Sorry this one took me a bit. Was working out some things in upcoming chapters, but I think I'm good now. Anyway, let's get onto the chapter :)

"Yes I KNOW everybody's complaining about the treaty!"

Paddy walked off the schoolbus, talking into a P.I.P.E.R. as he made his after school walk.

"I promise they're not gonna try something! …. Because if they try something, Fanny's gonna get in trouble too. She wouldn't be stupid enough to risk- HEY!"

Paddy's transmission was cut off when a figure shoved him into the ground.

"You got a LOT of nerve pulling a stunt like that, you know that?!"

Paddy looked up at his older sister, a S.R.I.R.A.C.H.A. pointed right at his head.

"Fanny! What are you doing? Let me go!"

"You thought you and your little friends could pull a fast one on my Ninjas!"

"What are you talking about?!"

"Your cruddy little Sector took 2 of my Ninjas!" Fanny pulled out a photo. "I should've known it was just a trap!"

Paddy looked at the photo, squinting at the figure. "...Sector W?!...why would they-"

"Probably cause their "LEADER" told them too!" Fanny pressed the S.R.I.R.A.C.H.A. closer in his face. "And here I thought you were serious about that truce!"

Paddy gulped as Fanny pressed further on the weapon trigger. "No Fanny don't! If you hit me with that, I'm gonna tell Mom!"

Fanny thought about it for a moment, pulling the weapon away slightly. Paddy tried to get up, before he was suddenly shoved back onto the sidewalk.

"I'll take my chances", Fanny smirked devilishly.

Wally and Kuki looked out towards the large treehouse.

"Yup, that nerd was right", Wally nodded, looking into a pair of makeshift glass soda binoculars. Inside the treehouse, were the missing Ninjas, tied up in yoyos. "Bartie and Virginia are inside."

"Great. Well let's hurry and get them out of there", Kuki grabbed her weapon, as Wally grabbed his. "Maybe after we rescue them, we can turn this night into a double date."

"Maybe babe", Wally shrugged nonchalantly. Try as he might, his cheeks still turned red. "Well uh, you ready?"

"Ready", Kuki nodded, the 2 Ninjas going to work.

Inside the treehouse, Bartie and Virginia, still decked out in B.R.A.s, struggled to break free from the ropes.

"Come on", Virginia groaned. "They're just stupid yoyos, why isn't this working?"

"It isn't going to work", Lee's voice piped up, as he arrived in the center of the base. "It's a special rope from our 2x4 technology. The strongest yoyo string in the world. Unbreakable."

"If it didn't work hours before, it wouldn't work now", Sonia followed him into the room.

"Let us go brats", Bartie yelled to them. "What's the game behind this anyway?"

"That's on a need to know basis", Sonia glared at them. "and you 2 DON'T need to know!"

"Aw come on!" Virginia groaned. "It isn't like we did anything to you….yet."

"Yeah, but if we let you go, you WILL", Sonia fired back.

Virginia growled at the girl.

"Hey hey hey", Bartie talked as much as he could in-between them. "We've got other things to do today aside from being here." Virginia nodded; they had a whole afternoon of nothing planned being ruined. "Look kid, if you let us go, we won't beat your butts today. We promise, won't say anything."

"Yeah we won't tell a soul", Virginia nodded along. She knew Bartie would make her keep their word for today.

They'd wait to give the butt bearing tomorrow.

"No can do", the kids wouldn't budge. "You're gonna be staying with us for a while."

"But WHY?!"

CRASH!

The banter was interrupted when an object smashed through the window. Lee and Sonia looked over at the object, to figure out what it was.

"Oh no", Lee's face fell flat when he saw a football fused with wires.

"Oh YEAH", Virginia smirked. "The good old-

"Lee, take cover!"

The duo of Sector W ducked under their furniture, as the F.O.O.T.B.O.M.B. ticked down.

BOOM!

In the large blast, 2 figures entered as the dust settled.

"Alright hand them over!" Wally held a S.R.I.R.A.C.H.A. out in the base. "Where are you? Come on out here and FIGHT!"

Kuki walked behind her boyfriend with her own special weapon. "There you guys are!"

She ran over to Bartie and Virginia, still tied up in the strings.

"I got you guys don't worry", Kuki held up her weapon and, despite Lee's warning, cut through the string like better.

Sonia and Lee came out from their hiding spot, sporting a S.U.G.A.H.-C.R.A.S.H. and S.P.I.C.E.R. respectively.

"Ha", Virginia laughed, holding up the strings. "Unbreakable huh?"

"WHAT", Lee was aghast. "But that's unpossible! How did-?!"

Kuki laughed, and swung her weapon into view. "There isn't ANYTHING the Kids Next Door can invent more powerful than MY-"

"I still don't really like that acronym", Kuki looked at her weapon in thought.

"Well it's not an easy word to make one for ya know", Wally shrugged. "I didn't even know that word HAD a Y."

"Hate to interrupt the English lesson, but" Virginia pointed to their enemies. "Can we beat them up now?!"

"Oh right." And the 4 teens charged against the 2 kids with a battle cry.

A fight broke out in the treehouse. Lee fought against Wally and Bartie holding his own. Hot sauce and sriracha splattered across the wood, the boys dodging with jumps and failed punches.

Sonia launched an array of goodies at Virginia and Kuki. Virginia dodged as she ran closer to the operative, as Kuki tore bags apart, spinning her S.C.Y.T.H.E. around like a fan.

Lee ducked under Bartie's feet, and spun a yoyo around the boys ankles.

"What the-AAA!" And Bartie was brought down to the floor, his legs forced together from the string. Lee flung another at Wally, but the teen just grabbed the yoyo.

"Nice try mate", Wally pulled the yoyo, dragging Lee closer to him by the finger.

Chunks of Skunky Scout candy fell like snow around the base, Kuki's S.C.Y.T.H.E. making a sizable dent in Sonia's snack inventory. She walked closer to the girl, dodging more sweets and goodies.

Virginia jumped from behind Sonia, and smacked the S.U.G.A.H.-C.R.A.S.H. out of Sonia's hand. "Hey!"

"Give it up kid", Virginia chuckled. At the same time, Wally just Lee straight into his grasp. "You two are DONE!"

"Not for long they aren't!"

The teenagers stopped their fight as another voice spoke up in the treehouse.

"That's right! I am the terror sleeping in the night. The terrible terror that terrorizes terrors of children everywhere! The sleep that has been awoken for JUSTICE!"

A dramatic shadow loomed in the treehouse over the fight, a figure draped over the window.

"For you have just awoken the horrible wrath known as-"

The figure dramatically unfolded a dark blue cape, revealing a chubby child with a dark blue fedora, googles, a light blue shirt and dark blue pants, and black army boots.

"THE TOMMY!"

The Ninjas looked for a moment, before Wally rolled his eyes.

"Aw great YOU again", he groaned. "Shouldn't you be at home bugging Hoagie about something?"

"Not when you're hurting innocent kids I'm not", Tommy didn't budge. "Now put my friends down!" He leapt down the window and ran with a loud battle cry towards the teenagers. Tommy prepared the first punch AND….

CLANG!

His fist stopped right against the metal of Bartie's Armor.

"OWWWWW!!!!" Tommy held his fist and cried in pain. "OW! OW! OW! OW! OW!"

The 6 looked at each other, unamused at the "heroics". Sonia shook her head. "And THIS is why we use weapons."

"Oh SWEET YIPPER, that hurts", Tommy continued on about his hand. Unfortunately, it was enough for Bartie to just tackle him then and there.

"This gets easier every time you know" Bartie commented on the "fight".

"So", Wally pointed his S.R.I.R.A.C.H.A. to Lee's face. "Are we gonna blow this dump the easy way or the hard way?"

Kuki similarly pointed her S.C.Y.T.H.E. towards Sonia. "PLEASE say the easy way. We've already missed a movie date cause of you 2."

Sonia looked at Lee and Tommy, concerned. Lee and Tommy looked at her, trying to see what she would do. Sonia looked back at the Ninjas, and made a scowl. "You guys are NOT leaving as long as we can help it!"

"LET THEM GO!"

Another voice entered the base. Sonia and Lee gulped, recognizing exactly who it was.

"Numbuh 85, Supreme Leader sir", the 2 saluted, despite the threats in front of them.

"Not the time for formalities", Paddy cried, before he rubbed his eyes again, burning red and teary. "Now release the Ninjas."

"But sir-"

"IT'S ABOUT TIME WE ARRIVED!" Paddy was pushed down to the ground as his older sister walked into the treehouse. "FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, THERE WERE BUGS FLYING FASTER THAN US!"

"The Fan, dude sir", the 4 Ninjas also saluted, their weapons still pointed straight at Sector W.

"Ninjas", Fanny greeted warmly. "Sector W", that greeting wasn't AS warm, and accompanied by a glare.

"Ugghh", Tommy groaned under Bartie's grasp.

Fanny groaned and rolled her eyes. "And Tommy."

Tommy waved. "Ah sweet! I'm in the mix too!"

"SHUT UP!" Fanny's fiery stare was enough to zip the vigilante's lip. She turned her attention back to Sector W. "Well what are you waiting for?! Give me back my Ninjas!"

"NO", Sonia still refused. "We can't do that!"

"Oh yes you can", Fanny growled. "They didn't do anything….at least not yet", she looked up at Bartie and Virginia. She was well aware of how those 2 operated.

"I hate to say, but my sister's right", Paddy got up from the ground. "They didn't bother us, so we don't need to bother them. Numbuh 83, let them go."

"Numbuh 85-"

"Now!"

"But sir! They can't-"

"Numbuh 83! That's a direct order!"

Sonia looked at Paddy, who just glared. After a moment of silence, Sonia lifted her hands up to surrender. Lee followed suit, and walked over to Sonia.

Fanny snapped her fingers at Wally and Kuki, who withdrew their weapons.

"Come on let's go", she pointed outside. "We've already wasted enough time here."

The 4 Ninjas walked outside, making small talk amongst themselves. Something about rescheduling a movie date or something. That wasn't really the focus right now.

Paddy looked back to his sister, apologetic. "I am SO sorry about this again, Fanny-"

"THE FAN!" Paddy was blown back by Fanny's shout. "And if you think we're gonna work on that treaty tonight, forget it!"

Fanny walked off grumbling to join her Ninjas. "Cruddy brother. Stoopid organization. Need to get some pizza or something."

Paddy watched as Fanny left with the other teenagers. Soon their chatter stopped with a loud metallic slam, and a big black hover-van was flying off into the sky.

"WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!"

Fanny slumped in her bean bag chair at her main hangout. Bartie, Virginia, Wally, Kuki, and Rachel were also there after the rescue.

"Who knows?" Rachel tried to reassure her friend. "Honestly, who knows why those kids do anything?"

"Exactly. Even you know it's crud, and you weren't even there", Fanny looked up at Rachel. "...Are you SURE you don't want to be on the field?"

"Oh! Oh yeah I'm sure, TOTALLY sure", Rachel shifted her eyes back and forth, and cleared her throat. "But at least everybody's back in one piece now."

"Yeah." Bartie sighed and stretched comfortably on the couch alongside Virginia. "Thanks for coming to get us, guys."

"No problem", Fanny smirked at the rescued duo. "NOBODY takes my Ninjas and gets away with it. Especially not some backstabbing kids." Fanny looked at the ground and grimaced just at the thought of it.

Virginia raised an eyebrow, sensing her shorter boss's wheels turning. "So what are gonna do about it?"

"Well if THEY'RE gonna go back on their end of the deal, so are we", Fanny smirked.

"You mean like call off the treaty", Rachel asked. If Fanny had paid more attention, she might've caught a hint of concern in Rachel's voice.

"No, not yet", Fanny shuddered. "I'll be lucky if I don't get in trouble with Mom over using the S.R.I.R.A.C.H.A….We need something more tricky, outsmart them." Fanny stroked her chin and chuckled. "With their IQs that won't be hard."

"Oooo", Virginia and Bartie chuckled devilishly. "I like the sound of that boss."

Rachel looked at her friend nervously. What was Fanny thinking? Was it another treaty ambush?

"Yeahhh. That'd be fun", Kuki giggled. "But…how?"

Fanny stopped at that question. "... I'm still not sure. I'll have to think of something."

Rachel sighed in relief, before following up with a "well I'm sure the idea will come to you soon."

"Yeah, soon", Fanny said absentmindedly.

The 6 sat in silence around the hangout, aside from the TV on some teen sitcom for ambience.

"So, uh…," Bartie asked, trying to start a new conversation. "Anything interesting happened while we were gone?"

"Aw guys!" Wally shouted up from his spot, "You missed the BEST thing today!"

"What?" Virginia asked in interest.

"You know Dork-lovsky?"

Fanny's head perked up at the name. 'Lovsky?'

"Heck yeah we do," Bartie answered and chuckled. He already knew this story was gonna be wild. "So what happened to him this time? Ketchup bomb?"

"Tied up to a flagpole?" Virginia asked.

"Dodgeball invasion?" they both asked in unison.

"Even more pathetic than all of those combined!" Wally leaned closer to the duo. "Ok, so I heard from Peter who was there, that in second period, during his algebra class..."

"Yes?" The partners leaned in further towards the blonde.

"He fell asleep…"

"Yeah?"

"And during the class…"

"Yeah?"

"He...he...he"

"He what?! He what?!"

The 3 teens were nose in nose. Wally barely held back enough chuckles to get out the "punchline".

"He wet his pants."

There was a brief moment of silence, before Bartie and Virginia suddenly burst out laughing, practically falling off the couch.

"Are you serious?!" Bartie asked Wally in disbelief.

"Yeah man! You should've been there around lunch! His mom came for him and everything."

"Yeah," Kuki added. "You could hear her screaming all the way from the cafeteria. Going on about 'the school curricular' and 'too early hours' and 'her poor little Patty-cake'."

"No way", tears fell down Virginia's face. "He wet his pants AND had to get his Mommy?!"

"I know", Wally smiled. "What is he, 4?!"

The 3 laughed even harder at the thought. Fanny watched them; normally she would've laughed along at a pathetic situation like that, but this time…didn't feel right.

"And guess what?" Wally continued on, and pointed to their leader. "The Fan was picked to be his personal escort down the hall of shame."

"What?," the duo asked, their attention turning to Fanny in her chair. "YOU were his escort?"

"No", Fanny pushed her shades further over her eyes. "I just had to get a janitor and took him to the nurse, that's all."

"Uh-huh. So what else happened? Did he cry?" Virginia snickered. "I bet he cried."

"I bet he bawled all over you."

Fanny paused. It wasn't really all over HER specifically, but it WAS bawl. "...Well-"

"Oh no no! Forget what he did", Bartie stopped her answer "What did YOU do? You give him a verbal thrashing?"

"No", Fanny tried to shut them down from finding out the truth.

"Make him trip in the hallways?"

"NO."

"A one way ticket to swirly-ville?"

"NO. NOTHING! Happened!," she finally shouted, shaking the hangout. Speckles of dirt shook down from under the concrete as everyone looked back at their leader's sudden outburst.

"I'm sorry, it's just...there's nothing to tell," Fanny turned to her side, away from the rest of the group. The 5 teenagers looked at their leader, still in a bit of shock.

"...Well you didn't have to shout about it," Kuki finally said. The teens backed off from Fanny, taking the hint, and went back to their previous positions.

"Well, it figures," Bartie said, finally breaking the silence. "The one day we get kidnapped is the day the resident dork decides to go wet himself."

"Yeah," Kuki added. "I'd hate to be in his shoes. I mean, just imagine what he's gonna get tomorrow."

As she finished talking, Fanny closed her eyes under her sunglasses. Try as she might, her mind was racing, remembering how earlier the guy was panicking over the accident.

'Do you know what's gonna happen to me tomorrow?'

Patton's question started to ring in her head as she felt a strange twinge in her stomach. Almost like...guilt or something.

"Hey Bart," Virginia got her partner's attention. "We need to think of a new nickname for this moment!"

"Shoot, you're right", Bartie snapped his fingers. "And we've already lost like 6 hours to think of it!"

"Ok, ok, ok." The 2 started to think of possibilities. "How about..Drilov-splash?"

"No. Doesn't roll off the tongue well", Virginia thought further. "How about Sprink-lovsky?"

"Ehh. That's kinda awkward too."

"What about the Toilet-later?" Wally interjected.

"That one doesn't even make sense."

The list of potential names continued on, as Fanny thought about the events of the day.

"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!"

Back at Sector W, Paddy was giving a harsh reprimanding.

"I JUST told everybody how important it is that we don't do ANYTHING to provoke the Ninjas, and not even an HOUR later, you kidnap 2 of them!"

"Yes sir", Lee and Sonia both hung their heads to the ground.

"Well how was I supposed to know that?" Tommy didn't have the same shame as his friends. "I didn't know you were signing some truce."

"Why were YOU even helping? You're not an operative anymore!" Paddy pointed to Tommy specifically.

"But Lee and Sonia are my friends!" Tommy got cross back. "And I'm gonna help them when they ask!"

"Which brings us back to the gazillion dollar question; why would you 2 even DO this?!" Paddy looked back at Lee and Sonia. "They didn't even do anything back first yet!"

The 3 friends looked at each other in worry.

"Oh well uh…", Sonia rubbed the back of her neck. "Well the reason we did it was, uh…Tommy?"

"Oh! Uh", Tommy twiddled his fingers. "Well it's a VERY good reason. See those 2 were um…well they were gonna, uhhh…..Lee?"

Lee just looked at his yo-yo, as it bobbed up and down from the string. "Uh…..because um..because…"

Paddy groaned. "See? You didn't even have a REASON to kidnap them! How am I supposed to work on this truce with Fanny if she thinks we're just gonna double cross her?!"

"We're sorry Numbuh 85, sir", Sonia looked back to the wood floor.

"Yeah. It wasn't cool", Lee also hung his head in shame.

"You're darn right it wasn't! Teen Ninjas surveillance is off the table until further-"

However, Paddy was interrupted by a P.I.P.E.R. transmission.

"Supreme Leader Numbuh 85 in", he spoke into the P.I.P.E.R. "...What?! No! Not Knightbrace!" Paddy groaned. "No visuals huh?... Alright I'm on my way."

Paddy put the P.I.P.E.R. back into his pocket. "Luckily for you 2, I have to go, but we are NOT done talking about this!"

"Yes sir", Lee, Sonia, and even Tommy nodded. Paddy jumped out of the treehouse window, into his own personal space craft, and flew off into the early night sky.

After a few seconds of silence, Tommy sighed in relief. "Phew! That was close."

"TOO close", Lee agreed. "Right Sonia?"

However, the girl didn't answer. Instead she looked out the window, where the teens had taken off.

"Sonia?" The boys walked towards her, as their friend took her gaze away from outside. Sonia sighed, and took the brown beanie off her head. She stared at it remorsefully. Lee got the message, looking awkwardly at his orange gloves. And even Tommy took the hint, staring at his black army boots.

"... They're gonna kill him tomorrow", Sonia finally spoke, with a concerned look. The boys looked at each other and sighed.

"Yeah…they are."

Oooo. Some things start to come together.

Hope you enjoyed it and please review. Reviews are always appreciated :)
