I opened my eyes and took a look around at the surroundings.
It was a frozen wasteland for the most part with nothing of note except for the single person standing before me.
All the memories were coming to me.
"Duel Spirit the doctor has granted you this vessel with the caveat that you'll be working with us" Yuri said
"Is that so, who am I working with?'' I asked
"The Professor leader of the fusion dimension. Though you'll be under the command of me until we return. I am Yuri, what's your name?" he asked
"You can call me Shad, what is my objective?" I asked
"To destroy all those who oppose the fusion dimension-" Yuri's speech was interrupted as he disappeared
"This doctor seems to be a dangerous individual. It seems I'll need to aid the fusion dimension for the time being before I can be free, though since he teleported away that means one of the Yuya counterparts must be nearby" I asked myself as I looked around
Luckily I seem to have inherited most of Raizen's memories so I won't be having any problems navigating this world but a human from an unknown dimension the previous owner of this body was surely an interesting person.
"Raizen!" I heard someone shout out
Turning around I noticed three people making their way to me. I waited in place as they approached.
If his memories are to be trusted these are his three friends from the xyz dimension.
"Raizen Yuzu told us that you were fighting with someone who looked like yuto" Shun said
"Yeah him he suddenly escaped, though what are you and Ruri doing here I thought Shun and I had made it clear for you to avoid the tournament" I said
"We couldn't just leave you guys to the fusion dimension soldiers" Yuto said with Ruri nodding
"Leaving that aside, we should head back now Akaba Reiji has called for us" Shun said as he placed a hand on me
"I won't be going anywhere sadly" I said as I took his hand off me
"What's wrong Raizen?" Ruri asked
"I'm not Raizen that person is gone, you may call me Shad" I said as I stared at them
"Stand back Ruri" Shun said as he pulled her back
"His eyes they're purple also his hair seems to have grown a bit longer" Yuto said
Ruri looked at me as she heard Yuto speak.
"Seems like you guys understand I'm with the fusion dimension now. So how about you three be my first targets Shun, Yuto and Ruri" I said as I pointed at the three of them as I said their names
"Raizen, what are you talking about allying with fusion?" Yuto looked at me confused
"Stop calling me Raizen, I've told you my name is Shad" I said getting annoyed
"Stop Yuto"-Shun said as he placed a hand on Yuto's shoulder-"There seems to be only one way to bring him back and that's by a duel"
Shun activated his duel disk.
Yuto looked towards me and then activated his duel disk as resolve returned to his eyes.
"I'd have liked you to stay out of this-"
"You already know my answer, Shun," Ruri said, cutting him off and activating her duel disk.
"Yeah, let's bring Raizen back" Shun replied as the three of them turned to me
"Finally let's begin, I'll be taking the first turn" I said as I activated my duel disk.

"I'll begin this duel on a high note by activating the spell card:Polymerization, using it's effect I send Shaddoll Beast and Qadshaddol Keios to the graveyard" I said as I turned over the card and showed it to them then activated it
I could see all three of their expressions darken as my two monsters raised into the air and began to merge.
"I combine the light of life with my shaddoll to bring into existence an inorganic anomaly! Fusion Summon! Come Forth El Shaddoll Construct!" I say as I join my hands
The area before me darkened with a black fog as multiple purple strings exit it, finally pushing the fog away and revealing a humanoid female puppet.

"How's that? Are you afraid yet?" I said as I cracked my knuckles then smirked
They said nothing but I could see the fear on their face
"No response, guess I'll continue. Since I sent Shaddoll beast for a fusion to the grave I get to draw a card" I said as I drew
"El Shaddoll Construct's effect activates. When it's special summoned I get to send a shaddoll card from my deck to the graveyard, I send shaddoll fusion" I said as I sent the card to the graveyard
"I set a monster and set a 's all for now I end my turn" I said
"It's my turn I'll bring you back to your senses Raizen, Draw!"
Turn 2 -Yuto
"I summon The Phantom Knights of cloven helm" he said
A knight's helmet with two hands materialized along with blue flames.

A sentient suit of armor materialized and began to burn with blue flames.

"Cloaked in shadows and relentless in its objective, I call upon the most dangerous of dragons! XYZ Summon! Appear Rank-4, Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon"
Lightning arcs across the field as a black-purple dragon materializes and roars.

Shun and Ruri began to smile.
Dark Rebellion rushed at El Shaddoll construct with the fang on it's jaw sparking with electricity.
"With this it's over-"
"Over? No this is just the beginning. I activate the effect of my El Shaddoll Construct. At the start of the damage step, if this card battles an opponent's special summoned monster, I can destroy it, Vitality Slicer!"
El Shaddoll construct sent out it's purple threads which turned into sharp blades and sliced through Dark Rebellion like a knife through butter destroying it.
"How's that for a surprise? No matter how high you raise your attack it isn't going to matter my construct will just destroy it. Though you're free to try" I said taunting yuto
"I end my 's up to you Shun" he said
" I know here I come, Shad. I draw" Shun said as he quickly pulled his card

A mechanized bird took to the field

Lightning crackled as the dark machine bird shroud in darkness appeared onto the field.

He paused for a minute then raised his hand
"I overlay using my Rise Falcon as Xyz material to bring forth an Xyz monster that is a rank higher"

"Ferocious falcon. Break through this fierce battle and spread your wings! Destroy our gathering foes! Rank up XYZ change! Appear! Rank 5! Raid Raptors-Blaze Falcon"

Blaze Falcon shot a huge flame at Construct destroying it.

"When El Shaddoll Construct is sent to the grave I can add a shaddoll spell or trap to my hand. I choose to add Shaddoll fusion to my hand" I said as I showed the card to them
"Battle Phase! Thanks to Blaze Falcon's effect it can attack you directly, Electrostatic volt!" Shun said
Blaze Falcon soared high into the sky and once it reached a high altitude it began descending towards me as its body blazed in flames. Eventually hitting me.

"The card you just destroyed was Reshaddol Wendi and when it's destroyed I get to special summon a shaddoll face down from my deck" I said as I set a monster
"You're done for, Ruri I'm counting on you. I end my turn" Shun said
"Everyone's counting on me. I'll make this turn count, draw!"Ruri said

"I activate the spell card:One for one and send my Lyrilusc-Turquoise Warbler from my hand to the grave to special summon Lyrilusc-Turquoise Warbler from the deck"

A female humanoid bird appeared in the sky sending out a light breeze with its wings.

Blaze Falcon shot a flame at my face down which eventually hit me knocking me to the ground.

I stood up and dusted my clothes.
"The card you just destroyed was Nepshaddol Genius and when it's sent to the grave it allows me to negate a monster's effect till the end of this turn. I choose your Assembled Nightingale as its target" I said
A miasma surrounded Assembled nightingale holding it in place.

I smiled as I looked at the approaching Flaming falcon.
"That was some pretty good dueling but now it's going to have to come to an end.I activate my trap card: Rainbow life when I take damage I instead gain life points"
Blazing Falcon's attack went past me and rainbow light surrounded me.

Shun and Yuto were also irked as they turned to stare at me.
