AN:I've shortened the brotherhood cards names to just fire fist so that i wouldn't need to write them over and over again. So this is my first attempt at writing a duel. I'll probably continue this format until I find a better one. If anyone has any tips on writing duels I'm all ears. That's all.
Edit: Made another edit as I had incorrectly made fishborg planter a tuner, the duel is okay now.
Her disk was a shade of red and the design was similar to the few duel disks I had seen. Mine on the other hand was a dark shade of blue and was connected to the duel zone at the terminal which had now shifted into something resembling a wrist watch.
"I'll take the first turn if you don't mind since I'm the challenger and all" I say.
"Sure it doesn't matter anyway" she says.
"Well then I guess I'll go," I said.
Turn 1

I take a look at my cards once more for good measure.
"I set a monster and end my turn" I say, placing a card face down.
"That's a pretty slow start, I expected better. Oh well Draw!" she says as cinders scatter as she draws.
Turn 2
"I summon Fire fist-bear Lvl4 (1600/1200)" she says, placing her card.
The card shimmered as a man with strange garments and a bear flame appeared.
"Fire fist cards I've heard of that archetype" I say.
"Well of course you have but let's quit the chatter attack fire fist-bear" she ordered.
The man went forward obeying the order as he sent flames towards my facedown card which flipped over to reveal nimble sunfish lvl2 (1000/100). The flames from Fire fist bear destroyed the fish leading to my card being destroyed.
"How about that?" she said.
"Good move but my sunfish has an effect" I said.
"Sure, go on," she replied.
"When sunfish is destroyed by battle I get to send a fish type monster from my deck to the graveyard" I say as I flip through my deck and send Fishborg planter Lvl2 (0/0) to the graveyard.
"Then I can summon another sunfish from my deck so I'll do just that" I add as the fish that was destroyed reappears.
"That's just another one of them right. I can deal with that easily. I set one card and end my turn" she says.
"Then it's my turn, draw!" I say as I grasp my card as a veil of water appears around my card making a *splash*.
Turn 3
"From my graveyard I activate Fishborg planters effect. I first have to send a card from my deck to the graveyard" I draw a card revealing General Gantala of the ice barrier.
"Since it was a water type monster I can now special summon Fishborg planter" I add as I take Fishborg planter Lvl2 (0/0) from my graveyard and summon it.
"I now summon Royal Swamp Eel lvl-4 (1700/1200)"
"So what, now you just have three weak monsters you might be able to get rid of my bear but I'll easily bounce back next turn" the overconfident individual spoke.
"I'm not done yet, my Royal Swamp Eel is a tuner and you know what that means" I say.
"Synchro summoning so that's what you were after" she replies.
"I now tune my level 4 Royal Swamp Eel with my level 2 Fishborg planter" the Royal Swamp Eel dissipates into visual waves that surround Fishborg planter transforming it.
"Synchro Summon Appear lvl 6 White Aura Dolphin!" I say as energy surges around me which infuses itself to my Dolphin.
White Aura Dolphin(2400/1000)
A white dolphin appears surrounded by waves and cloaked in a harsh white light.
"So that's your ace. I expected something stronger to be honest" she said.
"Sadly this isn't my ace. I'm saving that guy for another time. Anyway I activate its effect which allows me to halve my opponents attack"
Fire fist-bear(800/1200)
"Battle phase White aura dolphin attack fire fist bear" I say as my fish tackles the bear destroying the card.

"And Nimble sunfish directly attacks you... what did you say your name was again?" I say.
"Natsume," she says.
"I'm Raizen," I say.
"Anyway... Nimble sunfish directly attacks Natsume" I say as the dolphin speeds up and tackles her, letting her life points dip even further.
Natsume-1400
"And with that I end my turn" I say.
"You might have sent my life points crashing down but I'm not done yet Draw!" she says making her draw.
Turn 4
"I summon fire fist- dragon(1800/400)" she says as a warrior similar to the one before appears but his flames are in the shape of dragons.
"And I activate my trap card fire formation-tensen which increases my dragon's attack by 700 plus another 300 for all fire fist monsters" she says.
Fire Fist Dragon(2800/400)
"Now fire fist dragon's effect activates since I activated a fire force spell or trap card allowing me to set a fire force trap" she looks through her deck and sets a trap card.
"I also play a spell card designator from the grave which I'll use to banish your Fishborg planter" she says.
"Damn I was planning to use that" I say.
"Well too bad and I'm not done yet. Next I'll activate my two fire formation-tensu their effect won't be necessary since I'll be using my dragon's effect to send them to the grave and revive my bear" she said, discarding the cards to the graveyard and placing bear in attack position.
Fire Fist Bear(1900/1200)
"I'll now activate fire force tenki and add a fire fist elephant to my hand"-she added the card to her hand-"and now I activate my bear's effect sending tenki to the grave I destroy your white aura dolphin" she said.
Fire fist dragon sent it's flames towards the dolphin incinerating and shattering it.
"Guess that monster of yours wasn't that great-""White aura dolphin's effect activates" she said before I interrupted her.
"Does it have another effect?" she questioned in disbelief.
"Yeah by banishing one water monster in my graveyard I can special summon it" I say as I remove Royal Swamp Eel out of play and summon White Aura Dolphin in attack position.
White Aura Dolphin(2400/1000)
"And you have another water monster in your graveyard, guess I just have to attack, fire fist bear attack nimble sunfish," she says as my nimble sunfish is turned to ash.

"Nimble sunfish's effect activates so I discard another fishborg I don't have any more nimble sunfish to summon" I say as I discard fishborg planter to the graveyard from the deck.
"My fire fist dragon attacks your white aura dolphin" she says as my dolphin is destroyed once more.
"I activate White Aura dolphins effect" I say as I special summon it back to the field after banishing nimble sunfish from the graveyard.
"I-I end my turn" she says.
"You played well but there's no way I'm going to lose now, Draw!" I say as I snatch the card from my deck.

"Fishborg planters effect activates" I say discarding Abyss sphere.
"Since it wasn't a water monster fishborg planter's effect doesn't activate" I say as I take my card.
"I normal summon Deep sea diva whose effect I'll use to special summon atlantean heavy infantry" I say.

"Atlantean heavy infantry lets me normal summon a level 4 or lower sea serpent so I summon another atlantean heavy infantry" I say.

"My Deep sea diva is a tuner so I tune my deep sea diva with the two Atlantean heavy infantry to synchro summon another White Aura Dolphin" I say as a similar looking Dolphin appears.
"I activate white aura dolphin's effect and halve fire fist bear's attack" I say as fire fist bear's attack decreases.
Fire Fist Bear(950/1200)
"Battle Phase White aura Dolphin attack Fire Fist bear" The dolphin swims towards the warrior and shatters it.

"Damn" she curses.
"Finish it my second white aura dolphin attack fire fist dragon" I ordered.

"Guess I won huh" I said, deactivating my duel disk.
Duel's were serious business here. I was feeling a bit winded after this duel.
Natsume didn't respond for a while. Maybe she was coming to terms with her loss or so I'd like to think.
"Hey Natsume you ok?" I asked, snapping my fingers.
"A win is a win I suppose" she said, light returning to her dull bluish-green eyes.
"Let's hurry, we spent quite some time dueling," she said hurrying to the arena.
I chased after her.
