Arriving at UA on the first day, Arashi hurries over to his classroom, which is conveniently nearby the support lab. Entering the room, Arashi gives it a quick scan and grins mischievously as he spots his new partner in cri-, I mean... business. Making his way over, Arashi taps Mei on the shoulder, "Well, looks like Hatsume Industries is getting it's head start this year." Mei quickly turns around, a grin splitting her face, "Mochi! We're in the same class? The Support business won't know what hit it!"

Arashi chuckles, 'I already have a nickname? Damn, she's going fast, it's like we're best friends already!' Arashi shares a conspiratorial look with Mei, "Hey, you know the invention I made for the entrance exam? When we can access the lab, do you want to help me make a better version of it?" Stars appear in Mei's eyes as she nods rapidly, "Of course! Who wouldn't jump at the opportunity to make a hard-light projector?"

Before their mad scheming can progress, their homeroom teacher, Power Loader, walks in. He takes one look at what his adopted son and his new friend are up to, and he can't help but feel that sense of impending doom looming over him again.

Clearing his throat, the Pro addresses the class, "Greetings, as some of you may know, I am the Pro Hero Power Loader, and as of now I am also your homeroom teacher." He goes on to explain some of the expectations of the Support Course before passing out a basic safety quiz that the students are required to ace before setting foot in the workshop.

Exactly five minutes later, Arashi turns his quiz in with the requisite perfect score. Higari sighs, 'Well, since he's proved he knows the rules, the best I can hope for is that he'll follow them.'

(Support lab, five minutes after Arashi and Mei were given access)

Arashi and Mei cackle excitedly as they tinker with their current project, having managed to already assemble and fully test four of Arashi's hard-light projectors. The current focus of their attention, is a blueprint where Arashi is outlining the schematics for an improved version of his Gungnir cannon. Meanwhile, Power Loader is watching nervously from a corner, waiting for something to explode.

Mei looks over the blueprint, "Genius! And the cooling system we designed is impeccable! I can already see it, we're gonna make the best babies ever!" Everyone else in the workshop cringes, except for Arashi, who is already used to his partner's eccentricities. Looking over Mei's shoulder, Arashi brings his arm around and past her neck to point at an aspect of the blueprint and bring up possible design changes, the two inventors seemingly oblivious to the fact that he has essentially trapped her in a hug.

As Arashi and Mei begin plotting the construction of not only a new Gungnir Cannon, but even more weapons and devices capable of laughing at the laws of physics, Power Loader gets down on his knees and prays. He prays not only for his own safety, but for that of his entire class. He knows without a doubt, anything short of a miracle, and they're all fucked.
