A/N: Thank you to everyone who takes the time to give my story a read, this is my first Labyrinth fanfiction, and I was nervous as all get out about posting it. There isn't going to a set schedule for me to upload the chapters as I have work and real-life issues to deal with.
Please leave a review if you have time, I would love the feedback. And without further ado…
I do not own anything except any OC characters that I choose to add into the story. Thank you.

X.
As soon as the 3 of them appeared in the foyer of the Castle Beyond the Goblin City, Jareth had to cringe at the commotion going on. There were voices yelling, goblins cheering and jumping about the room. "Kingy's back!" "Hooray for Kingy!" "Prince rescued Kingy!"
Jareth winced at the noise level, because being stuck in a small, quiet room for a week and then being thrust back into the din of his castle, it was a shock to his system. Jareth closed his eyes, trying to focus on the weight of Sarah in his arms to ground himself, until he felt a pair of delicate hands on his shoulders, steering him away from the madness of the foyer. His eyes flew open as he sensed the magic from the person behind him.
"You had us worried there for a while, brother-mine. We are lucky that Cian can sense your presence the closer he is in proximity to you. Come, mother is waiting. Leave Cian to sort out everything here." A soft feminine voice replied in his ear as the delicate hands ushered Jareth towards a pair of doors off to the left of the foyer.
As the doors opened of their own accord, there was an audible hasp from the inside of the room. A woman, whose physical characteristics were similar to Jareth's, except for her eyes that were a molten brown flicked with green, glided up to Jareth, her eyes glassy with tears. "We were so worried! When Lorcan sent a message that you were missing, we feared the worst!" His mother exclaimed, and just as she was about to hug him, she noticed the woman in Jareth's arms. "My, my…and who might this be?" She asked, raising one of her eyebrows.
Jareth sighed and was about to respond when the owner of the soft feminine voice walked up from behind him and said, "I think that answer can wait, mother. Jareth needs rest and judging by the state of him and his lady friend, they could use a visit from the healer as well." The woman had similar features of the mother, bright blue eyes like Cian, but instead of golden blonde hair, the woman's was a fiery red.
As Jareth was about to speak again, the doors opened and a man slipped in, shutting the doors behind him. He then turned and walked over to the group. He was of similar height and build to Jareth, but his physical traits were vastly different. The man had raven black hair that was thick and fell to about his mid-back; it was loose and flowy. His skin was a sun-kissed golden brown that most women would slave in the sun for hours to achieve that shade. And to top it off, the man's eyes were a startling violet hue which almost seemed to glow with the flickering light of the sconces. The man appraised Jareth up and down for a moment, his eye widening at the woman in Jareth's arms, before turning to Jareth's mother. "Your majesty, His highness Prince Cian informed me of the situation. Might we move to Jareth's chambers and you can remove his shackles?" He replied, sparing a glance back at Jareth.
Jareth's mother sighed, "Lorcan, you do not have to be so formal in present company. It is only us. Call me Eibhilín (Ay-leen)." She said, pausing. Eibhilín looked at her daughter, the red-headed woman, "And I supposed you are right, Avalina. The story can wait. Even though I am not content with the decision." She sighed again and stepped forward to place her gloved hands on Jareth's and the woman's shoulders. Almost instantly they were all outside Jareth's chambers, Lorcan and Avalina having teleported on their own.
The door to Jareth's chambers opened as soon as he stepped near and the group followed behind him. The room resembled a medium-sized sitting room. It had deep wine-colored rugs, curtains and furniture with black accents adorning the layout. The fireplace had a warm fire that seemed to be freshly lit. Jareth made his way to a wall near the right side of the room and door that appeared out of nowhere. He shifted Sarah in his arms so that he could place a hand on the door.
The door swung open to reveal his bedchamber. It was almost as big as his sitting room but had a considerable amount of furniture inside. The king size four poster canopy bed took up most of the space with it's black wood and had deep wine satin curtains that were pulled back to the edges of the bedposts. There was another door to the left and curtains to the right that took up most of the wall. An armoire in the same dark wood as the bed stood to one wall, next to a vanity that held a mirror and a multitude of containers and other odds and ends.
Jareth walked over to the right side of the bed and placed Sarah gently. He then pulled the top sheet up and over to keep her from getting chilly. Jareth reached up and stroked his hand down the side of Sarah's cheek, brushing some of her hair behind her ear. He then turned and walked back into the sitting room, leaving the door to his bedchamber open, just in case Sarah awoke. He was thankful his mother, sister, and best friend didn't follow him into his bedroom. Eibhilín gestured for Jareth to sit in one of the armchairs near the fire.
As soon as he sat, Jareth could feel the exhaustion trying to set in, but he pushed it down and looked up at his mother. "Cian said you know how to remove the manacles. He said the magic was more powerful that he could remove." He said, his voice tired.
Eibhilín nodded and took Jareth's hands in her own gloved hands. She examined the manacles for a few moments, then sighed. "Whoever made these knew exactly who and what they were for. It is old magic, but not older than I. Be still, my son. This is dangerous if I do not remove these correctly." She stated, pausing to look up at Lorcan and Avalina, who were watching intently. "Lorcan, fetch the healer. Avalina, go join your brother and see to the order of the castle. As soon as I am finished here, I will join you." She said, as she pulled off her gloves.
Lorcan nodded and bowed, the disappeared, leaving wisps of smoke behind that dissipated. Avalina walked over, placed a gentle kiss on Jareth's cheek and gave him a soft smile, "Glad to have you back, brother-mine." She said, and then she too disappeared, leaving a puff of crimson glitter behind.
Eibhilín closed her eyes, took Jareth's hands in her own, and began to murmur the spells needed to release the shackles. Jareth sat as still as a statue as he watched his mother work. After a few minutes, the manacles from both Jareth's wrists and ankles opened and clattered to the floor. As soon as they were away from Jareth's skin, they instantly melted as though they were heated in a kiln and dissolved into nothingness. Eibhilínsat in the chair across from Jareth after she released his hands and placed her gloves back on, "It is done. The bindings are gone. The healer will be able to tell you the extent of the damages caused by that particular spell. I will go join your siblings. Rest, my son. I am relieved you are safe." She said quietly, standing slowly. Eibhilín leaned in and placed a kiss on Jareth's forehead and disappeared herself, in a swirl of silver glitter.
