Our surroundings changed as the field spell 'Crossover' activated.
Cyber waveforms spread along the area.

"I normal summon Worm Xex" my opponent said

He took out the card from his deck and sent it to the graveyard.
"Now I activate Worm Yagan's effect, if the only monster I control is Worm Xex I can special summon it face down though it is banished when it leaves the field. I end my turn"
"If that's all then I'll be taking my turn now. I draw!" I said
Turn 2
"It's time for the show to begin . I set my pendulum scales using the scale 2 Abyss Actor-Wild Hope and the scale 8 Abyss Actor-Funky Comedian"
The two monsters appear behind me levitating as their scales are displayed.
"This allows me to special summon monsters from level 3 to 7. I pendulum summon. Come now and take center stage, the star of the show Abyss Actor-Big Star. I activate its effect to add 'Abyss Script Opening Ceremony' to my hand"

The surrounding field had now changed and we were all inside of a theatre. Ruri and Zuzu were in the audience while I and the obelisk member were on stage.
"I had heard that you standard duelists treated dueling as some kind of game but seeing it in person just pisses me off. Get on with your turn already" My opponent said
"Guess you just don't understand the appeal of dueltaining, don't fret by the end of this duel you'll be singing praises of my dueling. I'll cut the chit chat and enter battle phase, Big Star attack Worm Xex"

My opponent barely reacted to the damage as he just stared straight at me.
"I'll proceed to set two cards and then end my turn."
"Finally my turn I draw" my opponent said as he grabbed his card

"I flip over my Worm Yagan"

"When Worm Yagan is flipped over its effect activates allowing me to return one face up monster you control back to the hand-"
"That won't be happening due to the effect of my Fantastic Theatre" I said interrupting him
"What does it do?" he asked
"While I control a Pendulum summoned Abyss Actor pendulum monster your monsters effect is changed to destroy a spell or trap I control" I said
"Fine then I'll destroy the card you set in the middle" he said as he pointed to my set card
"I will chain the activation of my trap you targeted-Abyss Actors BackStage. Using its effect I add two Abyss Actors with different names from the ones in my pendulum zone to my extra deck face up. I add Abyss Actor Twinkle Little Star and Comic relief to my extra deck" I said as my trap was destroyed
"So you managed to avoid it. well too bad for you I'm not yet done, I tribute my Worm Yagan to summon Worm Illidan" the obelisk force member said

"I now set two cards which grants my Illidan two counters. Using those two counters I activate its effect to destroy your Big star"
"Since Big Star is a pendulum monster it is place faced up in my extra deck" I said as I ran ahead and grabbed an action spell
"Battle Phase. Worm Illidan attacks you directly-"
"Now wait a second. I activate the action spell-Big Escape which allows me to end the battle phase" I said interrupting him
"Fine this battle won't last long though since I'll be activating the spell card Future fusion. I end my turn" he said
"Guess you're finally beginning to get serious,My turn I draw" I said

"Using my two already set scales I pendulum summon. Come out Big star and Twinkle little Star"

I took the card and activated it

Big Star leaped and struck at Worm Illidan and then took a bow as Illidan was destroyed.

"Now Abyss Script Fire Dragon's lair's effect activates allowing me to banish three cards from your extra deck at random"
Three cards were banished which included Humanoid Worm Drake and two Worm Zero's.
"Now continue the assault Little Star"
With no monsters guarding the Obelisk force member Little star struck him directly

"Guess that's all you had to offer. You've got me down pretty low but you have no choice now but to end your turn" My opponent said
"Not quite my friend, I'm not yet done" I said
"What do you mean?" he asked
"My Little Star has an effect that allows it to attack three times each battle phase. So this duel is as good as over. Little star attack once more "
Little star floated through the air as pink stars surrounded her and they all headed towards my opponent.
"You were close but it's too soon for the duel to be over. I activate my trap card-Negate attack, this negates your attack and ends the battle phase" my opponent said
"Guess that's too bad. I set a card and end my turn" I said
"It's my turn and it's time for me to show you why we're feared, Draw!" my opponent said
Turn 5
"During my standby phase, Future Fusion's effect activates"
He shows Worm Zero to me
"After showing you my fusion monster I can send its materials to the graveyard directly from the deck. So now I send the materials from my deck to the king,queen,xex,illidan,noble,victory,erokin,warlord,prince,rakuyah,tentacles,cartaros,yagan,solid,linx, one more turn and then my monster will arrive"

"Then I'll gladly take my turn, Draw!"

"I activate from my hand the continuous spell-Abyss Script - Abysstainment. Using it's effect I tribute Twinkle little star and Big star to add back my Abyss Script Fire Dragons Lair and Opening ceremony"

My set spell was destroyed.
"You destroyed my Opening Ceremony which when destroyed allows me to draw until I have 5 cards in my hand" I said drawing
"Well you'll need those cards with what's about to come" he said
"Sure show me what you've got, I set three cards and end my turn"
"Get ready to be destroyed,Draw!" he said

"During my standby phase I can special summon the fusion monster I had shown you"
All the worms that had been sent to the grave began to head to a point in the sky as they began to merge into a colossal being.
"Eldritch horror bathed in unholy cosmic light. Merge into an entity capable of bending the fabric of reality to your will. Fusion Summon! Appear, Level 10 Worm Zero!"

"He said to trust him so that's what we're going to do" Ruri said as she looked towards Worm Zero
It was a colossal liquidy entity that seemed to blot out the sky making the surrounding area darker than before.
"I activate Worm Zero's effect to draw a card but thanks to your Abyss Playhouse I instead destroy one of your set cards" he said
"You destroyed my Abyss Script-Rise of the Abyss King whose effect allows me to add a copy of it along with a Comic Relief from my deck"
"Sure, go ahead and do what you want. I activate Worm Zero's second effect I banish a worm and send your Big Star to the grave"
"I now summon Worm Xex. Battle phase! Worm Xex destroys your Little Star"

"And now Worm Zero, finish him, attack Comic Relief"
Worm Zero engulfed Comic Relief in its tendrils before destroying it.
"And with that I wi- Wait how are you still standing?" he asked
"Thanks to Comic Reliefs effect I take no battle damage from attacks involving it" I said
"So you had a gimmick like that, well it doesn't matter I don't believe you have a way to get over my Worm Zero.I end my turn"
"Oh you don't know how wrong you are. Draw!"
Turn 8
"It's time I finish this duel. Using my two set scales I summon once again Big Star and Little star" I said as they graced the field
"You're up to the same tricks again. I don't understand how you still think you can beat me" he said
"Like this. I activate from my hand the spell card Abyss script-Rise of the Abyss king, this allows me to destroy two face up cards on the field"
"Oh no my Worm Zero-"
"Calm down I'm not destroying your Worm Zero I'll be targeting my own scales to be destroyed" I said as I interrupted him and my pendulum monsters were destroyed
"You really are an idiot, you should've destroyed my Worm Zero when you had the chance" he said as he laughed
"The only idiot here is you. Dueling is supposed to be entertaining, you know and that's why I'm going to beat you in a way you never expected. I set the scale 8 Comic Relief and using its effect I give you control of my Little star and take your Worm Zero" I said
Our monsters switched places.
"This is what entertainment's all about, winning in a way your opponent and the audience couldn't have predicted. That's what dueling should be about. And it's time I make you aware of that"
"Battle Phase! Worm Zero attack Little star,Universal Phagocytosis!"
Worm Zero sent out its tendrils and enveloped Little Star, destroying it.

"Gahh!" The obelisk force member yelped in pain as he slammed into a wall
"Crap. I didn't expect that attack to be so powerful. Hey are you okay?" I said as I ran up to the Obelisk member
Ruri and Yuzu also came to check up on him.
"He's unconscious, the attack must have been pretty brutal" Ruri said as she looked him over
Our surroundings which were previously empty were now filled with a large number of bystanders.
I hadn't noticed earlier but they seemed to have gathered when we were dueling.
"We should get out of here, it seems like we're attracting too much attention" I said
"Yikes, you can't just knock out my subordinate and then run away. At least wait for your judgment" A familiar voice said
"Shad so you've finally shown yourself" Ruri said
A ripple appeared before us as skulls filled with shadows surrounded it. The shadows disperses revealing Raizen or at least the person who possessed his body, Shad.
"Indeed I have Ruri, Yuzu" -he turned to me- "...who are you?" Shad asked
"You're kidding right? How could you forget Neo Sawatari one of the greatest duelists and a member of the lancers" I said irritated as I pointed to myself
"I was. Of course I remember you, especially since Raizen beat you so easily it was comical" he said
"That's all in the past. I've improved, be it Raizen or even you Shad I won't be losing to any one of you"
"Well you do have some skill as you managed to defeat my subordinate but don't assume a duel with me will go that smooth. If I'm being honest I don't really care about you, the two behind you are far more important"
Shad tried to walk past me but I blocked his path.
"You aren't getting to them that easily" I said
"I figured you would try to interfere, so let's get this duel started already" he said as he activated his fusion duel disk
"No disagreement on my end" I said as I activated my duel disk.
