Inside BQ's apartment.
"hmm." BQ, wearing a purple and white jacket over a black tank top, black leggings and a black and white boots, hummed as she practiced playing her bass on the floor in front of her TV to decent success. "Maybe playing this would be a little easier if I had fingers."
As BQ pondered about this predicament, her somehow invisible nose suddenly picked up a familiar smell. A familiar smell that made the Bear Queen sigh in frustration. She got off the floor and headed towards the door before opening it to reveal MK and Mei fighting next to her door bell with Sandy, Tang and Pigsy barely hiding in a bush as they all couldn't fit together and had to fight for space. It seemed Pigsy was more interested than the others in learning more about her. BQ had to hold back her laughter at their antics.
"Spit in this cup!" Exclaimed Mei in a serious tone as she shoved a cup into BQ's face, causing the latter to pause before shrugging and spitting in the cup.
Now with a cup of spit in hand, Mei dashed towards the bush the others were hiding in and pulling out a machine from inside and putting the spit in said machine.
"Now let's find out the truth, MK looking lady!" Exclaimed Mei glaring at BQ as the machine did what BQ assumed to be a DNA test of some kind. A few seconds later and the machine let out a green light and a ding that made Mei freeze in shock.
BQ snorted at Mei's comical response. "That's so adorable." She said with chuckle before turning to MK. "Hi, MK."
"Hiiii! Big sis?...BQ? B-sis? S-" said MK with a nervous smile before BQ placed a hand on his face.
"Just call me BQ." Replied BQ rolling her eyes with a smile as she took her hand off of MK's face.
"Right." Replied MK with a nervous chuckle. "So, BQ, as your brother I thought we should, y'know, hang out...and stuff."
BQ went silent. She never really thought about the consequences of telling MK the truth. Especially when they are MK nagging her for sibling bonding. As BQ thought about the possible fun of passing the time by hanging out with MK before her eyes suddenly began glowing purple as she felt a pang of pain in her chest.
"No." BQ replied sternly as she locked the door to her apartment and started to leave. "I have things to do."
Her body felt highly malnourished and close to becoming stone. She couldn't believe she put herself in this situation. Her chi reserves hadn't been properly replenished since Mei had hit her with a laser beam. She had been relying on cursed sweets to get her through the time until this moment, but it seemed that they only satiated her hunger without supporting her body. She was nowhere near a healthy amount of chi.
She could've asked MK or his friends for chi, but that would mean she'd have to explain why she needs chi and that meant she'd have to face something she truly hated. Pity.
"Wait! We can come with you!" Exclaimed MK cheerfully as he approached BQ with Mei right behind him. The rest of the group followed from a distance with Pigsy.
"MK, i-" BQ couldn't finish her sentence before MK clung onto her leg like a child.
"Pleaaaase?" He asked making puppy eyes at BQ.
BQ saw this and sighed before gesturing for MK to follow her. She didn't have time to argue. She was DYING. And so, ignoring Mei and MK behind her, BQ began sniffing for any good sources of chi around and quickly found two next to each other nearby. Without hesitation she started walking in the direction of the chi.
"So...you a monkey king fan?" Asked MK breaking the silence as he walked next to BQ, narrowing his eyes at her.
"Nah, I'm more of a Six Eared Macaque type gal." She said as she continued walking.
"What?! But he's evil!" Exclaimed MK in shock. "He tricked me and tried to kill monkey king!"
"I know, he's so bad and misunderstood. I even have self drawn posters in my room." Said BQ with a smile as she shed a tear of happiness. "And there's his silky smooth voice that sounds as if it had been weaved by gods."
MK and Mei both glared at BQ as they took in the fact that she was a big fan of Macaque, but the Bear Queen ignored it.
"Do you have any monkey powers like MK?" Asked Mei curiously.
"BQ: Bear Queen." Deadpanned BQ calmly, wanting to focus on her hunt instead.
MK and Mei went silent. She has bear powers? They thought.
"How is a bear and a monkey siblings?" Asked Mei with a hand on her chin.
"Don't ask." Replied BQ as she felt a pang of sharp pain in her chest as she noticed her feet slowly turning to stone. Sweat began to fall down her face as she breathing started to become difficult. Luckily, chi was right in front of her as Jin and Yin stood in front of her. "Found ya."
Despite their idiotic nature, the brothers had a pretty decent quantity of chi for BQ to gulp down. The Bear Queen dashed with all her power towards the two demons and grabbed them by their necks.
"BQ!" Exclaimed Jin and Yin in unison, both panicking at the same time.
"Just thought I'd come by for a snack." Replied BQ before opening her mouth, letting colorful chi start to leave Jin and Yin's bodies in large strands and head towards BQ's mouth.
But just as BQ began to taste the chi, Jin and Yin disappeared from her hands. BQ looked all around for the two, knowing they couldn't have escaped on their own, only to see them with MK and Mei.
"What are you doing?!" Asked MK angrily. "Why are you attacking them out of nowhere?"
BQ glared at MK and Mei. "It's none of your business." She remarked with a deep frown.
"She's trying to steal our energy!" Exclaimed Jin in fear.
"Get us away from her!" Added Yin in fear as he clung onto MK.
"Oh, c'mon. You're not even using it for anything." Replied BQ rolling her eyes in exasperation.
"Told you she's bad!" Said Mei angrily as she glared at BQ. "Why are you stealing their energy, huh?"
BQ frowned as she saw the look on MK's face. He was REALLY hoping for her to have proper justification for her actions. He was really believing in her. But for BQ, being pitied by anyone was worse than destroying his hope in her.
"Because I'm evil. It gives me more power and I like it." Said BQ with a sinister grin as she hid the immense pain the petrification was sending throughout her whole body. "Now give me the idiots and no one gets hurt."
But BQ underestimated her little brother's determination. "Well,...maybe eating energy from demons is what's making you evil!"
BQ flinched. She was praying MK wasn't about to do what she thought he was about to do.
"Well, as your brother, it's my duty to help you be good!" Exclaimed MK with a determined expression before turning to Mei and his friends who were watching from afar. "Guys, we need to keep all demons away from BQ."
The whole group seemed to agree to this plan and BQ was horrified. "Those morons are gonna kill me." She muttered under her breath in horror.
BQ panicked and tried to catch Jin and Yin before MK and Mei took them away from her quickly. BQ growled at the two. "I can't move fast without wasting chi. I have to find someone else."
BQ immediately sniffed the air for another source of chi nearby and thankfully found one. It wasn't the greatest source, but she was desperate.
She ran towards the source of chi before finding Sandy, Pigsy and Tang hauling off a demon away from her reach.
BQ clutched her chest in pain as her body turned more and more into stone. If her organs were to turn to stone at this moment, she'd be doomed and MK would have to live with the fact that he killed her for the rest of his life. There was too much at stake for her to lose this fight.
She looked all around her for an answer and her eyes fell on Sandy. Quickly, a way out formed inside BQ's head.
BQ grinned as she turned to a confident looking MK. "I have to say. Your plan to turn me good is pretty smart. You're very clever. But you forgot one thing." She said hoping Sandy would hear the next part. "You can't take my attacks, remember? None of you can. And I can hold that staff. So if I hit you hard enough, you'll die just like that."
MK's panicking expression sold the bluff for BQ and the moment she finished her words, she put the last bit of energy, the last bit of her life into a full power dash towards MK at speeds she'd usually never approach as if intending to kill him while in reality, her organs were quickly turning into stone.
Luckily, just as she predicted, the moment she was an inch away from MK, Sandy stepped in to sacrifice himself for her brother.
But BQ's attack never came. BQ landed in front of Sandy and opened her mouth and began eating up the ex warrior's chi. Sandy's chi was great enough to bring her back to a healthy level, undoing all the petrification her body underwent.
The relief that BQ felt after all that pain was unimaginable, but she couldn't relax yet.
"Let me tell you a fun fact, MK." Said BQ with a grin as she threw Sandy away towards Pigsy and Tang knocking them all out before she picked MK up by the neck. "I don't just eat chi from demons, I eat it from everybody. So get your head out of the gutter. I'm evil because that who I am, end of story."
"But-"
BQ didn't let MK continue before she punched him hard enough to send him crashing into a building.
"Little bro, this is a warning. I'm only sparing you because you're my brother. But if you try to stop me again," Said BQ menacingly as she looked down on MK who looked devastated at the look his sister gave him. "I'll make you regret it. So forget we ever met."
Just as BQ was about to leave, Mei leaped into the scene with her sword. She tried to slash BQ through the shoulder, but the sword simply didn't pass through. It couldn't even cut her clothes and stopped at her shoulder.
BQ's only response was to wait for gravity to do its own thing, letting Mei fall to the ground harmlessly before walking away calmly.
"Hey! You're just gonna leave, again?!" Exclaimed Mei angrily prompting BQ to sigh without turning around.
"You can't hurt me, I can hurt you. I think that sums up how that fight will go." Replied BQ rolling her eyes before she left uninterrupted by anyone.
But once again, BQ had underestimated MK's determination. As in his eyes there's wasn't a hint hopelessness. Because he saw good in BQ.
He just had to bring it out somehow, someday.

So, MK nearly killed his own sister. That's gonna cause a lot of guilt later lol. Also, BQ hates pity because of all the pity she got in her old life.
