The beach was calling the team over. The sun's shining bright, the waves are large, and the breeze is amazing on the skin. Today's gonna be a great day. The Team approached the beach dressed in swimsuits and all carrying the stuff needed for a great beach day.

"Hello Megan. We should hit the beach every day." Megan said, with her hands out wide.

"Agreed." Said Trevor carrying a small surfboard.

"I've never had a beach day before. This is gonna be so fun!" Kara cheered.

Trevor placed his board in the sand then threw his arm over Kara's shoulder, then took a selfie with his cellphone. "Heck yeah, we are."

"First a moment of silence for our absent comrade." Robin looked down.

"Poor Wally." Megan frowned.

"Yeah, but that just made this day even more fun! Boy am I glad I don't have to go to school yet." Trevor said.

"Oh c'mon Trevor, don't be mean." Kara looked at Trevor with a disappointed look for his pettiness, "However true your claim is." She laughed with Trevor returning the chuckle.

"Okay, sorry, I take that back… Mostly. We'll save a spot for him next time." Trevor turned his attitude around grabbing his surfboard. "Now then. Let's have a fun beach day."

With that, the entire team ran into the water.

The team then spent the entire day having a fun beach day: Surfing, swimming, grilling barbeque, making sandcastles, burying sleeping comrades in the sand, playing volleyball etc.

Unfortunately Kid Flash was under the torture of Keystone High School: Boring lectures, poorly conditioned water fountains, sloppy cafeteria food unfit to be food at all, and worst of all dodgeball. When school finally came to an end he was beyond excited.

Mt. Justice

"Recognized Kid Flash B-0-3" the Zeta tube pulled out Wally decked out in swim trunks, with a cooler, fold-out chair, beach ball, a radio, sunglasses, an umbrella, duffel bag, and some lotion dabbed on his nose.

"The wall man is here! Now let's get this party star…" wally tripped over his umbrella in front of the team, and the league in uniform, "ted…"

"Sorry Wallman, we got a mission." Wonder Boy said, offering a hand.

"Wallman huh, I love the uniform." A new girl showed up in green, and in a blonde ponytail, "What exactly are your powers?"

Wonder Boy helped up Wally who looked at the girl. "Uh, who's this?"

"Artemis, your new teammate." The female archer introduced himself.

"Kid Flash never heard of you." Kid Flash responded.

"Um she's my new protege." Green Arrow answered.

"What happened to your old one?" Wally asked.

Just then the zeta tube activated. "Recognized, Speedy, B-0-6."

"Well for starters he doesn't go by Speedy anymore, call me Red Arrow." Roy spoke.

"Roy, you look-" Green Arrow was interrupted by his former protege.

"Replaceable." Red Arrow called.

"It's not like that. You told me you were going solo." Green Arrow held his hands up.

"So why waste time finding a sub? Can she even use that bow?" Red Arrow questioned.

"Yes she can." Artemis confronted.

"Who are you?" Wally asked.

"I'm his niece."

"She's my niece."

Green Arrow and Artemis said at the same time.

"Another niece?" Red Arrow questioned.

"But she is not your replacement." Aqualad assured as he walked up to him, "We always wanted you on the team, and we have no quota on archers."

"And if we did, you know who we'd pick." Wally smiled.

"Whatever Baywatch, I'm here to stay." Artemis called Wally.

The name got a chuckle out of Trevor, "Although two archers doesn't sound like a bad idea. I mean c'mon, two Kryptonians." Trevor pointed out to Superboy and Kara.

"Now if only we had a better god." Wally said which earned himself a mean look form Trevor.

"Careful Wally or this god will smite you." Trevor warned.

"You came to us for a reason." Aqualad asked Red Arrow.

"Yeah, a reason named Dr. Serling Roquette." Red Arrow addressed.

Robin activated his wrist computer and pulled up all the data he had on this person for the team. "Nano-robotics genius and claytronics expert at Royal University in Star City vanished two weeks ago."

"Abducted two weeks ago by the League of Shadows." Red Arrow explained.

"Whoa. You want us to rescue her from the Shadows?"

"Hardcore," Wally said, fist-bumping Robin.

"I already rescued her," Red arrow revealed, then pulled up more data. "Only one problem, the Shadows had already coerced her into creating a weapon. Doc calls it the fog, comprised of millions of microscopic robots. Nanotech infiltrators capable of disintegrating anything in their path concrete, steel, flesh and bone. But its true purpose isn't mere destruction. It's theft. The infiltrators eat and steal raw data from any computer system and deliver any stolen intel to the shadows. Providing them access to weapons, strategic defense, cutting edge science and tech."

"Perfect for extortion, manipulation, power broking. Yeah, sounds like the Shadows." Artemis said.

"Like you know anything about the shadows."

Artemis just smirked at him.

"Who are you?" Wally asked again.

"Shut up Wally." Wonder Boy said.

"Roquettes working on a virus to render the fog inert." Red Arrow explained.

"But if the shadows know she can do that-"

"They'll target her. Right now, she's off the grid. I stashed her at the local high-school computer lab." Red Arrow explained as the map showed the school in particular.

"You left her alone?" Green Arrow was worried.

"She's safe enough for now." Red Arrow assured him.

"Then let's you and I keep her that way." Green Arrow suggested.

"You and I? Don't you wanna take your new protege?" Red Arrow pointed out.

Green Arrow was about to walk further but Batman stopped him, "You brought this to the team. It's their mission, which means it's hers now, too."

"Then my job's done." Red Arrow was about to make his exit.

"Y'know Roy, Wonder Woman told me the League picks new members once a year. If I recall you were wanting to join the league since day one. Perhaps swallowing your pride, and working beside us might give you an edge on being considered. You may think this team may be just some ruse to keep us in our place, but you're wrong, and if I know Wonder Woman, the League has zero tolerance for arrogance." Wonder Boy explained.

Red Arrow stood silent from hearing that, "I would never be caught dead in this team, but that does make sense… I'll consider it, but not tonight."

Red Arrow took his leave, "Recognize, Speedy, B-0-6"

"That's Red Arrow, B-0-6. Update." Red Arrow took his leave.

"Alright, we have an archer, and I managed to get another archer to think about joining, you're welcome, Baywatch." Trevor smiled with a thumbs up.

Kara laughed at the name this time, "I'm glad the team has another girl." Supergirl said, walking up to Artemis.

"Well, I'm glad someone's happy to have me here." Artemis patted her head.

"Hey I vouched for you… I mean, indirectly." Trevor added.

"Fair, thanks kid." Artemis smirked.

"It's Trevor, or on the field it's Wonder Boy." Trevor corrected.

Happy Harbor High School

The team was assembled at the school standing guard while the doctor worked on the virus.

Miss Martian, Superboy, and Supergirl stood atop the roof providing overwatch. Wonder Boy, Aqualad, Robin and Kid Flash were in the computer lab with the doctor.

Aqualad spoke to Miss Martian via telepathy, "Miss Martian, link us up. We do not want the Shadows intercepting our comms."

Miss Martian then created a telepathic link for every member of the team. "Everyone online?"

"Oh this is weird.." Artemis is currently going through her first time in telepathy.

"And distracting, coding a distributive algorithm virus on a kiddie computer with less ram than a wrist watch is hard enough. Now I have to hear teen-think in my skull?" Dr. Serling was not enjoying the group's telepathic talk.

"Lady do you always complain when someone tries to help you?" Kid Flash said while eating a candy bar.

"Pot, kettle. Have you met?" Artemis asked.

"Yes he has, and he is still chasing that windmill." Wonder Boy added.

"Hey, hey, I do not need attitude from the newbie who drove Red Arrow off the team." Kid Flash squinted at Artemis.

"That is so not on me." Artemis pointed and turned away.

"Fate of the world at stake." Dr. Sterling added, annoyed by Artemis and Wally's bickering.

"She started it." Kid Flash folded his arms.

"Technically you complained first so… In a way you started it Kid Flash." Wonder Boy pointed out.

"Hey I do not need anymore lip from you, punk." Kid Flash pointed and stood before Wonder Boy.

"I know, but watching you humiliate yourself is really entertaining." Wonder Boy smiled.

"How about I help Ms. Martian, Supergirl and Superboy patrol the perimeter." Artemis left the room.

"Good idea." Aqualad managed to keep quiet from all of this.

"I'll go too." Wonder Boy followed.

"You might cut her some slack. It was her arrow saved your butt against Amazo." Robin smiled.

"What? No, that was Speedy's. I mean Red Arrow's arrow, right?" Kid Flash was hoping.

"Me and Wonder Boy compared the arrows to the souvenir, they're a match." Robin held his hands up.

"Well, still not giving her the satisfaction." Kid Flash crossed his arms and pouted.

"You know I can still hear you." Artemis called from downstairs.

"Robin, how's Kid handling the news?" Wonder Boy asked smiling.

Kid Flash groaned everything out in response.

"I couldn't get the Justice League." Dr. Sterling squeezed the bridge of her nose in disgust and irritation.

"Get over it lady, better us than no one at all." Wonder Boy replied.

"The virus won't be of much use if we cannot find the weapon. Can you track it?" Aqualad asked.

"My utility fog is not a weapon. It's science, brilliant science, and of course I can track it, but I'd have to go online. Might as well rent a billboard with this address and assassinate me written on it in neon." The scientist groaned.

Aqualad could see how afraid the doctor was not of dying but failing to stop her creation from being a weapon of mass destruction, "We will protect you." Aqualad placed a hand on her shoulder.

"We promise." Wonder Boy assured.

Feeling reassured by the team the doctor switched online to find her project.

Outside the school, Superboy scanned the perimeter, ruffling of feathers rattled the nearby trees. His ears aren't picking up anything, switching positions by jumping on the other side of the school. He landed behind Artemis and Ms. Martian and resumed his patrol.

"Hmm, that boy." Artemis wooed.

"He can hear you. We can all hear you." Ms. Martian glared.

"Oh, I know." Artemis smiled.

"You're wasting your time," Wonder Boy commented, "You'd have better chances with Kid Flash, trust me."

"Don't make this personal, Wonder Boy." Kid Flash replied.

"Don't make it personal? Thought it already was." Wonder Boy said.

"Ms. Martian, Dr. Roquette has located the fog. Reconfigure the bio-ship so that Wonder Boy, Robin, and Superboy can pursue." Aqualad refocused everyone back to the task.

Miss Martian called the bioship and had it land to the ground then the three wasted no time in ruining inside.

"We're ready." Miss Martian called.

Little did they suspect, the bushes were rustling and someone was right behind them eavesdropping.

Supergirl's enhanced hearing caught the unusual ruffling, she flew over to where she heard the sound only to find nothing. "Team we may have contact, keep your guard up."

"Got it, Supergirl." Artemis replied.

An hour has passed and the team at the school has had no sign of any hostile activity.

"Supergirl, are you sure someone's here? All I see are an empty school halls." Kid Flash was starting to doubt the little Kryptonian.

"I said we may have contact, I didn't say we did for sure. I swear no wonder Miss Martian doesn't return your affection," Supergirl called.

"I love you Supergirl!" Artemis praised the kid.

"Wonder Boy is right, you'll have better chances with Artemis, and you can't stand each other." Supergirl nodded.

Artemis's appreciation for Supergirl then quickly faded away as soon as she said that.

"OK, I take it back." Artemis replied.

"I'm just saying." Supergirl said.

"Put a sock in it Supergirl!" Kid Flash yelled.

"Hey stay away from Supergirl. You wanna get something off your back, you can say it to me." Artemis glared.

"Can you all please save this for after the mission?" Aqualad was finally breaking in his concentration.

Kid Flash noticed a shadow outside the room, "I might have movement, standby." Kid Flash walked over closer to the gym. The shadow is definitely unusual and is definitely someone.

"Kid Flash, do you see anyone? I'm heading over to back you up, Aqualad" Supergirl asked.

Kid Flash ran over to the pool only to trip and fall near the edge. He didn't have time to react before a foot kicked him in the face. The assailant then pushed him into the pool with their foot.

Aqualad and Dr. Sterling was visited by Supergirl to provide extra support. "Kid Flash isn't responding. I think something is-" Just then, she could hear sharp metal furling in someone's fingers and quickly caught the flying shuriken.

"Doctor, get down." Aqualad pulled out his water blades.

More shurikens then flew into the room only for them to be blocked by Supergirl. A woman ran into the room and Aqualad and Supergirl were ready.

"Hmm. That had to hurt." the woman sneered.

"It takes more than that to hurt me." Supergirl spat.

"Oh a Kryptonian, this'll be exciting." The assassin smiled under her cat mask.

Aqualad and Supergirl attacked together. Aqualad stayed close to the doctor to keep the assassin from making a sneaky move. Supergirl kept her tough-skinned form going any further.

"Megan, Kid, Artemis, we're under attack in the computer lab." Aqualad called via telepathy.

"On our way." Artemis replied.

"Hey, I think this assassin did something to Wally." Supergirl said.

"You're right." Megan realized, "I think I know where he is."

Aqualad and Supergirl kept the doctor behind them but this assassin is proving to be very skilled. She launched two kicks off the ground and both her legs wrapped around Aqualad's neck. Sending him to the ground in groans.

Both of them were on the floor, the assassin threw one of her sai blades into the doctor but Supergirl blocked the shot again. She charged straight for the assassin and kept her hands restrained, "You're a tough little Kryptonian, almost makes me not want to kill you."

"Touching, but I won't be swayed," Supergirl glared.

The assassin flipped over her and was ready to kill the doctor, but an arrow shot her weapon out of her hand. Turning around she saw Artemis, "Don't move."

The assassin chuckled, "This gig is getting interesting." She pulled out a fold-out wakizashi blade and used it to cut through Artemis's arrows. Soon after Miss Martian and Kid Flash arrived in full force, "Maybe a little too interesting."

Kid flash started running to tackle the assassin but she threw a flash bang and bolted out of the way he instead bumped right into Artemis.

"She's getting away! You're letting her get away!" Dr. Roequette yelledd at Aqualad.

Kid Flash then turned to Artemis. "This is all your fault! You were on the perimeter! How did that Shadow get in?!"

Artemis just placed her hands on her hips and narrowed her eyes at Kid Flash. Miss Martian stepped up to the two. "That's not really fair. I was outside too."

"Outside being distracted by her. Besides I can't be mad at you." Kid flash said then continued telepathically. "You gave me mouth to mouth."

"We heard that," Everyone in the room replied telepathically.

"Maybe you should stop blaming her. If anything I should be the one to blame I should've detected her with my superpowers but I didn't." Supergirl said, "And if I could do anything, I'd punch you right in the face for letting your selfish attitude judge Artemis when we're supposed to be a team, but that's unprofessional."

"Thanks Supergirl." Artemis smiled.

"Anything for the team." Supergirl smiled.

"Whatever." Kid Flash grumbled then walked away.

Miss Martian then placed a comforting hand on Artemis's shoulder.

"Focus everyone. The shadows will be back." Aqualad reorganized the team.

Suddenly Aqualad received a transmission from the radio, "Robin to Aqualad. We're over Philadelphia We've located the Shadow's next target. Star Labs."

"By the gods." Wonder Boy said shocked.

"What is it?" Aqualad asked.

"It's gone… the entire lab is gone." Wonder Boy said.

"This is bad. Star Labs is cutting edge science now its secrets are in the hands of our enemy." Robin said then asked. "What's our next move?"

"Rescan for that fog. Find it, we're moving the doctor." Aqualad informed the team.

As soon as the others returned the team moved to an internet Cafe at the docks.

Dr. Sterling was working on the computer with Kid Flash and Artemis right beside her keeping her safe while Aqualad. Miss Martain and Supergirl were right outside. As the two guarded the doctor both still gave hateful stares at each other. This petty grudge is really starting to get annoying.

"Stop it both of you." Aqualad ordered.

"What?" both asked.

"I can hear you glaring." Aqualad said.

"And I can feel your anger." Supergirl added.

"So keep your thoughts to yourselves or I'll give Supergirl my permission to punch you both." Aqualad said to ensure cooperation.

"Fine." Said both.

Back outside Aquald was taking cover behind a tree. "Miss Martian stay in camouflage made and make a full perimeter sweep."

Behind him a mysterious individual was hanging upside down from a tree. The figure snuck up above Aqualad, and Supergirl firing a red web-like substance and pulling him up to him. They both resisted of course and it ended with the figure throwing them down into the side of a nearby van.

Aqualad and Supergirl quickly got back up to confront this assailant, he jumped out from the trees and landed right in front of him. The assailant looked to be a male wearing a purple and black bodysuit, with a mask with glowing orange eyes with a spider emblem in his head. Aqualad and Supergirl prepared themselves for a fight but they were quickly taken out with a hook firing out of nowhere.

Both assassins walked up to Aqualad and Supergirl both unconscious, and were greeted by the original assassin from the high school, "The Martian could return any second, and I'm not keen on evening their odds. We end Roquette now."

Kid Flash and Artemis safeguarded Dr. Sterling as well as they could, but the rustling was getting louder. Suddenly the spider assassin slammed in the doors and landed in the room. Kid Flash quickly did a leg sweep only for him to jump off to the roof and fire red webbing. Luckily Kid Flash dodged, then picked up a trash can and threw it at him. The spider dropped to the ground before it could hit him then engaged Kid Flash.

Artemis readied one of her arrows to help Kid Flash but another assassin dropped from the overhead window above. Artemis realigned her aim over to the big man but he dodged behind the benches, "Don't stop working."

Moving back to the computer monitor, Dr. Sterling didn't notice the window above her was being opened with the lead Assassin aiming a crossbow at the doctor. She fired her crossbow but a shelf suddenly moved in front of her blocking the arrow.

"Martians here, it's now or never." Cheshire called to the rest.

Black Spider quickly kicked Kid Flash away then pulled the shelf away with his webbing allowing the leader to jump down, and tackle down the doctor. Artemis was taken out by the big man with the retractable hook.

Doctor Sterling was about to make a run for it, but the assassin kicked her down on the floor. Pulling out her sai blade the Doctor was revealed to be a ruse by Miss Martian.

"We've been duped!" The assassin pulled back.

"You'll never find Dr. Rouquette." Miss Martian swore.

"Never is such a long time. Pursuing target. Keep'em busy." The assassin ordered.

"Pursuing their leader. Take the rest down." Artemis called to her team.

"You are so not the boss of me." Kid Flash argued.

"Just do it!" Artemis replied.

Kid Flash was caught in an arm lock by Black Spider.

The assassin ran out by the silver van that Aqualad crashed in, "Oh I do not like being played." Switching her mask to another vision mode, she found Aqualad's foot trail.

Following the trail Artemis fell behind and threw a couple of arrows at her, the assassin managed to deflect both shots, "I was hoping it would be you." The assassin continued running down the trail climbing up a building and running across the roofs. However Artemis is hot on her trail, she fired an arrow that hit close to her but released a sleeping gas. The assassin was caught in the gas, and fell down. Creeping closer to the assassin with an arrow at the ready the assassin sweeped kicked her to the ground, "Mask has built-in filters." Artemis kicked her but the assassin wrapped her behind her back, "Better luck next time kid." She knocked out Artemis with one punch in the back of their head.

"We have company." Aqualad heard the tumble above.

"Uploading now. And by the way, you said you'd protect me." Dr. Roquette argued.

"And we will, just stay close and you should be fine." Supergirl said, but then something caught her ears, "She's in the vents." Supergirl called to Aqualad via telepathy.

Down the hall, a smoke bomb rolled over to them. Aqualad readied his water bearers, while Supergirl switched to X-ray vision. She could see the assassin coming in through the ceiling. Supergirl tapped Aqualad's shoulder, pointing to the ceiling.

Before dropping down, she threw a few more jellyfish poison darts at them. Luckily Supergirl has no problem with earth based toxins, which is why she took the front for Aqualad.

"You sweetheart are not making this fun." The assassin was getting testy with the Kryptonian.

"I aim to please." Supergirl responded.

Aqualad was the first to approach and fight head on. Supergirl stayed close to Dr. Sterling.

Back at the docks, Miss Martian and Kid Flash were still working with their assassins. Throwing a couple of benches over to the big metal handed guy, he crushed them both, "Kid Flash, we need to end this now."

Kid Flash responded via telepathy after running to escape Black Spider's webs, "It's like you read my mind, beautiful." The assassin finally caught him, but Kid Flash used his situation to his advantage and spun fast to tug him closer and kick him out of the fight.

The guy with the hook threw another chained hook at Miss Martian but she returned the attack to him with her telekinesis. Knocking him out with his own hook.

"Whoo-hoo! I got mine." Miss Martian was happy.

"Great… Uh, little help?" Kid Flash was still wrapped up.

Philadelphia

"The next target's the Waynetech facility. In theory the system's software could be used to hack the…"

"The what?" Superboy asked.

"Doesnt matter, wh-what matters is Waynetech operates at twenty-four workforce. We'll never evacuate the building in time."

"Wait, does Wayne help out the League? Are you saying they could hack into the Justice League by Wayne?" Wonder Boy asked.

"Yeah that's exactly it, he's one of the League's long time backers." Robin played along with the false conclusion.

"Then we need to stop them." Wonder Boy stated.

"For the League!" Superboy responded.

Looking down the streets a big silver van drove up in the parking lot, opening the backdoor, taking a look down, Professor Ojo was preparing to unleash the fog.

"The virus is downloading." Robin called the two. Superboy and Wonder Boy looked down.

"Don't need it." Superboy dropped down.

"Superboy!" Robin called.

"Whelp, we'll buy you some time for the download." Wonder Boy then stepped off the ramp and fell to the ground.

Falling down to confront Professor Ojo, he gave his helmet a charge and shot a laser at Superboy. Wonder Boy thankfully blocked it with his bracers, but Ojo was deploying the Fog already.

"No!" Robin jumped down and grappled to the main entrance. The fog already made a hole for him to jump in.

"What the?" A front desk guard saw Robin running down the hall, "Hey you can't come in here! Unauthorized entry!" The guard called on his radio.

The main gate was sealing and Robin won't make it in time, "Waynetech override Archie four." The gates lifted up and Robin rolled right in.

Running his way to the cafeteria Robin jacked into a nearby register.

"What is goin on? What're you doin?" The cashier asked.

"Please be linked to the mainframe. Please be linked to the mainframe." Robin repeated hoping for a miracle.

Which was delivered, as the download was ready and the register's computer was linked to the mainframe. Sending out the virus, the whole screen went red as well as the fog itself, they were all being destroyed and then dissipated into nothing.

"Yes! The infiltrators have been outfiltrated." Robin smiled.

Back outside, Professor Ojo was still busy with Wonder Boy. He was prepared to fire again, but at full strength. Firing one more shot, Wonder Boy blocked it again with his bracers but this time Superboy was able to pick himself up and get over to Ojo and punch him out cold.

"Good teamwork, Wonder Boy!" Superboy praised.

"All you did was punch him, I did the heavy lifting." Wonder Boy called out.

"Yeah you did, thanks for that, could've ruined my shirt." Superboy replied looking down at his unscathed shirt.

"Yeah, very funny." Wonder Boy huffed holding his arms out to emphasize on his burnt hoodie, "These braces protect my arms but not anywhere else apparently."

"Still, you did good. You were a natural with those bracers." Superboy praised.

Back at the Internet Cafe, Aqualad and Supergirl were able to fend off the assassin, "Well looks like you two managed to stop me and send the download, just know I have my orders, and they were but you Dr. Sterling may still be of use to the League." The assassin took her leave with a flash bomb and made her exit.

Leaving the cafe, four arrows were fired, setting off an explosion. The blast was strong enough to brush off her mask.

"Don't move a muscle." Artemis held an arrow at the assassin.

"Wow, I am completely at your mercy." The assassin turned around and showed Artemis your face.

Artemis gasped, "You."

"I suppose you bring me to justice. Let your new friends interrogate me. I wonder if your positions secure enough to survive them learning everything I know." The assassin smiled

Artemis glared and withheld her bow and stood down.

"Didn't think so. So like the Cheshire cat, I'll just dissapear." The assassin, Cheshire vanished in a cloud of smoke.

"Artemis, where's the assassin?" Aqualad asked.

"She, uh, she got away." Artemis doesn't look real composed from her stance.

"That's okay, the job is done and no one was assassinated." Supergirl smiled and reminded the group.

"Yeah, I'm sorry for that, we'll get her next time, sorry." Artemis looked down in herself.

Kid Flash sped over to respond, "Oh, from you? Oh big surprise. Notice we got ours."

Miss Martian brought the two other assassins tied together.

Supergirl has had enough from Kid Flash's lip and sucker punched him in the face twice and another in the stomach. "That's for outbursting on Artemis's first day on the job."

"Aqualad?" Kid Flash whined.

"No comment." Aqualad didn't take sides.

Standing back up, Kid Flash noticed Cheshire's mask, "Cool. Souvenir."

"Her mask, did you see her face?" Aqualad asked.

"No it was dark." Artemis excused.

"Doesn't matter, we got the job done, and I think Artemis did a great job tonight." Supergirl praised.

"She's right. It's fine. Wonder Boy, Robin and Superboy neutralized the fog and Dr. Roquette is safe. Thanks in no small part to you."

Artemis turned around to the group.

"Welcome to the team." Aqualad welcomed.

Artemis smiled. The team walked over to Artemis, Aqualad shook her hand.

"I always wanted a sister." Megan was happy.

"M'Gann?" Supergirl whined.

"I mean a human sister, on earth. I have twelve back on mars, but trust me its not the same." Miss Martian explained.

"I wouldn't know but thanks." Artemis smiled.

Miss Martian elbowed Kid Flash to get him to say it, "Ow."

"You want my Kryptonian sister to do it for me?" Miss Martian pointed as Supergirl began popping her knuckles.

"Yeah, welcome." Kid Flash finally admitted. At least for the moment. He raised his hand for a handshake, and she complied.

"This is so awesome!" Supergirl jumped and gave her a hug.

"Well let's get going." Aqualad walked over to headquarters.

Before they could leave, Supergirl pulled Artemis up close, "I have super hearing, and I know what she said to you, but I won't ask. You're part of the team." Supergirl smiled while looking up at her.

Artemis was shocked but it didn't last long while looking down at the happy Kryptonian. She put a finger over her lip, "Shhh, I promise."

"You're a sweet kid." Artemis put a hand over her shoulder and they left the vicinity.

After that whole mission, the team returned to Mt. Justice to rest after such a hard mission. Robin, Superboy, and Wonder Boy arrived from the bioship.

"Hey guys." Trevor called over to the other team.

"Hey Trevor how did things go?" Kara asked.

"I managed to block a hard laser with my bracers but lost another hoodie. What about you guys?" Trevor asked.

"Kara punched Wally a few times, really funny." Artemis answered.

"You serious? I wish I saw that." Trevor laughed.

"I need a bit to eat." Wally walked over to the kitchen.

"Hello Wally, where's Trevor?" A woman asked Wally.

"Hey guys, Trevor? It's your mom." Kid Flash said to Trevor.

The team walked over to the main room. The team's guest is none other than Wonder Woman. Trevor's mentor… and mother.

Aqualad approached Wonder Woman. "Wonder Woman, to what do we owe this pleasure?"

"I wish to speak with Wonder Boy in private." Wonder Woman requested.

"Ugh sure." Trevor walked over to Wonder Woman and they flew somewhere outside the base.

Away from the team, Wonder Woman and Wonder Boy flew to the top at the top of Mount Justice.

Dropping the professional act, Diana gave her son a hug, "I've missed you son."

"Missed you too mom." Trevor greeted back.

Diana then released her son then said. "I just came to check on you, I've… noticed you were getting along with Clark's cousin."

"Kara? Yeah, she's a lot of fun to be around. She's a great friend." Trevor spoke the truth.

"That's good to hear." Diana was somewhat relieved he sees her as a friend. At least for the time being, given his age.

"I just want you to know, Clark, J'onn, and I have been thinking of… Sending you, Kara, M'gann, and Superboy to the local school here.

"What?" Trevor was shocked at the news.

"Now hold on, I know you haven't had much… good times at your schools, but with everything going on, I thought having you with a few members of your team would be easier." Diana suggested.

"I don't know, I'm…" Trevor was hesitant.

"You're father and I are going to the school tomorrow to have you enrolled, thought you'd like to join us." Diana put a hand on her shoulder.

"I'll be going with my friends here?" Trevor asked.

"You will, I promise." Diana assured.

"Okay, I'll be as tough as the Spartans, and brave through the pain." Trevor stood up with confidence.

"That's my boy." Diana hugged her son, "Also question, did you tell them I'm your mother?" Diana asked.

"First day, why?" Trevor asked in response.

"Well they're your friends, I don't mind." Diana kissed her boy on the forehead, "Let's go son."

The two flew down to meet the rest of the team, "Alright team, you all seem to be doing well from what Batman has been reporting, and a certain Kryptonian has been taking notice." Wonder Woman looked over to Superboy, and Kara, "Well I'll see you all later. Keep up the good work everyone." Wonder Woman smiled at the team, and went through the zeta tube.

"It's pretty late, we should get going." Kara suggested, "I have a long flight to my parent's farm."

"Actually, wait, before we all go for the night, I have something to say." Trevor gathered everyone's attention.

"What is it?" Robin asked.

"I'm…I'm glad to be a part of this team. I'm glad to have met all of you and I can't have asked for a better team or better friends." Trevor said with a smile on his face. "And if any of you ever need my help I'll always be there to help you."

"Thanks Trevor. You're a great friend!" Kara responded first.

"You've been a good sparring partner." Superboy gave him a nod of approval.

"A capable warrior in the field." Aqualad said.

"Hello Megan, you give great baking tips." M'gann coined her praise.

"You seemed on board having me on this team. I'm sure we'll get along fine." Artemis smiled at Trevor.

"Keep up the pace your on, you'll be as good a detective as me." Robin acknowledged Trevor. Given he has potential.

"Well you did handle yourself a lot better when we met Twister. You got an A+ on me!" Wally gave Trevor a thumbs up.

"Hey guys, I know it's late, but you wanna have a barbeque back at the beach? We could make up for lost time at the beach with Wally." Kara suggested.

"Ooh can we?" Wally rubbed his hands together.

"Aqualad?" Robin turned to their leader.

"Why not? Let's go!" Aqualad approved.

"Yahoo!" Wally jumped in cheers.

The group switched out of their work suits and went back to their swimwear. Making their way outside they lit a small bonfire and celebrated their time together. Barbecue hotdogs, and a few jumps in the ocean was definitely what the Team needed.
