*Marshall pov*
I was driving fast toward the Loockout and Rubble was following me too. I see Chase turn the corner. And then we make it to the Lookout. I have heard the gunshots ring five times. We stop in front of the Lookout and look at the five dead wolves, all dead from a headshot.
"Pups behind you!" I heard Ryder yell out and shot at a wolf trying to sneak up on me.
*Ryders pov fight after the pups left*
I see all the pups go down the slide. Be safe guys. I go right to the big screen and open a cabinet below it. In it was a fifty-caliber sniper rifle Spyro gave to him in case something like this would happen. It had a reacon scope with a modified barrel that had holes in it, it also had a short stock, a fifteen-round mag, a laser sight, and a flashlight.
Never thought I would have to use this so soon. I walk up to the balcony and mount my rifle on the railing. I first take a good look at my surroundings and then just look for wolves that might come after him.
After about five minutes I see one in front of the Lookout, I didn't hesitate and shot him straight through his head. He fell to the ground and I see then it became quiet, too quiet. Then it hits me. I pick up my rifle and go to the opposite side and see two more.
I shot them straight through their heads just like the last one but I move back and shoot two more. Then I hear my pup rigs.
I see more wolves come out and try to catch them. I yell to them and Shoot a wolf trying to get Marshall.
*Back to Marshall's pov*
I see the other wolves. There are more this time at least twenty! I pull out my sword and see Chase pull out his gun.
"Guy Go To The Elevator!" I hear Ryder yell out but there aren't going to let us go this time. I see even move-in.
"What is our move, Chase?" I ask him.
"I think we run?" He said not sure.
"I'll cover for you, try to get to the elevator," I say.
"Marshall, you can't-". Chase try to reason with me but the wolves weren't having it.
"Die white dog!" One of the wolves yells at me and tries to swing at me but I block with my sword.
"GO NOW!" I yell.
I see them start to run but wolves try to take chase, Ryder shoots them down with ease. I try to defend myself from the wolves but there are too many so they start to overwhelm me. But I have struck down at least ten wolves. I can't use Lightning Fang because they are not enough time to focus.
"Not so cocky now are you," One of the wolves says to me.
"Marshall, You Need To Get To The Elevator Now!" I hear Ryder yell out to me and see Chase and Rubble made it to the top.
I look for a way out. I got it!
"Ruff, Smoke screen," I say.
I see My fire truck shoot out a ball and it starts to gas up everything. I run to the elevator while the wolves were distracted.
I make it and hit the button. I walk out and Chase jumps on me.
"What Were You Thinking, you could have been killed!" He scolds me.
"I'm sorry but I did not see any other option," I say trying to reason with him.
"Just don't do something like that again," He yells at me.
I see Ryder go up to the computer and the light goes out.
"What Happen?!" Rubble starts to freak out.
"I cut the power to the building so they can not get up here so it turns off the light too," Ryder said.
Ryder pulls out his pup pad and calls Spyro.
"Spyro comes in," Ryder said.
"This is a really bad time." He said seriously.
"Spyro, Me, Chase, Rubble, and Marshall are surrounded by wolves in the lookout and we need your help," Ryder said to him.
"Marshalls with you, you will be fine," He said annoyed.
"Sorry Spyro, but there are like thirty of them," I say.
"And why are you so keen on doing what you are doing?" Ryder said.
"Fuck!" I hear him curse out.
"I'm coming but I need a favor," He asks.
"What?" Asked Ryder.
"I need a pup tracker," He said to the shock of everyone.
*Spyro after the beeping*
I start to drive as fast as this thing can go.
"Cinder, activate Super Sonic mode," I say
Turbo boosters pop out the back and activate.
It took me only two minutes to get there even though it would take a normal car about ten minutes. I pull out my black sword and it has a spike at the bottom of the blade. I see four wolves outside, they look at me surprised but I don't get any time. I put my sword in position behind my back, ready to strike.
"Obsidian strike!" I swing m sword.
To the normal eye, it looks like I just swung in the air but people with train eyes will see I just hit all of them. The wolves look emotionless but then they fall in two halves. I cut all of them in half, they die on the spot.
I walk toward the cabin and walk in. The living room looks a bit trashed but fine. I look around the kitchen and see the same thing. Then I walk toward Jakes and try to open it but it is shut tight.
"Jake, Everest, you in there!" I yell.
"Spyro, thank god!" I hear Jake say.
"Sorry but gods just a rich asshole, sorry I'm late," I say.
The door opened but I was not prepared for what was there. There was a big puddle of blood where Jake was sitting, Jake was holding something to his neck like some cloth. "Shit," I mutter. I don't see Everest.
"Show me your wound," I say
He take off the cloth that was covered in blood. I look at the nasty wound, three claw marks, and bleeding a lot.
"They cut one of the arteries in your neck, I need to work fast so pl-" I try to say but he interrupts me.
"Stop, I am done for, instead, find Everest," He told me.
"You can't expect me to just leave you here!" I say.
"Everest is being tailed by wolves, if you treat me she might die!" He said.
I think for a minute.
"You do realize that if I go after them you will die, I am the only one that can treat you, and even if I call the rest they can't help," I say seriously.
Yes, but promise me you will always keep her," He said.
I turn to the door and look back at him.
"You know, since that day I made a promise to myself, especially to Marshall and Everest, And it was to keep all the pups safe no matter what, even if it costs my life," I say devoted. He smiles back at me and I return it.
I run outside and try to get a scent of her, then I hop on my bike, then I get a call from Ryder, and I pick it up.
"This is a really bad time," I say to him.
"Spyro, Me, Chase, Rubble, and Marshall are surrounded by wolves in the lookout and we need your help," Ryder said to me.
"Marshalls with you, you will be fine," Say annoyed that he is stopping me.
"Sorry, Spyro but there are like thirty of them," Marshall said to me.
There are thirty of them! They are pulling all the stops.
"And why are you so keen on doing what you are doing?" Ryder said.
"Fuck!" I curse out.
"I'm coming but I need a favor," I ask.
"What?" He asks.
"I need a pup tracker," I say and hear some gasps.
"What going on?!" He asks.
"Can you or can you not get me one?" I say ignoring his question.
"Who is it for?" He asks.
I think of what the pups would think if they found out Everest was gone.
"I'll tell you when I get there but can you get me one?" I ask him.
"Yes, but you do know that f I give you that it better be a good reason," He told me seriously.
"I know but Right now I just need you to get me one," I say.
"Ok, I'll see you at the Lookout," Ryder said.
"See ya real soon," I say and end the call.
"Cinder, Super Sonic mode…"
*No One pov*
You can see Spyro pull up to the Lookout and see the wolves staring at him. You look at Spyro, you can see his purple cloak sway in the night. He gets off the bike and walks to the front yard of the lookout where the door to Ryders ATV comes out.
The wolves surround him like snakes. He takes his hood off so the wolves can see him properly. It sends a shiver down their spine but they don't know why. Spyro grips his purple sword.
A wolf looks at him and then charges him. He quickly unsheathes his sword and makes a clean cut straight through the wolf's neck. His head falls off with a thud, He looks at the rest, some are unphased but a few looked like they would just die if I look at them.
You can see five ready to attack. The first he cut down with ease then another try to hit me in the back but he dogged with ease too. The next came at me too fast so he jabbed him in the chest with my sword. he knew he did not have time to get it out so he let go of it and caught the wolf that tried to jump.
he held him by the face you could see the fear in his eyes but that did not stop him from what he was doing
"Freedom fire," he yells as fire erupts from his hand.
The wolf screamed but Spyro had some mercy and quickly put out the fire using his other hand and make water spray out of it. He threw him back at the other wolves.
"You guys have two choices, One, you leave and never come back or Two, you continue to blindly follow orders that will kill you so, What Is It?" He said giving the wolves a death glare.
The wolfs slowly start to disperse and run back to whatever hellhole they were from. You can see Marshall stare at Spyro with glee. While the other had a mix of surprise and curiosity. Ryder you could see had a mix of worry and fear not from Spyro through, he fear what he wanted, Only he, Jake, Carlos, and Spyro knew about the trackers. They were made so in case of some accident but he knew where he was, only one pup was up there.
Spyro turns on the power from Ryder Workshop and flies up the pole hole. Ryder walks up to the computer and makes a voice command.
"Cinder, activate Operation Purple," He said then a hole opened up and a pedestal stood there.
It held a weird device that looks like a gun but it has no barrel but had a screen on top and a slot for a pup tag. Ryder grabs it and stares at Spyro.
"Spyro, is he still alive?" He said looking like he was about to burst into tears.
Spyro looks at him with sorrow and remorse. "He is gone by now, there was nothing I could do even if he wanted me to," Spyro said to him.
You could see the pups were confused and sad for Ryder. Ryder forcefully put the tracker into Spyro's hands and bursts into tears and falls to the ground. Spyro takes it and looks at him.
"I will bring her back no matter what," He said to him also looked like he could cry but no tears came out, He has already used most of his tears.
"Marshall, come with me, I need you," He said as he took off his cloak. He was wearing a weird kinda suit, it had purple and red lining and had two paw prints on the back and two on his shoulders with red outlining. Marshall just nodded and followed him to the bottom.
Spyro jumped on his bike and motioned him to follow. He did and jumped on the bike and put his paw on the paws on Spyro's suit. Something wrapped around his paws and kept him in place.
"Cinder, Super Sonic mode…"
*Spyro pov*
I use the tracker to quickly find her location and start to drive straight there. I drive straight through the tree of Jake Mountain.
"Spyro why did you need me?" I hear Marshall ask shakily.
I know Marshall is smart and is starting to put the pieces together.
"So you can stop me from doing something stupid," I say half lying.
I slow down and look at the tracker and see I am right on top of it. I unbuckle Marshall and look at the ground.
