"The duelist who escaped? What is she talking about Raizen?" Reiji asked seemingly confused as he looked at me for a moment before turning back from them.
"I have no idea, the stuff from back before is all hazy. I haven't told you this before but I have some form of amnesia" I walked over to him and said in a low tone.
"Is that so? Well this confirms that you're not on their side" Reiji said as he raised his glasses.
"You were still suspicious?" I asked
"Yes, but now I'm not," he said to me before turning to face the two fusion duelists.
I would have been more angry if not for the fact that I had acted suspicious on a number of occasions. If I were him I'd be suspicious of me.
"You two seem to recognise my friend here?" Reiji asked his face showing no emotion
"Yeah we do, your friend here is a criminal that tried to infiltrate us. But luckily our professor managed to defeat him and lock him up" she said as she turned her gaze towards me
"And he's going right back" she said as she activated her duel disk.
"Wait, Serena, let me take care of this" Barett said as he activated his own duel disk and turned to me, "What are you waiting for? Have you already decided to surrender before the duel has even begun?"
Serena stepped back while Barett stepped forward.
"Raizen, I'll take care of this," Reiji said as he stepped forward.
"Fine, I'm sure you want to test things out" I said as I stepped back.
It wouldn't be too difficult to defeat this guy but just in case I'd let Reiji handle this.
At that moment the surrounding doors locked and any exits out closed.

After a few minutes Reiji came out with the win leading them to chat about the past.
All things I knew of course.
Though this was good, it seems like I hadn't messed with the fusion dimension leading to other anomalies.
At least not enough to bring me something unexpected.
Finding a lull in the conversation I interjected myself into it.
"Reiji I see that you guys needed to catch up but can you ask her about my situation" I say interrupting
"I don't know much about you except that Academia is in pursuit of you, though I guess you weren't that much of a problem if you were defeated so easily according to what the professor said" she said
"That can't be all, I'm sure you have more information than just that" I said grasping at straws
"No that's all I know now excuse me I need to go and find the xyz duelist who defeated one of the elite soldiers of academia" she said as she began to leave
"The person you're looking for is right here" I said as I pointed to myself
Letting her roam around could result in additional casualties since I had no idea what path she might take this time. So to reduce any casualties I would need to take her out as fast as I can.
Reiji seemed to understand my thought process as I could see a slight nod.
"Are you saying-"
"Yes, I am the one who defeated Sora Shiun'in though I don't think you could even call something as one sided as that a real match, I guess academia duelists aren't that powerful" I said taunting her
"You! I'll make you eat those words. Once you're turned into a card you can join your friend here" she said as she tossed over the carded Hokuto which I snatched.
"We'll see about that" I said
We both activated our duel disks.

Seems like I got myself stuck into a situation I'd rather not be in.
I'll need to really concentrate. Serena will not be an easy duelist to beat.
"I'll take the first turn, draw" I said
Turn 1
"I'm going to start by activating the spell card Trade in which allows me to discard a lvl 8 monster I control to draw 2 cards, I discard Evigishki soul ogre" I say as I drew two cards
"Then I set a monster and a card and end my turn"
"I expected you to at least make some interesting moves but sad to say I'm disappointed" she said
"It's only the first turn now I'm not done yet, how about you take your turn"
"I was already planning too, draw!"
Turn 2
"I summon Lunalight Blue Cat"

"Then I activate lunalight purple butterflies effect. By discarding it I increase Lunalight Blue cat's attack by 1000 points"

My card flipped over revealing Gishki Ariel who was pounced on by Lunalight blue cat and subsequently destroyed.
"When Gishki Ariel is flipped I get to add a gishki card to my hand. I choose to add Gishki shadow" I said as I picked it out from the deck then shuffled
"I set a card and end my turn at this point Lunalight blue cat's attack returns to normal"

"I discard Gishki shadow to the grave to add Gishki Aquamirror from my deck" I said as I picked the card then shuffled the deck
"And now I activate the spell card Gishki Aquamirror this card allows me to tribute monsters from my field or hand to ritual summon"
"Ritual summon what's that? I thought you were from the xyz dimension" Serena said in confusion
"I am it's just that I don't restrict myself to one particular method. Now let me show you a ritual summon. I tribute Gishki vision from my hand to the grave and its effect allows it to fulfil the entire level requirement" I said as I discarded it
An altar appeared between us into which Gishi Vision jumped into setting it aflame with purple flames. The altar expelled eight flame pillars then subsided.
"Malformed experiment of the flesh of human and serpent. Lend me your destructive potential to wash away my enemies. Ritual summon! Appear Lvl 8 Evigishki Levianima"
A malformed fused human-serpent appeared onto the field with a sword in hand and red hair dangling by its neck.

"So is this monster the best you can do" Serena said as she looked somewhat disgusted at my monster
"Nope, but let's leave that aside for now. Battle phase! Evigishki Levianima attacks Blue cat"
My monster drew it's sword and went to slice at Blue cat.
"At this moment I activate its effect. I get to draw a card" I said as I grabbed the top card from my deck and reveal it to be Gishki Beast
"Since I drew a gishki monster I get to see a random card in your hand, I choose the leftmost card" I said
She smirks as she flips the card over revealing Polymerization.
"How's that" she said
"As I expected. I assumed you had one in your hand but leaving that aside my attack goes through" I said as Levianima cut down Blue Cat

"I activate Blue cat's effect. When it's destroyed I get to special summon another lunalight monster from my deck. I special summon Lunalight White Rabbit"
"With that I end my turn" I said preparing mentally for what was about to come
"It's my turn, I draw!" she said as she swiftly drew a card

"I activate Lunalight White Rabbit's effect to return your facedown back to your hand" she said as my card returned to my hand
"Then I activate the spell card Polymerization. I send Lunalight white rabbit and Lunalight Blue cat from my hand to perform a fusion summon"
She joined her hands
"The cat prowling in the azure darkness. The lively white rabbit illuminated by moonlight. Swarm in a vortex by the moon's gravity and revive with a new power. Fusion Summon! Come forth! Lunalight Cat Dancer!"
The two monsters rose into the sky as spirals formed around them pulling them together and merging them into one, leading a humanoid cat lady with a sword to appear.

"And I'll be bringing out that monster soon. I discard the Lunalight black sheep in my hand to add another polymerization to my hand from my deck. "
"It's time I activate polymerization to fusion summon again using my Cat Dancer and Purple Butterfly" she said slamming her card onto her duel disk
"Two fusion summons in one turn" Reiji said
"The beautiful beast dancing in the moonlight. Butterfly that wields violet in a vortex by the moon's gravity and revive with a new power. Fusion Summon! Come forth! Elegant beast dancing in the moonlit wilderness. Lunalight Panther Dancer"
The spirals merged together revealing a humanoid panther woman with sharp claws and a tail.

I held myself in place through sheer will as the onslaught of attacks took place.
"Are you done yet? There's still time for you to surrender and beg for mercy. If you do it well enough I might even let a criminal like you escape the fate of being turned into a card" she said with a serious expression
"Just end your turn" I said my face void of any expression
"Fine I end my turn"
"I draw!" I said with a bit of rage bubbling on my face
Turn 5
"I activate the spell card salvage and using its effect I add Gishki vision and Gishki shadow to my hand. Now I discard the two cards I just added to add Gishki Aquamirror and Gishki Zielgigas to my hand"
"Then I activate surface to special summon Gishki vision back to the field"
"Here it comes I activate the effect of Gishki Aquamirror by tributing Gishki vision I ritual summon"
An altar appeared into which Gishki vision disappeared thus lighting up the altar with purple flames. 10 towers of flame rose until eventually subsiding and revealing my monster.
"The oceans house deep horrors. I call upon this terror to aid me in my quest of destruction. Ritual summon! Appear Level 10 Gishki Zielgigas"
A four armed humanoid monster adorned in gold plated armor appeared on the field.
"I activate Gishki Zielgigas's effect by paying 1000 life points I can draw a card and if it's a gishki monster I get to shuffle a card from the field back to the deck, urgh"

I close my eyes and draw the card.
I take a look at it and almost sigh but then stop as I begin to think.
"The card I drew was Mispolymerization so Zielgigas effect doesn't activate but that's fine. Battle phase! Zielgigas attacks Panther Dancer" I said
Serena: 2900→2500 LP
"With your field empty and your hand so low I don't think you're coming back from this. I set two cards and end my turn"
"This isn't over yet, I draw!" she said
Turn 6
"I summon Lunalight White Rabbit whose effect allows me to special summon a lunalight monster from my graveyard. I special summon Panther dancer in defense position"
"Then I activate White Rabbit's effect to return two of your spell cards back to your hand-"
"Wait a minute I activate my face down trap:Fiendish chain negating your rabbit's effect and leaving my face down safe. Got any other tricks in your hand?" I said fairly nonchalantly as the battle was now in my favor
"As a matter of fact, yes" she said as her demeanor became confident
"I activate the only card in my hand, Fusion recovery. This spell card allows me to return a polymerization and a monster I used for a fusion summon from my graveyard" She said as she picked two cards from her grave
"And now I activate polymerization to fuse Panther Warrior with White Rabbit and the Blue cat I added to my hand"
She joined her hands as the three monsters merged together as spirals surrounded them.
"Elegant beast dancing on the moonlit wilderness! Blue cat that prowls through the darkness! Butterfly with violet poison! Swarm in a vortex of the moon's gravity and revive with a new Summon! Come forth! The king of beasts dancing atop the summit of the moonlit wilderness! Lunalight Leo Dancer"

AN:Peter Kim, yeah the doctor seems to have done something to Raizen but it could be a parasite or something else. Raizen might have problems due to this in the future.
