Back home, Emma is meeting Sean for lunch, as she walks into the dot, she sees Sean talking to Ellie, laughing and what looks to be flirting
Emma (to Sean): Uhm hi
Sean turns around
Sean (laughing): Oh, hey baby
Emma: I thought I was meeting my husband for lunch, not my husband and his ex-girlfriend, guess I was wrong.
She turns around to leave
Sean: Babe, it's not like that
Emma turns and faces Sean
Emma: Really Sean? It's not you flirting with your ex?
Ellie: Emma-
Emma: Save it, Ellie.
Sean: Babe! Relax, ok? Grab a chair and I'll explain
Emma: Why?
Sean pulls a chair out for Emma, she takes a seat next to Sean
Ellie: Emma, Sean and I were just talking, I saw him waiting for you and decided to pull up a chair. Honestly, I was thanking him for saving me when we were in high school, Emma. congratulating him on your wedding and the baby
Emma: All of the sudden you're wanting to thank him? After he's married with a child on the way?
Ellie: I'm perfectly happy in Brampton, Emma. I have my dream job as a journalist, and I've been in a stable relationship for 2 years now.
Emma: That's great Ellie, good for you,
Ellie (to Sean): Sean, seriously I'm so happy for you guys, I always knew you'd marry Emma in the end
Sean smiles as he wraps his arm around Emma's shoulders
Emma: Thanks Ellie.
Ellie: I'm only in town to cover a story, I stopped by to grab some coffee and do some work, I had no idea I was going to run into Sean, Emma.
Sean (to Emma): She's not psycho anymore, babe.
Ellie: I've been sober for nearly 3 years now.
Emma: That's great, Ellie.
Ellie: Congratulations, again on the marriage and the pregnancy, Emma. Happiness looks good on you.
Ellie looks at Sean
Ellie: Both of you
Emma (smiles): Thank you, Ellie. That's really nice of you
Ellie: Well, I better get going.
Ellie stands up
Ellie (to Sean): Thanks again Sean, for everything. You really don't understand how much you saved me back then.
Sean: See you around Ellie
Emma looks at Sean
Emma: I'm happy for her, I am. I just still don't trust her, babe. I'm sorry but I don't
Sean: Emma, you heard her yourself, she's got her own life back in Brampton. I have you and our little girl, that's all I'll ever want. Ellie never meant as much to me as you do, and always have baby.
Emma places her hand on her stomach as she gives Sean a painful look and groans
Sean: What's wrong?
Emma: Rose is really kicking my ribs today.
Sean (smiles): Is she?
Emma: Yea, feel it.
Sean places his hand over Emma's stomach and feels the baby kick
Sean: That's my girl
Emma: I can't wait until she's here in our arms. I hope she looks like you
Sean: She'll have her mama's beauty without a doubt
Emma: Oh, sweet girl, mommy and daddy can't wait until you're here with us.
Sean smiles as he leans over and kisses Emma
Sean: I love you, both of you.
Emma: We love you too.
Sean: Ready to go home, honey?
Emma yawns
Emma: Yea, I could go for a nap
They leave and head back to the house and see someone sitting on their front porch
Sean: Were you expecting anyone, babe?
Emma: No, Manny's still up north as far as I know. Are you?
Sean: No
They arrive home and get out of the car and begin walking up to the house
Sean: Jay?!
Jay: Hey old buddy
Emma: What the hell are you doing here Jay?
Sean: Emma, go inside babe. I can deal with Jay
Sean gives Emma a kiss
Emma: No, absolutely not. I'm not leaving you alone with Jay.
Sean: Emma-
Jay: She's still defending you, after all these years, how cute
Sean: She's my wife dumb ass, of course she's going to defend me. What are you doing here anyway?
Jay: I come to you because I want Manny back.
Emma: Well, you're a little late on that Jay.
Sean: Bull, what's the real reason? And how did you find out where Emma and I live?
Jay: Internet
Emma scoffs as her phone rings, she looks at the caller ID on her phone and shows it to Sean. She walks away to answer the phone
Emma: Hey, Mrs. Johnson
Manny (chuckles): Seems surreal, don't it?
Emma: No, you got your dream guy
Manny hears yelling in the background
Manny: What's going on over there?
Emma: It's nothing. So, what's going on with you and your new hubby? Where you guys going for your honeymoon?
Manny: I don't know where we are going yet, if we are going on one at all.
Emma: Really?
Manny: I think he wants to be here with his family until his dad passes
Manny hears the yelling intensify, when she hears a familiar voice
Manny: Is that Jay I hear?
Emma gets quiet on the phone
Manny: Em, what's going on
Emma: Ok, so don't kill me.
Manny: What did you do?
Emma: Oh, I didn't do anything. Sean and I come home from the dot to find Jay on our Porch
Manny: Ok?
Emma: He claims he's here cause he wants you back
Manny laughs
Manny: Please tell me you told him he's too late
Emma: I started to, then you called.
Manny: I'm finally happy for once in my life, Emma.
Emma: I know you are.
Manny: I just married the love of my life, the man of my dreams. He's about 3 ½ years too late
Emma looks at Sean
Emma (To Sean): Babe, He's not worth it.
Emma (to Manny): Manny, I got to let you go. Things are about to get ugly over here.
Manny: Ok, I'll talk at you later
Emma hangs up and runs over to Sean
Emma: Sean, What is going on?
Jay: Emma, has anyone told you how pretty you are, did you put some weight on? You look real good
Sean looks at Jay
Sean: That's my wife you're talking about idiot and the mother of my unborn child!
Jay: I want her back, man
Sean: What the hell has gotten into you? She's married now, you're too late. Now get out of here.
Emma: Manny doesn't want you, Jay. She just married the man of her dreams yesterday. She wants nothing to do with you
Jay: I love her so much
Jay stumbles to the sidewalk and nearly falls in Sean's arms
Sean: Dude, have you been drinking?
Jay: Maybe a little
Sean: Damn it Jay
Sean and Emma share a look of disappointment
Sean: I don't want him staying with us, babe. I wanted to put more of Rose's room together for her, not deal with this drunken fool.
Emma: Is there anyone we can call for him? Does he still talk to Amy?
Jay starts to slur his speech
Jay: Amy hates me
Sean: Em, he's not staying with us. I don't care
Jay: Sean, Man. What am I going to do?
Sean: Dude, I don't know, you're drunk and you're not staying with me.
Jay: Man-
Sean: Your not welcomed in my home Jay, and your making my wife uncomfortable. She don't need the stress from you.
Jay: I need somewhere to crash; I'll go to Manny's. Does she still live around here?
Emma: She's not home, and she's with her husband.
Jay begins to stumble
Sean: Damn it Jay.
Emma (sighs): Might as well let his bum ass stay on the couch.
Emma walks in the house
Sean: I hate you, so much.
Sean helps Jay into the house and onto the couch
Jay: Thanks Man.
Sean: Yea, whatever. Your gone in the morning
Jay drifts to sleep on the couch as Sean walks upstairs, goes in the bedroom, and sees Emma asleep in bed. He smiles as he sees Emma sleeping peacefully. He steps out of the bedroom and goes down the hall to the nursery and begins putting things together. A short time later, Emma walks in the room
Emma (softly): Hey handsome
Sean turns around and smiles
Sean: Hey baby, I thought you were sleeping?
Emma: I was, I thought I'd see if my husband needed help in the nursery
Sean (smiles): I'm just about done actually, honey.
Emma sits down in the rocking chair next to the crib and looks at Sean
Emma: I swear I don't know how I got so lucky
Sean: Why you say that sweetheart?
Emma: I have the best husband I could ever ask for.
Sean smiles as he helps Emma out of the rocking chair
Sean: There's nothing I wouldn't do for you, Emma. You know this
Emma: I know, I love you, I'm so grateful for all you do for our family.
Sean: You girls are more important than anything else in the world.
Emma smiles
Sean: I promised you, a long time ago, you were save with me, I was never going to leave you again. I meant what I said, honey.
Emma: I know.
Emma yawns
Sean (smiles): Come on, let's go to bed.
Emma wraps Sean in her arms
Emma: I have a better idea
Sean places his arms on Emma's hips as she passionately kisses Sean
Sean: I think I like this idea
Sean leads Emma to their bedroom and passionately places her on the bed. He looks at Emma and smiles as he begins softly kissing her.
Emma: I love when you look at me so passionately.
Sean smiles as he takes his shirt off and continues making out with Emma as he begins unbuttoning Emma's blouse revealing a black lace bra that cupped her breasts perfectly. Emma bites her bottom lip as Sean begins kissing down her breasts and body
