Battlestar Galactica, 0800 hours; an hour after the briefing on vampires and souls.

Commander Adama wanted to be alone.

All he wanted to do was be alone. Knowing what happened to his son weighed down on him, and while he couldn't believe that such a thing as a soul being restored to one now dead, or rather, undead was possible, there was one part of him that was telling him to trust the Earthers.

But that small part of him was just a small voice, that vanished under a feeling of anguish.

After Willow, Angel, Buffy, and the others had left for Earth, the Commander excused himself from Roslin and the others, telling them that he wanted to be alone for a little while. The President looked at him, Billy, Racetrack, and then at Riley and Dr. Burke who could tell that everything the had learned had already, and was continuing to, crash into the Commander.

"Commander," said Riley, "would you…"

"I would like to be alone," repeated Commander Adama before he nodded at the man, and then at Dr. Burke, and the others. Roslin knew that the Commander was important to not only the fleet, he was important to her as her confidant, and he was her rock. The both of them had been there for each other ever since the attacks, and she couldn't help but look on as he walked towards the Raptors in the distance with his shoulders slouched forward. Before walking away with Riley and the others, Roslin watched him get into one of the Raptors before telling herself that she would give him some time to himself before checking on him.

It took Commander Adama a few minutes to fly from the surface of New Kobol, to the Galactica. He landed the ship in the flight pod, and then he was brought down to the hanger bay, where he was met by Chief Laird. Commander Adama could see that the Chief was about to say something, but the look he gave the man as he stepped onto the stubby wing effectively stopped the younger man from saying anything. The two men looked at each other, and the Chief could tell that something had happened. He saw the same look of loss in the Commander's eyes that he had seen after the incident on the Scylla; the same haunted look that the men and women, who had their families killed by the crew of the Pegasus, had in their eyes, existed in the Commander as he walked past the Chief. Chief Laird watched the man walk away and wondered what could have happened.

But this wasn't the time to ask the Commander about his personal life, the Chief knew he still had plenty of work to do. He had some good news about the computerized simulation tests on the Ancient shields that had been carried out for the past month; the power sources that the Earthers wanted to use to power the Ancient shields needed to be at least eighty percent efficiency. However, everywhere that the Earthers and Colonial engineers, including Baltar, simulated the shield activation, all of them were failures. The only way, they discovered a week after the testing had begun, was to use the Earthers own wiring; the same wiring that was used on the Earth warships.

And it was something that the Commander had agreed to.

He and the Chief were there when the first large roll of wiring was sent via Stargate to New Kobol. SG Officers and engineers had pushed bundles which made up several hundred feet of wiring through the Gate on two trolleys, as well as an old control console, along with four shield emitters coming to them via the Excalibur. The idea was to install the console on a section of the ship, and then install the warning using the Earthers equipment. The console would then activate the naquada generator, and in turn power the shield emitters. The four emitters would be a test if the shield could hold, and it would be installed on a section of the hull at the 'alligator head' of the Battlestar.

Back in the represent day, Chief Laird thought it best to tell the Commander later that they had already installed Colonial software into the console the Earthers had provided, and the device itself had already been installed. One part of it was attached to what would be later referred to a bank of computers known as 'Shield and Weapons Control' at the CIC which would be able to monitor the shield strength and coverage. The connections to the naquada generator were going to be made within a few days by the Colonial crew in their space suits. In the meantime, the already installed shield emitters where due to be connected in two more weeks.

And then the testing would begin. Followed soon by a survey on the locations where the new Goa'uld plasma cannons would be located.

As the Chief walked away, he knew that the good news would be the completion of this one small task, the installation of the console, and then the part that could spell disaster for everyone would be the shield testing phase. If the shields weren't powered at eighty percent or more, or if there was a blackout, or worse… an explosion; then they had to begin from square one once again.

'I just hope not,' thought Laird to himself.

In the meantime, the Commander was in his own thoughts as he walked past the crew who were running around the hallways getting to where they needed to go. All of them knew that something was wrong with the one they affectionately called 'the Old Man', and while they still saluted him or nodded their heads… they knew it was better to just stay out of his way. It was several minutes later that the man walked past the guards in front of his quarters, opened the door, and then walked inside.

Closing the door behind him after telling the men to not allow anyone inside, the man leaned on the large hatch, and closed his eyes. Commander Adama had lost his entire family… his ex-wife, Zack, and now Apollo was dead. The Commander started to tear up, tears that he had been holding back as his feet started to feel heavy. He released a sob before covering his mouth as tears travelled down his cheeks while he trudged to his table.

Apollo was dead. That was the thought that went through his mind as he released a loud sob just as he reached his desk, pulled a drawer open, and grabbed a bottle of brown liquid. With it in his left hand, Commander Adama leaned on the wall behind him, and slid down onto the floor with his legs spread out. Crying, he opened the top of the bottle, and then drank the liquid through his mouth. He felt it go down, but the warm feeling from the Ambrosia didn't stop the heart ache, or the feeling of having his body being pressed down by an invisible force. Alone in his quarters, the man continued to cover his eyes and cry.

He had lost his home; his family, and his best friend. The commander silently cried as he took another swig of the brown liquid.

'All gone.' Was the only thought going through the Commander's mind as he clutched the bottle of Ambrosia tight against his chest.

Commander Adama's Quarters, 1300 hours.

With Commander Adama not answering any hails from the CIC, it was the recently returned Helo who accompanied Roslin from her Raptor to the hallway heading towards the Commander's quarters. Roslin was asking Helo, who had only returned a few hours ago from the Beta Site once his leave was finished, about both Sharon and Hope… and if they were doing well. The older redhead smiled when he gushed about the baby and how Sharon was taking to being a mother while working with the team that was examining artefacts brought back up by some of the SG teams from Furling Earth.

"I am sorry that you couldn't have your family here, Captain Agathon," said Roslin as they headed in another hallway. Many of the crew were patting the man on his shoulder, while a few others offered to buy him drinks in the officers Mess on the birth of his daughter. Once he had thanked them, and accepted the drinks offers, the man turned back to Roslin and apologized for the distractions.

"And about Hope and Sharon not being allowed on New Kobol?" he pointed out, "I can understand it. Sharon and I have talked, and while the Earther's base is secure, it's not exactly a place where Hope can grow up to have a normal life."

"So what have you thought about?" asked Roslin.

"Well," said Helo, "Colonel Pierce told me that even though Hope technically is a citizen of the Earth nation that controls the base, she can't visit Earth. And neither can Sharon or I.. at least for now. So Earth is out of the picture."

"And the Quorum is refusing to grant Hope and Sharon Colonial citizenship," said Roslin nodding her head, "so they cannot stay here. They could, but the Quorum is afraid that news will leak that Sharon's a Cylon, and… well…"

"We understand, Ma'am. And Sharon knows that going to the new Cylon Homeworld would mean that we're seen as security threats," said Helo as Roslin looked at the man, "Sharon wants me to stay with the fleet, help in the coming fight with Admiral Cain and the Ori."

"And Sharon?"

"I know she wants to fight the good fight too," said Helo looking down at the floor, "but she's so happy being with Hope… their smiles are so infectious that… I mean… I don't think that she'd let Hope go anytime soon. But she still wants to fight."

Roslin smiled before asking about the Final Five.

Helo told her that Chief Tyrol was helping Triana with creating a program to unblock the memories of the Final Five using the computers that the Galactica had sent them. Helo added that it seemed Tori and the Chief, who were the first ones to accept who they really were… seemed to be getting closer to each other.

"The Colonel is still sulking, and in denial.. but Ellen is starting to accept things are different; that she may be different," said Helo, "and… well, I know it's hard to believe but Ellen and D'Anna have taken a shine to Hope. They're doting on her, as is Triana. And Sam? Well, Sam's miserable that he may not be able to see Kara again. He and the Colonel are still in denial about the whole thing about being from Furling Earth.. I guess it'll take some time."

"I believe so," said Roslin crossing her arms over her chest as the both of them reached the Commander's quarters. The guards straightened up, and saluted the President who returned the salute before she ordered them to open the door. The guards were about to say that the Commander wanted to be alone, but the look on the President's face told them to just follow her orders. The two of them knocked on the door, but there was no answer. They looked at the President who repeated her order, and then they opened the hatch before being ordered to step to one side. Roslin walked past them with Helo, and entered the room… and immediately caught a whiff of Ambrosia in the air. Certain that the Commander wouldn't want his subordinates to see him in whatever way he was now, Roslin turned and ordered Helo back to the CIC. In the meantime, she insisted that Helo take his position as the Executive Officer of the Galactica in the CIC, while the guards that were stationed outside the Commanders room take a few hours of shore leave.

"Madam President," said one of the guards, "we…"

"That's an order from your Commander-in-chief," said the redhead as the guards straightened up, and nodded their heads, "get down to the planet, have a bite to eat.. drink some coffee, take a nap, and then get back up here. Let me talk to the Commander."

"Understood, Madam President," said one of the guards before they left, along with Helo who reminded the President that all she had to do was pick up the hone in the Commander's quarters to be connected directly to the CIC. The redhead nodded, and then stepped in before closing the hatch behind her. She walked into the large room while taking off her suit, and laying it on the couch. She could hear gentle sobs coming from behind the desk, and her heart broke for the man while she walked towards him in her slacks and short-sleeved blouse. The woman walked past the table, and saw the Commander lying on the floor with his uniform unbuttoned, and just staring into the distance while grasping onto the bottle of ambrosia that was more than three quarters finished.

Frowning, Roslin sat down next to his head, and lay her hand on his arm. The man remained unmoved, as if he didn't know that she was there with him, but Roslin suspected that he knew. He knew she was there. The both of them just stayed where they were in silence, one keeping the other company. And it would be a few minutes later that the Commander, sensing that there was someone in the room with him, looked up at the woman.

They looked at each other for a few seconds before he moved slightly and lay his head on her legs. In the meantime, she then ran her hand through his hair while he still grasped to the bottle in his hand. And that was how they remained until the time the Odyssey arrived over New Kobol carrying the remaining Colonial survivors.

Eden, 1400 hours.

Giles was back on Eden so that he could return to Earth for his scheduled break. After having returned from Furling Earth with his Cylon based team, Giles felt as if he was Indiana Jones coming off a grand adventure, it gave him the rush that he had missed. The rush he would get in the olden days when he would go hunt vampires with Buffy and the Scoobies.

He missed working in the field. And now, as he packed his clothes into his bags, Giles was having mixed feelings about his break. On one hand, he was excited that Wesley would be joining him on his return to Eden in two weeks. As agreed, Wesley would be spending a week on Eden with Giles and Dr. Gardner, getting acclimated to off-world travel, and then on the second of his newly negotiated eight week mission, he would travel with the older watcher and another group of Cylons to Furling Earth. However, while he was excited to be joined by Wesley, and he was ecstatic to having to see Buffy and the others again. He was especially curious to see Kathy. Giles was shocked to hear that the very first person that Angelus murdered was not only a vampire, but one of the most unique vampires in history. But that excitement of his was tempered somewhat by the fact that Anna, the Number Three that Giles was enamoured with, wasn't given approval to accompany him to Earth.

It was something that the both of them had expected.

As Giles continued to pack his bags, there was a knock on the door of the refugee unit that he was occupying. These units were really meant for the Earth personnel since the Cylons stayed in either the Baseships, or a few of the Tok'ra crystal towers. Giles looked over his shoulder while he zipped the bag shut and asked whoever it was to come in. Smiling as he turned around when he saw Anna open the door and step into the unit, Giles strode towards her while she closed the door behind her. Anna then reached out and wrapped her arms behind his neck while he placed a hand on the small of her back, and the other hand on the base of her neck and pulled her in for a kiss.

As they kissed, Giles felt as if he was back in his early twenties, their relationship blossoming ever since they had revealed their interest towards each other after the incident where Giles' soul was brought back to Earth by Sineya. And now, the thought of not being able to see her, to touch her, or talk to her for two weeks was like a spike being shoved down into his chest. The older man pulled back from the kiss, the both of them breathing hard, while touching their foreheads together. Looking into each other's eyes, Giles ran his hand though Anna's hair.

"Tomorrow's the day," said Anna as Giles nodded his head while still holding on to her. He still remembered the few hours after his return from Furling Earth with his team; particularly the reaction that the Cylon Council had to the confirmation that they had been seeking on the manifestation of the ascended 'Athena', really Melina in disguise. A fact confirmed by Anna and the other humanoid Cylons present at Camp Three as well. They were also apprised on the existence of the supernatural based on what Anna saw and experienced when Giles' soul was sent to Earth through the Stargate so that he could help with the Slayer trials. So that he could be there when Buffy, Kennedy, and Faith proved their worth to Sineya; and so that he and Wesley proved their worth as well.

While Giles and Anna were speaking to the council with Dr. Gardner by their side, Leoben and the other members of the council wondered about the video they had seen after the meeting on Orban. They had watched the gun jump out of Starbuck's hand, and it was at that time that D'Anna and Leoben suspect that there was a supernatural force partly at work. They had imagined it was a form of telekinesis, or the result of possible advanced technology they hadn't yet encountered, but hearing about the existence of vampires, demons, spirits, and magic weren't what they had been expecting to hear. By the time Giles was done with the debriefing, he could see that the Council were still absorbing everything that they had learned; but in the back of his mind he wondered what they would have said about he and the Scoobies fighting, and defeating, an actual god. Eventually, he felt that the battle against Glory would be best left unspoken.

Back in the present time, Giles and Anna were hugging each other, the younger woman telling the man that she was going to miss him.

"The artefacts we brought back would keep me busy," Anna said as she pulled back slightly with a slight pout on her lips. Just as Giles leaned in for another kiss, there was a knock on his door that caused him to smile before the both of them parted.

"Yes?" asked Giles as the door opened while Anna turned around and moved to one side as Dr. Gardner opened the door as Giles strolled towards her.

"Sarah?" asked Giles as Dr. Gardner stepped in and nodded at him, and then at Anna. Dr. Gardner turned to Giles again before telling him that the Odyssey just exited hyperspace over Eden, and that a Jumper with survivors from the Kobol expedition's Cylon delegation was being sent down.

"Survivors?" asked Anna as they heard the voices of the medical staff in the nearby medical unit calling out for supplies and to get the stretchers ready in case of injuries. Anna and Giles looked out the door, and saw people rushing towards the clearing along with some of the Cylons, and a few Centurions. Anna and Giles then looked at Dr. Gardner who stepped back as the two of them stepped out of the unit and onto the grass outside, "Dr. Gardner, you said Cylon survivors… I heard that an expedition was sent to… oh God, did the Colonials attack us on the…"

"That's what the Council thought too when they were notified," said Dr. Gardner, "but it's not that. They were shocked, just as we were.. just as I know you and Dr. Giles would be."

"What's going on?" asked Giles.

"The expedition was attacked," said Dr. Gardner, "the Cylons, Colonels, and our SG teams were attacked by vampires."

"Oh dear Lord," whispered Giles before the three of them rushed towards a clearing in the distance. All the while, Dr. Gardner was telling the both of them that all she knew was that they had found a survivor from a previous expedition sent by the Cylons who was found on Kobol, a Cylon Number Six, and that she and the others in Starbucks team survived.

"Only Major Neely of the SG team in charge survived though," said Dr. Gardner as they heard a buzz from above as a Puddle Jumper flew towards the clearing. The group was soon together with two of the doctors, and a few nurses, along with some stretchers. Next to then where two Centurions for security while Leoben, Natalie, and D'Anna from the Cylon Council were running up to them. Just as they arrived, the Jumper landed, and then the medical staff gathered as the ramp at the rear of the ship descended. Giles, Dr. Gardner, and Anna ran up to the side of the medical staff as the surviving Cylons were walked to the medical staff who then placed a few of them on stretchers. One of the Number Eights who was on Kobol introduced the stunned Tessa to the members of the Cylon governing Council before Major Neely walked down the ramp.

Seeing the man's uniform, Dr. Gardner and Giles, as well as Anna ran up to him while the medical staff were taking the survivors to the medical tents. The Centurions were looking around, and then at Tessa, before turning to the others in the Governing council who were running to the group. The newcomers looked on stunned at the survivors who were taken past them, with Tessa grabbing a hold of Natalie as she passed the leader on a stretcher.

"You will be taken care of, sister," said Natalie as she patted Tessa's hand, "we have a lot to talk about soon. Let the medical staff see you. And welcome to Eden."

Wordlessly, Tessa was taken away from Natalie, her face in disbelief that everything she was told was true. That they were on another world, a world for Cylons where they would be safe and able to grow their society once again.

"Major," said Dr. Gardner as Major Neely headed towards her, Giles, Anna, and the Council who had rushed up to them. The Council members asked Dr. Gardner about the message they had received from the new base Commander, Colonel Ward. At the mention of his name, the Colonel was the last person to be meeting them at the Jumper which then raised it's ramp and took off. Before anyone could ask any questions, Major Neely, who Dr. Gardner pointed at the Orbanian translator attached to her collar before telling him that there no translation was necessary, nodded his head.

He told the stunned people looking back at him that the Jumper was returning to the Odyssey to pick up the bodies of the dead Cylons, "and there were a lot. As far as I'm aware, every single advanced team that was sent to Kobol, except for mine since we got really lucky; has been killed by vampires."

"What?" asked Giles as he looked off his glasses while Anna held to his arm tight with one hand, while her other hand was covering her mouth. In the meantime, the members of the Council were whispering among themselves while the Centurions that were guarding the Council members were looking at each other, trying to make sense of what the humans and humanoid Cylons in front of them were saying.

Major Neely told them that his team found Tessa, "or rather Tessa found us. She said she was the last survivor of a team that was sent to Kobol in the event that the Colonials made it to that planet."

"Yes," said Simon, "that team was supposed to gain a foothold on the planet, and then shoot down and attack any Colonials that made it to the surface."

"But the Baseship was destroyed by a nuke," replied Boomer, "I remember, I was one of the pilots who destroyed the ship. I guess a new ship wasn't sent."

"No," said Leoben, "by the time we were going to send a ship back, the Ori hit us hard."

"Then my theory was true," whispered Giles as he fixed his glasses, "the Goa'uld must have taken vampires with them when they originally kidnapped the humans from earth."

It would be a few minutes later, after the Jumper returned with the bodies of the dead Cylons, did Colonel Ward, Dr. Gardner, Giles, Anna, and the Council head back to be debriefed by Major Neely. Giles revealed the existence of the Slayer, a surprise to the Council. It was Major Neely who confirmed the existence of magic without mentioning what Dawn or what any of the others did, all he said was that he had seen things that he had at once thought impossible. It would be twenty minutes later that, after the Jumper brought down the last of the bodies, the Odyssey left the orbit of Eden, and began her four-hour journey to New Kobol to return Starbuck who was sitting next to the traumatised and injured Gaeta in the infirmary.

The young man had been singing a song the whole time, even though the blonde Colonial officer was trying to comfort him. He would talk a few times about checking the ruins with one of the Leoben's. He told her that they heard the growls of the vampires heading towards them in the dark, and the Cylon could see that their cap was being overrun. Gaeta, between fits of sobs, told Starbuck how the Cylon and him ran into the ruins, but they were being tracked. Gaeta told the Colonial officer that, to save his life, the Cylon pushed him into a ditched, covered him with dirt and then pushed the rubble onto him. Then he heard the man scream before everything had become quiet. Once he finished that part of the story, Gaeta started to sob again before he looked out into t eh distance, and started to hum a tune.

While the Odyssey was on the way to New Kobol, Giles continued to explain vampire lore to the Cylons while Simon and the medical team were examining Hope and her mother's blood to isolate the chemical that prevented nanites from interfering in natural procreation. In another small building near a Baseship, some of the SGC scientists and a D'Anna, Caprica Six, and a Leoben were discussing with Alana the possible frequencies used by the Colony. They felt that they were very close to cracking the code on a way to track the movements of the Cylon homeworld, and the information that Alana was giving them was useful since they had now four frequency ranges that Cavil could be using.

It would be an hour later that Major Neely left through the Stargate to a buffer world, and from there he was sent to Earth. While the Council were taking in this whole new information on the supernatural, and after they had asked Dr. Gardner to relay their condolences on the loss of Colonial and Earth lives on this expedition to Kobol, Giles and Anna went back to the formers unit.

Giles had closed the door behind him, and locked it as Anna walked backwards while smiling…. And taking off her tank top. She told him that they had a lot to talk about, but later.

New Kobol, four and a half hours later, 1845 hours.

Helo and Starbuck were staring with horror at the sight in front of her. They were standing outside a large room in the basement of one if the Tok'ra crystal towers looking through the transparent, thick, front door at a sneering, yellow-eyed, forehead ridged, and fanged Apollo. They were standing next to the Vice-President, Roslin, Riley and Dr. Burke… and all Starbuck could do what shake her head in disbelief. When the Odyssey had come into orbit and asked to speak to Commander Adama, it was Helo who answered. It was a few minutes later that Helo contacted Commander Adama's quarters, and the phone was picked up by the President. She listened to Helo talking about the Odyssey having returned carrying their people, including Starbuck, from Kobol.

"Captain Agathon, report to the hanger bay," said the President as he looked at Commander Adama who was shaking his head. The President knew that Starbuck needed to brief them on what happened, as did the other Colonials who were with them in the camp. She looked at the Commander, and knew in her heart that he wouldn't want to hear about this at all, so she turned back to the phone on her ear, and told Helo once again to meet her on the hanger deck, "there's something you and Captain Thrace need to see."

On the Raptor, which was flown by Helo back down to the planet, the President told him the truth of what happened to Apollo. At first he didn't believe any of it, insisting that it was ridiculous. But as the Executive Officer of the ship, Helo had a right to know what was going on… her heard what Starbuck had to say, and then they walked with Starbuck, who was asking if Apollo had come back safe and sound, to the prison.

They laid their eyes on their superior officer, and their friend. And Helo's and Starbuck's mouths dropped.

"No, no." Starbuck whimpered as tears gather in her eyes, "Lee."

"Apollo?" whispered Helo.

"Lee?" hissed Apollo as he leapt forward and hit the door, hard. Helo and Starbuck flinched and stepped back, while Starbuck held a hand over her mouth; it was something that Roslin knew was very uncharacteristic for the officer… Starbuck was supposed to be the tough-as-nails Viper jock… but here she was nearly reduced to tears. Something that Helo had rarely seen.

'It is because of Lee Adama, after all,' thought the President to herself as she glanced at the stunned Starbuck, Helo, and then at Apollo who was pressing his hands and forehead against the door while baring his teeth at the group in front of him.

"Kara," whispered Apollo, "Lee is dead."

"No," whimpered Starbuck shaking her head.

"I am better, Kara," he said before sneering at their horrified faces, "I can smell your blood, I can hear your heartbeat… ummm… so.."

"Shut up!" Starbuck cried out, "Shut up!"

"I won't be here for long," chuckled Apollo at the look on Starbuck's face as the horrified Helo held on to his fellow friend, "and Helo, when I get out.. I'll make you and Kara into vampires."

"With all due respect, sir," said Helo stepping back with the whimpering Kara, "shut up."

"Listen to me, Karl," said Apollo as he took on his human visage, "you.. you have to… oh gods…"

"Lee?" asked Starbuck as she pushed Helo away when the imprisoned former officer stumbled back, a look of fear and pain on his face as he closed his eyes, doubled over and grabbed onto his abdomen, "Lee?!"

"It hurts, Kara!" He yelled.

"Open the door!" cried Starbuck as she rushed to the door as Apollo fell to the floor screaming.

However, before Starbuck could do anything the door, Riley tackled her to the ground while screaming at the others not to even think about opening the door.

"Kara!" yelled Helo as he ran to the woman who was laying on the floor screaming at Riley to let her go. She was on the floor with her head facing the stunned Roslin, and the Vice President, while Dr. Burke was telling everyone to listen… including the Colonial guards who were unsure of what to do.

"Captain! Captain! Captain Thrace!" yelled Riley as he straddled the struggling figure who was face down and screaming for them to help Apollo. He had her hand behind her back, while yelling over her screaming for her to calm down, "Captain Thrace calm down!"

"Captain Thrace!" barked the President as she came to her senses and rushed forward, "you are an officer of the Colonial Fleet and I expect you to behave as such, am I understood!"

"Please… please…" whimpered Kara as she closed her eyes and sobbed at the screams coming from Apollo on the other side of the transparent door, "help him.. he's in pain. And.. and it's Lee... Madam President, it's Lee."

"It's not Major Adama," said Riley gently while he was slowly getting up after she had stopped struggling following the Presidents rebuke. He let go of her arms, and then stood up, and over her while Helo helped Starbuck to her feet. Riley then looked into her tear filled eyes and spoke, "I have fought against these things before, Captain. They are evil.. Major Adama may look and act like the person you knew.. but he's not that man anymore. His body has been taken over by a demon, a demon that'll play on your friendship to release him. He will kill you, kill a lot of people… and turn a few as well. And we'll eventually have to kill him.. and those he turns. Is that what you want?"

"I…" said Kara who snapped her head to the transparent door, as did the other Colonials while Riley looked knowingly at Dr. Burke, before looking at Apollo. The same Apollo who had been screaming in pain for the past few seconds, was now laughing maniacally as he got up to his feet.

"You are a fool, Kara," hissed Apollo as Starbuck's eyes were wide open in anguish, "you would risk everyone just to frack me, and…"

"Shut your mouth," said Roslin.

"Madam President," chuckled Apollo before sarcastically asking, "how is dear old dad? I take that he's a bit… I can smell ambrosia on your clothes. So either you drank with him, or you fracked him while drinking."

"Lee!" barked Roslin whose faced was flushed in embarrassment and anger.

"No," cooed Apollo staring at Roslin while he sniffed, "I don't smell the frack, so you just stayed in the room while he drank. Pathetic little human."

"Lee, please," said Helo.

"Shhh…" hissed Apollo looking at Helo, "I'll get to you, let me have my fun."

"Stop this, Lee," repeated the President.

"My dad gets to call me Lee," said Apollo tilting his head while looking at Roslin, "I will escape, Laura… and when I do? I'll frack you before I drink your blood. And Kara, you too… maybe I'll have you both together, and…"

"We're done," said Riley as he nodded at the Colonial guards.

"I will kill Sharon and your daughter, Helo!" screamed Apollo at Helo as he watched one of the Colonial guards approach a panel. He then turned to Dr. Burke, and smiled.

"My Winnie," he grinned while she frowned, "don't worry, I'll make you last the longest before I drink you. and then I'll turn you.. and you, Roslin, Kara, and…"

"We'll find a way to return your soul to you," said Riley as Apollo snapped his head towards him, the look on the Colonial Officer's face was one of outrage, "and when we decide how and when to do it? We'll come back. If you think you're going to escape, we'll be bringing heavy back-up… like I said. I've killed your kind before.. so have my friends."

"I will kill you all!" yelled Apollo as Riley nodded his head at the guards. They pressed a few buttons on the panel, and watched as the door started to become opaque until all they could see was a faint shadow on the other side. Apollo was slamming his fists on the door and screaming while Riley told the guards not to let anyone get in unless they were arriving with the President.

"Stun anyone who comes down here without me," she said. The guards nodded their heads while the stunned Helo, held onto the equally stunned Starbuck. The group then headed out, with Helo asking if what Riley said was true, that there was a way to restore a soul.

"We'll know soon enough," said Riley, "a few friends will be speaking with a good mutual friend, and if she thinks it could be done.. then we'll give it a try."

"And if it doesn't work?" whispered Starbuck.

"We'll have to see what other options there are," replied Riley as they walked towards the ring transporters.
