Midna Potter The Twilight Princess

Beginning AN: here it is the sixth chapter and with this the Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess arc is halfway done and the quest to gather the shards of the Mirror of Twilight is about to begin. sorry if it's a little short. now on with the story.

Chapter 6: Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess part 5

Link and Midna made their way through the Lakebed Temple which required a lot of backtracking, and finding the clawshot. Then after collecting the last fused shadow they ended up back at the spirit spring.

Unfortunately they met Zant there who tried to convince Midna to join him. She refused and Link tried to help her, but that led to two problems. One...Link was trapped in wolf form. And two...Zant used the light spirit to blast Midna with light leaving her on the verge of death. Before were sent away.

Wolf Link tried to check on her, but she was. very bad off, causing wolf Link to release a mournful howl that was heard around the world, resonating very much with a young girl named Hermione living with her sick grandparents, who had the feeling the howl was connected to someone important to her, but not how.

Link then carried Midna all the way to the castle and to Princess Zelda, who temporarily fused with her healing her just in time.

"I feel strange." Midna said looking at her hands. "Like when she saved me it felt as if I unlocked a dormant ability."

With that Midna changed her appearance, looking like a young human child and not the Twili adult she was, though that was because she was still imp sized.

They then headed deep into Faron woods where they found a Skull kid that led them on a chase that ended with the Master Sword freeing Link from the curse and Midna teaching him how to control the change. They then talked to the Resistance introducing them to Midna who could now be seen before heading to Lake Hylia, and being shot out of a cannon to the Gerudo Desert where they made their way to the Arbiter's grounds, after getting through the Bulbin camp in front of the entrance by using a wild boar to smash through them closed gates of the building on fire they were trapped in by King Bulbin after defeating him. and they enter the Arbiter's grounds tower.

Meanwhile...

Dumbledore and his staff watched things unfold and had a storm of emotions occur in the room.

when they saw Midna and Link conquer the Lakebed Temple they felt a sense of triumph.

When they saw Zant ambush Midna and Link Sirius and Severus were furious but didn't move since they knew they couldn't interefere and hoped Link coulf find help in time.

when they saw Link return to Hyrule Castle with Midna and Zelda healing her through temporarily fusing with her. but Sirius was the one to recover first when Midna awakening her metamorphmagus ability.

Sirius says "If I remember correctly Midna's grandmother on her birth father's side of the family was Dorea Potter Nee' Black so I knew all along Midna had the requirements to awaken the metamorph trait she just needed a push in the right direction."

everyone else nods in agreement.

when they saw Midna and Link reach the Master Sword with Link being returned to his Hylian form and raising the Master Sword high over his head in a "I have the power." pose Severus and Dumbledore realize what just happened with Dumbledore saying "this scene reminds me of the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table."

Din says "that's because like Caliburn the Master Sword waits for a hero to arrive at a time when the world needed one."

Nayru says "they even share the trait of an evil person never being allowed to touch it much less Wield it."

when they saw Midna and Link reach the Arbiter's grounds, defeat King Bulbin and enter the tower they were happy that Link and Midna evened the score with King Bulbin.

Farore says " and now the second half of the quest to save Hyrule is about to begin."

Severus asks "what do you mean by that?"

Din says "it's simple once Midna and Link clear this dungeon you'll be given a view of the Mirror of Twilight."

and so they continue watching events unfold.

Ending AN: the Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess arc is almost half done.

Next time: Midna and Link clear the Arbiter's grounds and make their way to the first dungeon with a Mirror of Twilight shard.
