The Dark Master’s unleashed his wrath upon the world to bring forth a new age of darkness. As evil spreads, Spyro finds himself teaming up with an unlikely ally, Whirlwind, his former nemesis, with friends. Together they begin a quest to stop the Dark Master and save the world. 80. Chapter 80

Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap were flying in the sky, heading to the Dam.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap flew all the way to the Dam.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap flew down and landed on the Dam Sade.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap saw creatures, who are half lion and half raven, attacking the wheels.

"Who are those creatures?" Spyro asked.

"They're the Griffons!" Ronald and Cynder said.

"Them?" Spyro asked.

"Yes, them! And they're trying to destroy the wheels so the Griffons can invade Mystical City and destroy it even more!" Ronald and Cynder said.

"Huh. I can see on what you mean that Griffons are troublemakers but how do you know that they want to invade Mystical City so they can destroy it even more?" Spyro and Whirlwind asked.

"We heard them say it before when we were doing our job but you weren't there at the time so listen to them!" Ronald and Cynder said.

"Come on, guys! Let's keep going! We need to destroy the wheels so we can invade the Mystical City and destroy it even more!" The Big Griffon said.

Spyro and Whirlwind were shocked.

"I can see what you mean." Spyro and Whirlwind said.

"And that's a good reason for hating them." Sparx said.

"That's one of the main reasons why we hate them but it's not the first main reason why we hate them. Spyro and Whirlwind will learn it later." Ronald and Cynder said.

"And if they destroy the wheels, we can't open the flood gates and slow the Destroyer down! We have to stop them!" Spyro and Whirlwind said.

"Hey, we know them from before!" Ronald and Cynder said.

"That sounds like Ronald and Cynder but that's impossible…" The Small Griffons said.

Then the Small Griffons stopped attacking the wheel and turned around.

"Oh no! The impossible has happened because Ronald and Cynder are back!" The Small Griffons said.

"Why did you stop attacking the wheel?" The Medium Griffons asked.

"Ronald and Cynder are back!" The Small Griffons said.

"Ronald and Cynder are back? That can't be possible." The Medium Griffons said.

Then the Medium Griffons stopped attacking and turned around.

"Oh no! It is possible! Ronald and Cynder are back!" The Medium Griffons said.

"Why have you all stopped working?" The Big Griffon asked.

"Ronald and Cynder are back!" The Small Griffons and the Medium Griffons said.

"I think you might be imagining things. Ronald and Cynder are gone because they got corrupted. They can't stop us now. And even if they could, they have to be boyfriend and girlfriend to stop us now!" The Big Griffon said.

"We are here and we are boyfriend and girlfriend now!" Ronald and Cynder said.

Then the Big Griffon turned around.

"Ronald and Cynder again?! You two have constantly interfered in Tabitha's, Shelly's, and Xavier's plans but you won't this time!" The Big Griffon said.

"Yes, we will!" Ronald and Cynder said.

"Ugh… You two are still very confident. It annoys me! But how in the world did you two manage to become boyfriend and girlfriend? As I recall, you were forbidden from being in a romantic relationship, so how did you two become boyfriend and girlfriend? And how are you two here?" The Big Griffon asked.

Then the Big Griffon's communicator ranged and the Big Griffon answered.

"You idiot! You should have been paying attention! The reason why they are there is because they were saved by their corruption! That purple dragon is the reason for this and his name is Spyro! Spyro defeated Cynder and saved her from the corrupted Ronald's dark magic and then Spyro defeated Ronald and saved him from the corrupted Whirlwind's dark magic and then Spyro defeated Whirlwind and saved her from the Dark Master's dark magic!" Tabitha's voice and Shelly's voice said.

"But how did Ronald and Cynder become boyfriend and girlfriend?" The Big Griffon asked.

"It was thanks to Spyro during the Fourth Arc before saving Whirlwind! On October 6, 1998, Spyro convinced Ronald to tell Cynder his feelings and he did and Ronald found out that Cynder has the same feelings for him like he has for and then Ronald and Cynder became boyfriend and girlfriend and then on October 7, 1998, Spyro enacted his plan to expose Thorn's and Saphira's bad parenting and it worked and then he used the fact that Ronald was almost killed by Whirlwind in Whirlwind's Mountain and used the fact that Ronald was kidnapped by Whirlwind and even used the fact that if they cared for Ronald then they will come save him to Thorn and Saphira and they did after Spyro, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap learned everything that this whole thing was manipulated by Whirlwind and after those six battled her and then they went and reveal the whole truth to them and actually approved of Ronald's friendship with Zap and also approved of Ronald's romantic relationship with Cynder! And now, doing the Sixth Arc, they defeated Dozer and Skyla, and knocked out Angelslash and Demonswipe out of their bodies and then defeated them, revealing their weak points, and then Ronald and Cynder used their power of love and destroyed them, ending the part of Cynder's forbidden romantic relationship with Ronald and now Ronald and Cynder can be together as boyfriend and girlfriend!" Tabitha's voice and Shelly's voice said.

"Okay. Then I will deal with the seven heroes." The Big Griffon said.

Then the Big Griffon ended the communication.

"Spyro, I didn't think that you would be alive because I thought that you were dead and I also thought that you wouldn't be such a great pain to us but I was wrong. Now, it seems like it is up to me to get rid of you!" The Big Griffon said.

"That will never happen!" Spyro said.

"Hmm… You sure believe something confidently but did you know what happened to Malefor?" The Big Griffon asked.

"Don't listen to him, Spyro! He's trying to use it to make it feel bad! Remember, what Ignitus and Aquafa said?!" Sparx said.

"I know what happened to Malefor but I'm not like him and I will prove it!" Spyro said.

"Whirlwind, why are you here?" The Big Griffon asked.

"I am here to help Spyro save the world!" Whirlwind answered.

"So, you say but do you really think that you can run away from Malefor? Ronald and Cynder can because they are boyfriend and girlfriend and the fact that Malefor didn't corrupt them with dark magic means that they are free from the Dark Master's side. But what about you, Whirlwind? You have nothing… no parents and no animal friends to keep you safe! You will be corrupted again and no one can save you and even if you were corrupted again, you can't corrupt Ronald again and force him to corrupt Cynder. No one can resist it." The Big Griffon said.

Then Whirlwind felt guilty.

"No, Whirlwind, don't listen to him! You can and you have proved it!" Spyro said.

"Do you really think she can? Whirlwind is just a monster who doesn't care about anyone!" The Big Griffon said.

"That does it! I have had enough of this!" Spyro said.

Then Spyro turned into Dark Spyro.

Then Dark Spyro started attacking the Big Griffon.

Then Whirlwind attacked Dark Spyro and pinned him to the ground.

"Spyro, you have to stop this! This anger of yours will destroy the wheel and how will we stop the Destroyer if the wheel is destroyed?" Whirlwind said.

Then Dark Spyro calmed down and returned to Spyro.

Then Whirlwind got off of Spyro.

Then Spyro got back up.

Then Whirlwind walked four steps forward and then turned left.

Then Spyro turned left.

"How can you be sure that you're not going to be like Malefor if you have Dark Spyro within you?" The Big Griffon asked.

"I don't know." Spyro said.

Then Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap walked to Spyro.

"He was doing that to get Dark Spyro out of you." Ronald and Cynder said.

"Anyway, Spyro, we should focus on stopping the Griffons and opening the gates!" Sunburn, Camo, and Zap said.

"Then try to stop us!" The Big Griffon said.

Then the fourteen Small Griffons ran to Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap fought and defeated the fourteen Small Grublins.

Then the seven Medium Grublins ran to Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, Zap fought and defeated the seven Medium Grublins.

Then the Big Griffon ran to Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap fought and defeated the Big Griffon.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap walked to the wheel.

"It's really damaged. It can't work." Spyro said.

"Don't worry. We can repair it. After all, we ruined the Griffon's plans many times before. They hate us and we hate them." Ronald and Cynder said.

Then Ronald and Cynder repaired the wheel.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap got on their hind legs and grabbed the wheel and then turned the wheel until it couldn't be turned anymore and then they let go of the wheel and put their front legs back on the ground.

Then a first door opened and let out water and filled the dam until it was quarter full.

"It looks like this dam isn't full." Ronald and Cynder said.

"Oh, Spyro, why don't we fill up the dam and then open the flood gates?" Whirlwind asked.

"That's a great idea, Whirlwind! If we fill up the whole dam and then open the gates then a lot of water will fill up the canyon and really slow down the Destroyer." Spyro said.

"But we should watch out for more Griffons!" Ronald and Cynder said.

"Got it." Spyro said.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap turned left and flew off into the sky and flew all the way to the Dam Zade and then flew down and landed on the ground.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap walked to the fourteen Small Griffons.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap fought and defeated the fourteen Small Griffons.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap walked to the seven Medium Griffons.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap fought and defeated the seven Medium Griffons.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap walked to the Big Griffon.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap fought and defeated the Big Griffon.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap walked to the wheel.

Then Ronald and Cynder repaired the wheel.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap got on their hind legs and grabbed the wheel and then turned the wheel until it couldn't be turned anymore and then they let go of the wheel and put their front legs back on the ground.

Then a second door opened and let out water and filled the dam until the dam got half full.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap walked thirty two steps forward and then flew off into the sky and flew all the way to the Dam Yade and then flew down and landed on the ground.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap walked to the fourteen Small Griffons.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap fought and defeated the fourteen Small Griffons.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap walked to the seven Medium Griffons.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap fought and defeated the seven Medium Griffons.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap walked to the Big Griffon.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap fought and defeated the Big Griffon.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap walked to the wheel.

Then Ronald and Cynder repaired the wheel.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap got on their hind legs and grabbed the wheel and then turned the wheel until it couldn't be turned anymore and then they let go of the wheel and put their front legs back on the ground.

Then a third door opened and let out water and filled up the dam until it was third quarter full.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap turned around and walked thirty two steps forward and then flew off into the sky and flew all the way to the Dam Rade and then flew down and landed on the ground and then turned right.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap walked to the fourteen Small Griffons.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap fought and defeated the fourteen Small Griffons.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap walked to the seven Medium Griffons.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap fought and defeated the seven Medium Griffons.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap walked to the Big Griffon.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap fought and defeated the Big Griffon.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap walked to the wheel.

Then Ronald and Cynder repaired the wheel.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap got on their hind legs and grabbed the wheel and then turned it until it couldn't be turned anymore and then they let go of the wheel and put their front legs back on the ground.

Then a fourth door opened and let out water and filled up the dam until it was full.

Then Spyro and Whirlwind turned around and walked sixty four steps forward.

"It's not working." Whirlwind said.

"What else can we do?" Spyro asked.

"We have to let the water out, all at once." Whirlwind said.

"No, no, here's what we do…" Sparx started.

"Sparx, don't even think about saying that! What Spyro did earlier during the First Arc, Second Arc, and Third Arc is the reason why Father and Mother didn't want me to meet him earlier so don't you start doing it!" Cynder said.

"Do you think that's really the reason why they didn't want you to meet Spyro earlier? Maybe it's something else and they're lying about it…" Sparx said.

"Sparx, don't you accuse Ethan and Kris of being liars! They said that Cynder could meet if she passed the test and she did! And Ethan and Kris were right about Spyro in the first place so that means that they're telling the truth!" Ronald said.

"Spyro, can you tell Ronald that you didn't say anything wrong back then?" Sparx asked.

"Actually, Sparx, I did and you think that I didn't say anything wrong back then because you were asleep." Spyro said.

"Then what did you say?" Sparx asked.

"When Sunburn, Camo, and Zap asked me if I know about the Swamp Spiders, Bulb Spiders, and Growths and I said that I did but I also said but who cares about them and told them that they're just enemies that I need to beat and then Sunburn, Camo, and Zap got mad at me for saying that." Spyro said,

"That wasn't nice, Spyro. Those enemies have feelings too." Whirlwind said.

"Yeah, I know but at that time, I was a Jerk who didn't care about the enemies that I defeated but Ronald has taught me a lot and I changed because of him so Sparx, please don't say that Ethan and Kris are liars because they're not." Spyro said.

"Alright, I won't but you should have told me what you said back then." Sparx said.

"Yeah, I know but it won't happen again!" Spyro said.

"It better be." Sparx said.

"Anyway, Ronald and Cynder, now that the Dam is full, can we open the flood gates?" Spyro asked.

Then Ronald and Cynder turned around and heard sounds of the cheetahs and the moles fighting.

"No, they're still fighting. We have to wait until they're done fighting and also until our own parents and our friends' parents along with the Guardians, the other new citizens, and the old citizens are done too because the flood could kill them as well and we don't want that." Ronald and Cynder said.

"Got it." Spyro said.

Then Ronald and Cynder turned right and flew off into the sky and flew all the way to the Dam Vade and then flew down and landed on the ground.

Then Ronald and Cynder attacked and destroyed the strange green crystal.

Then Ronald gained a Green Magic Crystal and Cynder gained a Green Magic Crystal and Spyro gained a Green Magic Crystal and Whirlwind gained a Green Magic Crystal and Sunburn gained a Green Magic Crystal and Camo gained a Green Magic Crystal and Zap gained a Green Magic Crystal.

Then Ronald and Cynder turned around and then flew off into the sky and flew all the way to the Dam Tade and then flew down and landed on the ground.

Then Ronald and Cynder attacked and destroyed the strange red crystal.

Then Ronald gained a Red Life Crystal and Cynder gained a Red Life Crystal and Spyro gained a Red Life Crystal and Whirlwind gained a Red Life Crystal and Sunburn gained a Red Life Crystal and Camo gained a Red Life Crystal and Zap gained a Red Life Crystal.

Then Ronald and Cynder turned back around and flew off into the sky and flew all the way to the Dam Rade and then flew down and landed on the ground and then turned right.

Then Thorn, Saphira, Ethan, Kris, Bayou, Arizona, David, Cayenne, Kosh, and Emma were flying towards the Dam.

Then Thorn, Saphira, Ethan, Kris, Bayou, Arizona, David, Cayenne, Kosh, and Emma stopped flying straight when they were eight levels above the Dam.

Then Ronald and Cynder flew off into the sky and flew to Thorn, Saphira, Ethan, Kris, Bayou, Arizona, David, Cayenne, Kosh, and Emma.

"The Cheetahs and Moles have left the canyon and are back in Mystical City. Tell Spyro and Whirlwind to get ready to open the flood gates and tell Sunburn, Camo, and Zap to get ready to unlock the dam gates and get ready to open them. Bayou, Arizona, David, Cayenne, Kosh, and Emma will watch and say when it's time to unlock the gates." Thorn, Saphira, Ethan, and Kris said.

"Got it." Ronald and Cynder said.

Then Ronald and Cynder turned around.

"Spyro and Whirlwind, get ready to open the flood gates!" Ronald and Cynder said.

Then Spyro and Whirlwind flew off into the sky and went to the flood gates.

"Sunburn, Camo, and Zap, get ready to unlock the gates!" Ronald and Cynder said.

Then Sunburn, Camo, and Zap flew off into the sky and went to the buttons.

Then Ronald and Cynder went to the levers.

Then the old citizens and the other new citizens went back to Mystical City.

"Now, it's time to unlock the dam gates!" Bayou, Arizona, David, Cayenne, Kosh, and Emma said.

"Sunburn, Camo, and Zap, unlock the dam gates!" Thorn, Saphira, Ethan, and Kris said.

Then Sunburn, Camo, and Zap pressed the buttons and unlocked the dam gates.

Then the Guardians went back to the Mystical City.

"On three, open the gates when we say, "Go", Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, and Cynder. One… Two… Three… Go!" Thorn, Saphira, Ethan, and Kris said.

Then Ronald and Cynder pulled the levers and opened the dam gates while Spyro and Whirlwind opened the floodgates and a lot of water came and filled the canyon and really slowed down the Destroyer and cooled down the fire.

Then Ronald and Cynder let go of the levers while Spyro and Whirlwind let go of the gates while Sunburn, Camo, and Zap let go of the buttons.

Then the Guardians went back to the Destroyer and the other citizens went back to the Destroyer..

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, Zap, Thorn, Saphira, Ethan, Kris, Bayou, Arizona, David, Cayenne, Kosh, and Emma flew to the Guardians.

"Now, it's our chance! Attack the Destroyer!" Terrador and Minerallayas said.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap flew and headed to the Destroyer.

Another Note: The new antagonists, the Griffons who are mentioned earlier, replaced the Wyverns and the Orcs here in the Dam.

Another Note: The Griffons look like Sonic Boom but neither of them are Sonic Boom as she doesn't exist in this story.

Another Note: Dark Spyro returns much earlier but only for a short while before returning back to Spyro.

Another Note: Ronald and Cynder have faced the Griffons a lot of times before Spyro began his adventure when they were doing their job.

Another Note: Ronald's parents, Thorn and Saphira, Cynder's parents, Ethan and Kris, Sunburn's parents, Bayou and Arizona, Camo's parents, David and Cayenne, and Zap's parents, Kosh and Emma, help Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap with the opening of the gates at the right time.
