Thanks to gaara king of the sand for the help.

Sometime later, at sunset most of the group gathered into the living room. Vernon had finished checking in on Omid, while Kenny was outside checking on the boat with Ben assisting him.

"How's Omid doing?" Clementine asked.

"As well as can be expected under the circumstances. I did what I could for him, cleaned out the wound. But he's got a real infection, running a fever. Without antibiotics..." Vernon trailed off.

Kenny sighed as he and Ben returned to the house. "You want the good news or the bad news?"

"I think we could all use some good news." Carley said.

"Good news is the boat's seaworthy enough. In pretty good shape, mostly." Kenny said.

Christa rose a brow, "Mostly?"

"That's the bad news. Gas tank's empty and her battery's dead. We need to fix both before she's taking us any place." Kenny said.

"Well, how are we supposed to get that stuff?" Christa said.

"Maybe We should go back out onto the street, see what we can find." Ben said.

Molly shook her head. "That's not gonna work. Crawford took everything and brought it inside their walls. They siphoned every gas tank, stripped every batter. There's nothing left out there, you saw that for yourselves."

"She's right." Vernon said.

"Well, what about this Crawford place? Sounds like they'd have everything we need. Maybe we should try there." Kenny asked.

"Now, hold on a minute." Vernon said.

"Surely we have to try. If there are people left in this city who are still alive, who still have supplies...what harm can it do to ask?" Christa said.

"Trust me, you don't know these people. I do. You showing up with a wounded man? Might as well put a noose around his neck. They don't exactly welcome children with open arms, either." Vernon said.

"What the hell kind of a place are we talking about here?" Christa asked.

"The worst kind. But I don't see what other choice we have." Molly said.

"And just how exactly do you figure we do this? Because, from what I've heard, that place ain't exactly friendly to outsiders." Kenny said.

"That's putting it mildly." Molly said.

"We negotiate with them. Maybe we have something they'd be interested in trading." Ben said.

Vernon scoffed. "Negotiate? With Crawford? Once again I have to remind you, you have no idea what these people are like! They'll take what they want, and then decide whether or not to let any of you live."

"So, what, no one has any ideas?" Kenny asked.

"There might actually be a way." Vernon said. "I know the sewer system that runs beneath Crawford like the back of my hand. Y'all wouldn't happen to have a map by any chance?"

"Yeah, actually..." Kenny pulls the map from his bag and unfolds the map and places it on the coffee table.

"I think I could lead us through so we could pass under the perimeter and right into the center, where they keep their supplies. We come up right underneath 'em, take 'em by surprise, grab what we need and get out before they even knew what hit 'em." Vernon said.

"That's actually not the worst idea I've ever heard. I mean, it's close. But I don't know...maybe it could work." Molly said.

"I've thought about it before, just never had the people to do it. But I think if we all work together, we could pull it off." Vernon said.

"And what do you want in return for all this help you're giving us?" Kenny said.

"Crawford doesn't just have what you need for your boat, they're also well-stocked with medical supplies. Medicine that my people could use, just as yours could." Vernon said.

"We can do this. We have to!" Christa said.

"So... it's decided, then? We're going to Crawford?" Kenny said.

"How do we know where they store their supplies?" Ben asked.

"I used to watch them from one of the bell-towers just outside the perimeter. I've seen them carrying all kinds of stuff into that old Catholic school off the town square. I think they're using it as some kind of supply depot. There's a good chance we'll find what we need in there." Molly said.

"I don't know about you, kid, but I'd rather take a chance on doing something than just sitting around here waiting to die. That boat out there is an answered prayer, we just gotta push a little bit farther. Are you in or out?" Kenny said.

Ben does not reply.

"We should go tonight, under cover of dark. I'll go let my people know, give you all a chance to prepare. I'll be back before midnight." Vernon said.

"Be careful." Christa said.

"That's how I'm still alive." Vernon replied.

The group separates. Clementine walks toward the stairs where Danielle is sitting.

"Dani, are you okay?" Clementine asked the girl.

Danielle nodded. "Is it going to be dangerous?"

"Is what gonna be dangerous?" Clementine asked.

"Crawford." Danielle replied.

"I can't lie to you, Dani. Yeah, it's gonna be dangerous. But it's the only way to get the things we need to make Omid better, and get the boat working. That's why we have to do this. Do you understand?" Clementine said.

"I don't want anyone else to die." Danielle frowned.

"Neither do I… But no one else is going to die, Dani…" Clementine said.

"But you can't really promise that, can you?" Danielle asked.

"No, I guess I can't. Sorry." Clementine sighed.

"What should I do? Can I come too?" Danielle asked.

"Well… I don't know, Dani…. We'll have to see what Carley thinks…"

"Okay…" Danielle said.

"And you have to promise to stay close to us if she says yes…" Clementine said.

"I will. I promise."

"Okay… We'll talk to her." Clementine said.

The two girls spoke to Carley who was reluctant but eventually agreed to let Danielle tag along.

"Hold on you're bringing her? She's a little kid." Christa said.

"It's safer to bring her with us than to leave her here." Carley said.

"What's that supposed to mean."

"Exactly what it sounds like. We had a creep on the radio, possibly following up… And Omid's not in great shape… If he turns—"

"He won't turn." Christa said.

"If he does, I'd feel more comfortable knowing Danielle is safe with us." Carley replied.

"She's your responsibility, who are we to judge." Molly said.

"Fine… I just hope you're not making a mistake." Christa sighed.

"She'll be fine." Carley said.

"Alright then… Everyone get ready." Kenny told the group.

Everyone nodded.

It is nighttime when everyone, but Omid gathers in the backyard. Christa loads her gun, Molly studies the map, and Kenny searches the shed and returns with some items he found.

"Check out what I found in the garage. Hatchet, hacksaw, some other tools. Might come in handy on this little break-in." Kenny said.

"That's great. That should help."

Kenny nodded. "Uh, Carley… Can I talk to you a minute?"

Carley nodded and the two walked a bit away from the group. "Is everything okay?"

"I took another look at the boat. She's a thirty-footer." Kenny said.

"And?"

"We're gonna have a capacity problem." Kenny said. "Boat that size ain't gonna hold more than five people, even with one of them a kid."

"Crap, and there's eight of us… with Christa, Omid, and Molly."

"Assuming everyone makes it back alive, that's still too many, even if we cut Molly loose. Before this is over, we're gonna have to make a decision." Kenny said.

"You're can't be serious." Carley said.

"Look, I'm just saying, if we want the best chance of—"

Before Kenny can finish, Vernon and Brie enter the backyard.

Kenny turns to them. "Who the hell is this?"

"This is Brie, she can help us." Vernon said.

"Help us how?" Carley asked.

"I was a student at the school where Crawford keeps their supplies. I know the layout." Brie answered.

"With her help we're in and out faster. Anyone got a problem with that?" Vernon said.

"…I guess not." Carley said.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's get moving." Molly said.

"Whoa, hold on a minute. You're not taking the kid with us. Did you not hear anything I said about the kind of place Crawford is? If you take her in there and they find her—" Vernon protested, noticing Danielle.

"I'm not leaving her alone in the house with only Omid to protect her. Just not happening." Carley said.

"For what it's worth, I don't think it's a great idea either." Molly spoke.

"She's coming. I'll protect her." Carley said.

"You heard her." Kenny said. "Let's move out."

Ben offered the hatchet to Kenny, and he took it.

"Let's get this over with." Christa said.

The group heads off, leaving the house behind.

After Vernon leads them through the sewers the eventually come to a stop. The group stands beneath a manhole cover.

"This should be it. We're right underneath the center of Crawford, the old school should be directly above us." Vernon.

"Okay, people, this is it. Remember the plan. We stay quiet, we stay hidden, and we stay together. We find what we need, and we get the hell out before anyone even knows we're there. Got it?" Carley told the group.

Everyone nods.

"And that part about staying close? That goes double for you." Carley said to Danielle

Kenny climbs up the ladder and removes the manhole cover. It seems safe. "Let's go."

Everyone gets out of the sewer and hides in the bushes near a building.

Vernon furrows his brows and asks, "Where is everybody? There should be guards patrolling."

Kenny scoffs. "What, are you disappointed?"

"It's just strange, is all." Vernon said.

"I think I see one. Over there, by the door." Christa said.

"Okay, Ima sneak up, try to take him out quiet. The rest of you wait for our signal and then follow me over. Everybody got it?" Kenny said, holding the hatchet close.

The others agreed.

Kenny slowly approaches the guard with his gun drawn. "Turn around, nice and slow.

The "guard" turns around, revealing itself to be a walker.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Kenny chops him in the face or shoots him several times, killing him. The rest of the group comes out of hiding. "What the FUCK is a walker doing inside here?" More walkers approach and Kenny calls to the others. "Fucking run!"

Everyone runs inside St. Felicity's Catholic School and Kenny closes the doors behind them. They run up the stairs and burst through a door into a hallway of lockers; Vernon and Brie close the doors.

"Fuck. Fuck! Do you think they saw us?" Kenny asked.

"I don't think so. I think we're good, for now, at least." Carley said.

"What the hell happened here? I thought this place was supposed to be secure!" Christa huffed.

Molly shrugged. "What always happens, I guess. In the end, the dead always win."

"Oh, man, we are so screwed..." Ben muttered.

"No, this is good." Vernon said.

"What? How is this good?" Ben asked.

"Before, everyone in Crawford was smart and they had guns. Now they're dumb and they don't. Hey, trying to look on the bright side here." Vernon said.

"I agree. So long as we don't let 'em box us in, we can still do this. The plan hasn't changed." Kenny said.

"The plan hasn't changed? Every time walkers show up the plan changes! Do you even have any idea how many of them are out there?" Ben said.

"No. You wanna do a headcount? Or do you wanna get what we need and get the hell out of here?" Christa inquired.

"Come on, I think I know which way to head." Brie motioned for them to follow.

Ben frowned. "I got a bad feeling about this."

"We'll be fine… Just calm down." Clementine said.

The group walks down the hallway. Behind a boarded-up door marked with an X, several zombies growl.

"Just keep moving." Molly says to them.

They soon reach a door at the end of the hallway.

"Here." Brie stops.

Kenny cautiously opens the door and checks the room. "Looks okay. Everybody in."

The group enters the abandoned classroom. Kenny tries to open a door marked "Armory", but its locked. Kenny looks around and notices writing on the blackboard. "Looks like they were using this room as some kind of command center."

"Okay, so now what? Where do we start looking?" Molly asked.

"Here." Brie looked at hand-drawn map hanging on the wall. "Just give me a sec..."

"Where can we find some fuel for the boat?" Kenny asked.

"There's a maintenance shed across from the playground here," Brie points to map. "If they were storing fuel that's probably where it'll be."

Kenny nodded. "Okay, I'll make the run to the maintenance shed for the fuel."

"It'll be faster if I go with you, I can take you right to it."

"I'll come too." Ben offers.

Kenny shakes his head. "No, two people's enough. You stay here, see if you can use any of those tools we brought to get that armory door open. We might need to shoot our way out of here."

"I'll go for the medicine." Christa said.

"I'll come with you, I know what to take."

"I'll go too." Carley said. "Just in case."

"Okay, I guess that leaves me to go find the battery." Molly looked to Clementine. "You come with me, kid."

"Me?" Clementine asked.

"Yeah, you can watch my back." Molly nodded.

"I don't know…" Kenny said. "Maybe she should stay here."

"She'll be fine. We'll all meet back here." Molly said. "Come on, kid."

"What about me, what can I do?" Danielle asked.

Carley looked to the child. "I need you to stay here with Ben and watch over our command center. I'm putting you in charge of it. Okay?"

The small girl looks over at Ben trying to open the armory door. "You're leaving me with Ben?"

"I'm not leaving you with Ben. I'm leaving him with you. Understand?" Carley asked.

"Ohhh. Okay." Danielle said.

"We'll be back soon." Carley said. "Stay here, okay."

Danielle nodded. "I will."

"Good."

The group splits up to do their assigned task.

"The alleyway to the auto shop's down here." Molly leads the way, with Clementine not far behind her.

The two get to an alley way and walk down in silence until they reach a door. They go through the door and down the fire escape.

As they enter the shop, they notice a walker crawling on the ground and Molly narrows her eyes.

"Molly?"

Molly ignores the young girl as she rushes to the walker. Molly kicks the walker several times and repeatedly stabs him with the pick.

"Molly... MOLLY!" Clementine called.

"What?!" Molly snaps.

"I think you got him." Clementine replied.

Molly shook her head. "One more." She stabs the walker again then kneels down to check it for supplies. She finds a tape but tosses it aside. "Nothing useful."

"We don't know that… We should take it." Clementine said.

"Do what you want, kid." Molly shrugs, still looking angry.

Clementine went to pick up the tape, pocketing it before walking back to Molly. "He's wearing medical scrubs. He must've been a doctor or something?"

"Yeah, well, he ain't shit now." Molly kicks walker again. "Come on, let's find a way inside the garage. There's gotta be a battery in there."

Clementine nodded and went to try the door, but it wouldn't open. "It's jammed."

"Not a problem. Look over here," Molly motions to a carjack on the ground. "This should work."

"Okay, good…"

Molly picks up the carjack just as walkers start clawing at the fence, pushing it over more and more. "Let's hurry." Molly places the carjack under the garage door.

The walkers knock over the fence and start approaching. Molly hurriedly pushes up the garage door she and Clementine crawl inside.

"Take a look around. I'll make sure no stragglers get under this door." Molly said.

"Okay…" Clementine agrees.

Clementine looked around eventually spotting a hydraulic hose. The girl tries to pry the hydraulic hose. Molly notices this.

"Here, let Hilda and I help you out." Molly said.

"Hilda?"

"That's what I call her. Don't judge." Molly walks over and uses Hilda to cut the hydraulic hose.

The car slowly starts moving down the lift.

"That did it!" Clementine smiled.

The car accelerates and crashes to the floor, setting off its alarm.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!"

"That's probably not good!" Molly said.

"Not at all." Clementine agreed.

Walkers start clawing under the door. Molly runs over to fight them off. "I'll try to hold 'em off! Just get that battery off the terminals."

Clementine nods, recalling some of thing Kenny had taught her when he would work on the RV. She opened the hood and began unscrews the terminals. She detaches the terminals and picks up the battery, its heavier than she expected. "Got it!"

"Yeah, but we still got a problem here. Put it in here, I'll carry it!" Molly motions to her backpack.

Clementine puts the battery in the woman's backpack.

"Okay, follow me." Molly climbed on the semi truck. "Move your ass, kid."

Clementine climbed up the semitruck as well and soon walkers surround it. "Now what?"

"Skylight." Molly said, drawing a gun and shooting the glass. With the glass broken, Molly jumps and uses the pick to climb up to the roof, she then helps pull Clementine up.

"Come on." Molly jumps to the adjacent rooftop, using Hilda to help her climb up.

"Y-You want me to jump?!" Clementine gasped.

"You have to. You'll be fine!" Molly said.

Clementine hesitated.

"Come on, kid. Hurry." Molly ordered.

Clementine finally jumps to the other rooftop and grabs onto Molly's hand; she helps pull the teen up. They arrive back at the school and stop to catch their breath.

"W-What do you think happened to Crawford?" Clementine asked.

"Don't know, don't care. As far as I'm concerned these fuckers got what was coming to them." Molly said.

"Not a lot of sympathy for the people who died here, huh?" Clementine asked.

"I have about as much for them as they did for the sick and the old and anyone else they didn't think was fit to belong in their little paradise. So, yeah, fuck 'em." Molly sighed. "I'll catch you later. Go check in with your dad. I'm sure he's worried."

"Kenny's not my dad." Clementine said.

"I know. But he sure acts like it." Molly replied.

"Wait! You've still got the battery!" The teen called.

Molly nodded. "Yeah, I think I'll hold onto it, make sure your people don't leave without me. See you back in class!"

"Molly!"

The woman runs off without another word. Clementine sighs and drops down through the hole in the ceiling. The young girl walked down the hallway. Kenny and Brie run inside the door, holding gas cans.

"Clem! Thank God you're okay!" Kenny said, as he spotted her.

"Wanna help us out, kid?" Brie asked, sounding a bit panicked.

Clementine nods.

They drop the gas cans and the hatchet and the three push the doors closed as walkers try to get in; the doors get stuck on a walker's head. Kenny shoots the walker and they successfully close the doors.

"Brace the door with something!" Brie said.

Clementine picks up the hatchet and sticks it between the handles. "Think that'll hold?"

"It damn well better." Kenny said.

"There's so many of them..." Brie frowned.

"But you got the fuel." Clementine said.

"Yeah, but let's not start high-fiving each other just yet. Let's get the hell back to the classroom." Kenny said.

The three of them bring the cans to the classroom.

Danielle smiles, "You're back."

Kenny returns the smile. "Yeah, and we made out pretty good too."

"Great work, Kenny!" Ben praised with a grin.

"How're you doing with that door?" Kenny asked.

Ben's grin faded. "Not so good."

"Here, let me give you a hand." Kenny made his way over to help with the door. "Clem, did you get that battery yet?"

"Yeah, Molly has it." Clementine said.

"And where is Molly?" Kenny inquired.

"She… went to run an errand. She'll be back."

"She better. I dunno why you trusted that girl with it, we hardly know her." Kenny said.

"She's trying to help us… I think we should be grateful." Clementine said.

"If you say so…" Kenny shrugged.

Clementine decided to check in on Danielle who was sitting at one of the desks. "You okay, Dani?"

"Yeah. Where's Molly?"

"She had to do something. She'll be back soon." Clementine said.

"I hope she's okay." Danielle said.

"She'll be fine. She's pretty tough." Clementine said.

"That's good. I'm glad Kenny and Brie made it back okay." Danielle said.

"Yeah, me too. And now we have fuel for the boat." Clementine said.

"That's good. Do you think we'll be here much longer?" Danielle asked.

"I sure hope not." Clementine said.

"You know… This desk is just like the ones we have in my school. It makes me think of when things were normal…" Do you think things will ever be normal again? Just like the way they were before?" Danielle asked.

Clementine nodded. "Yeah. It may take a while, but, yeah, I do. Don't you?"

"I hope so." Danielle said.

"That's good. You hold onto that hope. It's the one thing none of this can take away." Clementine said.

"Okay…" Danielle said.

"You sit tight, okay?" Clementine said.

"I will." Danielle said.

Clementine checks the map on the wall, then exits the classroom deciding to see if she can help with anything else. She heads towards the nurse's office, where several walkers have surrounded the door. She realizes Carley, Christa, and Vernon must be trapped in there. She notices a gun on the ground, Carley must have dropped it. The girl quietly sneaks to the weapon and grabs it.

She shoots one of the walkers, drawing the others attention toward her. With a few more shots she kills the remaining walkers.

She enters the office and Christa points her gun at her but puts it away after recognizing her.

"What happened?" Clementine asked.

"They wandered into the hallway after we got inside. I think they must have heard us rooting around in here. The whole place is infested, they're everywhere!" Christa said.

"It's okay. I took care of them." Clementine said. "Did you guys find the medicine?"

"Yeah-that's our other problem. Take a look. Looks like they were keeping all the prescription meds in that safe-locked up tight." Vernon said.

"There's no way we can bust it open?" Clementine asked.

"Maybe with enough time. But I don't know how much of that we have. Be a hell of a lot quicker if we just knew the four-digit combination." Vernon said.

"Well, I doubt they just wrote it down and left it here for us to find. We should just try busting it open, we don't have any other choice." Christa said.

"Well, now that the walkers are dealt with, we can search for any clues to help us find the combination." Carley said.

"We did find a video tape, but it cut right before we could see the combo." Christa explained.

"Video tape…. Actually, Molly and I found one." Clementine said. "I'm not sure if it will help."

"Really, let me see it." Carley said. "Where is Molly anyway? I thought you two were looking for the battery."

"We already got the battery." Clementine said. "Molly has it."

"That's great, one down. Where is she now?" Vernon asked.

"She … took off, had some kind of errand she needed to run." Clementine said.

"Took off...with the battery?" Vernon asked.

"Yeah. I'm sure she'll be back." Clementine said.

"I hope so. That girl doesn't really strike me as a team player. More the mercenary kind." Vernon said.

"We'll figure something out, kiddo… Why don't you head back and check on Dani?" Carley suggested.

"I did she's fine…" Clementine said. She wanted to help more.

"Well, how about you go keep her some company then." Carley said.

Clementine sighed. "Okay…"

The girl slowly left the room, though she had no intentions of returning to the classroom, she decided to search for Molly. As she enters the hallway however, Molly climbs down from a hole startling her in the ceiling

"Oh shit." Clementine gasped. "You scared me. Where did you go?"

"Sightseeing." Molly said.

"We should get that battery to the others." Clementine said.

"Oh...yeah, about that…"

Clementine's eyes widened at that.

Molly chuckles as she notices the teen's shocked face, "I'm just kidding."

Clementine rolled her eyes.

"Come on, kid."

Clementine notices Molly holding a photo in her hand. "What's that?

"Nothing." Molly quickly said.

"Is that what you went searching for?" Clementine asked.

Molly sighed and with some hesitance spoke, "I used to live here with my sister. She was fourteen years old. When the dead started walking and Crawford shut itself in, it seemed like a pretty good deal at first. We were safe, we had everything we needed to survive. Then the rules started coming down. No one who couldn't justify their place, earn their keep. No one who required special care. My sister was diabetic, and by Crawford's rules, that made her a liability. I kept it a secret. Kept her safe for as long as I could. But in the end, I couldn't protect her. That's when I got out. Crawford, they always talked about how their system worked, how anything was better than becoming "one of them". But I saw what they'd already become. I just wished I could have seen it before it was too late. Before they came and took my sister away." Molly showed the picture. "This is all that I have left of her. I didn't have time to take it before I got out of Crawford. I just wanted it, okay?"

"It's okay, Molly. I understand. She's pretty." Clementine said.

"Thanks, kid. Come on, let's-"

Suddenly bells start tolling.

"What the hell...?" Molly said.

"That's not gonna be good." Clementine said.

"Not at all." Molly said.

Before long Carley, Christa and Vernon approach, carrying the medicine.

"What the hell is going on?" Christa asked.

"No idea… But it you're done, we need to get a move on." Molly said.

They nodded in agreement. As they are about to turn the corner, Ben jumps out with the hatchet, startling them.

"Jesus!" Molly jumps.

"Ben!" Clementine sighs.

"Sorry, sorry! I just got spooked by those bells. And then I heard someone coming..." Ben explained.

"It's fine. You just spooked us." Carley said.

"Sorry…" Ben apologized again then said, "Kenny and I still can't get the door open to the armory. He sent me out to look for something we can use to bust it open." Ben showed them the hatchet. "I found this.

Clementine's eyes widened. "Uh, Ben...where did you get that?"

"I just found it; it was stuck in the door handle at the end of the hallway back there." Ben said.

"Oh, no..."

Walkers bust through the doors. Carley draws her gun, and Molly kills several walkers with her pick. One of them grabs onto her arm, and she punches it, trying to get free.

Carley quickly shoots the walker.

"Thanks." Molly said.

Carley simply nods.

The group runs to the classroom and Brie holds the doors closed.

"What the fuck is going on?" Kenny asked them.

"We got walkers coming!" Carley said.

"Oh, shit." Kenny huffed.

Vernon and Christa quickly block the door with a desk. "That oughta hold them for a bit." Vernon said.

"Sure...but now how do we get out?" Brie asked.

Kenny continually tries to knock the door down by slamming his shoulder into it. "Through the armory, if we can just get this damn door open."

Ben offers Carley the hatchet, and she grabs it.

"Come on...damn you!" Kenny said.

"This is my fault...all my fault." Ben muttered.

"We'll be fine, Ben. We're gonna get out of here…" Carley reassured him.

Ben shook his head. "It's my fault…"

"Ben, stop." Carley frowned, "You didn't know—"

"No… Everything is my fault…" Ben murmured.

"Ben, d-don't." Clementine spoke up.

The others were confused by that.

"No, wait, I want to know what he meant. What do you mean, this is all your fault?" Christa asked.

"Kenny, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry, man..." Ben frowned.

"Kid, this ain't the best time! Whatever you did, save it for later!" Kenny said.

Ben frowned muttering to himself. "I opened the door, I let them in..."

"I said save it for after we get outta here!" Kenny snapped.

"Ben—"

Ben cut Clementine off. "It's been me all along. Putting all of us in danger. Katjaa and Duck... It was all me. It was all me!"

Kenny kicks the door open. "Wait a minute...what are you saying?"

"It was me who made the deal with the bandits at the motor inn, slipping them supplies. I thought maybe I could keep them off our backs. When it got discovered, that's when they attacked. That's when Duck..."

Kenny lunges at Ben, and Vernon quickly grabs him. Carley and Brie going to help hold him back.

"Kenny, calm down, please!" Clementine said.

"You little pissant! You are fucking dead, you hear me? Dead! My wife and child, you got them both fucking killed!" Kenny snapped.

"Kenny! Listen to me! We can't do this right now… We have to get the hell out of here. Please…" Clementine said.

Kenny stops struggling to attack Ben.

Molly scoffs. "Nice group you got here."

"Not the time, Molly!" Carley replied.

"If this asshole thinks he's getting on my boat after what he did, he's out of his motherfucking mind! " Kenny shoved Ben. "You hear me, shitbird? You can stay behind and fucking rot!"

"Kenny, we'll sort this out later. AFTER we get out of here, okay?" Carley said.

"Ain't nothing to sort out! I just told you the way it's gonna be!" Kenny snapped.

"The boat's not big enough for all of us. Somebody's gotta get left behind, might as well be this piece of shit right here!" Kenny said.

"Well, I vote we leave him. I'm sorry, Ben. I know you mean well, but all I want to do is get back to Omid. And you put that at risk." Christa said.

"Wait, don't I get a vote?" Danielle asked.

"Of course you do." Carley said.

"I don't think we should leave anyone behind." Danielle said.

"I'm with you, Dani… We should stick together." Clementine said.

Christa sighed. "On second thought, I think I'm gonna abstain. Carley?"

"I've seen enough of Crawford to know that becoming like them is the beginning of the end. I vote Ben stays with us." Carley said.

"What about the rest of us, don't we get a say in—" Brie is cut off as a walker breaks through the door and grabs her. The woman screamed when walkers grab onto her and bite her, then rip out her guts with their teeth.

"BRIE!" Vernon screamed.

"NOW can we go?" Molly asked.

"Yeah! Everyone move! Now!" Carley said.

The group runs through the armory door. Kenny tries to slam it closed but it doesn't stay that way, the lock is busted. "Great, just fucking great...come on, there's gotta be a way out down here!"

The group walks down the stairs and opens the door, finding a bunch of walkers that instantly head toward them. Kenny hurriedly closes the door. "FUUUUUCK! That's not gonna hold. Back upstairs!"

The group rushes up the stairs and Kenny takes a rifle from a nearby corpse as the others continue up the steps.

Kenny fires at the walkers as they walk through the door. Carley and Christa also shooting as they rush towards a window to escape.

"This leads to the roof, we might be able to find a way down from there." Christa motions to the window.

Vernon looks outside and asked, "You didn't come into town from the railroad, did you?"

"Yeah, why?" Kenny asked.

"Never mind. I can see the sewer where we came in from here. I think we can do this." Vernon said.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Go! Go!" Kenny ushers them out.

Everyone except Carley and Kenny climbs out the window.

Ben freezes in place, still shaken up by everything.

"Ben, come on, let's go!" Carley calls.

The bell starts tolling. As it moves back and forth, the walker hanging from the bell swings toward Ben and grabs him.

Carley shoots the walker; the rope around its neck snaps and it falls, taking Ben with it, but he manages to grab onto the edge. His hand slips, but Carley grabs his arm.

"Hold on, Ben! I've got you! Climb up! Come on, you can do it!" Carley said.

"There's no time! You have to go, now!" Ben said.

Carley shakes her head. "Quit fucking around, Ben! Come on!"

"Let go, damn it! Get the others out of here!"

"Kenny, help!"

Kenny hesitates.

"Just…. Just let me go.

Walkers get closer to the top of the stairs.

Kenny huffs but rushes over and helps Carley pull Ben up.

"Why?" Ben asked.

"Just shut up and move your asses! Hurry." Kenny said.

Ben frowned but obliges. They climb out the window and meet up with the rest of the group.

Much time passes before the group arrives back at the house.

They immediately go to check on Omid.

Christa notices he looks worse than before. "Omid..." She runs over to Omid and holds his hand. "I never should have left you... I'm so sorry..."

"Christa, get away from him!" Vernon orders.

Hearing the noise, Omid wakes up. "Hey. Back already?"

'We got you medicine." Christa tells him.

"Good, feel like I could use some." Omid said.

Vernon gives Omid some pills and then proceeds to check his leg again.

Omid scans the room and notices everyone looks glum. "You all look worse than I do.

"We almost didn't make it out of there because of this asshole." Kenny motions to Ben. "He's lucky we didn't leave him behind when we had the chance."

Omid frowned. "What the hell happened out there?"

Kenny turned away. "Let someone else tell you, I got work to do."

Clementine sighed and decided she needed to get some air, everything was so stressful right now. The girl walked from the room without a word.

Vernon continued to check on Omid. "Okay, with a little luck you should start feeling better pretty soon. I'll stay here for a few more hours to check on you."

"Thanks, doc." Omid said.

"Yes, thank you so much!"

"Where'd Clem go?" Molly asked.

"I'm sure she's fine…" Carley said. "She could probably use some space.

"Are you? She seemed upset the entire walk." Molly pointed out.

"She will be fine. It's been a long few day for her… For everyone…" Carley said.

Molly nodded her understanding but she decided she should go check on the girl. She was worried about the kid.

Clementine stood outside in silence. The girl decided to get some air, the group was falling apart, and it hurt to know it.

The girl furrows her brows when she hears what sounds like static. She knows it can't be her walkie talkie as she left it inside. She goes to see what it is. As she peeks through the gate, she suddenly feels someone grab her from behind. Before she can react, a hand covers her mouth and a gun is pressed to her head.

The girl tries to struggle free but he pressed the gun harder.

"Stop. I won't hesitate to pull the trigger."

Clementine's struggles die down.

"Now now. Be a good girl, and don't fight."

The girl feels her heart pounding wondering what this man wants from her. But she quickly recognizes his voice sounds a bit familiar.

"Clem, you out here, kid—" Molly stops, eyes widening as she sees Clementine and the man holding her at gunpoint. "Let her go." Molly speaks suddenly.

The man turns to her, still keeping the gun to Clementine's head.

"M-Molly, stay back." Clementine said, not wanting the woman to get hurt.

"I won't say it again. Let her go." Molly ordered to the man.

The man responds by hitting the young girl in the head with the gun, knocking the teen out cold before turning around and pointing the weapon at Molly.

Molly goes to attack him, but he pulls the trigger, shooting her once in the chest, then again in the head

Hearing the gunshots from inside, the others are concerned and alerted.

The strange man picks the small teen up into his arms, the girl's hat falling off in the process. Carrying the young teen, he walks away, leaving the gate open to allow walkers inside.
