A/N: I'm going to be skipping over most of the fights, since Arashi is the main focus. So feel free to imagine how those went.
"And then the lab exploded.", says Arashi, finishing the tale of his and Mei's first test of the Mjollnir armor.
Shinso stares at him, internally debating his new friend's sanity. Eventually deciding that he's well below the sanity of the average person, Shinso shrugs and decides to just roll with Arashi and Mei's brand of weird. After all, they're the first people in a while to treat him like an actual human instead of a dangerous beast, so the least he can do is extend them the same kindness.
Mei pouts, "How was I supposed to know the suit had sprung a leak? If anything, this one wasn't my fault."
Before the conversation can continue, the PA system comes to life to announce that the one on one fights will be starting soon. The first contestants to face off will be Arashi and Denki Kaminari.
Arriving on the field, Arashi gives his opponent a quick wave.
Mic comes on, "Hello ladies, gentlemen, and non-binary listeners! You join us now for our first round of the one on one elimination tournament to cap off this year's UA Sports Festival here on the First Year Stage! We're starting this event off with an electrifying mirror match! From the Hero course we have Denki Kaminari of Class 1-A and his Quirk Electrification! And his opponent in this round will be Arashi Mochizuki of Class 1-F in UA's wonderful Support Department, along with his Quirk Electromagnetism! I don't know about you listeners, but I'm amped up to see how this lightning storm in the making turns out!"
Denki smirks, "You sure you wanna go through with this? You may have been at the USJ with us, but I don't think you're really made for fighting."
Arashi just raises an eyebrow, "Clearly you don't know what I did there, but whatever. Can we start the fight?"
Midnight gives the go signal and Kaminari lets out a massive burst of electricity, shouting out, "Indiscriminate Shock! 1.2 Million Volts!"
Arashi scoffs at the voltage, those are rookie numbers. As the electricity closes in, Arashi holds up a hand and pulls it to him, converting his opponent's power into his own. When the rampant electricity in the air dies down, Arashi looks his now stupefied opponent in the eyes with an almost feral grin as the stolen power courses through his body.
Holding his hand up in a finger-gun, Arashi points it at Kaminari and lets out a single word, "Bang."
The full might of Kaminari's failed attack courses out of Arashi in a bright blue flash before slamming into it's originator and throwing the Hero student out of the ring.
Midnight cracks her whip, "Kaminari is out of the ring! Mochizuki is the winner!"
Calmly returning to his seat, Arashi spends most of the time waiting for his next match either double checking his gear or talking with Mei, though they do both take the time to watch Shinso's match and congratulate him on a job well done, even if he didn't win.
And of course there's also Mei's match, which was hilarious. Any opportunity to show the Hero Course how foolish they are for underestimating support items has Arashi hooked, though he is a bit disappointed that Mei dropped out of the competition.
As his next fight is coming up, Arashi heads down into the arena, coming face to face with his next opponent, Fumikage Tokoyami.
Present Mic takes to the airways again, "Alright, listeners! Welcome to round two of our tournament here at the First Year Stage of UA's Sports Festival! In our first match of the round, we have the Support Course student who's done nothing but shock us this whole tournament with crazy skills that put the Hero Course to shame, Arashi Mochizuki! And his opponent for this round, the emo boy with a corvid's cranium, the prince of shadow, Fumikage Tokoyami! Will this be like the last fight Mochizuki had? A swift flash of lightning? Or will this thunderstorm be swallowed up by the darkness? Let's find out now with this brewing brawl!"
As the go is given, Dark Shadow rushes out and throws a punch, only to be blocked by a… disembodied arm? The arm appears to be made entirely made of electricity, though upon careful inspection there appears to be a mass of… something hidden within.
Arashi suddenly strikes a pose that gives off a very… menacing vibe, as the arm dissipates, "Ha ha ha!", the laugh is incredibly over dramatic, but it still worries Tokoyami, "You think that you'll be able to defeat me with such lacking power? How laughable! Come then, lowly Hero Course wannabe, come face true strength!"
Tokoyami orders Dark Shadow to attack again, brushing Arashi's comments aside and focusing on the fight.
Arashi changes to a more aggressive pose and shouts, "Overtime!"
Suddenly, a humanoid made of electricity manifests and intercepts Dark Shadow with an attack of it's own, a bright flash of electricity following soon after and startling Dark Shadow.
Arashi clicks his tongue while waggling his finger, "How dreadful. You'll never be able to defeat my Stand, Overtime, if your Dark Shadow is terrified of light! Really, this fight is already over!"
Tokoyami takes a breath, he knows what this is, he was born for this. Slowly, he begins to walk forward.
Arashi smiles, an eyebrow raised questioningly, "Oh? You're approaching me? Instead of running away, you're coming right to me?"
Tokoyami nods, "I can't end this fight without getting closer."
"Oh? Then come as close as you like!", Arashi says as he too starts advancing.
Meanwhile with Kirishima and Tetsutetsu, they both get the strange urge to start posing.
In the announcer's booth, Present Mic's eyes have just about escaped the confines of his face, "Hold on, is this entire fight turning into a Jojo reference?"
Finally, the two opponents meet in the middle. A second passes where they're completely still, but then, they move.
Tokoyami sends his Stan- Quirk out to attack with a cry of, "Dark Shadow!", a pose maintained the entire time.
Arashi quickly responds with, "Overtime!", as his man-made Stand meets Dark Shadow head on with a powerful attack.
Quickly, Arashi takes a remote out of his pocket and presses a button on it, the stadium speakers coming to life with a familiar piano melody. It's floating through the air… Almost like a Golden Wind.
Mic cries out, "Wait, can we even play this? What about copyright?"
For once, he's ignored as Arashi continues the fight, Overtime attacking faster and faster, beating Dark Shadow back as it and Arashi slowly advance.
Arashi's voice soon joins his stand's attacks, "Muda! Mudamudamudamudamudamudamudamudamudamudamudamudamduamduamduamduamuda!"
With one final strike, and one last cry of, "Muda!", Arashi sends Tokoyami flying out of the arena as the piano music fades out.
Looking over his shoulder, Arashi strikes one last pose as his victory is declared, having one last thing to say before leaving, "Gooodbyyyyeeee, Tokoyami!"
And with that, he exits the arena and returns to his seat.
A/N: You thought it would be a normal chapter, but it was this! A Jojo reference! Anyway, I finally got my shit together and got back to working on this, so now you get another chapter. For those curious, the song reference for Arashi's stand is the song Overtime by Cash Cash. Anyway, see y'all next time.
