Hello everyone!
First, I want to apologize for being away so long. I had a loss in my family. His name was Max, and he was my dog and my best friend. I had him since 2005, going into my first year of high school all the way to 2017. He was my best K9 friend, and it was a very heavy loss for everyone in our family. So don't you worry. I have no intention of ending this story anytime soon. Again, I apologize for being away so long.
The silence was deafening as they set off just as the sun was beginning to rise. It made the breach cut through the sky like shattered glass. She was not happy they had to leave as early as they did. Cullen and Cassandra hadn't shut up about the entire mages option. Finally, she put her fist down and snapped at them both. They already checked the Templars, now they have the chance to meet the mages. The early morning didn't bother her too much. The fade is never ending dream as far as training goes with Solas. He has been trying to teach her from basic mental attacks from certain demons. The despair demon was the worst for her by far. Sighing, she slumped forward on her Hart, Fen.
"I know this isn't exactly what you wanted to do, Eva." Cassandra's voice cut through the silence. Most of them were not even fully awake. "But we must reach out to the mages. I'm sorry that we had to take you away from your friend."
Eva sighed at the commentary. "I finally meet someone to play with… Without mocking my ears, or the cause' I'm an elf." A frown tugged at her lips as she gently cracked the whips on her Hart. She caught up to Varric and Solas. Both were quiet, even though Cassandra continued about the benefits of seeking both sides. And since Eva was also a mage in training, they were more likely to trust her over the Templars. Eva looked over to Solas, their eyes caught and he offered a smile. As if he already answered her question. He packed an extra roll, pillow, and extra blankets. Cassandra always kept her up with her snoring and Varric talked too much for her liking. Solas also provided protection for her. He watched as she slept on the nights that she had training. And when she rested from training, he stood guard over her in the fade to ensure no demons bothered her, though his shape always changed. She did not know who he was in her dreams, he always made sure of that.
"Do we really need to stop?" Varric asked as he unpacked his gear. "I mean we have plenty of elfroot, yeah?" Eva just huffed as she continued to collect them with Solas and Cassandra. Eva plucked one from the ground, dusted it off a bit and popped it in her mouth.
"Ugh," Cassandra grunted. "I don't know how you eat that, Eva." Eva giggled and gave a small shrug. "Mamae and I used to nibble on these all the time. Plus, their herbal and healing aids. They always taste minty too." Cassandra smiled slightly and put a handful of elfroot in her sack. "Good memories. Remember them." Eva nodded just slightly but felt the pang in her heart. Perhaps she should bring elfroot to her mother's grave. She made sure to always bring flowers and visit as often as she could when they were in Haven. The sharp sting felt like it shot to her heart. "My memories…That's what I have of my Mamae." Her voice dipped a bit as she plucked another elfroot from the ground. Green eyes met the green leaves of elfroot. She always helped her Mamae picking out herbs for the clan as they traveled to different areas in the forests. They never stayed long at one place. "I wonder how they're doing…," Eva said.
"Who?" Cassandra asked as they headed back to their horses, fully stock on herbs and some meat for dinner.
"My clan," she frowned. I don't know why mamae and I had to go to that place…"
Solas paused and glanced over to Cassandra and Eva. Dying alone. Solas thought. He knew her pain but in a very different way. One of his fears if he is unable to achieve him goal, after he cleaned up this mess with the breach. In the fade he stumbled across his worst fears in the fade. Haunting memories of those past. If I can enlighten her in the ways, perhaps she has a chance of not becoming lost in the shadows.

Varric handled dinner as always. Cassandra didn't enjoy skinning any animals, Solas usually was tending to other matters around camp, and Eva flat out refused because it was gross. "About fine minutes guys." Varric announced. Cassandra just finished setting the tents up.
"Eva are you sure you do not want to sleep in here with me?" Cassandra asked as she placed her gear and bedroll inside her tent. Eva giggled a bit as she shook her head. "No sorry you are loud." Varric's laughter erupted on the other side of camp. Cassandra shot a glare in his direction as Solas smirked a bit. Eva wasn't wrong. It was one of moments that he was thankful he was a mage. Sound blocking shields. He did however, value his life so that little thought stayed to himself. Besides, Varric always took care of things when it came to getting on Cassandra's nerves. Sometimes he almost pitted him when she would attempt to punch him.
"Nope." Eva said as Varric started to stop laughing. "Fair enough," Cassandra said as she grabbed some goat meat. Eva had already had some and was now chewing on an elfroot again. Solas always did his own thing. Never was a fan of meat all time. He did however sit near his tent, going through scriptures and books about Tevinter history. Anything about magisters or history of them he can get. Some were a puzzle that he would often go over in his head for several hours, only to reach and end. Like darkness is all he can see. On top of training Eva on his history, the gods, and when he can; the truth of the dread wolf.
