hang out with Tucker he had time to think about the dynamic of their friendship. And with some clarity, he should have seen it.
Tucker was extremely self-centered and saw himself as if he was a gift to the world. Tucker would not hesitate to use Danny as a shield from the bullies every time he got and Tucker would always run away when Danny was being beaten or bullied. Tucker would ask for some money to borrow when there was a new piece of tech that he wanted and he was a few dollars short. And despite how Danny would gladly help his friend, Tucker not once considered paying back the money. With the amount calculated, Tucker owed him a good amount but Danny never thought about asking Tucker to pay it back even when Danny pays back Tucker the second he had the chance.
Overall, Tucker would throw Danny under the bus if it benefited him while Danny would stand in front of Tucker to take the hit. And with power, Tucker would finish Danny off with little thought

Danny lifted his head as he heard his number being called and was surprised that he had lost track of time. He walked up to the counter and picked up his two bags and cup holder that had two milkshakes. He paused for a second as he realized that he had ought enough for two people on instinct as he was the one to usually do it for him and Tucker. Not wanting to waste the food, he took them and began to walk towards the exit.
As he got close to the exit, someone stretched out their foot causing him to trip and slam his face into the door. He was able to hold his food and drinks up so nothing fell over and he heard the familiar obnoxious laughter of the school jock
"What's wrong, Fenturd? Shoes untied?"
Danny was in no mood to deal with Dash and his gang of muscle heads so he just stood up straight, opened the door, and left.
Kwan saw the depressed look on Danny's face and was planning on asking him what was wrong when they had the time.
Tucker saw the whole thing and for a second he thought he should go help, but when the idea of himself being the target of the bullying, he turned his head back to his food.
Danny moved to behind the Nasty burger and looked around to see that no one was around before he transformed and flew off to find a place he could eat in peace
~meanwhile~
In the basement of Fenton-Works, as usual, the ghost portal illuminated the room in its green glow. But after a minute a head poked out of the portal. The head of a familiar princess
"It appears I have my chance." Princess Dorthea walked out of the portal and slowly floated to the center of the room before flying upwards and through the ceiling. She paused as she saw the two adults at a table working on something. She was warned by "sir Daniel about his parents and their profession. Fortunately, they were facing the opposite direction and she flew faster out of the room and out of the building. She was high in the air and looked at the sun-lit city as she wondered to herself. "I hope I can find Sir Daniel." taking a guess, she flew off into the city to find Danny
Danny, in his human form, was sitting at the top of a skyscraper with his legs dangling at the side of the edge. He started coming up here when he wanted to find some sense of peace and he found himself doing this a lot more when he and Tucker's friendship fell apart. He enjoyed the view of the city since it is the highest point there was in Amity Park.
Danny took a bite of his burger before he began to drink his milkshake. "At least I haven't had to fight anything today." it was then that his ghost sense went off and he groaned to himself. "I just had to say something. And now my moment of peace is ruined."
"Sir Daniel?"
Danny froze as he heard someone calling him and he recognized that voice and way of speaking. He turned around to see Princess Dora floating behind him with a smile on her face. 'Or not.' "Dora!" he got to his feet and walked towards her and paused when he was a few feet away.
Dora lowered herself to float just a foot above the roof and she did a curtsy towards him. "It is a pleasure to see you again, Sir Daniel."
Danny chuckled as he gave a gentlemen's bow in response. "And it is my honor to be in your presence once more, my lady."
The two stayed there for only a few seconds before he chuckled as she giggled.
Dora smiled at seeing Danny again. "It is very nice to see you again, Daniel."
Danny rubbed the back of his head nervously "it…..it's nice to see you again too, Dora." he then got a confused look as he asked "but how did you find me? I'm not really in a spot that anyone could see."
Dora began to play with her pigtail in her hands as she felt a little embarrassed at her reason. "I… well…." she blushed hard as she could not bring herself to look him in the eye. "I was actually searching for you. I…..wanted to spend more time with you now that I returned."
Danny blushed hard at hearing her answer. He would be lying that he didn't want to spend time with her too. He shifted his gaze everywhere but her as he said. "well…..I don't mind." he looked back to where he was sitting "I was just watching the city from up here." he walked over to where he once was and didn't need to look back to feel Dora following him. He sat down where he once was and gestured for her to sit next to him.
Dora floated over the edge before she sat next to Danny and looked out to the city. "It really is a nice view up here. Do you come here often?"
Danny sighed as he made a so-so motion with his hand. "I only started coming up here recently. I find it calming to just sit up here when I don't have to deal with any of the troublemaking ghosts."
Dora nodded as she shifted her gaze from him to the city. "I can see how you would find some peace sitting up here."
The two sat there in comfortable silence till Dora caught the scent of something. She looked around and saw where the smell was coming from. "Daniel, what is that?
Danny looked at her and followed her line of sight and saw that she was looking at his burger. "Oh, that was my lunch. Eating the school food isn't something I would recommend so I usually go to the local fast food place to get some real food." he grabbed his burger and the bag it was on and brought them to his lap. Holding the sandwich with one hand, he used his free hand to open the bag and pulled out the second burger from it. He placed it on his knee before pulling out the fries that came with it. Want to try some?"
Dora brought her hands up as she shook her head. "Oh no. I do not want to deprive you of your meal."
Danny chuckled as he moved the fries closer to her. Don't worry about it. I could eat all of this but I don't need to. Try some. From your question, I can guess that you never had any of these before."
Dora looked from his smiling face to the yellow sticks that had an alluring aroma. She gently reached out and grabbed one of them before looking back to him for some form of confirmation. Seeing him nod to her, she brought it to her lips before she took a bite. Her eyes widened when her taste buds were hit with the hot salty flavor. "hmm!" She ate the rest of the single fry and smiled at how delicious it was.
Danny could tell that she had enjoyed it very much and held out the box of fries to her so she could have some more.
Dora would take a single fry one at a time before she slowly enjoyed each of them.
Danny smiled as he put the bag on the concrete edge between them and placed the extra burger and fries there so she could grab them at her leisure.
For the next few minutes, Dora would eat one fry after another with a sense of regalness.
Danny found himself just watching her eat the fries and could not help but find her cute as she ate.
Dora stopped eating the fries and saw the extra burger next to the fries and picked it up. "Sir Daniel, what do you call this?"
Danny chuckled as he bought this hand up for her to give him the sandwich. "It's called a burger. A spicy bacon cheeseburger." he removed the wrapping from half of it and handed it back.
Dora took it back and looked it over as she was interested in the difference this was from the usual meals she ate back at her brother's kingdom. She looked to Danny to see him take a bite of the one he had and chose to mimic him.
Danny saw her about to take a bite till he remembered that it was a spicy burger. "Oh be careful with the…"
"Hmm!"
Danny paused as he saw her look of awe at the taste she got from it. Not seeing any look of discomfort about the spicy sauce that was in that burger made him think that she must like spicy foods. 'Nevermind.'
Dora could not believe that she was tasing something like this. It was much different from the meals she had before and it was all in a small package. 'This is delicious.' she finished her first bite before she took another and enjoyed the spicy flavor that was hitting her tongue. When she swallowed her second bite….*hiccup* she gave a small hiccup and covered her mouth with her fingers as she blushed in embarrassment. She turned her head to see Danny chuckling at her and her blush got more prominent.
Danny could not help but think that her little hiccup made her look cuter. Looking to his milkshake that he put behind him, he grabbed the extra, thinking she might like it. 'Guess it was a good thing I got the extras.' he brought it up to her with a smile. "Here. it's a vanilla milkshake. Should help with the hiccups you have and it goes good with the rest of the meal.
She took the shake and looked at it as she had never seen a cup like this. She looked to Danny who grabbed his own though with a brown color instead and saw him drink it. She mimicked him and was once again surprised by the taste. "Hmm~!" it was so sweet and she loved it.
Danny pulled his drink away and asked "I assume you like it."
Dora didn't hear him as she was enjoying the drink too much. But after another sip of the drink, she had to pull it away as her body grew cold. She shivered as if she was struck by a cold wind, which didn't go unnoticed by Danny
"Hey, are you ok?" he was a little confused by her reaction. Sure he saw that she was drinking the milkshake at a fast pace which he assumed would give her brain freeze but instead, it looked like she stepped into a freezer. He would have assumed it was the wind but it wasn't that cold up here. At least not to him.
Dora gave one last shiver before she felt the chill go away. "Yes, I had just had too much at too fast a pace. Due to my core, cold elements are a bit more noticeable to me." she placed her free hand on her necklace as the necklace was connected to her core. She then remembered the odd sensation she got from Danny when they first met. It was almost like the connection she had with her amulet but now that she thought about it, she realized that the feeling was barely noticeable now.
Danny saw where she put her hand and noticed the amulet she had. He raised an eyebrow as it looked familiar. But something else got his attention. It was what she said about her core. "Can I ask what you meant by your 'core'?"
Dora was a little stunned by the question since all ghosts knew about their core but she realized that he might not know about it since he was a "special" kind of ghost. A halfa. "Well…..." she tried to think of the best way to explain a ghost's core. She did blush a bit since it was very intimate for a ghost to talk about their own cor but she soon figured that she could just give a general overview of a ghost core. She turned her upper body to look Danny in the eye. "A ghost's core can be considered the base of all ghosts. It is as important to a ghost as the heart is to a human." she didn't know she was doing it but she had gently placed her hand on Danny's chest where his heart was.
Danny blushed at her touch but he didn't say anything since he had no idea how to react. He was saved from saying anything as she continued.
"But to a ghost, it has more importance as our core is what holds everything we are. It holds our powers, our behaviors, our memories." she slowly lowered her hand, almost as a caress till her hand was in the center of his torso. " It is in all essence our very soul."
Danny brought his hand up over hers as her hand remained on his chest. He blushed as he looked up at her.
She was staring at where his hand was over hers before she looked up at him. She felt a blush come over her face and felt another pull towards the boy much like the time they danced.
The two of them stared at each other for a minute before they slowly began to lean towards each other. Danny gently held her hand with his as they got closer. Dora was partially aware of what they were about to do and remembered the last time she did this. But her mind was not in control at the moment. Her core was telling her to do this.
They paused for a second as their lips were only half an inch from pressing against each other but they continued as they wanted this
*gasp*
Before they could complete the action, Danny's ghost sense went off
They both flinched at this as the cold breeze from the mist caught Dora off guard while Danny pulled back from what it meant.
"AAAAAhhhhhhh!"
"Aaaaahhhh"
"Aaaaaaahhh"
The two looked down to see three ghosts phasing through random buildings. Due to how far down they were it was hard to tell what kind of ghosts they were but Danny and Dora could tell they had wings.
Danny sighed as he knew he had to stop them from scaring all the people of the buildings. He looked to Dora and said. "Guess I gotta handle this. It will only take me a minute to take care of this. Maybe less." he looked at the milkshake in her hand and the food she had yet to finish. "Just enjoy the rest of the meal while I handle this." he got to his feet and stood on the edge. He looked down and gained a smirk. "I always wanted to try this." he looked at Dora and gave a two-fingered salute. "I'll be back." he then stepped off the edge and fell while staying in an upright position.
Dora was so startled by the sudden action that she leaned forward and watched as he fell. "Daniel!"
Danny felt the rush of wind as he fell and when he saw that he was halfway to the ground, he flipped to fall headfirst. After another second, he transformed into Phantom, and with the momentum gained, he pulled up and flew towards where he saw the ghost were. "Ok, I'm sure that looked cool….." he placed his hand on his chest and took a big gasp of air before he groaned out. "But I don't think I should do that again any time soon." when he was in human form, he felt his heart rate skyrocket. And even when it stopped beating in his phantom form. He still felt something pulsing in his body as he pulled up from the fall. "I wonder if that is my Core. I don't know if I have one like other ghosts but I can figure that out later." he turned himself invisible and intangible as he phased through the buildings and towards the three ghosts that were scarring the people
Dora let out a breath as she pressed her hand on her chest. "Honestly, he should not have done something like that." she sat up straight as she thought about what they were about to do just before they were interrupted. She blushed at how they were so close to kissing once again. And this time they both were willingly doing the action. She smiled as she looked out into the city and only partially paid attention to Danny as he had caught up with the ones that interrupted them. Her blushing smile soon dropped as she thought about their standings.
He was a brave heroic spirit that didn't seem to have any metaphorical chains on him.
She, on the other hand, had the stigma of Princess of her kingdom but was nothing more than a slave with high standing. The people of her kingdom may respect her but even they know that she is nothing more than someone that stands next to her brother. And she knew it too. Whatever her brother wanted, he would get it and if there was an obstacle in the way, he would destroy it.
It is one of the reasons she snuck away from the kingdom to come here. Danny had shown her the modern world, treated her kindly, and made her feel as if she had worth in her existence.
Despite this, she knew that sooner or later, she won't be able to see him again. So, being selfish, she was going to enjoy as much time as she can get with him. She looked at the food she still had in her grasp and decided to do what he suggested she should do. She brought up her shake and took a slower sip this time. "Hmm~!" and enjoyed the modern meal.
Danny flew towards the three ghosts and was able to see that they were vultures. "I know vultures can be annoying, but I know there aren't any celebrities here so…." Danny flew up to the vultures and spoke up. "Hey! You mind telling me why you are bringing Halloween scares early?"
One of the vultures, the one that seemed to be leading the group, looked to him with an angry look in his eyes. "Whatsit to you, Fancy pants Ghost boy?"
Danny flew ahead of the three vultures and floated in their way, stopping them from flying any further. "You're going around phasing through people's homes and scaring them crazy. I want to know why and how I can get you to stop."
The one with sunglasses looked to their leader and spoke. "Just tell him what we want so we can get our job over with and start heading to Florida."
The leader scoffed as he looked towards the sunglasses one. "I don't need any help finding what we are looking for."
The third one shifted his head in a way to show that he was rolling his eyes. "Oh please. We've been flying for hours. Just ask him. He might know so we can get this over with!"
Danny raised an eyebrow as he crossed his arms. "Ask me what? What are you three looking for?" he waited for them to give him some clue as to why they were here while also having a random thought run through his head. 'They're ghosts and can float on their own…...so why are they flapping their wings?'
The leader looked at his companions before sighing in resignation. "We are on a search and destroy mission." he floated closer to the ghost boy so he could ask. "Can you help us locate and peck to death…." he used one of his wings to grab something that was tucked into his other wings feathers before pulling out a torn piece of a picture. "This guy here?"
Danny looked at the photo and it only took him a second to realize that it was a picture of his dad, with a mullet. "Dad?!"
The one with sunglasses smiled as he pointed at his leader. "Ah-ha, see. You should have asked sooner."
Danny's mind was going a mile a minute as he wondered why his dad would be targeted by these vultures. 'Apart from being a ghost hunter, but he isn't even good at it so why would they want to go after him?' he brought his hand up as he asked "you mind if I get a closer look. Not really sure it is the same guy I know."
The vulture didn't see any harm in doing this so he handed the photo over.
Danny took it and looked at it closer to make it look like he was actually trying to figure out who it was while his mind was trying to figure a way to end this soon since he didn't want to let these vultures go. "Hmmm~"
The vultures got close as the third one asked "well do you know him?"
Danny brought the photo closer to his face. "I think I know him…"
The one with sunglasses flew behind him as he looked over his shoulder at the photo. "Good, then you can tell us where he is so we can peck him to death and we can go enjoy the Florida beaches."
Danny smirked as the three vultures were now only a foot away from him, with two being behind him and one in the front. 'Ok, this is gonna be tricky.' he scratched his head with his free hand to feign confusion before dropping it to his side before slowly moving it to the thermos clipped to the back of his belt. "Yeah, I do know him."
The third one, who was behind Danny with the one wearing sunglasses, raised his wings in the air. "Great, now where is he?" before anything could be said, he as well as the one beside him were sucked up by a bright blue light.
The leader went wide-eyed at what happened. "What the…!" he was then sent flying as a foot impacted his beach
Moving with the momentum of his kick, Danny spun before, unclipping the thermos from his belt, thrusting it forward, and pressing the button, sucking up the last Vulture before he could regain his sense. Danny capped the thermos as he smirked "none of your business." he clipped the thermos back to his belt before he looked at the picture again. "What would they want with Dad? I mean, seriously. He isn't that good of a hunter and a lot of the stuff he builds have bugs that mom has to fix before they can work." sighing to himself, he put the picture away and figured that he could figure that puzzle out later. He spun around and flew back to the building that he was once at.
Dora was a little disappointed that her drink had finished but she had enjoyed it immensely. She had finished her burger as well and was now looking at the city. In her peripheral vision, she saw that Danny's milkshake was sitting there. She shook her head as she could not believe that sh eleven entertained the idea of drinking his. But as the seconds passed, her curiosity and a new love for the drink were getting the best of her. Her eye kept shifting to it as her will was waning. 'I wonder how his would taste.' she looked towards where she saw Danny fly off and couldn't see him, so she figured that he was battling someone else. She turned her head to the drink and said. "Well…...it would be a waste….." she quickly picked it up and felt that it was still cold. She looked at the straw as she felt a little guilty at this. She looked around as if to see if anyone would see her do this, in her mind, heinous act. She brought the drink up and placed her lips on the straw. For a split second, she had this odd thought. 'It….almost tastes like his lips..' she blushed at this thought before she took a sip. When the drink touched her tongue, she went wide-eyed as it was sweeter than the one she had. "Hmm~" she held the drink with both hands as she closed her eyes and felt like her soul was close to passing on.
Danny phased through the roof to see Dora enjoying the drink. He saw that it was his milkshake but the look of bliss on her face was too cute for him to interrupt. As silently as he could, he moved to sit next to her as she continued. He just sat there and watched her enjoy his drink.
Dora stopped drinking as she knew that if she kept going she would feel the chill once more. She gave a content sigh as she loved the drink. "Delicious. Though I am fond of the one Sir Daniel offered me, I am more partial to this one."
"Then I'll make sure I get you one for yourself next time."
"Eep!" she jumped in the air and floated a few feet overhead as she looked back down to see Danny sitting there and looking at her with a knowing smile. She looked at the drink in her hand and lowered her head in guilt as she floated down to be more level with him and brought the drink up to him. "Forgive me. I could not help myself and partake in your beverage."
Danny frowned as she didn't even look at him but instead had her head down in shame. He lifted his hand towards the milkshake before pushing it back to her. He saw her lift her head in shock as he smiled at her. "It's fine. You can drink the rest of it if you want."
"Oh no. I couldn't possibly…"
"Dora…. It's fine." he gave her a reassuring smile and nod signifying that it was ok.
Dora smiled back at him as he returned the nod and drank the last of the Milkshake.
Danny moved to the roof and transformed back into his human form before he pulled out his phone and saw that it was barely five. Thinking about how he had the rest of the day to spend however he wanted, he looked to Dora and smiled. "Hey, Dora?" seeing her look at him, he grew nervous and rubbed the back of his head. "I know that the last time you were here, I showed you a few places but….do you wanna go look around town again?"
Dora's face brightened up as she floated closer to him. "I would love to! I would like to see more of your world!"
Danny blushed at the close proximity. Giving a nervous chuckle, he held out his hand for her while the other one motioned her towards the city. "Well, shall we?"
Dora took his hand before they floated in the air as she nodded "lead the way, Sir, Daniel."
Danny nodded with a smile as he grabbed their trash and led the way towards the city.
Dora and Danny were invisibly looking around the mall with the female ghost looking around in awe.
"This place is remarkable." she wander over to the window of a clothing shop and looked upon the many different outfits inside.
Danny followed her with a smile as he thought that seeing her act like this was fun to watch. He watched her go inside the store and followed her.
Dora was looking at several different dresses that she thought looked pretty. She floated around several of the dresses, imagining herself wearing them.
Danny saw her do this and figured that she wanted to try them. But with how they are both invisible, he knew that they couldn't take them into the changing room. He thought about what she could do and then came up with an idea. He floated closer to her and whispered "why not phase through and take the position of the mannequins to check out how you look in the dresses,
Dora's face brightened as she heard this and chose to become intangible before she moved into position so it looked like she was wearing it. All of the dresses she tried were all ballroom gowns and some Victorian-style ones. She went from one to another and she loved every single one of them.
Danny blushed as he saw her try on several dresses. A red one, a blue one, a black one, a white one.
"Well, Sir Daniel? Which do you prefer?" she asked as she floated in front of him and waited for his response.
Danny nervously rubbed his neck as he thought about each dress she tried on. "I...think you look beautiful in all of them."
Dora blushed at the compliment before she moved closer and kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you, Sir Daniel."
Danny didn't know if his face was going to go back to its normal color after his blush. But clearing his throat, he gestured for them to move on as he had several other things that he wanted to show her. "Maybe one day you can get some for yourself but we should get going. There are a few more things I want to show you."
Dora felt elated at seeing new things so she floated over to him and wrapped her arms around his right arm as the two began to leave the store.

The two were now on the hilltop as the sun had gone down and the stars sparkled in the sky.
After they left the store of dresses, Danny had taken her to the movies to watch an old romance movie that she figured that she would like. Turned out he was right. She adored the magnificence of the idea of movies and felt touched by the romantic scene at the end.
Afterward, Danny took them to the Aquarium and despite feeling a little guilty at getting in for free, his guilt was placated when he saw the look of aw Dora had and the fact that he slipped in the money into the register as they left.
The last thing they did was sit at this hilltop as the sun went down and Danny showed her the constellations he could see in the sky.
But now Danny had fallen asleep since they had been using invisibility all day and it finally caught up with him.
Dora looked down as Danny was in his human and had his head resting on her lap. She smiled as she ran her hand through his hair and could only gaze at his sleeping face. she could not help but think it looked peaceful. It was all she could do at the moment. Just stare at his cute face as her left hand ran through his hair and her right hand gently caressed his cheek. "You truly are a remarkable person, Sir Daniel."
Dora had sat there just watching him sleep as she enjoyed this time together with him.
Danny slowly opened his eyes as he was returning to the waking world.
"Were you able to rest well?"
Danny looked up to see that Dora was looking down at him with a fond smile. He could feel her hand caressing his face and running through his hair and could not help but relax at these actions. "Yeah. sorry for falling asleep on you. Using all my energy staying invisible made me tired."
"It is quite alright. I understood that you must have become exhausted."
Danny smiled as he took a deep breath in replace of yawning. Looking at the position of the moon, he grabbed his phone to look at the time. His eyes widened as he saw that it was 9:55 PM. "oh crud! I'm going to be late!" he sat up as he knew that he had to get home for his 10 PM curfew.
Dora felt a little disheartened at him no longer resting on her lap but she could tell that she needed to return home. She got up and floated next to him. "Forgive me for holding you up for so long."
Danny shook his head. "No, it's fine. I wanted to do this and seeing you enjoy yourself was fun."
Dora smiled at this as she had truly enjoyed her time in this world with him.
Danny stretched his arms before he transformed back into his ghost form and looked to Dora. "I'm sorry that I have to go but….um... before you go, I have something for you. I got it for you some time ago and I think this is the best time to give it to you."
Dora nodded "very well. Where is it?"
Danny held out his hand for her to take. Once her hand was in his he led them back to his house
Danny and Dora phased into Danny's room with Danny moving over to his desk and opening a drawer.
Dora looked around the room in interest at its style. She figured that it was his bedroom with the bed that was next to the window and the small picture of him. She could not help but think that it was nice and quaint. Seeing him walking towards her, she gave him her attention.
Danny held the box in his hands as he nervously tried to think of what to say. Figuring that he should just give it to her, he opened the box to show the gift he bought. "I um…. I saw this at a stand and...thought that you might like it."
Dora looked at the necklace and thought that it looked lovely. She looked up at him and couldn't help but find his nervousness adorable. She let him be nervous for only a few more seconds before she picked it up. She held it in her hands as she looked it over. Seeing a small loop for her medallion. She then brought her hands to the latch on the necklace she was wearing before she unlatched it. She unhooked the medallion, feeling her power lower, and held her old necklace chain in on hand before she put on the one that Danny gave her. She then hooked her medallion onto it and felt her power return and could not help but feel more attached to it now that it was being held by something Danny gave her.
Danny smiled at seeing her put it on and was really glad that he got it and how good it looked on her.
Dora smiled at Danny before she floated a bit away from him and curtsied. "Thank you for this gift, Sir Daniel."
Danny chuckled as he nodded back. "You're welcome."
Dora looked up from her curtsy and could not help herself yet again. She straightened up and floated closer to him. She felt nervous again as she lowered her head as if bashful all of a sudden.
Danny could see the look she had and thought back to the romance movie they saw earlier. He didn't know if she was doing this on purpose or if she was really this bashful about this but chose to go with it. Steeling his nerves, he cupped her cheek and gently lifted her head before he closed in and gently kissed her.
"Hmm~" Dora closed her eyes as she just enjoyed the kiss from the one she had fallen for.
Separating from the kiss, they looked each other in the eyes before they smiled wider and separated fully.
Dora curtsied once more. "Till the next time we meet, Sir Daniel."
Danny bowed in response. "I look forward to it, my lady."
With that, Dora turned invisible and phased towards the portal to return to her kingdom.
Danny smiled at the spot she went through before he looked at the clock and saw it was 10:15. 'Oh, man!' he phased through his wall and down to the street before he transformed back to his human form and walked to the front door. Opening the door, he peeked through to see his parents waiting for him with crossed arms.
"Your late again, young man." was his dad's response
"Oh great. How can this get any worse?"
~next day~
"I had to say something."
Danny was sitting in the back of the Fenton RV as his entire family was making their way to his parent's college reunion. The thing was, it wasn't his fault for this
Jazz was sitting next to Danny as she glared at him. "I don't believe this. You goof off and I get stuck in the Fenton Ghost RV for four days!"
Danny gave his own glare at her. "This isn't my fault. You were the one that said that I don't know anything about my parents and their time in college. This is your fault for saying all that. All I did was be dragged along with this."
Jazz humphed at this as she crossed her arms. "Well, it is true. You, mom, and dad barely talk to each other. They don't know you and you don't know them."
"You make it sound like you aren't part of it. And just to let you know, I do know mom and Dad. They are ghost hunters that are so obsessed with ghosts that they tend to forget to breathe sometimes."
Jazz looked over to her parents to see that her father was still blathering on about ghosts, not really realizing that neither she nor Danny were listening to him. She even saw her mother talking about it but more specifically about the white-haired ghost that had gotten away from them. As well as a new weapon they were coming up with that would work on him.
She sighed as she couldn't disagree with what Danny said
Danny looked away as he was wondering how this whole spontaneous trip was going to go.
~next day~
The family made it to their destination: Vlad Master's Wisconsin mansion. The family made it to the front door as someone was waiting.
Vlad masters walked out of the shadows and smiled at the family. "Jack... and Maddie, you've never looked lovelier. Please come in." Vlad gestured for Maddie, Danny, and Jazz to come inside, leaving Jack outside who tried to get their attention as the door was closed
Danny looked around at all the Packers memorabilia and smirked "looks like you are a fanatic of the packers." he felt the man place a hand on his head as he spoke
"Oh 'fanatic' is such a negative word….but yes I am."
Jazz looked confused at the man as she gestured to the stuff. "I don't get it. If you love the Packers so much, why don't you just buy the team?"
Vlad grew angry as he vented. "Because the Packers are owned by the city of Green Bay and they won't sell them to me." Calming down he looked to Maddie who was standing next to him and gave a charming smile "another thing that my wealth heh heh has yet to acquire."
Danny looked at Jazz as he asked "Is he hitting on mom?"
Jazz rolled her eyes as she spoke. "As long as there are working toilets and mom says 'no', who cares."
Danny sighed as he watched as his mother went to get his father inside. It was then his eyes shifted to Vlad. he didn't know why but for some reason h had a very bad feeling about the man
~that night~
Danny was sleeping in a bed in his own room as they were staying inside Vlad's mansion. He couldn't help but think the bed was comfortable and was enjoying the time off from fighting ghosts.
Unfortunately, Danny's ghost sense went off, causing him to wake up. He groaned as he really wasn't looking forward to whatever ghost he had to deal with. "oh, great. Just what I wanted." he transformed and he phased out of the room in search of the ghost. He flew through the halls trying to find the ghost but he had no luck. He did have to turn invisible when he almost ran into his father who was sleepwalking towards the bathroom. He knew this cause he was mumbling about it. It was when he flew past a pair of double doors that his ghost sense went off again. Looking at the door, he phased through to see the ghost he was looking for.
The said ghost was sitting in a chair and facing him as if he was waiting for him
"Who are you?"
The ghost gave a fanged smile as he stood up. "Plasmius. And you are the ghost known as Danny Phantom."
Danny tilted his head in confusion. "You know me?"
Plasmius scoffed. "Of course I know you. I've heard of you through many different ghosts before. Your the ghost boy that uses his powers for go~od." he scoffed before he moved closer. "Well?"
"Well, what?"
"Arent you going to shove me into that stupid thermos?"
Danny floated away from Plasmius as his gut was telling him to be on guard. "I'm not here for a fight."
Plasmius smirked as he said "you won't be able to call it that." he lifted up a hand before sending a pink ecto ray at Danny
Being caught off guard, Danny was hit in the chest and sent flying till he impacted the wall. Shaking off the shock, he flew up off the ground and sent out his own blast. "Fine!"
Plasmius brought up a small barrier that he manipulated its position with his hand. "A simple Ectoplasmic energy ray."
Danny grit his teeth but saw that his attack was no good. He flew closer while keeping the attack up, but as he got closer, he shut the ray off and landed in a crouch on the barrier. He smirked at the shocked look of Plasmius before he sent a ray over the barrier and at his face.
Plasmius flew back as he shook his head. It was a shock and stung but not enough to stop him. "Clever boy." with that, he smirked and duplicated himself into four
Danny was shocked when he saw this. "How are you doing this?"
Plasmius and his duplicates all said at the same time. "Years of practice, which, unfortunately, you do not have." they then sent out ecto rays at the boy.
Danny yelped in shock as he gathered his energy into his fist and punch the ecto rays away. He did this with two of them before flipping in the air before he swatted another one away. But he was hit in the back by another one which caused him to lose his defense and was then hit by all of the rays. "AAAAAAAAAHHH!" he fell to the ground as his body smoked from the blasts. He lifted his head to see Plasmius smirking down at him. He pushed off the ground and steadied himself.
Plasmius charged his ecto energy into his palms before he charged at the boy. He sent an ecto ray into his stomach before he flew after the boy and grabbed his leg, spun him in the air, and sent him towards the ground. As the boy was on the ground he sent another ecto ray and kept it going.
"AAARGH!" as Danny was being hit by the ray, another duplicate came in and kicked him through the double doors. He landed on the ground and felt his consciousness leave him
Plasmius landed over the boy and to his great surprise, saw the boy lose consciousness and a ring of white fire appeared and split into two before they went over his body. He was shocked to see who it was. "The ghost boy is Jack's son!" suddenly a black ring appeared at his waist as they split, to show that Plasmius was Vlad Masters. "Interesting." he said as he smirked and thought about what this could mean
Danny jolted awake before looking around as if he was about to see the ghost that he had fought. All he saw was that he was in his bed.
"You gave me quite the scare little badger."
Danny jumped as he saw Vlad come out of the shadows.
"I found you in such a horrible state in my hall and brought you here to make sure that you were alright." he said in a concerned manner
Danny looked down at his body to see that he was already healed up from his fight. 'Thank you, advanced healing.' "Yeah, I'm fine, thanks."
"Are you sure? If you need anything, you need only ask."
Danny smiled as he nodded. "Yeah, I'm sure. I just need some sleep."
Vlad nodded as he looked the boy over. "Very well. But inform me if anything odd happens."
"I will."
Vlad left the room as he smirked to himself.
Danny laid on his bed as he thought about how powerful the ghost was. He was beaten so easily and he knew that the next time he ran into the ghost he would need to be careful.
~next day, middle of the Reunion~
Danny was bored. The reunion had gone off and his parents, more so his father, was making a fool of himself on the dance floor. "How can anyone think that is a good dance form?" He thought about joining Jazz in the theater so that he would at least have something to do but he shot down that thought since he didn't want to start an argument with his sister or a lecture about not bonding with his parents. He then thought about how Harriet Chin was acting when she saw her parents, told him that his father was like this even back then. He was brought out of his thoughts when he felt someone place a hand on his shoulder. He looked up to see Vlad standing next to him.
"How are you holding up, my boy?"
Danny sat up straighter as he answered. "I'm doing fine, sir. Just trying to pass the time."
Vlad laughed as he could tell the boy was bored. "Well, perhaps you can do something for me." seeing the boy nod he asked "can you head over to my lab, down the left hall second door on the right, and grab a present I have for your father. I have other matters to attend to here."
Danny saw this as a way to get away from the party and stood up. "Sure." he then walked away to do this task.
Vlad looked back at the dance floor as his focus narrowed to Maddie. Gritting his teeth at how he blames Jack for the accident that gave him his powers and making him lose his chance at getting with Maddie. But he knew that once this day was over, he would have her. He turned around and walked in the same direction as Danny.
Danny walked into the lab as he looked around for the Present that Vlad had told him about. "Present… present… where could it be?" as he looked around, he saw a photo on the lab table that brought up some red flags. He moved over and grabbed it before he reached into his pocket to pull out the photo piece he got from the vulture ghosts. He saw that the piece was from this photo and he grew a look of anger. "What the hell?" It was then that his ghost sense went off. He got into his fighting pose and transformed to his ghost form and looked around to see if he could find what set it off. "Alright, where are you?"
"Over here, punk."
Danny turned around in time to see a net launched at him. He was sent flying in the net and impacted the wall before he was electrocuted for a second. He opened his eyes to see that the one that caught him was the Hunter ghost. "Skulker!" he ripped the net off him before he grabbed the cable the net was attached to before swinging the hunter around the room and slamming into the wall.
Skulker got to his feet and unleashed a glowing blade on the top of his wrist.
Danny was surprised to see the blade and made a comment. "That's new."
Skulker gained a look of childish glee as he said "you like it? I've had some upgrades." he brought up his arm to show that a familiar PDA was attached to it. "I owe a lot of my new upgrades to this." he then grew serious as he charged at Danny
Danny internally groaned 'great. Tucker's PDA made him more deadly.' he felt nervous about the blade and ducked under a swipe that would have cut his head off before he sent a blast into Skulker's stomach. Seeing the ghost down, he focused his energy into a more focused shot and sent it at the blade, shattering it.
Skulker looked at the blade and shouted out "hey! That was new!" He then grabbed a cube from behind before tossing it at Danny.
Danny looked at it in concern and was about to jump away but before he could, the cube expanded into a larger one with all of Danny's body inside with his head being the only thing visible. "What the hell?!" He tried to phase through the ox but found out that he couldn't. In fact, he couldn't even use any of his powers. "Damn it!" he then looked up when he heard the whirring of a gun powering up to see Skulker pointing his wrist canon at him
"Now….."
"Enough!"
Danny looked to the side to see Vlad walking out of the shadows, almost confirming his earlier thoughts.
Vlad looked at Skulker with an angered look. "I didn't free you just to kill the boy. You are now on standby. Go and wait for further instructions."
Skulker sighed in defeat as he lowered his gun. "Fine." he looked at Danny with a mad grin. "Next time, ghost child." with that, he flew off to do whatever
Danny looked at Vlad and glared. "So, you freed the ghosts out of the ghost zone to….do what exactly? I figured that you sent the vultures to attack my dad but why?"
Vlad looked at Danny, a little impressed that he figured that much out. "Impressive in figuring that out. As for why, I sent many ghosts to test your father's skills in ghost hunting. Yet imagine my surprise when I find out that it is the second Ghost hybrid that he most likely created."
"'Second'?"
Vlad turned to Danny as he gave a dark smirk as a black ring appeared around his waist. The ring split into two and transformed Vlad Masters into Vlad Plasmius.
Danny's eyes went wide as he was not expecting someone else to be like him. "You!" He tried to channel his ecto energy but found that he couldn't feel any of it, despite still being in his ghost form."
Vlad smirked as he figured out what the boy was trying to do. "Try as you might but this thing is a Spectral Energy Neutralizer. As long as you stay inside of it, you are as powerless as your idiotic father."
Danny kept shimmying as he tried to get out. "Let me out!"
"Now why would I want to do that. You clearly have no experience in using your powers since you barely showed anything powerful. Something I have twenty years of." he turned to Danny and began to give a pitch. "I have experience, my child. And the money and power gained from using these powers for personal gain, you see. I could train you and teach you everything I know and all you have to do….is renounce your idiot father."
Danny glared at Vlad as he couldn't believe that he was being this much of a Fruitloop. "Only a Fruitloop would come up with something like that."
Vlad smirked as he looked at the boy. "Well, perhaps you and your mother will change your minds when your father is out of the way." with a laugh, he disappeared from the room, leaving Danny alone in the lab
Danny huffed as he kept trying to get out.
~Meanwhile~
Dora was flying around the city as she was once again trying to find Danny. She knew that she was pushing her luck by sneaking out so much but she really wanted to see Danny again. She had roamed the city for some time now but she had no luck in finding him. She was now just floating around the park as she chose to just enjoy some time here. She enjoyed the tranquility of the park before she found a lovely fountain that she chose to sit on. She sat down and looked up at the stars as she saw the constellations that she remembered Danny pointed out to her. She wasn't able to find them all since there was so much so when she found the last one she knew, she sighed. "Where are you, Daniel. I wish to spend more time with you."
It was the last thing she said that summoned a pink smoke to come out of the fountain before it reformed into another ghost. "Is that your heart's desire?"
Dora turned around in shock and saw who it was. She was stunned to see a familiar ghost. "Desiree?"
Said wishing ghost opened her eyes to see who it was and was shocked to see a face she had seen a long time ago. "Princess Dorethea?"
Dora floated up and gave a tiny bow to the genie. "It has been some time since I have seen you!" she was elated since the two had met before Desiree was sealed away and she and her kingdom recently ended up in the ghost zone. "I hope you are doing well."
Desiree smiled as she nodded "it has been a long time, Princess. And I am doing so much better since you last saw me. I have been freed of my curse and now have full control of my powers."
Dora clasped her hands in glee. "I am so happy for you. I recall how you were so saddened at being used by everyone in my kingdom for random wishes. How were you able to release yourself from your curse?"
Desiree gained a fond smile as she crossed her arms. "I was freed by a very special person. Though it was not intentional, the one who did it has a pure selfless heart."
Dora smiled as she could tell that the one who did it must have a place in the genie's heart. "I am happy for you."
Desiree nodded gratefully. "Much appreciated, Princess. But enough about me. You made a wish, and I am willing to grant it for you."
Dora blushed as she thought about the wish as she wanted but perhaps she could be a little selfish. "Well….. I had been looking for the one that showed me around the city the last few times I had been here and I had made a bit of a selfish wish."
Desiree smiled wide as she saw the bashful look the princess had and she floated closer. "Oh, the Dragon princess has found someone to love. What is your wish? I can grant any wish you want. But please know that if you wish for him to love you, I can say that such a love will feel hollow."
Dora shook her head. "No no. I only wish I could be with him at the moment."
Desiree smiled as she nodded. "That I can grant. By the way, what is his name?"
Dora had a lovestruck smile as she whispered loud enough for the Genei ghost to hear. "Sir Daniel, though he had once told me that he prefers to be called Danny."
Desiree paused for a minute as she was also fond of someone with the exact same name. 'From what I learned, Danny is a common name. What are the odds that they are one and the same?" She thought about this for some time before she felt that she needed to find out. So she thought of a compromise. She smiled at Dora and spoke. "So you have wished it, so shall it be~" she waved her hands in the air before enveloping Dora in a pink mist. The thing was that not only did Dora get enveloped, but she as well.
She needed to see this
Danny could hear chaos going on in the room of the party and he was trying to do anything to get out of the box. "Come on!" He kept trying to at least shift the box but so far he couldn't do anything. "If I don't get out of this, that Fruitloop will kill him!"
Suddenly, out of nowhere, a pink mist appeared till it revealed two ghosts that Danny knew.
"Dora?! Desiree?!"
Dora looked around at the voice till she saw Danny inside a box. "Sir Daniel!" she floated closer and cupped his face to make sure that he was ok.
Desiree's suspicions were confirmed at the sight of Danny and could not help but smile at the sight. 'Would seem that Danny is more special than I thought.' she didn't mind if Danny already had someone. She was a harem girl after all. She floated over to the two and spoke. "It would appear that you are in the middle of a problem."
Danny felt embarrassed as Dora was rubbing his face and he tilted his head to see Desiree. "Yeah, and I would really like your help. If you are willing to give it."
Dora moved to be behind Danny as she checked his head for any bump that he might have gotten.
Desiree floated around the box to see if she could find a way to open it till she stopped back at the front to see a small button that said "release". She pressed the button, causing the box to release Danny from his prison.
Dora hugged Danny as she was glad to see that he was alright. "Are you sure you are alright?" she floated away to look him over
Danny nodded as he stretched his legs. "Yeah, thanks. I owe you two."
Desiree chose to have some fun with this as she floated around Danny before she was once again behind him. She wrapped her arms around him before she brought one of her hands to his face and gently turned it. "Then I would like my rewards now." she then pressed her lips onto his. "Mmmm~"
Danny eyes went wide and stiffened at this
Dora covered her mouth in shock as she could not register what she was seeing.
Desiree smiled as she continued to kiss Danny till she pulled back and smiled at the shocked boy. "Thank you for the reward."
Danny stood there stiff as he tried to register what happened. He was brought out of his shock when he felt himself being pulled away.
Dora held his head in her arms as she gave a glare at Desiree. She was angry but she did her best to hold back her power to not transform. She still gave a pouty glare. She then looked to see the still dazed look on his face before she decided to do something about it. She didn't know why she did this but she did not hate it. she turned Danny's head and kissed him as if to pull him out of the daze.
Desiree smiled wide as she got the kind of reaction that she wanted. She knew she was taking a risk but she needed to not only show Danny and Dora that she cared about him. It also helped that Dora had a more pure attraction to Danny and a gentle nature. Well…..if you don't make her angry enough.
Danny felt his mind shut down at that. Once Dora's lips parted from his he was close to collapsing but he shook his head as he heard something crashing in the other room. "Oh no." he looked at the two female ghosts and nervously asked, "do….you mind helping me out?"
Desiree looked around the room and asked "where are we anyway?"
Danny sighed as he said. "We're at a mansion belonging to Vlad Masters. But it turns out that he also goes by Vlad Plasmius."
Dora gained a look of shock. "Vlad Plasmius!"
Danny could see the look of recognition on the girl's face and asked "you know him?"
Dora nodded. "He has made dealings with other ghosts in the ghost zone many times and he is known to hire a few for his purposes." She didn't tell him about the dealings the man had with her kingdom because she didn't want Danny to fear her kingdom or its people. Or rather she didn't want him to see her in any sort of negative light.
Danny shrugged at this as he wasn't really that focused on Vlad's past dealings. "Well, whatever he did in the past in the ghost zone, I need help dealing with him now."
Desiree had no real knowledge of this Vlad since she had only recently been released but she knew that she was going to help Danny in this battle. "Your wish is my command." She gave a bow as she smiled at him.
Dora grabbed her medallion and thought about what she could do and if it would be a good idea. She still didn't have full control of her dragon form but perhaps….she could aim it. "I….will aid you."
Danny nodded and smiled at the two. "Thank you. Both of you." With that, he took a deep breath as he knew that this was going to be a difficult fight, even with help. though ...there was one way he could win this fight even if Vlad was more powerful.
In the main lobby, where the party was taking place, the whole room was trashed as Vlad, who was possessing Jack, was flying around and smacking people away. "If you live to tell the tale, remember that big fat Jack Fenton did this to you!"
"Guess again, Fruitloop!"
Vlad looked over to his left to see Danny flying towards him.
Danny flew towards Vlad and just before tackling the body, he went intangible and forced Vlad out of his father's body. He then flew both himself and Vlad into another room.
Jack fell to the ground slightly confused before he grew angry. "Nobody uses Jack Fenton as a human meat puppet!" he got to his feet in time to see Maddie driving the Fenton RV into the room with Harriet Chin in the passenger seat. He ran towards the door and jumped in with Maddie moving aside for him to take the wheel.
Danny shoved Vlad into the room before he sent a blast towards the man.
Vlad shifted to avoid the blast before sending his own back at Danny.
Danny flew to the side to avoid the blast and circled in on Vlad. he pulled his fist back but before he could throw it, he was grabbed by the throat.
Vlad held Danny in his grasp as he spoke. "enough of this. You should know already that I am more powerful than you. But imagine, I could show you all I know all the abilities that you could have and when strong enough, we could rule it all."
Danny tried to remove Vlad's grip but found that he couldn't. "Yeah~ as much as that sounds appealing, I'm not interested. And I already figured you were stronger than me but that is why I brought help."
Vlad rose an eyebrow before he was suddenly slammed in the side by a sledgehammer.
Desiree floated next to Danny and helped him up as her hand shifted back to normal.
Vlad saw Desiree float next to Danny and was a little intrigued at how the boy got the wishing ghost on his side. He knew of her through rumors and such but never met her before. "Well, it would seem that you have allies, young Daniel, but so do I."
Desiree and Danny were then hit by an ecto ray, sent flying, before Skulker floated down next to Vlad.
Danny and Desiree got up from the ground and were ready to fight but suddenly a roar was heard throughout the room.
Both Vlad and Skulker were surprised to see a dragon land just behind Danny and Desiree.
"Hurt him! You hurt Sir Daniel!"
Danny was surprised not only by seeing the dragon he fought some time ago but also by what it said. "DORA?!"
Vlad looked up at the dragon and recognized who it was. "Princess Dorathea? Well, this is an interesting development. I wonder if your brother knows about you being here."
Danny heard Vlad say this and he couldn't help but think it over for a second. Was Dora not supposed to be here? And what was this about her brother?
Dora sent a blast of fire at Vlad and Skulker which caused them to jump out of the way
Danny shook his head as this was not the time so he and Desiree flew up to start the battle
Danny flew after Vlad with Dora moving to back him up while Desiree met with Skulker.
Desiree turned her hand into a lasso before grabbing Skulker's foot before swinging him around and into the wall
Skulker held his head before shaking his head. "I might add you to my collection as you are one of the very few wishing ghosts. He unleashed his wrist gun and sent a blast at the woman.
Desiree put her arms in an X formation as the blast was suddenly absorbed into a portal before she swung her arms to her side and sent the blast back
Skulker was hit hard by the ray and sent back into the wall. He didn't have to breathe as a sledgehammer was brought down on him. "Oh, crud."
*bam*
Danny and Vlad were sending blasts at each other but Vlad had to be a little more on the defensive since he had to dodge several tail swipes from Dora.
Vlad brought up a barrier to block the flames from Dora and the Ecto ray from Danny. He dropped it as another ecto ray was sent to him and he absorbed it in one hand, sent it to his other, and blasted it back at the boy.
The blast was sent back too fast and Danny didn't have time to bring up a shield but Dora blocked it with her claw. Dora winced at the pain as it was a stone blast from Danny.
Suddenly a wall was smashed down as the Fenton RV drove in.
Everyone flew off to let the vehicle come in.
Jack and Maddie saw all the ghosts in the room and were surprised to see the white-haired ghost kid there.
Jack looked at Maddie as he asked. "What is it doing here?" as he pointed to Danny
"Doesn't matter. I'll man the guns, you drive!" she pressed a button and unleashed the guns above the RV as she used the targeting system and took aim.
Vlad frowned at the new arrival. "This party is becoming far too crowded in this room."
"Then allow me to give us more room."
Vlad turned around to see Desiree flying at him with her lasso hand swung his way. He was grabbed around the waist and then pulled upwards and through the ceiling
Danny would have followed but he was then hit by ecto lighting from the RV. "ARGH!" the lightning continued to scream at him as he fell to the ground.
Harriet was shocked at how grand this battle was as she saw not just ghosts but a dragon as well. "This is incredible."
Speaking of dragon, her tail swung at the RV and shoved it into the wall. "Don't hurt!"
Danny got up and saw Dora aiming to attack the RV. forcing himself up, he flew over to her and in front of her face. "Wait! Dora, it's ok!" He couldn't say anymore as he was hit in the back by an ecto ray from the RV. he turned around to see his mother and father aiming at him and Dora. "but we should leave and join the fight." he looked at Dora and pointed to the ceiling. "Let's go help!"
Dora nodded as she and Danny flew up and phased through the ceiling.
Maddie glared at the ceiling before she jumped back into the RV with Jack following behind and they drove the RV out of theorem to see if they could follow the ghosts
Back in the room, a pile of books shifted before a small green blob came out and he glared at the pile. "That was my favorite suit!" He grabbed the PDA as it was still intact and phased down into Vlad's lab as he was now out of this fight.
~rooftop~
Desiree was blasted in her stomach as Vlad smirked at the wishing ghost. "You may be strong but you are nothing compared to me."
"Yet you keep falling for this."
Vlad was hit in the back by a torrent of flames and an ecto ray as Dora and Danny were seen standing behind him.
Vlad hit the ground as he was getting irritated with this. He got to his feet and duplicated himself into three with each duplicate flying to battle Desiree and Dora. Unfortunately, as they went off a small object landed at his feet. Looking down he recognized what it was and his eyes went wide as he saw it expand. "Butter Biscuits!" he was then trapped in the very device he had skulker use on Danny.
Danny smirked as he knew that as of now, they won the fight. He sighed as he walked up to Vlad. "Looks like I won this fight."
Vlad begrudgingly looked at the boy before giving an impressed smile. "It would seem so. Using your enemy's weapon against them. I am impressed."
Danny crossed his arms as he didn't know what to do with Vlad now. He then remembered something that he heard Vlad say before and looked behind him to see the dragon shrinking in size before it became Dora and her falling to her knees. He flew over to help her up and asked her about what he heard. "Your brother doesn't know you are here does he?"
Dora flinched at that as she didn't know how much Danny knew about her brother. But she looked down in sadness as she nodded.
Danny was about to ask more but his hearing heard the RV coming closer to their position. Thinking of a way to help her he smiled and moved to Vlad. "I got a deal for you."
Vlad raised an eyebrow at this. "Oh?"
"If I release you from your prison, you are to keep Dora's brother in the dark about her being here."
"Now why would I do something so trivial. Even if you leave me here, I will get out eventually."
Danny pointed behind him at a door that the sounds of a vehicle can be heard. "My parents are on their way here. If they find you in this box, they will take you away and experiment on you. If they do that they might find out about you and you will lose everything you gained. Your fame, your fortune, and…...what will my mom think?"
Vlad went wide-eyed at this as he saw that the boy was right. He heard the vehicle coming closer and knew that he had very little time to answer. He sighed as he saw "very well. This encounter will remain with us.'
Desiree and Dora tensed up as Danny walked up to Vlad before he pressed the button to release the man.
Vlad was free from the cube and picked it up as he looked at the boy. "Well played, boy. Just know that I know who you are. What is to stop me from telling others?"
"Because I know who you are too. And you have much more to lose than I do."
Vlad knew this already. "Truly impressive boy. But know that we will meet again. Till then, farewell…..son." with that he disappeared from the rooftop
Danny sighed as the fight was over but he jumped when he heard the RV was almost there and he looked to Dora and Desiree. "We should get out of here."
Nodding in agreement the three disappeared from sight and phased through the roof just as the RV drove through the door
Maddie and Jack looked around only to see that the ghosts were gone. "Damn it. They're gone"
Harriet smiled as she listened to the on-the-fly interview she had with the two as she could feel her career going in a new direction with this new material. She then walked up to the two and spoke "I can't believe this. Ghosts! This whole thing can make my career and yours. When I get this to my superiors, you will be the talk of the whole world."
Jack and Maddie's mood increased as they heard this

Danny looked at both Dora and Desiree with a grateful smile. "Thanks for your help. I don't think I would have won that without you here."
Desiree flew up to him and pressed her breasts at his back as she rubbed her cheek on his. "It was my pleasure."
Danny blushed at the shows of affection as he did not expect it from Desiree.
Dora frowned at this as she cleared her throat. "Desiree, I believe we must speak about this when we have the time."
Desiree smirked at Dora as she let Danny go. "I suppose we do."
Dora then looked at Danny with a depressed look as she held her arm, looked down, and spoke. "well….I…" she remembered how Danny had fought her when they first met and didn't know how he would react to knowing she was the dragon that he fought. She then felt him lift her head gently and saw that he wasn't mad at her.
"We can talk about this when I get home and you visit again. Ok?"
Dora felt relief that he wasn't mad at her and nodded. She then gave him a chaste kiss before she floated over to Desiree. "I wish we were back at Amity."
Desiree smiled at this as she looked at Danny. "We will see you soon, Danny." she raised her hand and a pink mist appeared as she swirled it around. "So you have wished it...so shall it be~" and with that, the two female ghosts disappeared from sight
Danny sighed as he transformed back into his human form just as he saw his sister walk in.
"I'm guessing the party is over?"
Danny looked around at the mess before answering "I guess."
~later~
The family was driving back home as the reunion was over after all the mess. Maddie was sleeping in one of the beds, Jazz was in the one adjacent to her, Jack was driving, and Danny was in the very back as he was surprised by what happened to Harriet
"I can't believe they fired Harry."
Jazz rolled her eyes as she spoke. "of course they fired her. She tried to file some crackpot story about 'ghosts'. It's the 'Milwaukee journal' not the 'National 'enquirer'."
Danny looked at her as he said. "Hey, she just lost her job. Why not show some sympathy. You were there so you can't say that ghosts aren't real anymore."
Jack then said. "I can't believe that Harry blames me. And Vlad was so mad that he didn't even say goodbye."
Danny responded to his father. "Well, it's not like you won't see any of them again. I'm sure that you will see Vlad again."
Jack looked back at Danny as he asked "you think?"
Danny nodded as he looked out the window. "Trust me, this isn't the last time we see Vlad."

So now Danny knows about Vlad, Desiree knows about Dora and Dora knows about Desiree
In the original show, I never saw Vlad interact with Desiree so I gave a reason as to why.
No real show of Danny's dragon power but they are coming

I'm thinking of skipping….so to speak, the next episode since it is the one with walker and with how I set things up it would change the way it would go and the chapter would be far too small. That would mean that I get to Spectra and then Cujo and then Ember.
