Alone. That was the only word that filled Pooh's head in the darkness. His limbs felt like rocks were tied to them. His heart was unable to give a beat. He tried to look down, but Pooh couldn't see his own feet. Pooh tried to call out, but his mouth couldn't move on command.

He heard several screams around him. He couldn't make out what they were, but it sounded like fear and anger. Pooh tried to concentrate on hearing the voices. It was no use. The sounds had no meaning to them. What's going on?

Pooh tried to think. His mind was mistier than the woods during the spring. Think. Think…. Then, he remembered what happened. Honey Maple turning to stone. Her eyes looked at him pleadingly. The stone dragons. Nightplague's maniacal laugh. It's my fault…Everything that happened tonight….It was all…my…fault….

Pooh felt himself go deeper and deeper into the darkness. It felt like drowning. But it wasn't an ocean. It was thicker and not as blue. If it was cold, he couldn't feel it. His body was numb. He could now imagine all the disappointed looks from everyone he knew. Rabbit. Tigger. Lumpy. Kanga. Roo. Piglet. Honey Maple. Even Christopher Robin would draw a thin line with his mouth.

"Pooh…" Christopher Robin spoke in a sad tone. "What have you done?"

Perhaps…Pooh thought. It's just better this way. No one could get hurt anymore…

Pooh could only allow himself to fade. Suddenly, he felt something pressed against his back. Something warm. He soon felt his arms being able to move. A bright light hit his face. He stared up in shock. Looming over him was an enormous bear of silver fur and a long tail.

It smiled at him. "Hello Pooh Bear."
