Ruri Pov
Finally it was over.
I won.
I couldn't believe it at first, but seeing the demolished factory and my defeated opponent lying unconscious it was obvious.
I defeated Shad.
I knew I should've checked on Yuzu first but I needed to make sure he was back to normal.
As the factory began to collapse rubble flung around obscuring our vision. We were saved from getting hurt too badly thanks to Dystopia shielding us from a majority of the damage.
"Raizen" I shouted out
He didn't wake up. I wanted to call out to him again but stopped myself from doing so. We needed to get to a safe place first.
The damage from my last attack might have been too much.
"Ruri we need to get out of here" Yuzu shouted as she ran towards us
I nodded as Recital Starling picked up Raizen and we rushed out before the situation got any more dire.
As we made it out I looked to the rubble behind us, then to the surrounding area.
"So where are we exactly?" I said looking around
The area around was filled with abandoned houses. Other than the recent collapse of the factory it seemed the entire place was completely silent.
The howling of the wind caught my attention as a breeze blew by scattering dust. Immediately after, the sounds of several motorcycles filled the area.
I could faintly make out an approaching group of adult men in uniform and from what I could see they didn't seem the least bit friendly.
"We need to hide now! Come with me Yuzu" I said
The two of us along with Recital starling, who held onto Raizen began to move searching for a place to hide.
Yuya Pov
"So these friends of yours, where did you last see them?" Crow asked as he munched on a sandwich
He inhaled the sandwich before him in a few seconds then turned to look at us.
Natsume and Isao didn't seem to want to breach this topic, guess it was up to me
Though before I could continue the door swung open as one of crow's friends walked in.
"What's wrong?" Crow said standing up as he made his way to the new arrival
"It's Sector Security. They have been snooping around satellite, and seem to be looking for something. And that's not all, an incident took place at the old factory" he said
Crow took a moment to think. He then turned to us and spoke, "Something's come up, I'll need to head out. You three take care of the house and stay low, we don't sector security on our asses"
He grabbed the key to his duel runner and began to leave.
"Wait!" I said calling out to him
"Hmm, what's wrong Yuya?" he asked with a confused expression
I walked towards him and spoke, "Let us come with you. If something strange is happening then our friends might be involved and even if they aren't we can't just sit back and relax. Let us help" I said with a determined expression
Isao smiled and stood up walking over to me.
"Yuya is right, we're pretty strong duelists. After all we managed to take down sector security before, this time should be no different" he said
Natsume nodded, joining the two of us.
"You could use the extra help, right? So let us tag along" Natsume said
Crow scratched his head.
"Fine, we need to hurry up. Remember I can't guarantee your safety beyond this point. Let's go" he said with a small smile
And so we tagged along with Crow to confront this situation.
After a short ride, we made it to the abandoned factory. The place was swarming with sector security grunts and the whirling of their duel runners.
Since we didn't want to bring attention to ourselves we had to leave our duel runners a slight distance away and walk the final stretch.
We silently made our way into the factory only communicating with gestures.
But it seemed sector security wasn't as careless as we thought.
A chain edged itself into one of Crow's friends duel disk as he was forced into a duel.
"Huh, guess you satellite scum are here for some scraps. Sadly I can't let you go on ahead since we're investigating the factory's collapse…though with the presence of thugs like you I wouldn't be surprised if this was your doing. Apprehend them!" The sector security member shouted
Chains began to extend towards us but we were already on the move causing the chains to lodge into the ground giving us time to make our escape.
"Crow take those kids and go on ahead we'll deal with these guys" Crow's friend said as he synchro summoned a dark monster
"But-" "Go now, we'll handle the situation here"
"Fine, you three let's hurry up" Crow said sprinting ahead
Isao followed quickly after and so did Natsume.
I looked back at the duel between Crow's friends and the sector security, they seemed capable even though it didn't seem like they were going to win. I assume they were just stalling, we needed to get this over as fast as possible.
As I made my way up to Crow and the two lancers I noticed there were four more sector security members still present.
"This is bad, I'd rather we not waste any more time" I said
"Well you're not getting through us" One of the sector security said as they all began to activate their duel disks
"You three go on ahead I'll take care of them" Crow said with a serious look on his face as his duel disk activated
"I didn't know we had a comedian on our hands. I was expecting a duelist, we'll be sure to teach you a lesson for underestimating us!" one of the sector security members shouted out with a serious expression
"Crow, are you sure about this?" I asked, my tone serious
"Hah, yes it may be tough but I won't lose, get going already" he said as he turned towards his opponents
"Right, come on Natsume, Isao" I said, then began to run on ahead
Crow Pov
After Yuya left Natsume followed after him. I waited for Isao to follow them but he stood still with his hands crossed and a bored expression on his face.
"What are you waiting for? Go with them!" I said
He sighed then spoke.
"You see, unlike Natsume and Yuya I don't have as strong a connection with the rest of the lancers . So I'll be tagging along for this duel "
He activated his duel disk
"Fine, suit yourself" I said with a momentary smile
The two of us turned to the sector security members.
"So are you two done stalling, it's time we put an end to this" one of the sector security members said
"Yeah it's about time" I said

"Not a bad synchro summon, so why don't you show me just how strong it is" - Sector security A said
"I'll be glad to give you a taste of Raikiri but first I'll special summon Blackwing- Kris the crack of Dawn"

"And now I'll activate the effect of my Raikiri, since I control two Blackwing monsters I can destroy two cards you control"
I point to his two cards on the field.
"And so I'll be clearing your field"
Lightning concentrated around Raikiri then shot out towards the sector securities cards, shattering them.
Seeing his field empty the sector securities previous bravado vanished as he nervously stared at me.
"Y-You-"
"Sorry but I don't have time to hear you stutter, Kris attack him directly"
Kris readied its claws and slashed at the sector security instantaneously.

"Gahh"-The sector security cried out in pain
"End this Raikiri"
Raikiri's blade began to crackle with electricity, it flew forwards and impaled the sector security.

The sector security dropped to his knees in a mix of fear and anger.
The other three members stood in shock for a few more seconds until I spoke.
"Take your turn quick, unless you're planning to give up"
I smiled as they bought into my taunt with our next opponent taking center stage.
That was fine, I'll let Isao get in a few jabs until things get problematic. Hopefully Yuya and Natsume didn't have any issues getting away.
Yuya Pov
After leaving Crow behind we managed to reach close to the supposed area the incident occurred at.
Sector security members seemed to be scouring the surrounding area, they seemed to be searching for something or someone.
Our surroundings were filled with debris from the collapse that occurred which resulted in quite a few dust clouds.
Using those clouds to cover Natsume and I managed to avoid sector security and we managed to get past the last few Sector Security.
"What do you think they're looking for?" Natsume asked
"I'm not sure but we most likely don't want them to get to it first" I said
"I agree-"
A shout in the distance interrupted her.
"Guess they must have found what they were looking for" Natsume said as she looked towards the direction of the sound
"Let's hope they're not as bad as sector security, let's take a look" I said
We stealthily made our way towards the source of the scream.
And on arrival we noticed an unconscious sector security member and Yuzu!- no wait, that's Ruri.
But on taking a closer look Yuzu was also with her along with…Raizen, she managed to find him.
I could question all this later, for now we needed to get to them.
Natsume had already made her way towards Ruri as she called out to her "Ruri, it's us"
Ruri looked towards us, her expression changed from rage to that of relief as she noticed the two of us approaching us.
"Boy am I glad we managed to find you two. What happened here?" I asked as I looked at our destroyed surroundings
"I had a duel with Shad and this was the result, hopefully he's gone for good" Ruri said as she tried to walk towards us but fell to her knees
"Ruri" Yuzu called out as she helped Ruri stand up
"Haha that duel was very exhausting.." she murmured for a few seconds before falling asleep
"Guess we have two people to worry about now" I said as I attempted to pick up Raizen
"Stop right there, you won't be leaving any time soon" A voice announced as two men stepped forward
They wore a modified version of the sector security uniform that almost resembled armor.
