Chapter 41
Early morning, Sean begins to stir as he wakes up sees a sleeping Emma on his chest, he smiles, wraps his arm around her and drifts back to sleep with his wife and love his life in his arms. A few hours later, Emma begins to wake up, she looks up at Sean, who looking at her, and smiles
Sean: Hi beautiful
Emma: Hi handsome
Emma said with a beaming smile
Sean: What's on your mind baby?
Emma: I can't wait to get home to Rose
Sean: I know what you mean-
Sean said as he pulls Emma closer in his arms
Sean: It was nice to get away and have some us time, but I want to get back to Rose, too.
Emma: That, plus I have a bridezilla to deal with, and all the last minute wedding stuff
Sean: I can't wait to see your maid of honor dress-
Sean says as he softly kisses Emma
Sean: on our bedroom floor
Sean said as he softly whispers in Emma's ear
Emma: Mmm, I think someone is wanting another dose of last night
Sean: Maybe
Sean: Maybe I'll just wait until I can really have my way with you
Sean said seductively as Emma leans up to kiss him
Meanwhile back at home, Manny is at home relaxing with Chester
Chester: I'm so happy our wedding is coming up, I can't wait to see your dress
Manny: I know, we're already married but I'm so excited for our big wedding
Chester pulls Manny close in his arms
Chester: What's Emma got planned for your bachelorette party?
Manny: Not a clue. She's supposed to be coming home from her early anniversary trip with Sean today.
Chester: Speaking of trips, you're going to love where I take you for our honeymoon
Manny: Chester, I can't begin to tell you, how much I love and appreciate everything you've down for us and especially making me feel safe again, after what happen at the studio. I've never felt safer with someone as I do, when I'm with you
Chester kisses Manny's forehead and gently sweeps her hair out of her eyes
Chester (softly): There's nothing I wouldn't do to keep you safe, Manny.
Manny: I'm so sorry it's taken so long for me to let you in, let my guard down just be happy with you
Chester: Manuela Rose, you don't have to apologize for anything. In all honesty, I was the same at first but then I realized how special you are, and how good you are to me. Manny, being with you is the happiest I've ever been, and without you, I don't know where I'd be. You saved me, Manny.
Manny begins stammering
Manny: Chester, I – I had no idea
Chester: The moment we reconnected
Chester gently cups the side of her face in the palm of his hand
Chester (softly): I saw the fear and hurt in those beautiful Brown eyes, and I knew, in that moment, if we got together, I knew I would do everything in my power to protect that fragile heart, even if it took years. I didn't care, gaining your hearts trust would be worth it.
Manny: Why didn't you ever tell me this before, babe?
Chester: All I've ever cared about was making you happy, Manny. If I would've told you that before, I risked losing you, and that was something I wasn't willing to risk, I lost you once, I wasn't going to let you go again.
Manny smiles big
Manny: All these years, you've been so patient and understanding with me, even during my freak outs-
Chester takes Manny by the hands and looks into her eyes
Chester: All these years, I was patient and understanding with you, because I wanted to see how much I really and truly love you, and I would do anything to keep you safe. No matter what, I wanted you to see what I see, and that's true love.
Manny (smiles): I see it now, I see it every time I start into those gorgeous eyes of yours. It makes me so happy to see what true love really feels like, and I have you to thank for that.
Chester: This weekend, we are going to celebrate our love, and our commitment to each other in front of all our friends and family. There is no one I'd rather spend forever loving than this beautiful soul I'm staring into right now.
Manny: Awe, you're gonna make me cry. I've never been loved by someone the way you love me
Chester: Well, get used to it baby, cause I'm never going to stop loving you, and when we go on our honeymoon, I am going to do everything I can to make you-
Chester lifts Manny's chin gracefully
Chester: I am going to do everything I can, to make you, a mom
Manny looks up at Chester as her eyes begin to fill with tears
Manny: Really?
Chester: I know, you've been hurting so much more since the miscarriage.
Chester wipes a tear from Manny's eye
Manny: I love you, so much. You're so amazing in every way
Chester: No matter what, Manny. I will always love you and I will always care about you, mi amor
Manny: I couldn't ask for a better partner, I'm so grateful for you, Chester
Manny snuggles in his arms as he kisses the top of her head
Chester: You're my forever, Manny.
Manny: Thank you for showing what true love is really about it.
Chester: You are going to look so beautiful this weekend, Manny. I can't wait to take you away from here, and all the stress and drama we've gone through and just get away to celebrate us
Manny: I never thought in a million years, I'd ever find true happiness after getting my heart shattered
Chester: But I chose to pick up the pieces and mend them back together The moment we had our first date, I knew I wanted to spend forever with you.
Manny: Funny you say that, because I had a feeling about you back then, too
Chester: Oh yea? What about?
Manny: Something just told me, you'd be the one to sweep me off my feet
Manny looks at Chester and smiles
Manny: And that something was right.
Chester (smiles): I love that smile, happy looks perfect on you babe
Manny: I don't know where I'd be without you, Chester.
Chester: Well, you definitely wouldn't be as happy as you are right now
Manny smiles as she softly laughs
Manny: This is true
Manny's phone rings
Manny: Hello?
Emma: What are you doing?
Manny: I'm hanging out with Chester, where are you at?
Emma: We just got home about a couple hours ago. You want to go shopping?
Manny: If you want, I thought maybe you'd wanna spend time with your family today
Emma: Uhm we have a lot to do before your wedding this weekend
Manny laughs
Manny: I'll see you guys in a little bit
Emma: I'll call you when I'm on my way
Manny: Alright, bye
Manny hangs up
Chester: Have I told you lately how much I love that smile on you?
Manny: I think you have a few times
Manny said as she smiles as Chester laughs
Chester: Well, I certainly love that smile and I most certainly love you
Manny: Well, I certainly love you too honey and I love having a reason to smile now
Chester laughs as Manny wraps her arms around Chester
Chester: Marrying you is the best decision I made.
Manny: I couldn't agree more, babe.
Chester: Are you feeling, ok?
Manny: Yea, I feel fine, why, hon?
Chester: I noticed you haven't been as nauseous lately
Manny: Yea, it finally let up a couple weeks ago, I think it was stress
Chester: I'm just glad you're feeling better
Manny: Yea, me too
Manny kisses Chester
Chester: I'm going to the studio, I have go to meet Jayme and the new band
Manny: Go be brilliant babe.
Chester: Have fun with Emma and Rose sweetheart.
Chester gives Manny a hug as he grabs his keys and leaves, a few minutes later her phone rings
Manny: Hello?
Emma: Hey we're on our way. I had to feed Rosie before we left
Manny: That's fine, I'll see you guys in a few minutes
Emma: Alright, bye
They hang up, A couple minutes later, Manny hears a horn honk out front. She grabs her purse, and heads out the door and gets in the car with Emma and Rose
Manny (to Rose): Hi Auntie's baby
Rose smiles in the backseat as she starts babbling
Manny (to Emma): Hey hot Mama
Emma laughs
Emma: Where are we going first?
Manny: Let's go to the dress shop
Emma begins driving to the Dress shop
Manny: So, how was the weekend getaway?
Emma: It was great, we had a wonderful time
Manny: What did he get you?
Emma: He got me a beautiful diamond necklace and Roses, he said 14 roses for 14 years I've been madly in love with you
Manny: Awe that's so sweet
Emma: He gave me a picnic in the park where he proposed, in the exact same spot
Manny: He went all out it sounds like
Emma: He even played our song that we shared our first dance to
Manny (chuckles): Ok, who is he? And what did he do with Sean?
Emma: I honestly think the army changed him
They arrive at the dress shop, Manny gets out of the car and get Rose out of her car seat as they all walk in the shop
Manny: Ok, so the colors are Red and White
Emma: Do you want to look for mine first or the baby's?
Manny: Let's look for hers first.
Emma: Um, who's going to bring her down the aisle? Since both me and Sean are in the wedding party
Manny: Tracker
Emma: Does he know this?
Emma said as they begin looking through dresses for Rose
Manny: You think he'd have an issue with it?
Emma: You can't spring it on him, in case he wants to bring someone, Manny
Manny: Ok, ok. I'll text him
Emma pulls a red heart cut out ball gown flower dress
Emma: What do you think of this song for her?
Manny: It's cute but it's not Rose
Manny's phone buzzes, she opens it to a message from Tracker
Manny: Tracker said he'd be happy to take Rose down the aisle at the wedding
Manny puts her phone in her purse and pulls out a Satin Flower Girl dress with a Tulle Skirt in Red
Emma: This is perfect. We can get her a little bow for her dress too
Manny: I love that
Emma (to Rose): Rose, baby, you're going to be the cutest girl in the wedding, my baby
Rose smiles and babbles
Manny: Well, next to Auntie Manny of course sweet girl
Emma laughs
Emma: Come on sweetpea-
Emma takes Rose from Manny's arms
Emma: Let's go find Mommy's dress now
After trying on several dresses of different styles, Manny finds a Chiffon Crinkle Skirt dress
Manny: Try this one on, Em
Emma comes out of the changing room, wearing the dress Manny had her try on
Emma: Well?
Manny: It's perfect!
Emma: I love it, too
Manny: It's settled! Emma Cameron, you look hot, Sean is going to go crazy when he sees you in this dress!
Emma: You think so?
Emma checks out her figure in the mirror
Manny: Trust me
Emma laughs
Manny: Ok, now to get my dress on and get final alterations
Manny goes and changes into her satin beaded Wedding Dress and comes out to get her alterations
Emma: You look incredible
Manny smiles as she looks in the mirror as the seamstress does the final alterations on Manny's dress
Seamstress: Ok, all done. I'll have it ready in a couple days, you can go change now
Manny goes and gets changed and comes back out a minute later as Rose begins babbling
Manny: Does Auntie's girl like my dress?
Manny says to Rose as she picks her up form Emma
Manny: I think she does
Emma: You're going to look like a princess, Chester is going to flip
Manny smiles
Manny: I can't wait until this weekend
Emma: Has he told you where he's taking you for your honeymoon?
Manny: Nope, but what is the plan for the bachelorette party this weekend?
Emma: Well since Tracker is coming down in a couple days for the wedding, I figure he can watch Rose for us, so you and I can start out with going to a smashing place
Manny looks at Emma in excitement
Manny: Where we get to break stuff?
Emma (laughs): Yes ma'am, let's face it, with all the crap you've been dealing with and going through, you need this
Manny: This is true
Emma (laughs): Then later, we'll meet up with Tori and Jamie at the club, even though you're technically already married, we're doing this wedding, the traditional way. So, Chester is going to stay at my house with Sean and Tracker and I'm going to be staying with you. The boys can handle the baby for a night
Manny chuckles as she gives Emma a hug
Manny: You're the best you know that?
Emma: Manny, I want this wedding for you and Chester to be perfect, given everything you both have gone through.
Manny: Thank you, Em. Really, I couldn't ask for a better best friend, sister, and Maid of Honor
Emma: I love you Manny. You know I'm always here for you
Manny smiles as Emma gives her a hug
Manny: I know, I love you too
They leave the dress shop with Emma and Rose's dresses as they head back to Manny's
