In the words of the great Chris Rock as Marty the zebra, HOLY SUGAR HONEY ICED TEA! I have waited for this chapter for so long. Can't wait for y'all to read it.

Being a little child living in an orphanage can be hard. Kids obviously don't always get along with other kids. You have to teach them to get along and that could be hard depending on who the kid is. One girl in the orphanage who never got along with most kids was Meiko. All the other kids thought she was violent, that she just instinctively loves getting physical, they're right. Meiko was a tough little five year old girl, whenever any other kid made her mad she'd just beat the snot out of them. She would never take crap from anyone. One day, her life changed forever and it was because of one person.

"How dare you runover my toy soldier!" Meiko yelled at the boy who she had grabbed by his collar.

"Please don't beat me up! I swear I'll never mess with your toys again." The boy was scared for his life.

"Too late meanie!" Meiko was about to punch him in the face, but a voice stopped her.

"No Meiko! Don't!" A blue-haired boy also living in the orphanage came.

"You're way too compassionate Kaito, this boy doesn't deserve mercy." Meiko told him.

"Please don't hurt him, he's sorry." Kaito begged Meiko to not hurt the boy.

Meiko let the boy's collar go "You're lucky that Kaito came to your rescue."

Kaito was one of the few kids in the orphanage who Meiko got along with, they weren't friends, but he was someone Meiko respected for taking care of all the other kids in need whenever they need him. Life was hard for Kaito and Meiko, they were just two five year old kids who never knew who their parents are. They had no clue where life was gonna take them. They didn't knew that it was going to be a life-changing day for them.

"We want all the children here to gather together in the classroom!" Everyone in the orphanage heard the loudspeaker, they were being called, and everyone realized it was for important reasons.

All the kids gathered in the classroom, waiting for their teacher to arrive.

"Hello there little ones." The teacher arrived, she greeted them kindly.

"Why did you called us all here?" One little boy asked.

"You see, someone important has arrived here and I think she'd love to see you all in one room," their teacher said "please welcome, Lola!"

Lola arrived in the room ready to meet the young children "Good evening everyone, I always wanted to visit this place."

"It's her... it's really her." Meiko whispered, she was lost for words, this was the greatest moment of her life so far.

"Who even are you?" A different girl asked Lola, Meiko was pretty much the only one who recognized her.

"I'm-" as Lola opened her mouth, Meiko interrupted her.

"You're Lola, you're 16 years old, you've just started MMA this year and you already have a solid 2-0 record." Meiko said.

"Yeah, you're about right, how do you know all that?" Lola asked Meiko.

"My name is Meiko, I love watching action packed things on TV, so obviously I watch MMA too." Meiko answered.

"You guys let her watch MMA?" Lola asked the teacher, being surprised.

"That's because she's Meiko, none of us are brave enough to stop her." The teacher told Lola.

"I absolutely loved your fights! You just embarrassed those poor ladies." Meiko complimented her.

"Well, I'm in front of you now." Lola said.

"I never thought I'd see someone who I saw on TV." Meiko ran towards Lola and hugged her legs.

"You're such a sweet little girl." Lola said happily.

"Please adopt me." Meiko requested Lola, it was all Meiko wanted now.

"Sorry Meiko, I'm legally not old enough to adopt anyone." Lola answered.

"But..." Meiko was speechless hearing her answer.

"I just came here because I love children and I wanted to see this place at least once." Lola told her.

"No... you must adopt me... you must! You must! You must! YOU MUST!" Meiko started crying and was begging Lola to adopt her.

"Sorry Meiko, but we have to escort you back to your room." Her teacher said.

A guard came and grabbed Meiko up to take her back to her room.

"You all can't do this to me, I want her to be my mommy! I WANNA! I WANNA! I WANNA!" Meiko was still crying emotional tears over being seperated from Lola.

"Poor little girl." Lola felt really bad for her.

"I can't believe it! For the first time in my life, I wanted to be adopted and it didn't happened." Meiko was infuriated.

"Don't worry Meiko, I'm sure everything will turn out alright for you in the end." Her friend told her.

"Look Kokone, I appreciate wanting to make me feel better, but it's not working." Meiko replied.

The four year old Kokone was Meiko's only friend she had to this point. She was the only kid who never feared her. The only one who was nice to her. The only one who understood her. Right now though, her attempts to console Meiko weren't going well. It had been a few weeks since the incident with Lola had happen. It had left Meiko devastated and she has been acting angrier than usual since then.

"C'mon Meiko, you have to get over it someday." Kokone was getting worried.

"Well, it's not gonna be this day." Meiko told her.

It looked like Meiko was gonna remain like this, but just then, a voice was heard.

"The head of the orphanage speaking! I want Meiko in my office right now." Everyone heard the loudspeaker.

"Jeez, what does he want from me now." Meiko wasn't thrilled with being called.

"Maybe he wants to help you, maybe he just wants to see you happier." Kokone speculated.

"How you're always so positive I'll never get." Meiko said to Kokone and went to the head's office.

Meiko was expecting just another crappy day, she didn't thought she was called for something she'd like, boy was she wrong. She opened the door to the office and she saw Lola standing next to the orphanage's head.

"L-Lola... what are you doing here?" Meiko didn't understood.

"Lola was the reason I called you here," he told Meiko "why don't you explain it yourself Lola?"

"I thought about what you said Meiko, and despite not being old enough to adopt you, I do genuinely wanna be your mother." Lola said.

"You... you mean it?" Meiko was starting to tear up.

"So therefore, I promise I'll adopt you when I get old enough." Lola promised.

"Y-You're the best!" Meiko started crying of joy, ran towards Lola and hugged her, this time Lola hugged back.

"We've agreed that you'll not be open for adoption until Lola can adopt you." The head explained.

"But that is too long of a period for me to wait," Meiko said "I wanna spend time with her now."

"That's okay, we've also agreed that I can take you to my house every now and then so we could get to know one another." Lola told her.

"I can't wait to live with you." Meiko was so happy.

"Me neither." Lola agreed.

"You promise you'll train me in MMA?" That was something Meiko desperately wanted.

"Consider yourself my student." Lola was stoked to teach Meiko what she knew.

It had been an year since Meiko met Lola. She has been visiting her house to spend as much time as possible whenever the orphanage lets her. Whenever Meiko visits, she learns so much about fighting and Lola teaches her about everything she needs in combat. One day, Lola was training, continuously punching a punching bag, suddenly Meiko started talking.

"You're 13-0 now Lola, you're doing amazing! Surely you'll be challenging for the belt one day." Meiko said.

"I'm not looking forward that day." Lola said, still punching.

"Why not?" Meiko was confused.

"You're not me, don't bother trying to understand." Lola told her, still punching.

"You could try explaining, even if I don't understand I'd like to have some idea." Meiko requested.

"Alright." Lola said reluctantly.

She stopped punching the bag and went near Meiko.

"Listen Meiko, when I was little and had a hand injury, my parents called a hospital on their phone, guess what happened?"

"I don't know." Meiko had no clue.

"They didn't came, the moment they heard my name was Lola, it was over for me." She told Meiko.

"They didn't?" Meiko was appalled.

"It was because my name gave it away that I wasn't Japanese." Lola explained further.

"What kinda reason is that?" Meiko didn't understood.

"It's called racism, you're too young to comprehend how it works, but just know that it's wrong." Lola said.

"But what does this had to do with you challenging for the championship." Meiko asked.

"The audience won't be happy seeing a non-Japanese champion." Lola said, sounding defeated.

"Don't listen to them Lola! They're a bunch of losers, you'll be champion soon and you'll deserve it!" Meiko encouraged her.

"Yeah, I probably shouldn't be thinking about it." Lola smiled.

"Besides, you look so cool punching that bag while wearing these awesome black hoodies." Meiko said.

Lola continued training that day, while also teaching Meiko some basics.

It had been about two years since Meiko had met Lola. Meiko's wishes had finally came true as Lola was challenging for the championship against the dreaded undefeated champion Sachiko. Meiko was in her room right now, in the orphanage, watching the press conference for Lola and Sachiko's upcoming fight on the TV with her dear friend Kokone.

"Lola is gonna destroy her and become champion!" Meiko was so excited.

"Lola has came such a far way." Kokone said.

"So Lola, are you in any way nervous that you're about to fight the undefeated champion Sachiko?" A journalist asked.

"She's not the only undefeated one in this fight, I'm undefeated too." Lola responded.

"Give me a break, my 29-0 record is way scarier than your lousy 17-0 record." Sachiko told her.

"You may be dangerous Sachiko, but you're also arrogant." Lola said to her.

"That's what everyone less successful than me says." Sachiko said in a cocky voice.

"Okay then, thanks for proving how only undeserving people reach success." Lola said.

"What did you call me!" Sachiko yelled and was about to punch Lola but a guard stopped her.

A fight was etching to break out as Lola and Sachiko were tring to attack eachother, but the guards dragged both of them out, and prevented both of them from getting physical.

"That Sachiko is such a jerk." Meiko was not pleased from what she saw on TV.

"I hope this doesn't go too far." Kokone was worried.

"Don't worry Kokone, Lola will beat her up senselessly." Meiko said, not understanding what Kokone meant.

"Good evening everyone!" One of the commentators said "If you haven't been keeping up, this event has been breathtaking, but now it's time for our main event, the reigning champion Sachiko is about to defend her title, she's 5'8", 23 years old, and has 29 victories with no losses, her opponent on the other hand, the challenger Lola is 5'7", 18 years old, has 17 victories, and just like Sachiko have never lost either, one of these two dangerous girls is gonna be handed their first loss today and it's gonna be thrilling."

Meiko was sitting in the crowd, cheering for Lola to win and take the belt.

"Go Lola! Embarrass her!" Meiko was so passionate about this fight.

Lola sat in her corner inside the octagon, multiple strategies in her mind.

"Meiko's here in the building tonight, can't let her down." Lola whispered to herself as she stood up and got ready for the fight.

Round 1

Lola and Sachiko approached eachother. Sachiko in her green outfit went for a punch to Lola's face, but Lola with her black outfit avoided it and punched Sachiko in the gut. Lola continued her domination with a left kick to Sachiko's jaw. It hurted her like hell, but through sheer adrenaline Sachiko kept standing. Lola then got behind her and trapped Sachiko in rear-naked choke. Sachiko remained in the choke for over three minutes before escaping it. The two of them then exchanged a couple punches before the round ended die to the time-limit expiring.

Round 2

Lola and Sachiko continued to throw punches. They both dodged some of the punches, but then suddenly Lola started successfully connecting more and more punches. She started grappling Sachiko and pinned her down, and kept punching as Sachiko struggled to block.

Round 3

Sachiko was visibly tiring out now, her stamina was draining, and it became clear how much superior Lola was. Lola kept throwing punches and kicks, this time putting less effort because she knew Sachiko was having a hard time. She was just playing with Sachiko by this point. One more punch finally dropped Sachiko to the ground, but before Lola could capitalize and continue her assault for the K.O. Sachiko was saved by the time-limit.

Round 4

It was pretty much the same as round 3. Sachiko was gassed out from wasting too much energy, while Lola was toying with her. Lola was pretty much forcing a fighting genius like Sachiko to make rookie mistakes and it was resulting in Sachiko receiving too many hits on her head and belly. Lola locked Sachiko in an arm bar, and once again, Sachiko would've had tapped out had the time-limit not saved her again.

Round 5

Sachiko pretty much spent this whole round leaning on the cage trying not to fall down, but Lola would just not punching her face, knee-striking her stomach. Sachiko, like the stubborn fighter she was, refused to get knocked down, and took all of Lola's attacks. No matter how much she was beaten, she remained standing. In the end, the time-limit ran out and the fight was over.

With all rounds finished, the fight had concluded. Sachiko was devastated because she knew that was beaten, but she toughened herself up and went near the refree for the announcement.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this contest via unanimous decision, and neeeeeww champion of the world, LOOOOOOLLLAAAA!" The announcer announced as the refree raised Lola's hand.

"She did it!" Meiko was overjoyed she ran towards the octagon, climbing over the cage and entering inside.

"Meiko? How did you get inside?" Lola asked as she took her newly won belt.

"You did it! You're champion now! You've made me proud!" Meiko hugged her.

"So happy to make you happy!" Lola hugged her back, getting emotional.

"I can't wait for you to become my mommy." Meiko said.

"I'm thrilled about having you as a daughter too." Lola said

"Next time, I'll oblierate her in the rematch." Sachiko thought, with anger running in her veins.

Nonetheless, it was an amazing day for Lola and Meiko.

It had been months since Lola defeated Sachiko and became champion. Sachiko did not took this well, she has been training hard every day for a rematch. She had asked for an year of preperation time for their rematch, and it was accepted. Unlike Sachiko, Lola has not been taking their upcoming rematch very seriously, with how comfortably she won last time, she doesn't think she needs to train that hard. Today was a special day for her and Meiko though. Today she was taking her to a bike stunt show. If there was one thing that Meiko loved as much as MMA, it was motor sports. Her love for bikes brought them there, Meiko was so hyped to see people perform the coolest stunts ever with their awesome bikes.

"This place is just amazing." Meiko was so happy.

"Aren't you my sweet little hardcore girl, loving hardcore things like fighting and bikes." Lola said.

"Uh, I have a request Lola, can you do a bike stunt for me?" Meiko requested.

"I mean, I can ride a bike, but I've never done a stunt before." Lola told her.

"Please, just for me! I wanna see my hero do it." Meiko said with adorable eyes.

"Well, I can't ever say 'no' to you." Lola accepted, she couldn't just let her now seven year old friend down.

Lola paid for a bike of her own, wore a helmet, sat on the bike, and got ready. She went near the nearest obstacle to make the jump off from it. She succeeded, but she then tried to turn the bike 180, which caused her to lose control and the bike crashed.

"LOLA!" Meiko screamed and ran towards the crashed bike "Lola! Are you alright."

"I-I'm okay." Lola said it with a injured sounding voice, but she knew her right foot was broken now.

Lola laid in her hospital bed, her foot in braces. Her doctor came in her room for an update.

"Your foot is not in a good condition Lola, this is terrible." The doctor told her.

"Please tell me I'll be able to walk when my rematch with Sachiko comes around!" Lola yelled.

"You'll be able to definitely walk, but your foot would be extremely vulnerable to attacks, I would advise against fighting." The doctor said.

"But Meiko has faith in me, I can't let her down." Lola said.

"But if Sachiko targets your foot even once, that can end in disaster for you." The doctor told her.

"She's going to be my daughter one day, I can't let my daughter down by running away." Lola argued.

"Still, maybe you should at least postpone the fight." The doctor suggested.

"If I do that then they'd strip me of the title due to injury and our rematch would just become a regular fight!" Lola yelled

"Your point is?" The doctor wasn't getting it.

"You really think Meiko would be happy seeing me lose the title?" Lola said.

"Yeah but-" before the doctor could continue, the door to the room opened, and Meiko and Kokone entered.

"Meiko! Kokone!" Lola was happy to see them.

"We came hear to wish you a speedy recovery." Meiko smiled.

"We hope you beat Sachiko again after you're okay." Kokone said.

"But-" the doctor tried to talk, but he was interrupted by Lola this time.

"Would you mind? I'm trying to talk to my friends." Lola told him.

"Whatever." The doctor left the room.

"Lola we know you can do it!" Meiko said.

"We know you can overcome this injury." Kokone said.

"I don't know about 'overcome' but I know this, if I can walk, I can fight, and there's no way I'm postponing the fight." Lola said.

Meiko and Kokone began cheering, Lola felt so good making a seven year old girl, and a six year old girl so happy. Sadly for her, she didn't thought about how hard Sachiko was training, and how seriously Sachiko was taking everything. Lola never had the time to train as hard as Sachiko for the fight, and it would end up biting her in the behind.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen!" Said a commentator "We've had an incredible event thus far, and we're about to get to our main event, the defending champion Lola is looking ready for this fight, she's 5'7", 19 years old, and has an undefeated record with 18 victories, the challenger Sachiko looks to get her belt back, she's 5'8", 24 years old, has 29 victories with only 1 loss, that being to Lola herself, neither one of them have fought anyone since their previous encounter, it has been long since then, let's find out who takes it home today."

Meiko sat in the crowd nervous "I hope Lola pulls it off."

Lola and Sachiko approached eachother and touched gloves.

"I'm not afraid of you Sachiko." Lola said to her.

"You should be afraid you Caucasian piece of shit!" Sachiko cursed her.

"Concentrate Lola, all you have to do is to make sure she doesn't target your foot." Lola whispered to herself.

Round 1

The moment they got near eachother, Sachiko went for a punch but Lola dodged it, however to her surprise, Lola's face ended up running into a punch from Sachiko's other hand. Sachiko took advantage, got down, and grabbed Lola's leg, trapping her into a heel hook.

"AAAHHHHHH!" Lola screamed with her vulnerable foot in pain.

Sachiko kept twisting Lola's foot in the most horrifying way. She had obviously came there with malicious intentions. Lola spent the rest of the round in the hold before the time-limit expired and saved her.

Round 2

"She's targeting my foot, this is not good." Lola whispered to herself as she got ready for the round.

Sachiko went by her again and trapped her into an ankle lock this time. She was bending her foot so badly that Lola couldn't take. Lola managed to drag herself to the edge of the cage to get a chance to stand up. To her surprise, Sachiko let go off the lock and got on top of Lola and started mercilessly punching her face. Sachiko was throwing a scary amount of punches and elbow strikes on Sachiko's face and Lola had remained in the fight by grabbing Sachiko's waist by both arms to make sure she doesn't lose by K.O. Sachiko however, just kept hitting her face and damaged Lola's eyes, nose, and mouth beyond recognition. Lola's face was a bloody mess by the time the round ended.

Round 3

"What can I do? I can't let Meiko down like this." Lola said to herself as she sat in her corner, she spat out blood in her own hands, realizing how horribly Sachiko had beaten her up.

Lola went up and out of adrenaline started punching Sachiko, not all of her punches connected, but she was slowly starting successfully land a couple punches. Lola was trying her hardest to make a comeback, but her multiple injuries she had already suffered had drained out her stamina. As she managed to successfully land a few punches and kicks in the first half of this third round, her draining stamina allowed Sachiko to regain control as the round ended.

Round 4

"I MUST WIN THIS! FOR MEIKO!" Lola yelled to herself as she stood up and got ready for the round.

She ran towards Sachiko, jumped and hit her with her first really impactful punch in the fight, the punch was so impactful that Sachiko dropped on her knees for a while before immediately getting up. Lola ran towards her again and gave Sachiko another brutal punch, just as hard as the previous one. Sachiko got down again for a moment before standing up again. Lola ran towards Sachiko a third time, but this time, Sachiko span around and connected a roundhouse kick to Lola's face. Lola's body dropped on the mat, ending the fight in a K.O. Sachiko had won.

"LOLA! NOOOOOOOOO!" Meiko screamed and ran towards Lola's body to see if she's okay... she wasn't.

"It looks like the lady wearing green has defeated the lady wearing black, our winner is Sachiko." The commentator said.

Meiko climbed up the cage and entered inside to see if Lola's okay.

"Lola get up! Talk to me! I said talk to me!" Meiko had started crying as she saw Lola's bloodied and unconsious body.

The refree had the championship belt in his hand, but he could only focus on Lola's serious condition and could only look towards her.

"Give me that!" Sachiko snatched the belt away from the refree "It's mine."

The medical team came to see Lola's body to see if she's gonna be alright. They kept checking her and it wasn't looking good.

"Tell me! Is Lola gonna be fine?" Meiko asked, still crying "I shouldn't have ever asked her to perform that stunt."

"We're sorry, her head was damaged beyond belief in the 2nd round, and she just kept taking hits, that roundhousr kick did irrepairable damage, there's nothing we can do, she'll be dead in a few hours." The doctor told the eight year old girl.

"NO! That can't be." Meiko couldn't believe it.

"Sorry, she's gone." The doctor said.

Meiko hugged Lola's body and began crying on it "Why? Why? You were suppose to be my mom! YOU WERE SUPPOSE TO BE MY MOM!"

An interviewer approached Sachiko as she was leaving the building and asked "That was a vicious fight, what do you have to say about it?"

"What is there to say? I proved that I'm the best." Sachiko said.

"Lola's condition looked serious, what if she dies?" The interviewer asked.

Sachiko snatched the mic away from her "So what? She signed up for it, if she dies then so be it, are you gonna call me responsible?"

"Well I-" the interviewer was scared.

"I cannot be beated, I have humiliated everyone, so if anyone's got a problem with me, I'm ready to kick their ass." Sachiko said and gave the mic back to the interviewer.

Sachiko left the building, but Meiko was internally beoken from losing her mother-figure.

It was Lola's funeral. The orphanage had allowed Meiko to attend if she goes with the head. Meiko was devastated, she couldn't stop crying looking at Lola's coffin. She thought she was finally gonna be a daughter, but it was taken away from her.

"Th-thank you for everything Lola." Meiko had a replica title belt in her hands and she put it on Lola's gravestone in respect.

"Everything's gonna be alright Meiko." She heard a voice and felt a hand on her shoulder.

She looked behind and it was Kaito.

"What are you doing here?" She asked Kaito.

"I sneaked out of the orphanage and followed you, I just wanted to send my condolences personally." He answered.

"Thanks Kaito." Meiko was grateful.

"If you really love this MMA thing as much as you say you do, I'll stick by your side and aid you in your journey." Kaito offered.

"You're the most selfless person I've ever met Kaito, you can aid me whenever you want." Meiko finally smiled for the first time since that incident.

Out of all the chapters I've ever wrote, this one just might be my favourite. Can't wait to continue the rest of the story in the upcoming chapters. This is going great.
